Zinnia overall was a great experience! I encountered many strengths and a few faults. The faults came under scrutiny in the upper management role. I completely understand that Zinnia is a wellness facility and a business. The personal experience, to me was wellness was priority one, in the case of facilitators, techs and nurses. This was not the case in the roll of Director of Operations at the Singer Island facility. This individual showed little compassion and it was obvious that business outranked wellness.Regards,Bob S. While I was a little hesitant getting into treatment like most, the staff at sandstone were extremely patient and caring throughout the whole process. I attended and completed the dual diagnosis iop program while in treatment the staff at sandstone did an amazing job to make me feel welcome and comfortable and addressed and concerns quickly and effectively. The groups were very involved and really challenged me to grow as a person. After treatment I ve been attending the alumni program that meets regularly and does fun events. It s been a really good way to connect with others in the sober community and to get the extra support when I need it. I would highly recommend looking into sandstone if your considering treatment or haven t found a place that s right for you.

I went through sandstone twice. Once when I was 18 and again when I was 19. At the time I was not willing to admit that I had a problem with substances. I thought I had everything figured out. The years after I had graduated the program I was able to prove to myself that I still knew nothing about my alcoholism. I am grateful for sandstone since I wouldn t have even been able to have any type of knowledge about my own substance use if it wasn t for the amazing staff over at sandstone. They helped me get my foot through the door into the world of recovery. I don t know where I would be without sandstone and I am beyond grateful for the effort the staff puts in to help people with their mental health/substance abuse. I now have a great relationship with my family, a true connection with my friends and most important I have a life worth living now. That is just the surface of what recovery has brought into my life. I have sandstone to thank for that!

Things I loved Sandstone Care1) Group therapy, and learning new skills.2) Once enrolled you can also schedule individual therapy.3) After graduating the program you are invited to Alumni events. So you always feel connected to the program and get to meet previous graduates of the program. Some events I ve been to were Lantern Festival, Animal sanctuary, Game Nights, and many more. There are also zoom sessions.I really am thankful for the Alumni group and coordinators for always checking in.

Stout street has done so many things for me and I`m so proud of myself for putting in the work. Before SSF I was living on the streets. I was addicted to crack cocaine and I never knew there was a life other than using substances. I am proud to say that I have been sober for 2 years and a week because I never gave up on myself and I always went the extra mile. I have completed the program and will be graduating in March 2025. Now I`m an Admission Coordinator for the 28 day Serenity program. I have learned the definition of people helping people help themselves.

I went to CeDar last year in January and I was truly hanging on to life by a thread. I was extremely anxious and had no idea what to expect going to rehab for the first time. I met many different staff members and they were all very helpful and empathetic to my situation. The food was amazing which was awesome when I finally had an appetite I looked forward to every meal. The classes throughout the day taught me a lot of things I didn t know about addiction, and I loved that we were introduced to some light meditation, I think that is very helpful to many people. During my stay at CeDar I woke up one night in extreme pain and walked over to the nurse station where I was evaluated and sent to the ER the ER doctor barely even spoke to me and sent me back to CaDar. I spent the next three days in horrible pain to the point I couldn t even move from a chair. The nurses and my doctor were incredible. They did everything in their power to try and make me comfortable and helped me with anything and everything, I will never forget that. The next morning I started coughing up blood and my doctor sent me back to the ER where I spent the next month. I had a huge blood clot on the lining of my lungs causing my heart to enlarge. If I had not gone to rehab I do not think I would be alive today. I was at the right place at the right time. I am now one year sober from drugs and alcohol and I will never forget my experience at CeDar and the people that helped me there.

The campus is truly beautiful and the perfect place to recover! The chefs do an awesome job and were always so kind and accommodating to me following a pescatarian diet. My cottage was a great place to relax and hang out with my peers! Accommodations are very clean and comfortable! Can t wait to start my Virtual IOP program thru CeDARs and come back for in person meetings and Alumni events! Thank you SOOOO much, CeDARs, I will cherish my time here forever! <3~ Heather G

We are so grateful for the Rose House, their years of experience, purposeful programming, compassion, and transparent well rounded treatment plan. One of the components that stands out the most is their dedication to supporting the families of the loved one staying at The Rose House. The Zoom support groups, the articles, the recommended reading, and the family weekend seminars distinguish this place from the others and help loved ones understand how to move forward in a more positive role. This place is truly a beautiful and magical place. Before our loved one checked into the rose house we as a family felt defeated, helpless and frightened on what might happen next in the throws of their addiction but, after only a couple of months we see the light and feel so incredibly hopeful for the future. The staff are the best of the best and not only help your loved ones but, bring the family together to develop better tools to navigate a life of addiction. We love you Rose house

Don t let the front desk people deter you. The counselors are great. The doctor listens to you. They offer group therapy, some one on one counseling, and can help you with other support resources. You do need to have a level of patience when you enter, it s a methadone clinic off Colfax that is primarily self pay or Medicaid, set your expectations accordingly. I am inconsistent with my treatment and everyone beyond the front desk is still friendly to me, contrary to all the other reviews, the nurses are very nice. This clinic is absolutely not for everyone but once you know your way around and know what to expect, you can get some excellent treatment here. Tyler is an exceptionally intelligent and approachable counselor, they gained a superhero by hiring him. As I said, do not let the people working the front run you off or put you in a bad mood, you re just giving them what they want by leaving. Thank you to DRG for staying open and being caring. It makes the disease that is addiction so much more bearable being in a safe space, I hope we are all able to find safer coping mechanisms. Be nice to each other, you never know what the other the person is going through.

The VAs that mg husband has gone to; Austin, Loveland, Denver, and Caribou, Maine, have been great.I have been using VA for over a decade. Only thing I have had is a little difficulty with is getting my prescriptions correct. That problem has been rectified quickly by the staff. In the last few years I have had a brain bleed requiring emergency surgery.I was in a coma for about a month. During that time, I was also diagnosed with Leukemia.VA took care of everything. When I awoke, I was worried about how these very expensive medical procedures would be paid for.I understand that the medical staff is overwhelmed and I take that into consideration.Overall, my belief is that the VA healthcare system is living up to their promises.

From my patient intake 2 years ago I went from being a desperate, homeless, unemployed, unwanted and sickly addict to now being independent, hard working, trusted, loving boyfriend and healthy young adult . It's like I'm a totally different person now thanks to these guys . I'm not exaggerating when I say that this clinic saved my life. I had no hope for myself upon becoming a patient here. I honestly just joined because I was in severe withdrawal due to losing the only source I had for my drug of choice. I only intended to stay until I was able to find another source but thanks to my counselor I decided to try and take MMT seriously and that was one of the best decisions I've ever made in my life. I'm not saying that this was easy and I'm not saying that this will work for everyone. As for me, I've tried almost everything available to achieve sobriety (iNarcotics Anonymous, monitored detox, clonidine, suboxone etc.) but I was never able to stick to anything until I started Methadone Maintenance Treatment (MMT) at BHG. I even had a lot of problems with during my first few months and came really close to being discharged because of my behavior. You can't just enroll and magically become sober over 2 years, you really have to want to be sober and be willing to work with your counselor to identify the root causes of your addiction. Once you do this you will work with your counselor to find healthy ways to deal with whatever issues that lead you into addiction and once you've done that you can start to taper your dose down and eventually get off methadone .P.S. Don't listen to the negative reviews some people have left here. These are the people that will constantly break the rules, throw temper tantrums when they are confronted about it and verbally abuse the staff if they don't get their way . The staff here is AMAZING! They are always going above and beyond for the patients that are serious about achieving soberiety and they will always treat you with respect and kindness as long as you do they same . The staff is very understanding and they are always willing to give you so many chances if you screw up because they know that addiction is a difficult thing to deal with and that some laws governing MMT can be very frustrating .

Through changes within my life she helps me stay calm and think through how I am feeling and action I want to take with certain big decisions in school and in day to day activities. She s shown to understand my sensitivity and love for arts and crafts, along with thoughtful conversations. Kate is helping me through a very transitional and challenging time in my life, even though I only see her once a month for about an hour she s shown to be very helpful to me long term. I highly recommend women s health center if you are looking for a friendly, flexible, and affordable therapist.Thank you!

I had a really positive experience here during my stay for detox. The staff was extremely considerate and kind, especially considering how intensely some individuals need care, making sure I felt safe. I won't go into specifics, but they sprang to action to switch rooms for me when I needed. The food was plenty and nutritious. Pretty great over all! I had access to plenty of resources. I want to commend Lexi Bernard for helping me find this place and organizing after care with CARS rehabilitation. She really took care of all the footwork for me so I didn't have to worry about making the wrong decision when I needed to clear my head and get help. She even followed up to make sure I had the resources to sober living houses when I needed help the most. She is a great asset and the reason I'm leaving a five star review. Thanks for helping me get my life back, Lexi!

Honestly, Pontiac was the best mental health center I went to--it let you have some freedoms, and the staff there were kind, considerate, and understanding. Of course don't plan a trip to stay here, but if you do end up coming here, it's not the worst place you could be at.
