Drug and Alcohol Addiction Treatment IAM gave me exactly what I needed at the right time. The whole program had this balanced feel — not too intense, but still serious about helping me change. Staff knew their stuff and made me feel like I wasn’t alone in the fight.Every part of the experience felt thoughtful — from daily check-ins to the way they handled setbacks without judgment. I didn’t just feel supported, I felt understood. IAM helped me clear the fog and walk out with a plan — and for the first time, it actually feels doable.

Great and ample facilities I love. I do not know much about them yet but I am ready to submit to the program to achieve a recovery.

I received the best care from jen/Jenny in triage. she took great care of me. you can tell she's very experienced and very professional and has been taking care of people for a long time. it was very busy in there today, but she proceeded with a smile and the best optimistic attitude a person can have. 10 out 10. thank you Jenny ❤️

From checking in with reception to getting to your appointment they are the best and most efficient caregivers I have ever dealt with. I am proud to say they are my doctor's and can say 100% this is what VA healthcare should look like.

When I went in last year, I didn't know quite what to expect. I only knew I couldn't function the way I was anymore, and needed help that my parents couldn't give me. The depression, guilt, anger, pain, and anxiety was so overrun in my body and mind that I wasn't able to focus for more than a few minutes. After the first 2 days there, I was able to breathe, calm down, feel hopeful and heard. I talked to a psychiatrist and we started trialing medications to figure out the "cocktail" of meds best suited for me. I got help with my sleeping, leveling out my mood, severe anxiety, and hopelessness, and was able to read a book every day during down time between group classes. I didn't know what to expect, but what I experienced was nothing short of a miracle. It truly saved my life, I can not recall any one person's name, but every single person I met during my stay of not quite 2 weeks was friendly and warm, and made me feel good to be there, not like I did something wrong, or something was wrong with me. We expect too much of ourselves and have too much pride to show weakness in this day and age.. I know I thought that way and it almost broke me, I find myself thanking God at odd times, knowing my life would be severely different today, if I didn't have my parents take me in last year. What a blessing, I am so thankful and will go again much sooner next time if I start to see or feel some signs!

Best mental a hospital ever

I felt they were very understanding with my daughter and provided her with the treatment that she truly needed. She was hesitant at first but came around at the end. She was able to overcome some deep issues with their help. But most importantly she admitted she needed help and was open to change.

Amazing staff, considerate and kind. My Oncologist, Dr.Strouse is superb and tailors the conversations to my level so I understand. He listens, is patient and I feel like he cares. The staff has always been helpful in every department I have had to go to for various testing. I am glad I chose UIHC for treatment of my cancer.

I have been to this hospital since I was a child and continue to be followed by great providers and no words can express how grateful I am for the care I have received and if I could give back in anyway I would. The doctors and nurses and pharmacists do what they can to provide the best care possible for patients and it clearly shows. I would like to thank transplant team and genetics for everything and continued care and support. The reason I am giving 4 stars is because of aftercare from transplant team when it comes to medical insurance. They do their best and I fully respect and admire them for everything they do. When it comes to the nurse coordinators Sometimes patients need to guide them as they do not always know - depending on who is assigned to you. When it comes to dealing with medical insurance it has become so difficult especially for getting medications that are essential like Aranesp and other similar meds which are ridiculously expensive. The workaround should not be so difficult and I don’t know why there is sometimes hesitation from the team which is kind of frustrating. It’s understandable that no one likes to deal with insurance companies but this needs to improve.

I had a week long stent at this hospital recently, in particular Nurse Hughes at short stop was wonderful. Medical staff is treated harshly, and we should all take a moment to truly appreciate those who do for others more often. No mistakes were made, but even if they had been we're all only human. Nurse Hughes thank you, and I hope nothing but bright days in your future

I feel this program is very positive with a very nice, experienced staff. The members of the group are very supportive and nice people for the most part. The cost is worth it if you want to change your life and stop using drugs. It has been very positive for me. It is my second time in this program and it will only work if you want to change. Participation is key. Change for yourself not for anyone else.

The entire staff that works there are so friendly, helpful, welcoming, resourceful, and knowledge-able. in anything you may need, or ask, they are all like family the minute you walk through the doors because that's how they make the atmosphere feel there, you never leave without a good laugh that's for sure!!! I'm very proud to be Ho-Chunk and part of awesome people like my family there at 3 rivers!
