Barring medical needs that sent me to St, Luke’s, ALL staff were pleasant and professional. From top to bottom the care was phenomenal to me as an individual, not by my patient number. Beyond hospitable by providing anything I could possibly need and they even gave my husband an evening snack bag so that he wouldn’t have to leave my side. I appreciated the communication between the rounding physician and surgical doctors and myself so I maintained autonomy in my own healthcare decisions. 10/10 stars!

I had a very positive experience at St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids. The doctors, nurses, and entire medical staff were incredibly professional, compassionate, and attentive throughout the treatment process. They took the time to clearly explain every step, answered all questions patiently, and made sure we felt comfortable and well cared for. The level of care and dedication shown by the medical team was truly impressive. From the moment we arrived until the treatment was completed, everything was handled efficiently and with great kindness. The hospital facilities were clean, well organized, and the staff made sure the patient’s comfort and safety were always a priority. I’m very grateful for the excellent care we received. I came to ASAC after 15 years of serious substance abuse and it was the first treatment center I had ever been to. I am coming up on my one year anniversary being completely sober. Asac has changed my life not once but twice! I had 7 years of real recovery when I left in 2018. When I relapsed I went back and they dug deeper into my trauma with me to find the root cause of my addiction and are helping me thoroughly examine every aspect to prevent another relapse. Jackie the PT is the best! I recently had a knee replacement and under her tutelage I have advanced and improved my flexion and extension. I mention this because ten years ago I had my other knee done and did not receive adequate PT. Jackie has me doing things I never learned previously. Besides the therapy she is a really upbeat person that is able to connect with people. As I noted in a previous review, everyone at the VA in Dubuque are really exemplary and helpful. I have used three VA centers over a forty year period and this is the best service I ever received. My primary care provider Lana a PA and her nurse Deb are the very best! All the other people I have had contact including Rachel the pharmacist and all the front desk people are really great. They return calls and are always polite and efficient. The lady who takes blood work--a combat vet herself--always goes above and beyond. Sorry I forgot her name but no less a critical member of a highly efficient team. Give all my highest recommendation.

I love the new Abbe Center building. They have really progressed since their last building. Sometimes communication can be off but that’s everywhere. Once you find the right people apart of your care team, you will love Abbe Center. They have lots of recourses available for the bus/getting to appointments. But sometimes scheduling can be tricky.

I feel this program is very positive with a very nice, experienced staff. The members of the group are very supportive and nice people for the most part. The cost is worth it if you want to change your life and stop using drugs. It has been very positive for me. It is my second time in this program and it will only work if you want to change. We had the BEST experience with the Labor and Delivery Unit at Allen Hospital in Waterloo. The nurses, doctors, and lactation specialists were extraordinary at their jobs and made our journey into parenthood so positive! To say that I am pleased would hardly be enough to describe the care and compassion shown by the nurses during my sister's time at the hospital. Taylor on the OB unit was absolutely amazing. She was attentive, patient, and so very kind with every interaction. Every nurse on the unit was cheerful and full of smiles and warmth.

I went to tanager a couple years ago and I may not have seen how much it helped me then but I realize now. I'm positive every staff member would be happy to help any kid as long as they wanted it or asked. Almost every one of the therapists do an excellent job in my opinion and they all are their cus they do genuinely care. Even if y'all don't think so. The only bad part about tanager i would have to say is the kids. Having to live in a cottage with 10 other kids going through possibly similar traumas as yours or completely different and the kids seem to just, clash. But yeah 👍🏻

I interned here when I was in undergrad at University of Iowa and Tanager is truly a well run facility. The staff is well trained and they provide structured, supportive, and comprehensive therapeutic interventions for children with myriad needs. My experience here was exceptional!

I'm oddly confused about all the negative reviews. One of the best experiences I've ever had and has changed my entire outlook on life. I think about this place almost everyday since I've left, and I sincerely miss all of the staff. Every single one of them had a positive impact on me that I won't ever forget. I'm even headed back to school to get my bachelor's degree in a similar field, with the credit to my time spent here. I only ever heard positive things while I was there and a lot of people coming in from the outside to volunteer their time for meetings .. the majority of them give a lot of credit to Horizons for helping them as well. My Fiance is going to be there today, and I was really worried about it. I am in treatment as well in another City. We are both doing this on our own will, but after reading these reviews I fell better. I truly believe that treatment is exactly what you put into it and how much you want to get out of it.
