Jessica has been an absolute Godsend to my son and I. I was desperate for help for my son and I was completely lost on how to help him. She is incredibly caring, authentic, a genius in her field and truly an incredible doctor. It is so hard to find someone who truly listens and cares. I highly recommend Jessica! When i first came to the facility i was in terrible shape, physically and mentally. I fought the treatment for weeks before i saw that i was actually getting better. I would give zero stars if possible. I was referred to here for a DV class. I was very uneasy filling out the patient survey, asking extremely personal questions unrelated to why I am there before even meeting anyone in person. Next, they require you to pay 240 dollars for an evaluation from two therapist. In my case both were men. These questions ranged from what had happened the day of the incident? (okay makes sense) to asking if you had been abused or raped. Now I have not, however being a woman, if I had suffered from that I don't think two men asking you on a zoom call you met 10 minutes ago would make me feel very comfortable or forthcoming. That is something you share after building a relationship with a trusted therapist. After this evaluation they give you rating that decides what your treatment will be. In my case this is my first time in trouble, no history of violence or anger, no abuse, no drug or alcohol problems, never been in a fight in my life no assaults. I even took a 16-hour DV class prior to this to get a good understanding of the situation. (when I brought this up they said it would not count for any credit without even asking which course it was) To my surprise they put me at level C (the most extreme) telling me I would need 2 classes per week in person plus therapy. Conveniently for them each class is 35 dollars. They then went on to tell me the class times are at 2:45PM and 5PM. I work in an office setting from 9-5. I explained I do not own a car. Yes, I have a license and use my bfs car sometimes but it is not mine. He also works to 5PM as does most of America. They told me this needs to be my priority which I understand but I don't think my boss will be okay with me leaving work early twice a week for what could be up to 9 months according to level C. I called, emailed, left voicemails to discuss the schedule and reasoning on the evaluation the but the response I got was not to contact them two ways. They went ahead and enrolled me in classes. This all seemed so wrong I was uncomfortable with everything from the start and now the lack of cooperation with my work schedule. You would assume being that you need a job during probation they would offer a class after typical work hours and not jeopardize your livelihood.. so after reading these horrible reviews here and on Yelp I went and saw my probation officer in person and called my attorney. They were as surprised as I was with treatment plan and with the questions, I had been asked. My PO told me she would allow me to change facilities and would get a second evaluation done for me at another facility, one that offers virtual classes because the last thing I should stress over is losing my job after going through a situation that is already hard on your finances. I truly feel you are taking advantage of people in-between a rock and a hard place with such high prices. It is clear your objective is making money off of vulnerable people who just want to do the work to put this behind them, and no interest in actually helping them. If anyone else reading this has experienced this, I suggest you talk to your PO or attorney. It felt as if they are setting you up to fail. Telling you that you cannot miss more than 3 classes not 2 in a row but not offering evening times. Very disappointed all around. **Update** When I questioned Phillipe's placement in Level C and did not agree with it he said: "You may find DVOMB provider who will score this differently, but I suspect not." Well, I did find a provider who had some consideration and empathy to the fact it was an isolated incident, and did not try and put me in 2 separate classes a week plus a one on one with a therapist for nearly a year to make more money off of me. So, to any other person experiencing this with this facility, I would highly suggest speaking with your PO and looking for other options.

Came in during a time of heavy mental distress. Made it clear I was looking for inpatient and had a conversation with a guy (I think his name was brandon) for an hour, only to be told there are no beds and was told that I should learn to deal with my problems instead of running away from them. I was then offered outpatient services and when I refused the guy basically wouldnt let me leave so I basically had to just walk out. He then spoke poorly about me to my father. They also go through your personal belongings when you put it in the locker! During our conversation he mentioned my medicaid card, I never brought up medicaid, how did he know? He went in my shit.

These people are just another part of the system that is a business, forcing innocent people to take plea deals to stay in the system and have to pay fees and charges. My probation officer recommended these people because they will see me the fastest but honestly it's not worth the risk. If it wasn't for the prosecutor actually knowing I was innocent based off the facts I would have had to risk a trial. The interviewer lied to me, saying she agreed with me and my side of what happened reflected the facts and still gave me a negative report. Do not put your fate in these people's hands.

Much has changed in the Clinic in the past 6 months or so, especially an increase in medical professionals and the overall quality of care. Also, the staff are employees of "Primary Care Solutions" (home-based in Dallas, TX) and not the VA, so they are probably less vulnerable to the personnel cuts and service disruptions that the VA is experiencing. Finally, I find the staff at the clinic to be as as caring and competent as the VA employees at the Albuquerque Regional VA Hospital.

When I first came to Peaks, I was broken, depressed, hopeless, and completely lost. I truly didn’t believe things could get better. But my experience at Peaks changed my life in ways I never could’ve imagined. From the moment I arrived, I was surrounded by a community of supportive, caring people who genuinely wanted to see me grow. I built friendships and connections that will last a lifetime, with people who stood by me through every high and low of my recovery journey. The groups and therapists were absolutely incredible, I learned more here than I ever have in any other program. The structure at Peaks helped me build consistency, confidence, and real progress. The staff went above and beyond every single day, they truly cared about us as people, not just clients. Even the food was amazing (shoutout to the chefs, you made every meal feel special!). The activities were another huge part of my healing, basketball, pickleball, volleyball courts right on property, yoga, art supplies, gym equipment, hikes twice a week, church, Recovery Dharma, and so much more. There was always something positive and grounding to be a part of. I am endlessly grateful for my time at Peaks Recovery. This program gave me my life back and gave me the tools, support, and hope I needed to keep moving forward. Thank you to everyone who made my experience so meaningful and life-changing. ❤️

I found Sandstone to be a small, personalized and compassionate detox and recovery facility. The staff there treated me with knowledge, respect and kindness. I was struggling with a decade of dependence on Rx meds, including Xanax, accompanied with severe alcohol abuse. My detox was brutal and only possible due to the compassionate care of Savannah and the rest of the medical staff. Following detox, the group therapy and counselling were essential to my recovery (thanks Caleb, Jill, Mariah, Alexia , along with the other residents who shared their lives). And there's a gentle soul named Tyler who embodies all that's good in this crazy world.

I’ve checked into Sandstone a few times (😬🫣), most recently in August of this year, so it’s about time I left a review. I am very familiar with their program, I know most of the staff, and they know me 😅. I always recommend Sandstone to anyone who needs inpatient care. The team of staff, has always treated me with kindness there. It has meant the world to me, as they’ve seen me in some of my lowest moment's. They are patient, caring and competent. The facilities are nice, with TVs in the rooms and an outdoor space with a basketball hoop. There is always an abundance of snacks, Gatorade and Ginger Ale while you’re detoxing. The environment is very homey and the small size allows for great individual care, unlike some other facilities where you get lost in the crowd. I’m so grateful for this place and the people inside it ♥️ If you need the help, you’re in great hands at Sandstone.

I had an amazing experience at Healing Pines as a guy in my mid-twenties. All of the staff cares a lot about the clients’ well-being and they had an extremely positive impact on my mental health. There was a great mix of healthy activities and productive groups that allowed me to grow and set me up for success. I have nothing but good things to say about Healing Pines Recovery and I would recommend it to anyone no matter the age!

I can not say enough about how the team at Healing Pines saves lives and heals participants. My son spent 30 days at healing pines and returned as a sober, calm, insightful person able to converse in a healthy way. My son felt like he had taken sunglasses off and could now see light and joy in life. Paul, Cathy and all the counselors are amazing people who truly have a passion for helping the men in the program while they are onsite and after they return to their lives. Healing Pines is a place of hope, healing and changing lives. I am forever grateful ♥️

WOW!!! > Healing Pines Recovery is truly something special. I’ve been through other programs before, but nothing compares to the level of care, knowledge, and compassion I experienced here. From day one, I felt like more than just another client — I was part of a small, supportive community where every person, staff and client alike, genuinely cares about your recovery. Because of the small client number, there’s so much one-on-one time with counselors and staff. Each team member is incredibly knowledgeable in all aspects of recovery — many have walked this path themselves, which makes their insight and empathy feel real and grounded. The program isn’t “one size fits all” — it’s completely tailored to you, blending clinical therapy, spiritual work, and 12-step approaches in whatever way fits your journey best. The property itself is breathtaking — 40 acres of peace, with trails that feel designed for sunrises and sunsets. The living spaces are comfortable and spacious, and you never feel cramped or overlooked. And then there are the animals — three miniature donkeys (Kiwi, Andy, and Quill!) who are genuinely therapeutic and always seem to know when you need a moment of quiet connection. Plus, a few amazing dogs and cats that add a comforting sense of home. The curriculum is top-notch — both challenging and deeply healing. I especially loved the weekly music and art therapy sessions that gave us a creative way to process the tougher parts of recovery. Physical fitness is also a big focus here — we went to the gym five days a week, and Zach helped design personalized workout plans to rebuild strength and confidence. On top of that, there’s an indoor and outdoor pickleball court (yes, two!) and even a frisbee golf course, which we used for group therapy. There’s something powerful about talking through life while throwing a frisbee under the Colorado sky. Evenings often ended with fireside chats — open, judgment-free conversations where we could just be ourselves, laugh, and remember what real connection feels like. For me, those moments redefined what it means to have fun and feel safe in sobriety. What really sets Healing Pines apart, though, is the staff. Paul, the founder, has built an incredible team of people who radiate love, knowledge, and kindness. You can tell they’re here for the right reasons — their dedication and selflessness shine through in everything they do. Healing Pines Recovery changed my life. If you’re questioning whether it’s the right fit for you, it probably is. Give Paul a call — and if you need to talk to someone who’s been there, tell him to pass along my number. This place is pure magic, and I’ll be forever grateful for what it gave me. 100/10!

An important part of the healing journey out of addiction can be finding new ways to experience joy and fulfillment in your life so your sobriety doesn’t leave a hole that you used to fill with drugs and alcohol. That’s the benefit of Banyan Castle Rock in Castle Rock, Colorado. An essential part of the recovery journey is discovering new ways
They have tvs in every room and good food. Lots of smoke breaks and they have a good medication management for symptoms. I would highly recommend them to anyone wanting a painless detox

This is a good place to work. We’ve had some turn over, yes, but the staff I have been working with for the last 8 months is very caring and all of us work hard to ensure proper patient care and safety. Most of the patients have a very positive experience here. I am proud of our nurses, and we all respect one another. I have not heard of anyone talking badly about anyone who works here. Every place has their challenges as I have worked at a few addiction treatment centers, and Banyan is one of the best places to work. I am responding to an inaccurate review that was left on here by a scorned nurse who was let go for being confrontational with a patient, and it was so unprofessional and incorrect. We have never had lice or bed bugs and that’s 100% a lie left on here by one nurse. I have referred other nurses and they’ve all been happy to be here.
