For all the bad publicity you see in the news, you wouldn't be able to tell by visiting this location. I've been using them for 6.5 years. Urgent care is faster than local walk-in clinics OR the hospital, and the staff has always been caring and attentive. The VA is a great benefit for veterans.

My 5 yr. old twins are working with Becca. She is very considerate, prompt and polite. She even comes to our home to work with them. That's so convenient. She made us all feel comfortable. Becca actually listens and hears what you are saying. Which is very rare these days.
Well cornerstone has good staff in there showed me with respect my only concern is the med clinic never answers they absolutely rude by know means I'm rude as well damn not like them all the time and very staff I really really like cool people get things done call ya when about your appointment

I actually deeply appreciate everyone on staff inpatient. I formed bonds with them and some of the other patients in healthy ways. I appreciated group therapy and mandatory meal attempts. They were organized and timely from what I could tell. So many techs spoke life into me with their own stories, examples, and advice. I should have come to Cornerstone sooner.

Boca is the place to be. The staff is awesome. That people get along very respectful if you want to get your life together or you got a loved one that needs help with addiction. Joe's awesome Dave is awesome. Candace is awesome. Never won their nurses. They're all awesome people, and I gotta take a shout out to Michelle. It's Sunday not gonna forget you either brother, I recommend this place to the fullest. I can go all day long out. Michelle did such a wonderful job and was quick to get to us. She explained everything that was going on and how I would be treated for all my problems. I would recommend her to anyone.
First psychiatrist I seen was rude kind of just said I was doing drigs when I wasn't like my pee came back clean nothing in it tried saying I smoked marijuana I don't like marijuana I was addicted to fentanyl I wouldn't go smoke weed I would smoke fetty second off I'm giving a 4 star because the guy I see now is amazing and caring and actually talks to you and listens to you and helps people he's the best person I've ever seen it's sad that August will be his last month because he was truly amazing he helped my wife and me and we would do our appointments together he made our journey to sobriety really easy and really helped us get there.

My experience at the Huntington Bowen center has been great. The staff is helpful and always willing to accommodate me. My son and I both go here.
I'd like to mention the wonderful caregivers who have bettered our lives. Firstly, Erin Hollowell is amazing with children. She's worked with my son and we've had family sessions that have resolved issues that seemed hopeless. She offers realistic advice and provides a plan that can help future issues. I appreciate how well she is able to articulate both side's perspectives and offer valuable feedback without undermining either of us.
Fay Montague is a wonderful doctor who diligently worked to come up with a plan to help our family. It took months to see an improvement but she was persistent and showed our family so much compassion during one of the hardest times of our lives. I went from feeling endless frustration and wanting to give up to feeling hope for the first time in months and finally the results that we prayed for.
Aaron Crump is an amazing therapist. He is so insightful and smart. He is able to reframe my situations in such a way that my perception shifts. Instead of offering pointless validation he challenges me by asking questions that lead me to a better understanding. It's so helpful when I'm feeling stuck in an unhealthy thought cycle and has improved my self esteem so much. I'm more reflective and have more self compassion.
Don't let the other reviews persuade you. Our Bowen center is filled with providers who consistently do their best to improve the lives of their patients. This location is so much better than the ones in the surrounding community. Thank you for all you do.

I dont know why the rating is the way it is, I come here for mental health therapy and I think so far that my therapist is great and I am a very hard man to get along with because of my physical and mental health trauma in my past. My therapist, Brandy, is excellent and listens, and is also very real. I have been with Bowen for many years through Fort Wayne, Indianapolis, and now Huntington. I currently live in Indianapolis and travel over two hours one way to come to therapy, this is how good Bowen is in my eyes.

I love this place!!! My family all see a different Therapist there and they are all great. They have personal helped me out. They are honest and aren’t just telling out what they think you want to hear.
We have been going to Wabash Bowen for several years. With a few hiccups here and there, but we like our therapist, Psyc Dr. and Life skills coach. My grandson loves the Gals at the front desk !

I have went to bowen for years in Huntington and it was nothing but problems and issue after issue just trying to get mess refilled and doctors that never listened to your concerns or cared much so I was expecting the same here. Boy was I wrong! Started coming here because I moved to wabash and I am beyond impressed with this Bowen. My psych practitioner was attentive and super informative and even asked me to ask her any question about her I wanted to know as an icebreaker which I thought was really cool. She informed me they now do primary care as well and I needed a new primary care as well and so glad I went here. The NP was nothing short of spectacular, friendly, caring, informative and super attentive to my health concerns. She addressed every single problem I had and listened intently instead of
putting off my concerns like a lot of doctors normally seem to do. So happy with this bowen and never in my life would I have thought i would ever give a good review to a Bowen.

I love the skills coaches that work with my family. It seems to be when I do come across an issue, I can't talk to a supervisor without being judged. When I started this service I was told that if I was not vibing with someone they could give me someone knew, no questions asked, and there needs to be a location needs in kokomo, some of us don't drive
Nursing staff was very concerned with my mental and physical needs and helped take care of me. The awareness of my addiction is much more clear now I was given many tools to work with in my days of recovery. All of the staff have helped me on my journey!!

Avenues is a place that I would happily 😊 recommend to any I ne who is looking to get and stay sober. The staff is amazing, Samantha, Bobby, Kyla, Julia, Tim, Teresa and Madison will help teach you the skills needed to do the shadow work to help you understand your addiction. Lisa and Tim will help you get to your next step after Avenues. Medical and the techs like Z, Dawn, Lopez, Melissa and so many more will help you day to day in getting and staying acclimated. Even the cleaning staff and Lorenzo at the front desk will take time to speak to you if you're having issues or just a rough day.

I came to Avenues Recovery Rehab after dealing with multiple addictions i struggled for 10 years trying to find the right way to pick up the pieces in my life I got sober on October 28th 2025 I had already been to several half way houses and avenues in Fort Wayne a few times before but was never freed from mental illness and the struggle of anxiety or the urge to want to use I couldn't find the strength to say the words unmanageable that that was how my life had become I'm so thankful for avenues recovery and will never forget the effort your staff and therapists and case managers put in to help get you through and into recovery mode like you did to my life
I’ve been to two other treatment centers, and this is by far the best! The techs, therapists, NPs, and other staff are all amazing. If you need help, don’t hesitate. Just call them.

Before Selah, I had several experiences at trauma centers that made me questioned if I ever wanted to get help or if my recovery was worth it.
I was admitted to Selah in Summer 2023 and 2024. I learned to advocated for myself and others. Shout out to nurse Mary Adkins and Kenzie, therapists Emily and Marice! Without them I would of left Selah. I was panicking, didn't feel heard and my dietian left for a different practice. There was so many changes that happened when I was there in 2024. But overall for me, what I gained from both experience was "trust" from the clinical staff at Selah. Trust the process. I have never had that before.

So glad to hear recently therapist Emily is taking over Christian Programming. One of the reasons I looked more into Selah was faith programming. On Sundays, I always looked forward to church in residential and php.

selah may not have been able to heal me from my eating disorder, not because their work and people aren’t great, but i believe because i have very deep internal issues i’ve struggled to work on myself for years. the program improved a lot from 2022 to 2024 (my two stays). obviously the program had its issues and iffy staff members, but overall the nurses and techs made me feel so loved. nancy, hailey, sydney, jess, christi, maggie, marcie, kati and chris the chaplain are amazing people. thank you guys for making me feel like a person.

So I just want to start off by stating that this facility changed my life drastically and saved my butt! Quite literally. I came to FCRC a scared, shaking, & shy woman. I was a kid on the inside.
Mr. Jeff & Savannah saved me from myself AT LEAST 3 times from trying to walk out on my recovery because of issues on the outside (life continues even though we go to treatment, ya know). When I tell you I have never met a team of such caring loving & HONEST staff? I hadn’t until I walked into this facility. I graduated yesterday, with 44 days today under my belt. I had hopped on a plane from Houston TX not knowing anything but my Higher Power did. I am so beyond grateful to First City and their peeps. All the way from the Detox experience to my PHP part of my program, everyone was helpful and so kind. And that level of care? Hard to find. Aye, shout out to Bobby in PHP & IOP, that’s my boy!!! First City, thank you for giving me my life back & my children their mother back. My husband his wife. We love y’all. 🙏🏼🫶🏼🫡
Definitely better than Bowen methadone clinic, there you’re just a number. At BHG they make you feel like an actual person and they get to know you and remember you. The lodge has an incredible staff of counselors and techs that absolutely cares about your recovery in a woodsy and relaxing environment that has access to a gym and 24 hour availability to people who can help with any issue that you might be having with recovery and access to food 24 hours a day ( so watch the belt line ) . Although the schedule is demanding they have a way of making seem that it is not over bearing ... They changed and saved my life and I know the staff can do the same for you if you want it ... So if you want a better life there is not a better way to do it than living Laverna loca

Professional yet warm staff, Incredible Drs. who really take the time to listen. They understand that each person has a different experience when detoxing and do their best make an individualize treatment plan. The entire detox floor is kept immaculate and the food is nutritious and is good. I would recommend this detox floor to anyone needing help. Many nurses are in recovery of some sort.

Now Im on my way to Volunteer in my spare time. And shooting to become a Peer Recovery Coach. U loved the experience it gave me this time as well as the last time I was there but that was 18 years ago now.

I have a great therapist named Greg & Lindsey the medication psych NP is just as great ! I've only had good experiences the last 3yrs I've been with them .
