This place have saved my life. First I want to the staff is extremely extremely nice and helpful. They also take a few insurance, so if you have insurance just ask if they take. It I've been coming here 4 years and I can't believe that I don't use anymore! Me, my family, friends and peers are all happy for me and really supportive. They also offered me a grant so I don't have to pay for my co-oay which normally 45.00 a week. The counselors are very polite and non-judgmental. I can't thank this staff enough and how much they mean have good they are to me.. Thank you Claymont treatment Center And Tiffany me and my gmily a lot too. Thank you all of you.

They say that if the idea of a project or a journey intimidates you, you should break it into smaller tasks and do the easy ones first. The problem with addiction recovery is that the first step, detox, is the steepest hill of the journey. That’s why The Haven Detox is here: to level out that hill and give your recovery a smoother, more comfortab

I walked into this place at my absolute lowest, fully convinced I wouldn’t make it another week if something didn’t change. From the moment I arrived, the staff treated me with a level of care, patience, and compassion I didn’t even think I deserved. They didn’t just help me detox — they helped me believe in myself again. They gave me the tools, the strength, and the support to rebuild my life. I’m sober today because of them, and I wake up grateful every single morning.

I spent a little over a month there. It wasn't under the best circumstances, and I was scared, nervous, and unsure about everything that was happening to me. Everyone that I dealt with there was incredibly kind, sympathetic, helpful, reassuring, and professional. Today's marks my 4 year sober anniversary and it all started with Seabrook. I went when COVID was everywhere and unfortunately after a week about half of the staff was out due to testing positive. Even with half of the staff gone, the rest of the staff did everything and anything they could to help those who truly accepted it. You're able to see people from all walks of life, different backgrounds and of all ages struggle to find peace within themselves and know you're not alone. The speakers who come are extremely powerful with their raw true stories about addiction BUT also more importantly about how they're recovering and kept fighting for themselves. I had no idea what to expect when I went as it was my first time getting help and even acknowledging I needed it. Going to Seabrook and getting sober was the absolute best thing I ever did for myself. Life can be hard but it's not attacking you personally. Once you start to heal yourself, you see more of the beauty in the world and in people. There's way and I mean way more good people than bad. They want to see you succeed and just be happy. Those people are everywhere and once you clear the fog(drugs) from your mind and body you will find them. You then become those who helped you and you get to help others just by staying sober and showing it can happen. I know you guys will be open once again to help those who need it. I have so much love for all of you and thank you for never giving up on us even when it's hard. I am a recovering alcoholic and today I have 4 years sober. I have a new career, an amazing fiance and my life is just beginning. Never give up and know you're not alone. Zoom meetings are 24/7 and they're tons of communities online. You got this! 😀❤️

The Manor has thoughtful staff and a comprehensive mental health treatment program utilizing groups and counselors along with outside psychiatrists and therapists. I grew a lot over the two years I spent in the program with time spent at their main house and a graduate house. Manor of Hope also addresses drug and alcohol abuse along with other addictions. As a final note, I would recommend Chef Andrew and counselors John and Scott.

My son recently completed a 12-month treatment program at the Manor of Hope and his recovery from substance use issues is nothing short of miraculous due largely in part to the care he received at the Manor from Steve Killelea and his staff of highly skilled counselors. Every parent's nightmare is watching your kid battle the demons that mental illness and drugs unleash on them. Long care treatment facilities like the Manor work better to treat addiction than the short-term, for-profit institutions that fail more often than not to help those suffering from these illnesses. My current relationship with my son is night and day as Steve has helped to guide him into adulthood. Steve not only helped my son but counseled my wife and I on how to deal with my boy as he transitions back to family life. I am profoundly grateful and thankful to have crossed paths with Steve and the Manor of Hope and highly recommend the long-term care and treatment programs that the Manor can offer to those suffering from addiction and mental illness.

The Manor of Hope is making a huge difference in our son’s life. We were desperate and needed help for our son, who is on the autistic spectrum. Steve took our son under his wing, and now he is learning how to live independently, slowly but surely. We did not think an independent life would be possible for him. Steve and our son’s mentor, along with the other staff are teaching him skills that will last a lifetime. He recently was hired for a part-time job and is enrolled in a college course. The professionals that Steve have connected our son with, such as his psychiatrist and therapist, are excellent. The Manor of Hope has so many opportunities. Our son is learning how to cook through a weekly culinary class. He is taking care of a garden, and has a personal trainer and is working out on a regular basis He is always busy which is great for him. He also has structure. They take him on day trips and excursions. Our son is enjoying life and is happy. We are so thankful we have found Steve and the Manor of Hope. We were at the end of a very dark path and didn’t know where to turn. Our son’s life is now full, and he is growing and maturing every day. He is respectful towards us and is learning boundaries. All things we couldn’t have achieved when he was home. He needs the Manor of Hope and he is also grateful for his time there.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Two Therapists Who Helped Me Rebuild My Life: Marisela Hurtado (IOP) & Jiahao R. (PHP) When I first entered treatment, I was in one of the darkest and most fragile places I’d ever been. I was battling severe depression, overwhelming anxiety, constant panic attacks, and I could barely sleep two hours a night. Even moving around, taking showers or getting through the day without crying felt impossible. I was exhausted, scared, and losing hope. Then I met Marisela Hurtado in IOP and Jiahao R. in PHP—two people who became lifelines when I needed them most. They each played a powerful role in my healing. With a level of compassion and patience that was truly extraordinary, they created safe, steady spaces where I could finally open up about everything I was carrying. They listened to me, supported me, and guided me through emotions I didn’t even know how to express. They helped me feel seen, understood, and never once judged me for the weight I was under. Marisela and Jiahao didn’t just give me tools—they gave me hope. Marisela will treat and care for you like you are her family. They helped me work through my panic attacks, manage my anxiety, and slowly rebuild my strength. Their kindness, dedication, and belief in me were exactly what I needed during a time when I didn’t believe in myself at all. Because of their care, I’m sleeping better. My mind feels clearer. My anxiety is more manageable. I’m moving through life again instead of just surviving it. Marisela Hurtado and Jiahao R. are the second kind—exceptional, compassionate, and deeply committed to helping people heal. They are changes the lives of people in a positive way.

I avoided group therapy for so long, but I am so glad I did. It was a safe place for me to go when I really wanted to isolate. I was worried I wouldn’t be able to relate to others, but I always found some connection that helped me not feel so alone. Marisela is the best! She has a great sense of humor, is so supportive, and there is no fake or toxic positivity with her. Mari also helped connect us with resources, which can feel so daunting when you are in the thick of it. If you are considering group, do it!

In the past, some people viewed conditions like drug or alcohol addiction as a character failing. The stigma of addiction created a perception that individuals with substance use disorders were mentally weak or immoral. These created a sense of shame for individuals who struggled with the disease. If you’re seeking a solid recovery partner you should visit PACE. The treatment providers are top notch with decades of experience. They are compassionate, hold you to program and most importantly, hold you accountable for your recovery. You cannot succeed without yourself. They use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), addiction treatment counseling therapy, trauma-related counseling, rational emotive behavioral therapy, 12-Step based treatment approach, brief intervention approach, motivational interviewing, counseling for anger management and relapse prevention planning. That’s all I know. Millions of Americans suffer from addiction. Yet, many people are unaware that addiction is a disease. One of the best methods for treating this disease is through a well-organized treatment program – PACE is. There are many therapies and treatment plans, and PACE’s successful SUD treatment programs follow best practice industry principles. They're located right on Kirkwood Highway with a bus stop in front. P.S. I've read the negative reviews and have never had experiences like those described, nor has staff ever acted inappropriately.

Pace,Lauren and my saviorBridgette have helped me to rid the shackles of addiction. I was a slave to addiction of all sorts not just drugs and alcohol for 40 plus years. I look in the mirror today and for the first time in my life and I see a righteousness man who finally loves who I am and found a life never thought possible. I walk around every day higher then I've ever been and it's all natural. They told me not to quit before the miracle and I said what possible miracle,I now know what they meant..Thanks for never giving up on me and showing me unconditional love.....Much love always! The scars of my past may dictate who I am but in no way do they have to dictate my journey nor my destination!!!!!!!

Great program that maintains daily contact with all individuals even on weekends, if necessary. This approach serves as a preventative measure that helps resolve barriers to access of care.
