I dont know if people are trolling with their reviews of the Rockford Center, but my time there was, I would say was as good as it could get. I think most people who end up there are either put there against their will, or their family has a hand in them being there which would explain all the negative feedback. So in light of that info I would be the complete opposite to those reviews. Everything you could potentially judge was above average on all fronts. Food, staff, medication distro, group meetings, and individual case handling by social workers was what i expected, then some. I was surprised that they even have a more staunch approach to handling tobacco use. There is no tobacco use period. Nicotine patches and lozenges are supported and supported well. Im.a smoker and I didn't have any issues at all not smoking. The one thing I would say was negative was the abundance of food! Some may say its not a negative, but its the one thing you can abuse for sure. Just make sure you dont let it

I have been in the mud for some time now I've been thu the process and have scene so oh so many so called counselors some court ordered others by choice. ( not just limited to counselor but any of the person's tied to "The process," and or program..I have been raked over coals and have been mislead. Truthfully I was young and didn't realize it was about the money, insurance billing.... statistics..... Not to say all others or most truly are there to help.... I couldn't tell... I painfully have to admit they are very well not worth the air they breath.... I hope they have changed or some way some how have God forsaken made a change in someone lives that was useful......all that above mentioned for this..) to appreciate a very special and wonderful counselor..Sonya... Never and I mean never have I personally had the opportunity given to me now to be her client..... It's a blessing and to truly see someone who has perfected there craft or profession to the point that she has....In this game it's so hard to connect on a equal playing field and to see some one who truly cares and I mean this counselor will walk thu hell and lead you out just follow her lead....If you have the blessing and it is to be her client your gonna get what you put in... Nothing more nor less and I promise you that.. if only the world really knew what I know you would go crawling to her feet begging to be her client.....

It's all about following the rules and keeping your cool. All of the negative reviews talking about not caring about anything but money... they are most likely not following the guidelines and rules for the program. If you cuss out the nursing staff because you're I withdrawal, don't expect great service. Do the program as your supposed to -- and you won't have any problems. I've had two counselors over 5 years. Haven't touched an opiate, but rely on this service. I feel safe here. Yes, improvements are needed. More counselors, less stringent cannabis rules like most clinics would improve my experience. Anyway, thumbs up. Saved my life.

As a Veteran myself who recognizes privacy issues, I can't share names, but a family member has been staying here. Despite the poor rating of this VA Facility, he states that his treatment has been consistent, the staff has been friendly, and the other patients get along well with no drama. What's sad is that so many veterans have no idea that this hospital is available for the treatment of PTSD, Drug/Alcohol Addiction, Bi-Polar Disease, Anxiety and more - for FREE. Meetings are available daily, and in addition to psychological assistance, medical physicians are available too. The hospital is spotless, you can choose the food you'd like to eat for 3 meals a day, and it tastes 😋 good. TVs 📺 aren't in the room, but they are in the Dayroom, along with pool tables, etc. It's even open to Veterans from other states. Sometimes it's difficult to admit the need for help, but hopefully, someone will take the time to read this and reach out.

I love this VA Center. The staff are excellent! The Physician assigned to me is great. Whenever I have a medical problem, I get an appointment at a reasonable time and they listen to the symptoms I have and do a great job getting to the route cause. The amount of time it takes for labs, x-rays, and MRIs is phenomenal. Words cannot express how thankful I am for their service.

Manor of Hope changed our son's life. He had been to many programs before, but this is the place where our son truly started to thrive. What's different about MoH? First, it's a true therapeutic community. Steve and the rest of the remarkable staff got to know our son as an individual. They were able to tell us things about our son (including his strengths and specific challenges) that no other program had figured out. Second, it's long-term - our son graduated from the program and is currently in the graduate housing, still eating meals, working out, going to campfire/Dharma meetings, and participating in activities with fellow community members a year and a half later. Finally, it's individualized. Whenever we have a question, Steve is on the phone or meeting in person with us, helping us figure out how best to guide our son as he figures out next steps.

The Manor has thoughtful staff and a comprehensive mental health treatment program utilizing groups and counselors along with outside psychiatrists and therapists. I grew a lot over the two years I spent in the program with time spent at their main house and a graduate house. Manor of Hope also addresses drug and alcohol abuse along with other addictions. As a final note, I would recommend Chef Andrew and counselors John and Scott.

Highly recommended!! In terms of age, my husband is not the typical Manor of Hope resident. My family thought he would be resistant to yet another sober living facility and we did not have much positivity. But in doing research and talking to the owner, we realized this is not “just another” sober living facility. The community is clean, cozy, and homey with beautiful surroundings. Steve is the owner and calls Manor of Hope a “therapeutic community.” We didn’t understand that term until visiting, but then it made sense. Every day is filled with not just meetings, meals and movie nights, but scheduled activities and workshops that are geared towards a successful long-term recovery. With barely a month under his belt at the Manor of Hope, I realize it is early, but compared to the many other places he has been in the past 20 years for addiction and mental illness, my husband is not asking to leave—he is content. He has become social, exercises, tries new things, and actively participates in activities that help build his self-esteem, expose him to other vocations, and teach him to develop a good mindset and self-care habits (like woodworking and culinary classes, resume building, volunteering in the community, and weight training)—and he is not given the option to say “no.” For the first time in years, he is starting to feel good about himself. He even has a positive outlook about maintaining sobriety and wellness. He's eating healthy, and really enjoying the food (and he is picky)! It’s so wonderful to see him positive, and he is smiling again! He has responsibilities, and is expected to be an active part of the living community. He is also taken to his medical appointments. Some residents have jobs and are taken to their jobs, too. Steve is present nearly every day—it was clear from our first time meeting him that MOH is his passion. He gets to know everyone as an individual, really bonds with them and takes an active part in their recovery. I am so grateful for and amazed with the experienced team of clinicians and medical providers that Steve has assembled for my husband’s treatment plan, and for the sense of safety and hope Manor of Hope has given our family. MOH is helping my husband learn to think and live differently without intimidation so that when he is deemed ready to leave, he has a strong support system and the best chance at continuing to beat this disease.

This place right here has changed my life. It has brought me closer to my Higher Power, instilled a level of trust, dignity, love, and respect for myself and for others. It has truly showed me how to live in a program of recovery and how to incorporate the 12 steps into my daily everyday life. This house and its members have saved my life. Without this house I don't believe that I would be alive to this day. I knew that I made the right decision by coming to this program, trying to give myself the best possible option to change and redirect my path from the moment I walked in the door. I was met with open arms and love like I had not felt in many a years. I think the best part about it was that my Mom and family members didn't have to worry anymore about the nature of my well being. Whether I was alive, dead in jail or on the streets. They give you the tools that are needed to begin to have a successful purpose driven life. The staff are more then just that they are family. That's what we are here at Limen House. FAMILY.... From ALUMNI to Residents, staff to board members and directors we all share a common bond, Love, and Respect for one another. Because we all have the same passion and goals and that is to do whatever it takes to help one another recover from this disease and for that I WILL BREATH: ETERNALLY GRATEFUL AND AVAILABLE TO MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS WHO MAY COME AND WHO MAY STAY FROM A WEEK TO A MONTH TO A YEAR; BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY JUST FOR TODAY....

When looking for treatment I went into it completely blindly and had no idea what to expect or anticipate. I am so happy and grateful I found and chose Pinelands. The entire staff from intake, to the tech and therapists were absolutely amazing. You could tell they truly cared and were there for any help that was needed. A majority of their staff is also in recovery which I feel like helped a lot because they had previously been through this as well. Their alumni program and app is awesome in keeping involved and connected once you leave. I just celebrated 4 months sober and I cannot remember the last time I was this truly happy and healthy in life. I just finished my summer semester with As after deciding to go back to college, have spent quality time making some great memories with family and friends and have found some new hobbies I absolutely love. I would never have accomplished all this without Pinelands. If you’re looking for help, this is by far one of the best places to go.
