This place saved my life if it wasn't for the staff I wouldn't know where I would be at this time. The staff was very attentive to all the patients there, They treat you like you family and the food is great. Lol Agape means live and they sure do show it. I would recommend this place for anyone with mental health issues or addiction issues.

I cannot recommend the counseling center and Ms. Irene highly enough. From the moment I walked in, I was met with a warm, welcoming environment that immediately put me at ease. Ms. Irene is an exceptional counselor whose professionalism and empathy are truly remarkable. Her ability to listen without judgment and provide insightful guidance has been instrumental in my personal growth. Her approach is both compassionate and practical, making each session incredibly valuable. If you're seeking a supportive and effective counseling experience, Ms. Irene and this center are an excellent choice.

This was my first time in treatment, and didn’t know what to expect. The staff was kind and professional. The way therapy groups are structured, created a daily routine and schedule to simplify the path to recovery. All staff were caring and supportive of all clients, but a few that really went the extra mile for me like Janie, Trish, Linda and Leigh really stood out to me. The sense of community and friendships I made, have definitely left a mark and had a hand in shaping my path in recovery.

I have had an amazing experience with this facility...recovery that sticks...from the new housing, great staff, and flexible food options...I was given the care I needed to get things right in my life and beat addiction...the staff is great, Jess my therapist is incredible to work with and can connect with anyone in a friendly way that can be appropriately tough when needs to be but is relatable and encouraging, it's obvious she loves what she does, my caseworker Janey gave me solutions that set me up for success during and after php level of care, and she goes above and beyond what's required to make things possible for us...last but not least I cannot forget the techs the blue that holds the place together. RBS techs are behind the scenes and available keeping everything running through the day and available 24 hours a day. They keep the place clean they get the beds ready they make sure we get to and from where we need to be. They also go out of their way getting us all the varies requests that we make that they don't necessarily have to do all in the kindness of their hearts... When we have bad days they still get the job done no matter where the clients are at or how they are being treated they're sensitive to the fact that sometimes we're difficult and our moods can go up and down trying to deal with so many new people while we're trying to get sober and learn coping skills. Out of all the techs I would have to say Taylor has gone above and beyond we had a rough start the first time that I tried to come through and I left... When I came back and actually finished this program you forgave me for how I was and has gone out of her way to help with little things that made big differences. She handles her daily responsibilities thoroughly and make sure things are done right and with care. Thank you RBS for this amazing experience I will be forever grateful!!! P.S. special thanks to all the people involved in my recovery here but I haven't mentioned therapists, techs, caseworkers, doctors, nurses, clinical directors, and all of the incredible group facilitators that fed me what I needed to overcome the need to use substance helping find that I never had a substance issue that I had an issue with my life and the way things were going. For showing me a different solution for those troubles that don't lead to substance abuse.

Essentials has been SO important to my sobriety journey, I cannot thank them enough. They take the time and care to get to know each client as an individual and then match them up with the best services to fit your needs. They cover all the bases with an interdisciplinary approach to substance issues and mental health - but more than that, they make you feel empowered to take charge of your own recovery. Ps: They usually have snacks.

Dr Joe Ann Falcon Hickey is a God Send She doesn't mind checking up on you and will do injections She is med-management and got me off most of my meds while controlling my facial tick

You have to stay ahead of appointments, prescriptions, medications, etc. Dr Kepfer is experienced and knowledgeable psych Dr. she will guide you in the right direction. As a patient you have to follow through with orders. Mental health is difficult. We have to be proactive about our self care and educate ourselves on diagnosis. Medication is a “helper.” I, you, all patients must learn about your disease. Group therapy is an excellent way to learn about yourself, triggers, coping mechanisms, side effects, etc. If you’re not willing to help yourself, you can’t expect your dr to fix everything.

Again I was there and they never fail to amaze me. Dr Barrios and front desk and therapists are fantastic.

Ambrosia really helped me work on myself and learn about staying clean and how to. I enjoyed my time here and found the staff to be helpful. The housing was very nice and I had no problems with it. I have rediscovered myself through this process. I would definitely recommend Ambrosia to anyone struggling because I found it extremely helpful and it really worked for me.

I have been to 21 treatment centers over the course of 18 years trying to overcome this awful disease. So I have experience with many treatment centers. Ambrosia is without a doubt one of the top treatment centers I have been to. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and caring and will go out of their way to help you and genuinely want you to get better. The center itself is clean, safe, and comfortable. I felt listened to and got a treatment plan specific to me that targeted my own personal needs to avoid relapse. Upon leaving I felt confident in my abiliy to stay sober yet also knew and felt comfortable that Ambrosia would take me back with open arms should I need them in the future. If you are looking for a treatment center that genuinely cares and if you truely want to tackle your addiction, Ambrosia is the place for you. I can personally attest to this. THEY CARE.

My experience started rough n i hated the place but that's cuz i didnt try at first wellness is an amazing place that which im very grateful i called when i hit my rock bottom they showed me they way to sobriety god n to most of all my true self the staff is absolutely amazing food though not so good not gonna lie but life aint peaches n freakin cream yall if ur sober n happy thats all that matter u can cook when ya get to php iop n then ya get oit n a few months n get a organized routine to ur life thanks to wellness n thier staff ive sent alot of my friends there n they r om their path to sobriety one day at a time

I walked into this facility not knowing what to expect at all. It was hands down the best decision I have ever made when it came to dealing with my addiction and my life. From the staff to all the other clients. I can’t say enough!! YOU GET WHAT YOU PUT INTO IT!!!!! I personally I had life changing experience. I was able to RESET myself and find the person that I knew I could be. If you are in the fence about something like this... get out of your comfort zone - take the step for yourself!! You will not regret it!!

This place saved my life. I was there July 2016. I’m from Boston, Massachusetts. I have state insurance. I’m someone who not in their wildest dreams could ever afford a treatment facility that wasn’t state funded. Been to many over the course of my addiction, last 15yrs. State insurance of course made it almost impossible to find an open bed if you didn’t call at exactly the right time that bed becomes available. I spent weeks calling these places everyday all day. I called addiction treatment hotlines so many times they practically knew who I was. I came to the conclusion that if I was to get the proper treatment it’s gonna cost thousands of dollars. At the time I couldn’t afford a hot dog! Then I was offered the opportunity of a lifetime. My stepdad offered to help pay for me to go to an out-of-state rehab. My girlfriend and I both started making calls to find a place in my price range. Executive Recovery offered to negotiate with me. The very next day I was on a plane to Florida. From the very beginning of my intake they went above and beyond to help in anyway they could to start my recovery off on the right foot. Again this coming from someone who’s only ever been to state funded treatment facilities. I’ve never been to such a place even on vacation. Our treatment plan was, Group Therapy, Monday-Saturday 9-4, each group focusing on a different aspect of addiction with a different group leader. Which I was blown away by the the therapists leading the groups. Every one of them had their own past history involving addiction. It wasn’t just a job for them. Every one of them happy to be there helping other addicts achieve lasting sobriety. Never once did I feel judgement by anyone. You can’t fake sincerity like that. Sunday was a mandatory sober activity. My fellow addicts in treatment with me were all amazing people from all over the country. People who actually wanted to be there, who paid big $$ to be there. Not people being forced or court ordered to be there and can’t wait to get out and back to the life. The dynamic was unlike anything I’ve ever experienced in other treatment places. Being in an environment surrounded by people wanting to better themselves was a huge factor in my success. Some people complained about not getting what was promised in their website, blah blah blah. But me? I was nothing but grateful I was given this opportunity. I didn’t care much that there wasn’t a masseuse for massage therapy. Seriously I’m poor and never had a massage in my life. So not a priority. Even without the massage therapy😂I’m still sober today, go figure!

I was brought here and upon my arrival i met Ayzia, she is one of the best techs out there and i couldn’t be more grateful for her! She made me feel safe even when i didn’t feel okay and helped me thur my episodes! Especially with anxiety! She never hesitated to make me laugh till i almost pissed myself! SHE DESERVES A RAISE 💯💯💯

This facility isn’t a resort. I did not come to get treatment in luxury. I’ve been in and out of Detox, i relapsed so many times but everytime I comeback they take me in with open arms judgement free. I’m grateful they got me into an out patient program on scholarship and I believe this time I won’t be coming back. I’m 60 days sober and I’ve finally realized I have to work the program and the steps to stay out of detox. The staff at New Herizons is the best and most knowledgeable out of the places I’ve been for treatment. Thank God for New Herizons they saved my life.

Lmao hey mr will do you remember me from back in the children unit back from 2011 through 2013 it's me francisco gaspar i'm now the age of 27 and turning 28 this year and do you remember when you told me that i had food in my mouth as a chipmunk also thank's to the ppl from back in the old days for helping me with my mental health issues i really miss you guy's i remember i think his name was rico or whatever his name was the worker rico thanked for helping me and he was a nice worker but now i know he's not working their when i left my final moment in 2013 including the doctors too whoever is see my review don't be afraid and your fears and whatever type of your mental health issue is you need to just battle and fight it back i know back in the old days i use to be afraid and fear but something told me that don't be afraid and fear different ppl have the samething but different there r different mental hospital's out there that r their for you god is helping you out trust me.

Kim is one of the best therapists I've had the opportunity to receive services from. I began therapy at a very chaotic and uncertain time in my life, and through therapy, she helped me understand the roots of my issues and provided solid advice for tackling it. She's empathetic, patient, and direct. She wasn't afraid to point out issues in my behavior and thought processes, and it was that honesty, combined with her empathy, that really helped empower me to better take responsibility for my life. She really does care for her patients, and if you're someone who is struggling in life and you need help, she's one of the best therapists to work with, especially in the Martin County area. When I stopped therapy, I wasn't as grateful as I should have been. Looking back on it, her services changed my life and helped me recognize how important it was that I take action to move my life forward and take responsibility for the times I've hurt myself and other people.
