I’d like to start out saying thank you Ascension Saint Lexington Brothers elk Grove Village hospital. My experience this time around at this hospital was really good Nice and clean and easy to get to. The hospital stay for four days was very nice. Third floor room 3107 very clean and nice. I gotta say the bed was pretty comfortable. The day shift staff was very nice and on top of everything. The Night Shift staff was very kind and nice . One thing the hospital patient chair when not in bed needs to be updated. The handles on the arms on the chairs were rickety and dirty and beat up not very comfortable. Overall, I would come back to that hospital again to have any other procedures done. I do recommend this hospital.

Staff is warm, helpful, competent, attentative in conversation, patient & responsive in registering, processing, diagnosing & treating. A+ .. admitting in ER was simple & quick. Err medical Staff was efficient, professional, sensitive & pleasant working with me. The STAFF AT EVERY LEVEL WERE MORE LIKE A WARM FAMILY THAT A BUNCH OF IMPERSONAL WORKERS AT A COLD JOBSITE. I had a complex serious illness which mimicked a STROKE but was quickly Medically Assessed Corrrectly by MEDICAL TRIAGE , using IMAGING SCANS, BLOOD CHEMISTRY ANALYSIS & A VERY PROFESSIONAL AND COMPETENT MEDICAL DOCTOR with a Serious Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) requiring ImmediateSERIOUS IV ANTIBIOTIC TREATMENT & QUICKLY ADMITTED TO THE HOSPITAL WITH TREATMENT BEGINNING… THE NURSING STAFF WAS EXCEPTIONALLY GOOD. VERY PROFESSIONAL, VERY SUPPORTIVE AND QUICKLY RESPONSIVE. This hospital quickly access the last 20+ years of my medical records from my prior hospitals in Tennessee. So they knew all of my conditions and all of my medical issues in addition to what they were treating. PS: The food is prepared by a chef, I was able to order from a menu which included vegan vegetarian food. It was delivered hot individually, not as part of trying to feed every person in the hospital at the same time it was restaurant quality food. I have never had such good food in hospital.

EXCELLENT service. Everyone always seems friendly when I’m interacting with them and so far i’ve had very little issues with my therapists. The issues that I have had were only minor and nothing personal to the staff working here.

I was here in December 2019. This place deserves better reviews. It’s clean, productive, and the food decent. I was introduced to mindfulness and meditation before bed. They have a beautiful room with lighting that hangs over you. At night, everyone goes to the reflection room and engage in mindfulness. I’ll never forget looking up at those lights while a counselor guided me through meditation. It made for a very peaceful memory. I will say they lock your personal bathroom during the day to keep you social and out of your room. There is a public restroom that’s always on top shape that everyone uses during the day. These place helped me maintain my sobriety and gave me the meds and tools I needed to stay healthy.

It’s kinda shocking to me this place has such low reviews. I was here last December 2022 and this place saved my life. I will be a year sober in December. It was my first time ever in a residential program and I was beyond scared and almost backed out multiple times, but staying here completely changed my life. I failed every single time I had tried to get sober until I came here. The techs are all great for the most part and really left an impact on me. The ones who stuck out to me the most were Jay, Dustin, and Jilani. Very compassionate people who actually do care. The therapists are also good. I did however come here over other places because I also deal with mental health issues and thought this was a dual program for mental health and substance abuse and the mental health aspect definitely lacked. So don’t come here if that’s what you’re looking for. It’s mainly a substance abuse program in my opinion. But other than that I really do have nothing negative to say. My life has completely changed around in a year and I’ll forever be grateful for my time spent here and would do it all over again but hopefully never will lol

I am not sure i can properly put into words how important my time at footprints was. I do believe they helped me save my life. The entire staff is full of love, care and kindness. They were professional and diligent in my treatment. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone facing struggles with mental health and addiction. This place saved my loved ones life. Seriously. He was Deep in addiction when he got here and I was fearful because of the reviews and because his addiction was just so bad I didn’t know if anything was going to help. Before footprints, I was planning to bury my loved one. He is now healthy, clean and sober and has a career. I can never thanks footprints to recovery enough. All the staff was very kind to me when I went to visit and drop stuff off for him. The only reason we’re missing a star is because my loved one had some issues with a staff member named Quan(?) who was being weird to patients. Other than that, amazing experience for my loved one. Thank you guys for saving his life and brightening up mine.

I didn't know what to expect when trying this therapy but it has turned out to be helpful to me. I just basically need someone w/some knowledge and experience to listen to my problems and any input or advice or even just listening to me is comforting. No one personal is willing to hear or deal w/me but this therapy will. Thankful for that. BTW my therapist is Stephanie and she is wonderful.

Suncloud has been a life saver. The staff was and is always welcoming and caring. One of the things that has been the most helpful for me has been the aftercare, follow ups and continued connection I get with them. It has become part of my family now and its a lifestyle. One of the things I lost in my life was a sense of being part of my community and having that desire to isolate from people. I dont feel that way anymore because of Suncloud. Now I have friends and people I really trust. Which is huge to me with my trust issues. Suncloud taught me that I cannot do this alone and showed me that I wasnt alone. This is a lifelong journey and my life is better now because I chose to do something about it, and Suncloud gave me the tools I needed. The aftercare is something I look forward to now and I really appreciate all the friends I've made along the way. 🫶❤️

The personnel is wonderful in the meetings as well as I’ve learned that the fellowship and community is the most meaningful process of recovery. The Work Flex is great And Henry love is terrific always with the smile and willingness to accommodate any request. Five stars for him. The fact that we’re getting medicine at night between 1030 and 11 is brutal as we’re expected to wake up at six in the morning per your schedules, which goes against your other directive of getting eight hours of sleep. I also had my wife bring two ply toilet paper and it was rejected, which is a joke. No one should have one ply and I bet whoever is reading this uses two ply. I’d like to get that sent to my cottage ASAP. They also took a small tube of gorilla glue, which I was trying to help my roommates with to fix a pair of broken glasses and that wasn’t even recognized on the old held yet it wasn’t in my bag of goods I received either. Even though I’m able to use my phone during work, Flex, I think it’s unfair to the rest to not be able to use their phones for at least a half hour a day. At times feel like prisoners. Regardless of my complaints still fabulous recovery experience. Thank you.

Overall, my experience at Gateway Chicago was exceptional and overwhelmingly positive. From the moment I arrived, I was treated with dignity, respect, and genuine compassion. The food was good, the staff was outstanding, and my counselor, Nate, was incredibly helpful throughout my stay. Supervisor Herb is highly professional and, as he often says, he "gets things done" for the clients—a statement I personally witnessed time and time again. His leadership has had a tremendous impact on the men's unit, and he deserves recognition for creating an environment where clients feel supported, respected, and encouraged to succeed. I would also like to recognize Mike, Muhammad, Kenny, Kevin, Richard, Eva, Prentice, Katelyn, China, Mr. B, and Dale. Dale's classes are engaging, informative, and inspiring, and his passion for recovery is evident in every interaction he has with clients. Every one of these staff members demonstrated professionalism, compassion, patience, and dedication. They treated not only me but every client with kindness and respect, making recovery feel possible and giving people hope during one of the most difficult times in their lives. Gateway Chicago, located at 3828 West Taylor Street, Chicago, Illinois 60624, did far more than provide substance abuse treatment—it helped bring sanity, clarity, and serenity back into my life. The staff consistently went above and beyond to accommodate my needs and the needs of others. I witnessed countless acts of generosity and compassion. For example, today the facility distributed an abundance of quality clothing to clients. Priority was given to those who arrived with nothing, and after everyone in need was taken care of, there were still enough clothes for others. It was just one of many examples of how Gateway genuinely cares about the people they serve. The facility itself is clean and well maintained. The beds are comfortable, clients receive three meals a day along with a snack, and the overall atmosphere promotes healing and recovery. While anyone can find something to criticize about any organization, I found very few, if any, faults with Gateway Chicago. My overall experience exceeded my expectations. I am sincerely grateful to the ownership, the corporate leadership, and every member of the staff for the hard work, compassion, passion, and dedication they show every day to individuals seeking recovery. Most importantly, I am grateful that Gateway helped me regain peace of mind, hope for the future, and the serenity I had been missing for so long. I wholeheartedly recommend Gateway Chicago to anyone seeking treatment. This facility is just amazing! Truly felt like everyone cared about me, and I can honestly say I trusted everyone in there. Trust is very hard for me, but the adult program and the staff allowed me to be myself with no judgement. I'm trying so hard to follow the rules and not name any staff but will give a broad review. Right when you walk in the staff is friendly, always smiling which in turn made me smile. The supervisor is amazing; the head of the counselors who leads the group therapy is one of the best people I ever met. The staff that lead the groups cared about me, and it was genuine, and they are so smart and fun. From the psychiatrist to my therapist everyone was on the same page. I just want to say thank you to everyone there from the bottom of my heart!

Most grateful for this treatment center on my 7th anniversary sober from alcohol. The seeds Hazeldon planted saved my life! Shame on whoever is letting Susan Nice run meetings out of your building. She let a stranger stroke my leg her entire meeting and never stopped it once. Had the audacity to ask if it was my boyfriend after. Knowing I live with PTSD from abuse being my longtime 'godsponsor'. She just spoke at the Canada opening. How are you letting someone so detached from reality speak to those in need of help? How many meetings has she been to? Her suggestions along with Laura Ws (whos Mom works with congress scary enough) and the ladies of AA in particular are reckless. Suggested I do my first lead of life and didnt show up. How many woman have you sponsored Laura? You suggested more fellowship and ditched me at my first AA dance. 2 ladies came to Windy City Church women's big book meeting on Mondays and felt so shamed the went home and killed themselves. Those ladies made me feel the same but I refuse to kill myself though your careless suggestions made me feel like I should. The ladies in AA arent doctors. Thanks for being professionals Hazeldon. Alano clubs are hot spots for gossip that's ruining lives. Grateful to be alive and sober. Thanks for starting my journey with me 14 years ago! Hiding under fake names to gain personal information is illegal too Tricia. Shame on all of you ladies.

This is my first time experiencing an addiction recovery program. But I can honestly say I've never been part of any program (of any kind) that has counselors and leaders with bigger hearts! I was recommended this place by my therapist, and can honestly say it was not only the best decision I've ever made but the most life-changing decision I've ever gotten to experience. As soon as I started, I could instantly tell that the counselors and leaders weren't just there to do a job but genuinely cared about every patient who entered their program. It was amazing to not only get education and tools on how to go through recovery but also how to cope with life outside of recovery with a tailored made schedules for each individual. This program also has amazing outside events for its patients in recovery, such as game nights, movie/book club nights, and more. Care Addiction Center is more than a program; it's a beating heart that saves & changes lives! I can honestly say it saved mine! If you're looking for a program that can get you to that next step when every other programs or every other solution has not worked, I promise you if you follow their advice and tips, you definitely will. I'm grateful to have met every single person a part of this program! I don't think there is a better recovery program that really exists; especially for its affordability. I know I'm biased, but there are many who would back that! I'm genuinely so grateful for these counselors and leaders and the many I've met who joined me in the program along the way!

BEST EXPERIENCE!!! This center was perfect for me because I am not a very social person and the small group sessions were perfect. Also, the small group allowed for me to learn more and get the most from the program. The instructors are very well versed and knowledgeable about addiction. I looked forward to going every day. Our group became very close knit and we do activities together outside of class. If you do not want to be just a seat filler and actually get something out of your recovery journey, this is the place.

I choose to take part of the Symetria program voluntarily and it was one of the best decisions of my life! Not only are the staff like family, so are the individuals that pick Symetria too. Now days, customer service is pathetic and people are rude and most push you out the door, but not here. This place has the warm feeling like "The door is always open", and "how can we help you", We are here for you, it doesn't matter the time or the day, we care about you. You're a shining star and a success, not a failure. This place is secure, confidential, clean and has several options to help you along your journey. You are able to volunteer your time, make new friends and can help save a life, change a life and feel proud of who you are. Brian and John from Naperville are excellent group leaders (you are lucky if you get to meet them), and (Chris from Vernon Hills is a great counselor, who will make the time to ensure your needs are met). Symetria creates an environment where people feel safe, supported, and valued. The morning IOP group supported me through the hardest part of my life and I will forever be grateful for the amazing people I met. I think each one of us in the group looked forward to our time together in that healing place. Our counselor Brian is an expert in his field. He led our group through many difficult topics and conversations and did so with enormous compassion. Individual sessions with Brian were always insightful. Brian has a unique way of making each of his clients feel good about themselves. PSI saved my life. The people here not only helped me want to live a healthier life, but they also helped me find my voice again. This was my second IOP program and honestly the service and care that I received was on a completely different level. Mike Geraci is one of the best therapists I've ever had the pleasure of working with. PSI and Mike went above and beyond for me and my peers to make sure that we finished the program ready to jump back into our lives. I also spent time and stayed at the sober living apartments through PSI and would highly recommend this choice. The apartment was comfortable and in a great location. PSI was an experience in honesty, structure, and human connection that’s helped me rebuild after years of destructive patterns and self medication. What stays with me most is how powerful it is to be around people who understand what I was dealing with firsthand. They approach recovery as not just about stopping harmful behavior—it also looks to address anxiety, depression, trauma, distorted thinking, and other underlying mental health struggles through therapy, accountability, education, and consistent support While the focus of the program deals with very heavy topics - the care teams I worked with made me feel heard, comfortable, and safe. Being hopeful, heard a lot... From many and within... Physical health etc... the many lies, make so much up. We have a voice! But you can't!! Seen many good people.... The despair, trying to improve... Why??? Just for saying what's going on here, taken advantage of, false promises, came back here in good faith like many.. put forth so much to rebuild etc... new health conditions, put down for a certain one..

I stayed in Crisis Residential for a month (I got an extended week) and I learned so much and had SUCH a great time, I HIGHLY recommend this place if you're in need of a timeout. Lots and lots of groups, very well structured, the rules are really easy to understand and follow, and the staff genuinely cares about how you're feeling during your stay as well. You get to see your psychiatrist once a week to make sure your medication is helping, and the psychiatrists they have on staff are wonderful, as well as your therapist and if you're in the substance abuse program, they're kind too, from what I've heard. Once again, thank you Ecker, for helping me learn to manage my anxiety and various other symptoms. You've done a great job for a lot of people! 10/5 stars!

Been going to Family Guidance for awhile now and I absolutely recommend this methadone clinic to anyone struggling with opiate addiction. The staff are mostly friendly and it's easy to get into the clinic within a day or two. Once you get to the correct methadone dose the dope sickness is mostly gone and then you can slowly get back to a normal life. I've had a few counselors since going here and all were nice and professional but my current one Gary is Awesome. He seems to really care and is always helpful. I would most likely be dead if I didn't sign up at Family Guidance. If you're looking for a way to stop using dope give this clinic a try.
