Barring medical needs that sent me to St, Luke’s, ALL staff were pleasant and professional. From top to bottom the care was phenomenal to me as an individual, not by my patient number. Beyond hospitable by providing anything I could possibly need and they even gave my husband an evening snack bag so that he wouldn’t have to leave my side. I appreciated the communication between the rounding physician and surgical doctors and myself so I maintained autonomy in my own healthcare decisions. 10/10 stars!

I had a very positive experience at St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids. The doctors, nurses, and entire medical staff were incredibly professional, compassionate, and attentive throughout the treatment process. They took the time to clearly explain every step, answered all questions patiently, and made sure we felt comfortable and well cared for. The level of care and dedication shown by the medical team was truly impressive. From the moment we arrived until the treatment was completed, everything was handled efficiently and with great kindness. The hospital facilities were clean, well organized, and the staff made sure the patient’s comfort and safety were always a priority. I’m very grateful for the excellent care we received. Thank you to the entire team at St. Luke’s for their commitment to patient care and for making a difficult situation much easier.

I came to ASAC after 15 years of serious substance abuse and it was the first treatment center I had ever been to. I am coming up on my one year anniversary being completely sober. I am happy, healthy, and in control of my life in a way others have prayed I would be for a long time. The staff at ASAC helped me in so many ways I could not list them all, they were nothing short of amazing to my family. These people at ASAC are the most knowledgeable, caring, capable bunch of professionals who have assembled a team that gets results. I’ve unfortunately been in recovery several times at ASAC. They really do care. However, they can’t do the work for you. I’ve always been given good advice on how to move forward after treatment, but get sober and think we’re Superman. I learned a lot. Now, how bad do we want sobriety?

They were very willing to help us and even assisted us with the process of applying for insurance for the expectant mother. The entire team was professional, kind, and compassionate. The hospital was extremely clean, like a large hotel. When we first arrived, we felt very nervous because of the language barrier, but they kindly provided interpretation services online for us. Within just a few hours, they completed all the tests, including blood work, urine tests, and ultrasound. We are very grateful and will always remember this experience. America is truly compassionate—especially here in Dubuque, Iowa, where the doctors and medical staff are not only skilled but also ethical and kind-hearted. We also noticed Christian statues and images in the hospital, which made us feel even more comforted and trusting. We sincerely hope they will continue to support us in obtaining insurance so that she can receive proper prenatal care and give birth safely in the future. From the satellite ER to the main hospital, it was amazingly good care. I stayed on the neurology floor for 2 nights. The nurses, patient techs,, rad techs, docs and the medical director were awesome as were the vestibular therapists that visited. I don’t recommend going to a hospital of course because I want everyone to be healthy, but if you have to, St. Luke’s is a great choice

I am so grateful for the Hospice unit at St. Luke’s Unity Point, Cedar Rapids. The staff who cared for our sister in her last days were compassionate, professional, and caring. The unit was beautiful with many thoughtful touches—a bed wide enough for the patient and a loved one, large windows to allow sunlight and views, a generous room with ample seating for family, a large family room when we needed to step away. Jackie the PT is the best! I recently had a knee replacement and under her tutelage I have advanced and improved my flexion and extension. I mention this because ten years ago I had my other knee done and did not receive adequate PT. Jackie has me doing things I never learned previously. Besides the therapy she is a really upbeat person that is able to connect with people. As I noted in a previous review, everyone at the VA in Dubuque are really exemplary and helpful. I have used three VA centers over a forty year period and this is the best service I ever received. My primary care provider Lana a PA and her nurse Deb are the very best! All the other people I have had contact including Rachel the pharmacist and all the front desk people are really great. They return calls and are always polite and efficient. The lady who takes blood work--a combat vet herself--always goes above and beyond. Sorry I forgot her name but no less a critical member of a highly efficient team. Give all my highest recommendation.

I have been receiving resources through the Abbe Center for years almost a decade I started when I was 12 at the anamosa location I now go through the CR location. Just because you don’t like a doctor doesn’t mean they are a bad doctor. Some doctors are a better match for your specific needs when they may not be a match to another doctor. I took me a couple different doctors before I found the one that works for my specific needs the most.

I've had two appointments with Rachel Bowers so far and am really appreciative of how thorough she has been with my mental health history and providing an adequate treatment plan for me. I love the new Abbe Center building. They have really progressed since their last building. Sometimes communication can be off but that’s everywhere. Once you find the right people apart of your care team, you will love Abbe Center. They have lots of recourses available for the bus/getting to appointments. But sometimes scheduling can be tricky.

My spouse has been here for over a week and the excellent care she has received has me bragging up Allen Hospital. For those of you reading my evaluation, please select this hospital for your care. Also, if you agree with me, please support my efforts to give these employees a livable wage. ALLEN HOSPITAL…KEEP THESE WORKERS. Not knowing what employees are making at Allen, we had heard hospital staff in Omaha, NE are leaving for higher paying positions. Hoping this doesn’t happen at Allen Hospital. By the way, the medical doctors and their assistants are EXCELLENT. Doctor Chirinois has explained everything we have asked questions about. He takes the time, after explaining what’s going on, asks us if we have any questions. He is the ‘main’ doctor who wants the other doctors to get problems solved, if possible. GI, kidney and cardiology really worked together with Doctor Chirinois.

It has been a little over a month that we stayed with my kiddo for an infection for almost a week. I thank the wonderful doctor at the ER that night that took care of my son and made sure to thoroughly test him. My kiddo was admitted into the pediatric unit where most of the nurses were so attentive and caring a special shoutout to Nurse Linda, Nurse Taylor, Nurse Regan, Nurse Amanda and Nurse Molly. It was so sweet how they cared and performed their job with such diligence. Thank you for being such angels!

They are good, yet I know the nurses can get stressed out, sorry you had deal with me. The nurses should get paid more; Doctor I'm on to you LOL joking. It was good and fun being mental health area. Beware the cook's man they cook good food don't piss them off. Doctor Abba if you are reading this thanks, I can be pain in the butt at least there is no pike up there, respect Vlad Impaler. Just for people going there you won't get much sleep just attend groups and take you meds at night you'll get sleep. Yeah, I know it's tough meeting other people you don't know. I went to tanager a couple years ago and I may not have seen how much it helped me then but I realize now. I'm positive every staff member would be happy to help any kid as long as they wanted it or asked. Almost every one of the therapists do an excellent job in my opinion and they all are their cus they do genuinely care. Even if y'all don't think so. The only bad part about tanager i would have to say is the kids. Having to live in a cottage with 10 other kids going through possibly similar traumas as yours or completely different and the kids seem to just, clash. But yeah 👍🏻
