Went through the residential 28 day program in Ruston last year, had a great experience, my counselor, Nate, was absolutely great and helped me tremendously to see my character flaws and issues which kept me in my addiction. It really helped pave the way on the road of recovery I've been on for almost 14 months! Also the food was deliciously good, feed me as well as my own grandmother would! Highly recommend Lincoln Nova if you are serious about changing your life. After graduating inpatient, I started the intensive outpatient program in Shreveport, my counselor, Layne, is very educated and knowledgeable about addiction and recovery! The entire staff at inpatient and intensive outpatient will do their best to help you if you are serious about your recovery!! They have been a great blessing in my life and I'm extremely grateful to have gone through the program!

Everybody is so nice ! You have to treat them nice in order for you get the same back . I went there not willing to take medication but you have to in order to go home so I took my medicine and I been on it since . My attitude is much better and I thank them everyday I wish I can go be around them every day AND GO HOME EVERYDAY ! But I can’t so I choose keep in check so I don’t have to go back to a place like that again . I was away from my baby for at least 10 days and I didn’t like that so the help was gave and kindness was gave but a place to go back to after treatment is a no 🫶🏾. & for a future patient don’t put your heart to far in it after you leave because they not going follow your social media to keep up with you or nun and their not suppose to so if they tell you don’t take it seriously 🫶🏾

We just completed one a few days ago on how great Dr Christopher Bernaise and his staff are and how much Angel loves him. Dr Bernaise’s rating is not just good, he is great. His rating is excellent on everything and my Down Syndrome daughter Angel loves him and looks forward to her visits with him.He really helps her on her everyday life and what she should do at home and when she has to go out. She has never had a psychiatrist that comes anywhere close to competing with Dr Christopher Bernaise. Please give him all of the praise and of course a great raise on what he does for Glenwood and his patients.

I have been to Edgefield 3 times and I will not go anywhere else for treatment for substance use disorder. The staff is caring and compassionate, attentive to the needs of the clients, and puts the client first. There was a new administrator this time I went, Mr. Bobby Rayford, who I highly commend on his hiring of the new staff. He is a delight to be around and even did my discharge plan for me. His concern for Edgefield being a top notch rehab facility really shows through. Good job on cutting back on the snacks, because many addicts in recovery struggle with weight gain. Thank you Edgefield for another beautiful stay. I will never forget the sunrises and sunsets I saw out there on the bayou. If you are looking for a rehab to meet all of your needs, look no further. This is the place.

Edgefield first caught my attention because of its location and history but upon arrival I was introduced to the compassionate staff that made me feel at home. The repuposed plantation house is such a charm with beautiful chandeliers, fireplaces, and paintings to gaze at between classes, meals, or in the afternoon. The staff was so caring and involved in my recovery process. They genuinely are concerned for the patients and it shines through all of the employees, from the physicians, techs, and lunch room employees. Being set on a quiet bayou with lots of wildlife to observe and appreciate. I recommend a volleyball game during your stay. The food was amazing and filling, so if you are on a diet I suggest passing on the 2 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches they offer as snack. Thank you for helping me so that I could help others.

Love Dr Isherwood, Laura and each person there!! It’s hard finding a Dr or place in general for help when there is so many who have no bed side manner.
