Ambrosia in Port St. Lucie is an incredible facility with outstanding professionals. Nadine was my therapist and she was an absolute 10/10 clinician—incredibly supportive, skilled, and impactful. Additionally, James, who ran the family groups, was phenomenal in his approach. Even though my own family wasn't present, the environment he created allowed us to support one another seamlessly—such as reading letters out loud to stand-in family members in the audience. It created a deeply powerful space for healing grief. Now, eight years sober, I highly respect their professionalism and would recommend their program to anyone looking for true support.

If you or a loved one is struggling, I highly recommend Ambrosia Treatment Center. It truly changes lives. The admissions team is professional, knowledgeable, and empathetic (Specifically Alan) which reassured me that I came to the right place. The admissions process was seamless! I’m beyond grateful for the care and support my sister received here. The therapists and counselors are incredibly knowledgeable and approachable, always going above and beyond to help work through challenges at your own pace. The mental health support is just as strong as the substance abuse treatment, making a huge difference in her journey. I can’t say enough amazing things about this facility!

My daughter was at Ambrosia for several months and we had a positive experience. The best part about Ambrosia was the therapist. Therapist Katelyn is the first therapist who my daughter ever felt a connection to. Katelyn was absolutely amazing with my daughter and to our family. My experience at amethyst was extraordinary. the staff was very supportive and I never felt like I was inconveniencing anyone by asking for something. The environment is very clean and the food is delicious and they even offer an alternative menu if the scheduled meal is not to your liking. it's very evident the entire team at amethyst works in client's best interest and really wants to see people get well. The aftercare planning is also remarkable. Amber is very thorough to ensure things outside of the facility are handled such as court or work and Kyliee ensures you have a plan when you leave. staff shoutouts also to Sal, Dustin, rob, Janet, kila, nate, Nicole (both), Jen, Alyssa, Dave, John (both), Desmond, leah, and savannah. Nursing is also compassionate and thank you to amber, nyaisha, Victoria, Abby, inocia, jess, Candice, Nicole, Cassandra, Sherry, Charmaine, and Nicole p. Kim is the alumni coordinator and so sweet. She ensures you have support afterward. Facilitators offer a variety of topics and it helps to speak in a group setting. if you and considering sending someone you care about here, I cant say strongly enough, you've found the right place. If you're looking at this review for yourself, you dont have to suffer any longer. Pick up the thousand pound phone and start changing your life. Youre worth it.

How to explain it cause dr betty is very nice and sometimes if you need help then she always take you in very early and the staff in the front office they are very nice but don't let the bad vibes hurt/fool you because the new horizons stuart is always here to help or the injection from fort pierce to stuart injection staff that gives me the injection every 3 month's they are helpful and nice so if you need help again then new horizon stuart they got your back with meds. (:

This was my first time in treatment, and didn’t know what to expect. The staff was kind and professional. The way therapy groups are structured, created a daily routine and schedule to simplify the path to recovery. All staff were caring and supportive of all clients, but a few that really went the extra mile for me like Janie, Trish, Linda and Leigh really stood out to me. The sense of community and friendships I made, have definitely left a mark and had a hand in shaping my path in recovery.

I have had an amazing experience with this facility...recovery that sticks...from the new housing, great staff, and flexible food options...I was given the care I needed to get things right in my life and beat addiction...the staff is great, Jess my therapist is incredible to work with and can connect with anyone in a friendly way that can be appropriately tough when needs to be but is relatable and encouraging, it's obvious she loves what she does, my caseworker Janey gave me solutions that set me up for success during and after php level of care, and she goes above and beyond what's required to make things possible for us...last but not least I cannot forget the techs the blue that holds the place together. RBS techs are behind the scenes and available keeping everything running through the day and available 24 hours a day. They keep the place clean they get the beds ready they make sure we get to and from where we need to be. They also go out of their way getting us all the varies requests that we make that they don't necessarily have to do all in the kindness of their hearts... When we have bad days they still get the job done no matter where the clients are at or how they are being treated they're sensitive to the fact that sometimes we're difficult and our moods can go up and down trying to deal with so many new people while we're trying to get sober and learn coping skills. Out of all the techs I would have to say Taylor has gone above and beyond we had a rough start the first time that I tried to come through and I left... When I came back and actually finished this program you forgave me for how I was and has gone out of her way to help with little things that made big differences. She handles her daily responsibilities thoroughly and make sure things are done right and with care. Thank you RBS for this amazing experience I will be forever grateful!!! P.S. special thanks to all the people involved in my recovery here but I haven't mentioned therapists, techs, caseworkers, doctors, nurses, clinical directors, and all of the incredible group facilitators that fed me what I needed to overcome the need to use substance helping find that I never had a substance issue that I had an issue with my life and the way things were going. For showing me a different solution for those troubles that don't lead to substance abuse.

You have to stay ahead of appointments, prescriptions, medications, etc. Dr Kepfer is experienced and knowledgeable psych Dr. she will guide you in the right direction. As a patient you have to follow through with orders. Mental health is difficult. We have to be proactive about our self care and educate ourselves on diagnosis. Medication is a “helper.” I, you, all patients must learn about your disease. Group therapy is an excellent way to learn about yourself, triggers, coping mechanisms, side effects, etc. If you’re not willing to help yourself, you can’t expect your dr to fix everything.

I don't think a day goes by that I don't thank dunklin and God for saving my son's life. Every time I got a phone call in the middle of the night I thought it was the police calling to tell me my son has died from an overdose. I myself was in and out of CRC for many years they are there to help people that want to be helped I have graduated from crc about 3 or 4 times I love everyone that works there now and in the past I had all good experiences at CRC I'm sorry if anyone had a bad experience while attending CRC if so take a look in the mirror because they are there for us the last time I graduated from crc I did relapse after 6 years because I wasn't ready but i now will be celebrating 7 years clean and sober July 13th 2026 that's if the lord's will nothing happened but this time I did it on my own no CRC but I took everything I learned throughout the years of me going in and out with me everyday and making my meeting and never forgetting where I came from again I love me some CRC God bless every one of the staff members❤️

This place and the women who work here are nothing short of the best. I have been in the IOP program for about 2 months and it's been a healing and rewarding journey. The counselors don't put up with bs, and they have seen it all. They are there to help and give their time whenever asked. Here in PSL, we are blessed with dedicated VA Reps; Many have served themselves in the Military.... Again, they have all been the best.. I wish I could leave more Stars!!!! Every Veteran I see at PSL; Fort Pierce and West Palm brag about the medical services we received at Veterans. I brag about the treatment we get here. I walked into this facility not knowing what to expect at all. It was hands down the best decision I have ever made when it came to dealing with my addiction and my life. From the staff to all the other clients. I can’t say enough!! YOU GET WHAT YOU PUT INTO IT!!!!! I personally I had life changing experience. I was able to RESET myself and find the person that I knew I could be. If you are in the fence about something like this... get out of your comfort zone - take the step for yourself!! You will not regret it!!

This place saved my life. I was there July 2016. I’m from Boston, Massachusetts. I have state insurance. I’m someone who not in their wildest dreams could ever afford a treatment facility that wasn’t state funded. Been to many over the course of my addiction, last 15yrs. State insurance of course made it almost impossible to find an open bed if you didn’t call at exactly the right time that bed becomes available. I spent weeks calling these places everyday all day. I called addiction treatment hotlines so many times they practically knew who I was. I came to the conclusion that if I was to get the proper treatment it’s gonna cost thousands of dollars. At the time I couldn’t afford a hot dog! Then I was offered the opportunity of a lifetime. My stepdad offered to help pay for me to go to an out-of-state rehab. My girlfriend and I both started making calls to find a place in my price range. Executive Recovery offered to negotiate with me. The very next day I was on a plane to Florida. From the very beginning of my intake they went above and beyond to help in anyway they could to start my recovery off on the right foot. Again this coming from someone who’s only ever been to state funded treatment facilities. I’ve never been to such a place even on vacation. Our treatment plan was, Group Therapy, Monday-Saturday 9-4, each group focusing on a different aspect of addiction with a different group leader. Which I was blown away by the the therapists leading the groups. Every one of them had their own past history involving addiction. It wasn’t just a job for them. Every one of them happy to be there helping other addicts achieve lasting sobriety. Never once did I feel judgement by anyone. You can’t fake sincerity like that. Sunday was a mandatory sober activity. My fellow addicts in treatment with me were all amazing people from all over the country. People who actually wanted to be there, who paid big $$ to be there. Not people being forced or court ordered to be there and can’t wait to get out and back to the life. The dynamic was unlike anything I’ve ever experienced in other treatment places. Being in an environment surrounded by people wanting to better themselves was a huge factor in my success. Some people complained about not getting what was promised in their website, blah blah blah. But me? I was nothing but grateful I was given this opportunity. I didn’t care much that there wasn’t a masseuse for massage therapy. Seriously I’m poor and never had a massage in my life. So not a priority. Even without the massage therapy😂I’m still sober today, go figure!

I had a great experience with my first Hospital stay here! Luke one of the male techs deserves a raise, he is compassionate, friendly, and outgoing, was a joy speaking with him! Nurse Jessie was honest but also compassionate and understanding. The overnight nurses were sweet as can be. Yes, it is boring and feels like jail. But you are there to get better. Food is ok but atleast its free.

I was brought here and upon my arrival i met Ayzia, she is one of the best techs out there and i couldn’t be more grateful for her! She made me feel safe even when i didn’t feel okay and helped me thur my episodes! Especially with anxiety! She never hesitated to make me laugh till i almost pissed myself! SHE DESERVES A RAISE 💯💯💯
