I brought my brother in for injuries received in a motorcycle accident.The ED Nurse and Doctor were GREAT!!! They addressed his pain and got his scans done right away. Fortunately scans were all good and he didn't receive any serve injuries. He was just banned up pretty bad. They were compassionate and through with everything they did. He was sent home with a easy to follow care plan and provided all the equipment needed to address his injuries and the bronchitis he was diagnosed with. Best experience!!!

St greg s helped me take the time and learn the tools I needed to get down to my core of what my addiction was. I really recommend going there with an open mind and digging deep into yourself and your past. Figure out where it all started and why it continued. I was blessed to be able to come to St Gregory Recovery Center for help with alcohol addiction. I am over one year sober now thanks to the caring and knowledgeable staff. Their approach is evidence based and scientific, but also faith based. I experienced God working in my life to help take away my urges to drink and change my thought patterns. I also learned to live the 7 virtues with a great group of peers who all supported each other! Thanks to what I learned at St. Gregory, with a clear and sober head I am able to address and fix other flaws and weaknesses as well. Don t waste your time anywhere else.

I went to Orchard Place on October 14th of 2022, and I was discharged on April 24th of 2023. It s been a tad over a year since then, so I m finally gonna type a review.Orchard Place is not what people say it is. People will complain and say it was utterly horrible and everyone there sucks. Although, even though it s whoever s opinion that said that, it s wrong. (Jkjk.)For a 6 month and 10 day stay there, I can CONFIDENTLY say that all of the staff, despite the house or grade you re in, are the most kind people you will ever come across. Yes, they play by the book for structure and seem strict, but they re just doing their job. All of the staff in the houses, TC, school, etc. etc. They re all great.At Orchard Place, while helping you learn to manage your behaviors, traumas, and whatnot, the staff will teach you proper discipline, management, life skills, etc. They also give you options for anything and everything. Everyone has a different mind with different problems, and Orchard Place accommodates to that opinion (of sorts?).Overall, Orchard Place is more than helpful. I would definitely recommend going there if you genuinely need it.

My child was there for 6 months. She is now working full time, has her own home and making better choices. She was 14 when she entered. She ia now an adult. I have NEVER found a place more phenomenal than Clearview to start my road to recovery! I attended in 2019 and it's helped me regain my sobriety my mind and taught me how much I was worth recovery even on day one without knowing my story. Amy was such a strong confident women with her head held high who saw me and on day one first meeting she said "I forgive you, and you will find how to also forgive yourself while your here too". That statement was the turning point in my life that I had so desperately needed knowing that I had the potential with hard work will a day determination. To work through my grief anger self loathing and to come out the other side worth being sober and I'm worth a life of recovery! I can't thank all the staff enough at Clearview for helping me get back on my feet and there has not been 1 day that has gone by that I haven't thought of you all!

I ve unfortunately been to 9 inpatient treatments in Iowa and Hazelden in Minnesota. Powell is easily the best one in Iowa and their programming and staff are right on par with Hazelden. Which is one of the best (maybe the best) treatment in the USA. I highly recommend Powell if you or a loved one is serious about getting sober. They know what it takes to get sober and more importantly what to do to stay sober! 5

I broke my hip and was taken to Methodist for care. I could not have had a better experience from start to finish. Dr Vig did an exceptional operation on my hip. All of the nurses were very friendly and attentive to my needs the entire stay. Maryen, Anne, and Summer were my main caretakers and all of them went above and beyond to make sure I was ok at all times. I want to thank everyone there who was involved in my visit and I would highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for great care.

I was reading through these comments and I wanted to address a few things. I've been there for 3 months. I've been at another treatment centers in the past like UCS. A lot of the things the comments are true about places like UCS. Where they shame patient or we're running some sort of financial scam. Covert action is absolutely not one of those places. Everyone always very friendly to me I feel like I have a room full of friends every time I go there. My counselor is lovely she's always very sweet to me shes concerned legitimately about my needs. They're very well priced I think it's $70 for a week if you don't have insurance. Which is only $5 a day and as a user I always seem to be able to scrounge up enough money to get high I can definitely come up with 5 bucks and I did. The program is effective is the first time that I've been cleaned in nearly 15 years. This will be the first Christmas I've been sober with my family. But not only save lives there but they give you a life worth saving. And I saw some comments about Judy and I think she is an absolute darling I love her to death and she is the nicest most caring doctor I've ever met in my entire life. She always remembers my name just by my face. And she always treats me like a long lost friend. I look forward to speaking with her every month when I come to get my renewal. All in all it's a wonderful place and I thank them very much for giving my life back

Staff was great! Made you really work to make the changes you wanted in your life. Got hard at times and lots of tears were shed but I am a better person because of the tools they taught me in how to overcome the hardships in my life and how to change how I looked at the world. You have to want to change and the staff fosters that environment.

I have been using this clinic for a long time and have had nothing but good experiences. The staff has always been great and I've received the care I needed when I needed it. I feel the VA gets bad press because of a few isolated incidents and people giving bad reviews tend to be the loudest. I know of a few other veteran friends of mine that have had great service as well from the VA.

I had my first appointment at the Knoxville clinic yesterday and it was amazing. The caring professionals went out of their way to help and guide me every step of the way. I can not express how grateful I am to know that dedicated and caring people not only exist, but thrive to help our veterans

This place saved my life! Lisa is incredibly welcoming and helped out tremendously. It's was super easy to walk in and get an assessment done. Karen was very professional and kind. She guided me all of the way and I couldn't be more grateful. Craig has helped me along the way. He is incredibly kind and caring. I looked forward to our meetings every week. He has done so much research for me when I was unable to. Again without this place I have no clue where I'd be to this say. We as a community are very lucky to have this as a resource.

Lisa @ the front desk is awesome. She's truly a kind soul to each and everyone who walks through the door. She has an awesome way with people. Generally when people are walking through the doors of house of mercy they are not in the best of circumstances and are sometimes at the lowest points of their lives. She treats everyone with dignity and respect. House of mercy is lucky to have her. I hope she's recognized for her uncanny ability to make a person like myself feel un judged . Cm x
