I can tell you as someone whom has had great success in their own recovery. From Residential, to PHP, and IOP. Much of that success can be attributed not to just any one individual here at RTC. My experience was supported/elevated from and by RTC as a whole. The techs, are efficient, and always give their best, no matter the obstacle. Their facilitators are knowledgeable, well educated and informed on the many topics they teach; leading to genuinely great growth outcomes. The therapist on staff, are some of the best I've personally have had the honor to work with. They are among the many kind, caring, and dedicated individuals at RTC. I can also speak to the keen dedicated effort of management. As when an issue arose during my time in their residential program, the Executive Outreach Cordinator, Chris Lynch; as well as the rest of the team at RTC. Responded and addressed the issue with swift, efficient resolution. They say you'll get what you put into your recovery. This is very, very true. So if you give your recovery your all; Recovery First Treament Center will meet where you are at, and match your efforts.

I visited this office on July 31 as a walk-in patient not realizing that they do not have a walk-in clinic however they did see me and were absolutely terrific thorough and sympathetic. The worst expense that I have ever had was to drop my son off to strangers. My child was lost, he was going in the direction of obesity, and he did not value his life. I met Miss Hampton. It was to be Travis therapist. She assured me that they would take real good care of Travis and his needs. Over the period of 6 months, I was taught through experience that my parenting skills needed to be changed. During the session between their staff and me and my significant other, we develop a future strategy in dealing with our dysfunctional child. For someone that was always wanting to run away, did not want to listen to instructions, and very unhappy with living with us, his future had been transformed. A 12-year-old was changed. Miss Hampton, made me realize that there is no such thing as being a perfect parent. I needed to open up my perception. I needed to change. In my heart, I know it was my behavior that also created a trigger in Travis behavior. By talking to Travis and his therapist, together she made me realize that. I agreed to work with the staff and there was a complete transition of change in all of our lives. What I respect and what I like the most is the truthfulness of his therapist to not back down. She was facing a parent such as myself that thought that I didn't need any advice at being a parent. It was an Awakening experience to find someone that was not too concerned with my reactions but the person was willing to be honest and tell me that maybe I need to change things as a parent. While my son was getting treatment, I took her advice and I started working on myself. She was explaining to me that I could be creating a trigger effect by some of my actions toward my son. I never looked at that possibility but I remained open to her suggestions. Each time that he went on pass, he was so happy to come home. This facility was not perfect but it created the perfect result for our family. I am not interested in my son liking the facility. I am only interested in the results. I noticed Travis put in a bad review on the facility but it is a place that no child should enjoy. We as parents want them to come home in a different spirit. Not to fall in love with their facility. Ironically, sometime it takes people as tough as nails. Travis therapist was very kind, but also she was stern enough to not allow me to make excuses. Change itself is the only permanent part of life. We are truly blessed for having placed our child in good hands. I would also like to personally thank Miss Hampton. She truly is a prodigy. It has been a month since Travis had left the facility. He used to hate going to school but now he is on a good track and his attitude is good when he wake up. Everybody at Travis School has noticed Travis new attitude and his physique and appearance. He appears to have the drive to succeed. As a parent I'm keeping my coping skills Ms Hampton had encouraged me to change. Each day, I have to remind myself that I was giving a second chance at making Travis life incredible.

I wish I could give more than 5 Stars!!! Our experience at Florida Palms Academy was truly incredible. From the very beginning, the entire team — therapists, staff, and psychiatrist — were amazing, kind, compassionate, and genuinely supportive. We always felt heard and respected, no matter what situation we were navigating. What meant the most to our family was how committed they were to working with us to find the very best outcomes for my son. They took the time to really understand our needs, our challenges, and our goals, and they never made us feel like just another case. Their thoughtful approach, patience, and dedication made a meaningful difference in our lives. Because of their care and professionalism, difficult moments became more manageable and positive progress felt possible. We are truly grateful for the impact Florida Palms Academy has had on our family and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a supportive, knowledgeable, and compassionate team.

I was there back when I was 14 years old met sum interesting people and saw sum new things at that time when it came down to restraining they would over manhandle the kids including me I once had my leg hyperextended couldn't walk right for at least a couple of weeks and once I was restrained to the point of blood spewing out of my mouth that I needed stitches and one staff and I actually had a hand to hand combat brawl all because I didn't wanna go to my roomq other than the lowkey abuse I endured there was also a light side to this youth mental health residency if u were on a good color u would be able to go on outings staff would bring u sum nice things and so much more there are activities kids can do but depends on the color I learned alot from the staff there (at the time I was there) Mr.Rob Mrs.Kelsey Mrs.stone Mr.willy Mr.Chris Mr.Ryan Mr.Drew Mr.Drew #2 Mr.Randy Mr.Tracy Lowkey one day I would like to go over there and share my story so the other kids can learn off of my experience💯now im a concierge build stages for crew 1 and also I am a MMA Fighter

Great Place. Great staff. Treatment consisted in group therapy and Individual therapy very effective. The center is small so the staff get to know you well. They become your second family. The Director, Lucy is very caring. Yamaira, Haidy, Dina they are all so genuine and they go above and beyond to help patients. I recommend this Center.

Dina at the front desk is a superstar! Very attentive and on top of her job responsibilities. I met with Dr. Baskin. She was good. She’s serious and asked a lot of questions. The whole staff overall are very attentive and polite. It’s hard to find places now of days with good quality staff members. I had a good experience. Cheers people!!

I love reflections. From Lucy to Deena to the amazing therapists and the phenomenal psychiatrists. Dr. Binder and Dr. baskin are amazing and considerate and patient. I recommend reflections to everyone I know. This has been an amazing experience for my children who were so troubled. The individual therapy and the group therapy has helped them so much!!!!! They are now doing so much better and I owe it all to Deena. She has been so much help to me and my children I can never thank them enough. I seriously recommend anyone who’s having trouble dealing with life or just wants to talk to someone, call reflections. They are the best. ♥️

I have so much to be thankful for this company and this process! I was one of those convinced that I didn’t need treatment, that I could do this all on my own. But I’d tried it my way too many times without success. Finally reaching out for help has been one of the best decisions of my life. The staff here are amazing! From the therapists, the BHT’s, case workers, everyone. And especially the LIV program. All of the activities like snorkeling, paddle boarding, and rock climbing to name a few really helped me to remember the person I used to be. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for help, can’t say enough good things about it.

Let me start by sharing that I had been using off and on (mostly on) for roughly 26 years my DOC. I sought help through a Facebook reel that I saw last fall in 2025. I did not go immediately because I still believed I could do it all on my own. So for the next 7 months this place/person would reach out to me either on my phone or by text. They would ask if I was ok and depending what day it was, I would respond with the number of days I was in recovery or the days I was in relapse. Eventually, I became more and more exhausted with this never-ending cycle. I hurt myself at work. I was so scared and afraid as to how the situation was going to end up. So I became extremely transparent with everyone that it was time for me to get help. I reached out to the people who had been touching base with me and said I was ready. I had actually even been afraid that it wasn’t a real place because it sounded too good to be true. Sunrise meditations on the beach, rock climbing, paddle boarding, nature walks paired with amazing therapists and behavioral health technicians. But it was just as good as they said, actually it was better. I am now in the second stage of the program. I’ll be 60 days clean in six days and this was the best decision I could’ve ever made for myself. All of the staff, all of the nurses, all of the nurse practitioners, doctors, therapist and the BHT’s are an amazing group of people. Especially their leadership who all have an open door policy! ♥️♥️ They make you feel loved immediately. And when they say they’ve got you, they actually sincerely mean they’ve got you. I don’t know about you, but I know that I had heard that many, many times in my life and it never was true. But here it’s different. I’m still on my journey to recovery, but I am very healthy in my journey of recovery and I don’t expect it to turn out any less than the way it’s been going so far which is positive and successful.

I can honestly say Transitions is the best recovery center I’ve ever been to. They are definitely not like other rehabs and I’ve been to many different places. What sets them different: there’s no judgement, you actually see your therapist, a psychiatrist, case management, and medical doctor 1-2 times a week, the groups are very beneficial and THEY TRULY CARE!! That’s by far the biggest thing. Staff all go out there way to care for us whether big or small. Housing is beautiful spacious apartments and weekends we do deep cleaning. Everyday there’s an outside meeting and H&I on property everyday but Sunday. Sundays we do outings as a community like the beach, top golf, or bowling. It’s a great way for us to all have fun at the end of the week. Shout out to the staff: Lori-Ann, Austin, Will, Maxime, Michael, Winnie, Summer, Tay Tay, Manny, Art, Dr. K, Jeff, Dr. Seely, Jennifer, and Shelly. Yall make this program worth being apart of. I would HIGHLY recommend joining this fellowship! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

There’s still so much misunderstanding, judgment, and stigma surrounding it and sometimes people are made to feel like their struggle defines who they are. You and your team looked past the hardest moments and you saw someone who was still worth helping, protecting and worth believing in.That kind of compassion cannot be measured by one act alone. That is the kind of compassion that can reach someone when they are at their lowest and remind them that they are still a person and loved and it gives them a reason to keep going. To every person at First Step Behavioral Health please know that our family noticed. To everyone that sometimes may feel forgotten. The individuals who brought her food, a warm blanket, cleaned up after her and then told her it was ok and reminded her she wasn’t alone. We noticed. We noticed the little things. We noticed the people who went out of their way to make her feel cared for when she couldn’t care for herself. We noticed the people who continued showing up even when the days were difficult. And most importantly we noticed the love. You may not realize how much those moments meant, but they meant everything to us. When we couldn’t be there. We had comfort, knowing that she was surrounded by people who genuinely cared for her and our family when we thought there was none. You and your team gave our family more memories when we thought there would be no more. You gave our family more laughter. More smiles, more time with our sister. I've been to a number of different treatment centers and I could not stand them, i didn't last long but I gave my sister my word that I would complete one so, I love music and figured at least I could sing and play guitar to deal with the same old b.s. and get through it. I was on my way to a grave for sure I was dealing with more then I could stand but I tried and was convinced it was just a matter of time and my suffering would come to a sad end. My sister gave me MJ's number someone that works for Recovery unplugged and not only was she kind n' cool she really cared so much that she stayed calling me into the late hours of the night i kept telling her i needed help and some how she got me to the detox in lake worth and rite away it was different i was blown away the staff the doctor's and therapy They have their are amazing.The meetings and groups are so heavy i don't know how but I was comfortable. The food and housing are awesome. The people there that I'm still with today at php are second to none believe me when I tell you I'm not an easy Person to deal with , but they put me at ease the caseworkers , everybody , I just can't say enough , this place gave me my music back and saved my life. thank you so much, I love you recovery unplugged.

I’m extremely grateful for the experience I had with this program. From the very beginning, they made the entire process as easy and stress-free as possible, including helping me with my flight and getting me set up at the right facility so I could be as comfortable and focused as possible. One thing that meant a lot to me was that they even took my dog in when I had nowhere else to put him. That took a huge weight off my shoulders and allowed me to focus on myself and getting my life back on track. I’m truly thankful for the staff, the support, and everything this program did for me. It gave me the opportunity to get my life moving in the right direction, and I’ll always appreciate that. I would absolutely recommend this program to anyone who is ready to make a change and get their life back on track.

Mental health wellness can feel overwhelming at times. We are so grateful we found AWA for our son. We sincerely appreciate the compassion, dedication, and support the entire team gave our family. Our son’s therapist was wonderful and worked with us weekly to help support and provide guidance to support our son with his anxiety. I’ve been at AWA for 7 months and a miracle it was, and at first you might hate it—you might not want to come. In my experience, I was hesitant, skeptical, and filled with anxiety because of my past experiences with mental health facilities. But AWA is different. It’s such a great clinic, and I’ve learned to love it here. The staff truly care about you and your family, and you’ll come to feel connected with the other clients. Some days you won’t want to go because it’s 20 hours a week and you might be tired, but if you engage and take your treatment seriously, you’ll find that coming every day is worth it. Yes, there is little to no drama, and even when it happens, no one holds a grudge for long because we’re always there for each other. Plus, they won’t leave you in the dark after treatment—they make sure you have a plan afterward. They also let clients be very involved in their treatment plans, and many of the rules can change if the majority of the group agrees. I also love how inclusive AWA is—from race, to gender, to sexuality. The staff will help and counsel you even if you’re crying in group. I know that sounds obvious, but the facility I used to be in didn’t do that. I remember crying in group and one of the facilitators pulled me out to counsel me, and when I was overstimulated, they gave me earplugs to help. At the end of my treatment, I would say AWA definitely helped heal me, and I would recommend it to anyone going through mental health problems it has been truly a blessing.

I spent 60 days as PHP and 30 days as IOP at this rehab facility. There’s always 2 group rooms to choose from with activation of group facilitators and therapists that run the groups. While here I spent most of my time Scott’s group in the morning. He does a great job of making sure that you are correctly able to identify what got you here in the first place like the fact that being in rehab is not a choice. It is a result of your addiction. Your recovery is the choice you get to make if you put in the work. If you feel that you’ll get more benefit from learning the psychology of things then Dr. B’s group is perfect for you in the other room. And if you want a variety of techniques Jamie is amazing at balance including things such as music therapy, Ted Talks, and recovery speakers in addition to the regular conversations. Is Luminous perfect and issue free? NO. However, it is here to test you and make sure that while you’re under their protective bubble of life you learn to deal with life, cravings, and coping mechanisms the right way. There are many employees who are here for all the right reasons. Some have been through rehab and dealt with addiction themselves and are able to give you insight into what the correct steps to make are without all the fluff like the lead tech Novak who assists in the majority of day to day operations. My case manager Elise goes above and beyond her scope of her job title. While clients speak amongst themselves about issues they may be having, she is brought up as the one who often helps clients that aren’t under her management and picks up slack for other ppl who try to redirect you to someone else for assistance. It’s no wonder that when the new case manager came in they had her shadow her rather than the more senior case manager. Overall I thank Luminous and the entire staff and clients who all contributed to my Successful rehab completion. They have assisted me in my discovery phase and have put me on the path to recovery. I can now claim to be 90 days clean and sober for the first time in over 20 years. Thanks again.
