My great grandma has been cared for here the last couple days!! She was in the ER then moved upstairs. Shout out to Rayna/Kylie (ER) and Bella/Rainy (upstairs). They all were amazing and my great grandma absolutely adored them!! There were two other nurses she loved but I didn’t get their names unfortunately. Keep up the amazing work ladies!! Edit: one of the nurses was also Nicole on third floor!

I came in feeling totally lost, like nothing could pull me out of the mess I was in. But from day one, these folks really made me feel seen. They weren’t just checking boxes—they were listening, guiding, and helping me take real steps forward. What stood out most was how they didn’t try to rush the process. I never felt pressured, just supported. They gave me the space and tools to start figuring things out, one day at a time.

I feel this program is very positive with a very nice, experienced staff. The members of the group are very supportive and nice people for the most part. The cost is worth it if you want to change your life and stop using drugs. It has been very positive for me. It is my second time in this program and it will only work if you want to change. Cfr has literally changed my life in such positive ways I never thought were possible. I was an extremely lost and addicted individual. After 21 of my 34 years of life being helplessly addicted to a number of drugs and gambling my life away, I received a call. The lady on the phone said her name was Shea and asked if I was ready to get help. I don't think I went after that phone call but it got me thinking about my life and the second time she called I knew I needed to at least try, as I was literally on the brink of death. So I did I called my sister and had her take me to guide links. Cfr saved my life that day and started me on my journey to living a sober life filled with happiness and endless support. My family has began trusting and supporting me as well and I know if it had not been for cfr I would not be where I am at today. There were a number of individuals at CFR crucial in my successful recovery. Starting with all of the residential techs guiding me through my initial withdraws and struggle I endured while in residential. Successfully graduating me from that program. Knowing I had a battle ahead of me cfr enrolled me into there IOP program where I'd like to give a shout out to the staff of all cfr. Nancy, Ronda, Hailey, Weller, and Lori you all have changed my life and I am forever grateful... I am 90 days sober today and happier than I ever thought possible. I attend church every Sunday and also continue my recovery in eop through cfr. I have found happiness and sobriety thanks to all of you at CFR and only hope anyone out there struggling with addiction can also find you guys and receive this gift of a good life as I have. I love you all and if there is anyway I could help in any way it would be my pleasure. God bless you all, and thank you for giving me the tools I needed to succeed in my journey to sobriety.

Regarding the walk-in intake, So far I have done intake and the process for that was long. They started at 10am but I had already been there since 8:12am waiting. I was the last person they accepted that day totalling 4 of us. I had to wait until each person in front of me was done, about 45 mins to 1 hour each. I was there a total of about 5 hours beginning to end. At the end you schedule a follow-up and it was 3 weeks out. Once you check in theoretically you could leave but about 2 hours in the called me in to verify my financial info. So I just stayed.

My experience with this VA has been excellent. My paperwork was processed very quickly and care was established in a very timely manner. The staff are knowledgeable helpful. The care that I received was spectacular. Yet, being in the ER overnight before a bed was available was interesting. To hear the staff at the counters and the Chief of Police comments about DEI was mind blowing, upsetting, and sad. The comments and how they felt were mean, ignorant, and callus about it made my time in the ER extremely uncomfortable while I was being treated by the kind nurses. I asked questions. The response I received was nothing less than racist. I was glad that I was treated by nurses that were professional, kind, and concerned about the care of a Veteran, but to the others, a disgrace. To compare DEI to Affirmative action was truly mind blowing and ignorance. That's just part of the conversations I've heard. SMH

For speed, I quickly review each aspect of the recovery after my full review. You can scroll past my full review for the bullet points. Full Review: Energy told me to take a look at options to heal the results of my actions. In my opinion, energy (not action) brought you to my review. I tried to detox at home and I briefly died. My energy showed me fiist hand the difference between life and death and my energy choose life. (Like it or not). I took action and called the facility, asked questions, and I was provided answers as well as a close contact until I arrived. When I arrived I saw it was a beautiful large 'lodge like' building in a tranquil, rural area. Intake was detailed, and quick. I can not remember too much of the intake process but I know they were friendly and understanding. My detox started immediately after intake. I was provided a private room. I was medicated and monitored often. After detox, I started a residential program. I was given a personal, clean room. They monitored us less than at detox but still 24/7. It took a bit to get used to the pop ins from the BHT's. Groups were the main activity 8 hours, 7 days a week. You are put into a group of 8-20 people. My group offered engagement and education that I took advantage of. After group we had the option to take advantage of the amenities. Pools, hot tub, workout space, common areas, propane fire pits, pool, darts, video games, art etc. This gave me the option to see that sober fun was possible. I was able to call home, handle my day to day and use my laptop/phone. Having my electronics was very helpful. There was a variety of snacks that ranged from ice cream to healthy options. A good variety of drink options were also available. I was offered a full breakfast, lunch and dinner everyday that included a decent amount of choice. I personally did not ask the cooks for special meals so I can not review the food a vegetarian, or glute-free person would need. I met all types of people of all ages. I saw all types of personalities. I found friends but I had to go around and take action to make those contacts. Not everyone wanted contacted, I respect that. However not everyone was someone I wanted to talk to. They offered on site Dharma and SMART classes as well as off-site AA and NA. I did not attend so I can not review Events and trips were planned on Saturdays and Sunday had church options. Medication was provided in a line with first come service. The lines seemed long at peak times so I learned to go do my meds off peak hours. Therapists were mainly there to handle the paperwork, give references to other programs and calculate CADs. Sessions were about an hour a week. Providers were either virtual or in person. I saw a provider weekly. The provider lines can be long as well so bring your headphones. The discharge went smooth for the most part. I did advocate for myself to make sure it went well. Bullet Points: - Intake: Fast, Friendly - Detox: Heavily monitored and medicated - Resedential: Personal room, program scheduled daily - Amenities: Exactly what is listed - Food: A variety, 3 meals a day and snacks - Meds: First come first serve, peak busy off peak quick - Atmosphere: Focused on sobriety and activities - Staff: Attentive, friendly - Therapists: Lacking direct in person contact - Clarity of the process, routine and Insurance updates were lacking - All around: It was great. learned a lot, met great people.

The negative reviews I have seen is concerning. Every business every rehab every hospital has flaws. You will never find what most of you are looking for which is perfection. I seen a review where the reviewer states there was 150 clients. yet there is not 150 or even close to that amount that is leaving negative reviews. There was even reviews claiming wood violet commits insurance fraud. Common sense would tell you if that was the case they would accept Medicaid and Medicare which is much easier to commit fraud with. Another thing no matter where you go things can slip past staff but if your loved one partakes in it. Then your loved one has to have accountability. If you have a garden then you will also see no matter what you put on it there will always be some weeds that will pop up. Same thing with these centers no matter how many safe guards they put up there will always be something the comes through. Am I saying wood violet is perfect? No. Noone is perfect. But giving the situation the world is in with people not really wanting to work. They do good with what staff they do have.

When I went in last year, I didn't know quite what to expect. I only knew I couldn't function the way I was anymore, and needed help that my parents couldn't give me. The depression, guilt, anger, pain, and anxiety was so overrun in my body and mind that I wasn't able to focus for more than a few minutes. After the first 2 days there, I was able to breathe, calm down, feel hopeful and heard. I talked to a psychiatrist and we started trialing medications to figure out the "cocktail" of meds best suited for me. I got help with my sleeping, leveling out my mood, severe anxiety, and hopelessness, and was able to read a book every day during down time between group classes. I didn't know what to expect, but what I experienced was nothing short of a miracle. It truly saved my life, I can not recall any one person's name, but every single person I met during my stay of not quite 2 weeks was friendly and warm, and made me feel good to be there, not like I did something wrong, or something was wrong with me. We expect too much of ourselves and have too much pride to show weakness in this day and age.. I know I thought that way and it almost broke me, I find myself thanking God at odd times, knowing my life would be severely different today, if I didn't have my parents take me in last year. What a blessing, I am so thankful and will go again much sooner next time if I start to see or feel some signs!
