I needed to reconnect with a psychiatrist in the state to update my medication/mix. The experience has been awesome and my previous Rx had definitely run its course. This place saved my life. When I got here I couldn't walk I couldn't talk I didn't even know who I was anymore let alone anything else. They pushed me to get better.i was initially so angry I just wanted to go home but they made me live again. I'm so grateful for the nurses, the doctors, the therapist and even the people that prepared our meals. I feel better than I've felt in years. I'm so happy and thankful for my time at Willowbrooke. I wouldn't change a thing.

My brother is currently an inpatient here, he's set to discharge soon. The nurses have been so great with updating us everyday. He's able to call us everyday as well, and we can set video calls. He states that the nurses have treated well, and they have group session and they even have a gym where he says he works out. We've def seen improvement so thank you to the nurses for being so kind and working with us.

My fiancé currently does not have insurance and is unemployed at this time. I called Pathways on Monday and asked if they saw patients without insurance and the girl, her name was Ashley I believe, was very helpful and let me know that they do see patients without insurance and walked me through how to get him in. We went to the Department of Labor on Monday and got his income verification, then went to Pathways Tuesday morning early as a walk-in because that’s what you have to do to be seen for free. We got lucky and he was seen within 30 minutes of getting there! Every person that works there was pleasant and friendly. The staff at the front were friendly to every patient that came in, and they actually seemed to enjoy their jobs, and truly care about making sure patients got the help they need. I heard them communicate with people over the phone as well, and they were friendly and helpful. I have a lot of experience with doctor’s offices, and worked in many myself, and it is refreshing to be greeted by friendly, helpful, non- judgmental staff. Thank you SO much for your help today, you have no idea how much it means to me personally, but to my fiancé as well. 🙏🏻

This was my first time using the VA for medical and it was a pleasant experience. I requested an appointment online and was called a couple of days later to confirm the date and time. It is easy to find and there is plenty of parking. The front secretary wasn’t exactly warm, but otherwise everyone was very friendly. Dr. Bigoms and the staff at the eye clinic took their time with me and made me feel like I mattered. That doesn’t happen often in healthcare anymore, unfortunately.

We have been with Tanner for 3 years now and have been through our fair shares of different staff members in that short time. The only and I mean only staff member that I have always been able to count on is Maggie Norton at the Carrollton location. Shes been able to help even when we were being seen at a different location due to the ma's at that location not answering or returning phone calls. Highly, highly recommend Ms. Maggie!! I want people to understand something important about the program. When you complete it and leave, the medications they use as “crutches” (like SSRIs) are not designed to be permanent solutions — but they don’t really prepare you for what happens when you try to come off them.
In my case, when I finished the program, I was left with nothing but “good luck.” No tapering support, no real plan, no follow-up guidance. The withdrawal from SSRI medication was a horrific experience, and I had to seek out a separate doctor on my own afterward just to cope.
People should know going in: the program does provide structure and tools while you’re there, but the aftercare is lacking, especially around medication dependence. Be ready to advocate for yourself and find outside medical support when you leave.

This place was more comfortable to me than home when I had issues with alcohol intake, the staffs are more than welcoming, their ways of addressing your issues are just topnotch. I really can't refer to a particular staff cos they're all the same, one common interest, to give help to those that need it.
Group meetings were just amazing, I found out I started being bold because of them, today am a completely different person from who I used to be, thanks to this place.
I strongly recommend this place anyone who truly seek any kind of mental health treatment.
I have them on my mind always.

I had an excellent experience at Atlanta Detox Center and truly cannot say enough about the quality of care I received. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and supported. The staff treated everyone with genuine care and respect, which made a difficult process so much easier to go through.
The classes and group sessions were extremely beneficial in getting newly sober as well.
I want to give a special shout-out to my case manager, Christian. He went above and beyond for me—helping with my FMLA paperwork, answering all of my questions, and always showing patience and understanding throughout the process. Having someone so attentive really made a difference.
I also want to recognize the behavioral health techs. They were consistently kind, caring, and helpful towards all clients, and it showed that they truly care about the people they work with.
Overall, Atlanta Detox Center made a challenging step in my life feel achievable and supported.

I started going to the methadone clinic after my daughter was born. I have never been arrested and I figured it would be really hard to be a dad while in active addiction. That was in 2001. I've moved around to different places, Gadsden, Trussville, Tuscaloosa and others. I really loved the people in Tuscaloosa and hated leaving. I had to return to the Oxford area, to help with my mom who was terminal with cancer. When I transferred back to Oxford they were great. I loved the staff. At one point they were down to a skeleton crew, they did the best they could at the time with what they had. They have gotten more staff now and they are wonderful. I don't feel like my number so much. Yes, they are strict on the rules but look at what they deal with. I can manipulate just about anyone as an active addict. We all have that power. My whole life I've heard horror stories about the VA. The last 2.5 years we have lived with my dad to take care of him. I have nothing but great things to say about the Oxford VA and the nationwide VA pharmacy. They take great care of my dad and are VERY thorough with his care. The nurses treat him like gold and flirt with him, which he loves. They provide almost anything he needs: some of his prescriptions, a hospital bed, liquid thickener, oxygen tank, eye services, psychiatric services, etc. Any time I have had to call they have been sooooo polite and helpful. Same with the pharmacy. I forgot to re-order one of my dad's prescriptions and they got it to me by the NEXT day. The VA isn't perfect, but I feel like they really care about their veterans and their health.

I have nothing but good things to say about this VA Clinic location. The staff are friendly, helpful and service is always very professional and prompt. I enjoyed meeting Dr Coker today. He is friendly, kind and listens to what you have to say. I transferred my care here from that train wreck Rainbow City location. MUCH happier here!

Friendly and helpful staff, excellent lab techs. The Nurses are Professional and throught with their screenings and will answer any and all questions they can. The Dr's are OK when you can keep on long enough to get to know them.😁

There's a new intake "counselor" (MSW certified) that did a fantastic job. Keep it up girl. Everyone else has made the experience pleasant. We appreciate it. Also my secondary visit was great.

Just left today after 30 day program..the staff were incredible and I learned alot about addiction and the long road to my recovery. Great food, medical staff and management....O.G and all. Mr Lawrence was my favorite group and got alot out of the way he actually interacted and genuinely poured heart into his groups...thank you ADC. Ready to start new life again

Ft. Mac offers a lot of services to us veterans and dependents. I wished they had natural medicine doctors instead of the ones the only thing they're taught to do is issue pills for everything.
They have excellent therapy services they saved me in my time of crisis!! Thank you, Dr. Williams and Ms. Barbara Smith, for my sanity, I couldn't have done it without either of you and your staff!!

I want to say how positive my experience at RMC was. My husband had to have a pace maker put in unexpectedly. Dr. Kameron and all the nurses and staff on 3rd floor were amazing. They were attentive, caring, and present the whole time we were there. I can’t say enough good things about this experience. I will forever be grateful for the good care my husband received. I am so thankful we have RMC in our region.

This AMAZING place is honestly the best of all, hands down.
From the doctor, director Jennifer, miss Holly amazing nurses especially Yolanda, and many more especially when you are recovering in recovery the amazing counselor's , such as sweet, caring, and supportive while REALLY LISTENING AND KEEPING IT REAL and making you feel comfortable and in a safe place is just a big perk in recovery. Counselor/therapist Ames. Adrienne has really helped me with so much.
But I do want anyone who is reading this that knows someone or if you are struggling with addiction and ready to live a good life if you are scared to do it cold turkey or don't have the support or financial to pay for rehab or detox and all that this is the best place to do it and recovery can happen in all different forms cold turkey clinics Suboxone and it doesn't matter what you do as long as you do it and make a difference in your life and better yourself but this is the place to go and is a great option if you're open to it and ready to do it just make sure you're open ready and you want it and I encourage you that this clinic is the clinic for you or anyone if you know anyone struggling .
