The guildhause saved my life. By the time I ended up on their doorstep I was literally looking death in the face. They gave me a new purpose and a whole new outlook on life. Been going to Family Guidance for awhile now and I absolutely recommend this methadone clinic to anyone struggling with opiate addiction. The staff are mostly friendly and it's easy to get into the clinic within a day or two. Once you get to the correct methadone dose the dope sickness is mostly gone and then you can slowly get back to a normal life. I've had a few counselors since going here and all were nice and professional but my current one Gary is Awesome. He seems to really care and is always helpful. I would most likely be dead if I didn't sign up at Family Guidance. If you're looking for a way to stop using dope give this clinic a try.

Such a transformative experience! Naturally, the reviews you read for addiction treatment centers are going to skew negative but don't let that deter you if you believe you need help. Not only did I have an amazing experience with staff, I've built a strong foundation of community among my peers who were also seeking treatment. While encouraged by their use of an evidenced-based model, the incorporation of the 12-steps had me skeptical at first but now I'm fully committed. If you feel the 12 steps aren't for you, they also provide information about alternatives such as SMART Recovery and Recovery Dharma. My one complaint would be that I had chosen to participate in the in-person IOP during intake, but was somehow placed into the virtual IOP. Once it was recognized it was a quick fix and it didn't impact my start date or anything like that.

This was our first time experience in this hospital. We were treated very nice by all the staff. They were very helpful. The rooms and hospital is very clean... ER doctors saved my husband's life... very, very thankful for all of them. Desde que entré la persona que me recibió y todos los demás del equipo , han sido tan amables que la verdad eso me ayudó mucho a mi recuperación, ya me graduaron con Diploma y ceremonia a los 4 meses, mi problema era el alcohol, creo que era medianamente severo , tomaba 1/4 de litro de alcohol cada noche diario , no fue milagro solamente, también el paciente tiene que estar consciente de que necesita ayuda , y debe ir a sus citas de terapia con A&B para su recuperación, durante el curso te busca un consejero para evaluarte y te toma muestra de orina , para verificar tu compromiso contigo mismo y en adelante lo recomiendo al 100 % es mi segunda casa ahora , ya me gradué pero continúo yendo a las clases de graduados .

I’m so grateful for my time in the PHP/IOP program. The program and dedicated staff truly saved my life. I can say I made some positive and permanent change in my life after being there for about 6 months. It’s been 1.5 years since I was discharged and I’m so grateful for the help I got. There really isn’t a price to getting better after trauma and severe mental illness. Paige, Dr Annan, and the rest of the staff were so wonderful.

Great experience, couldn't recommend Compass enough. The staff is awesome. Compass as a whole is also very flexible with setting up a payment plan for those that are interested in the program but have reservations about costs. I always felt that I could easily reach out to my therapists via email and that they'd respond in a timely manner.

Compass provides one of the most impressive environments for growth that I've ever experienced. It's not perfect and not trying to be, and yet still does so many things right - from easy patient onboarding to a diverse mix of patients and therapists to alignment to some of the most reputable therapeutic modalities to actual measurable results (nearly everyone I've spoken to upon discharge, including myself, was grateful for the way Compass changed their lives).
I didn't know I needed something like Compass and still struggle to describe how exactly it helped me - and yet it did, and I am so thankful I found it. This place is very clean and the people were very professional and pleasant. Once I arrived for my appointment I was in there saw the doctor we talked he answered all my questions and explained to me the things that were happening to me before I told him about it. My son has been struggling for years and has been to several rehabs. Some bad some great. He's currently at this one and I have seen such a huge difference in him! He is making healthy plans for the future and is full of hope again! He loves that they get to go outside for basketball and the other clients act like family. I like that it's separated with men on one unit and ladies on the other. Having been through treatments myself, I know this is crucial. I've been here twice... Certainly the best 28 day program in the area. Two amazing counselors who educate residence on addiction and push and motivate them to be better. I am grateful to this place however ashamed that I relapsed again after two stays here. They certainly did there best... And do not take into account the bad reviews. If you've been to several programs and treatment centers around Chicago then you know HAS is one of the better ones.
HAS, Keep up the good work and thank Hose for giving me so many chances, you guys help those who want it. I hope I can visit on better terms someday!

I was there and now im 3 years clean. Good place to go if your serious and ready to find a new way to live. I'm forever thankful to all the counselors and the cooks who took there time on showing love and helping me get out of that hell I was in.. I still miss that church they used to take us every other weekend with Pastor Steve still can't find it. God bless and stay safe...

After 10 years of battling addiction to various drugs I went to ECS for 28 days of rehab. It was a life changing experience that started on 11/29/2018. I have been in recovery for nearly 2 years now. I’ve become close with my family and opened a personal training business helping men in rehab and employing men in recovery. I have also gotten my position as a general foreman back at my regular Job as well as my freedom in my life and am a better man than I have ever been thanks to the counselors, staff and Dr Sharma at ECS.
A 6 year sober and in recovery update. I am now making over a quarter million a year with a Fortune 500 company, have kids who love and respect me again, 2 homes in 2 states, real friendships and a life beyond my wildest dreams. I was homeless 6.5 years ago. It all started with E.C.S. and im still a part of the community they have there that Doc started. Grateful

I love this lil gem that's been a Godsend in my life. I never knew this Dr's ofc was inside as I drove many times past. It's an AWESOME place for those who suffer from depression or any mental illness. I love it bcuz it's one stop shop w/psychiatry Dr's & therapists together in a small, intimate, private setting. The Dr's are phenomenal & the therapists are excellent. I've been suffering w/depression for awhile now going from Dr. to Dr. on the same meds that weren't helping, looking for someone long term to help me. I've been here nearly 5 weeks & feel a million times better than when I orginally walked in. The medication (if needed) & therapy together work wonders. I'm so relieved to have found this place & finally am seeing a light at the end of a very dark tunnel.
