Top 10 Rehab In Crownsville
| Located a half hour away from Baltimore in Crownsville, Maryland, Chrysalis House Crownsville offers residential treatment services to women 18 years of age older. The facility treats individuals who need help recovering from substance use disorder, mental illness, or dual diagnosis. Clients are also allowed to bring their children with them. Addic | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I will rate Chrysalis House based on when I was there and when it was being ran by different staff and Mrs Carisaa was there. Other than that I can not speak for the program after Mrs. Carissa left. When I was there it was tough but it is what i needed. I have never been to a program that actually cared and literally internally got to me dug up some buried issues and I worked on them. Mrs. MELVINA was my counselor, she was amazing. Most of the staff had went through addiction. Mrs Denise was amazzziiinnggg i never felt uncomfortable, leaving my son with them during the day. The whole staff at that time was amazing. Yes, it was very strict, but they did it in a loving way because they did not want us to die. I know countless women
That graduated the Chrysalis House and are still clean. I have ten fifteen, close lifelong friends that I had met at Chrysalis and that are still clean to this day. I have never went to a treatment that had this much success. Like I said, I cannot speak for the new staff, but it sounds like it is still a great program. While I was there and before I left, they were building on the new addition which was beautiful. It was finished before I left but was not open yet. A woman and children's program is needed and I hope that this one is ran as good as it was when I was there.I'm sure it is. I felt so safe with my children. I'll forever be grateful for Mrs. Carissa and all the staff.

I was someone who stayed here for so time almost a year. I know you can't please everyone but they did try to. Most of the residential staff was wonderful very attentive to the clients needs. The two that I felt that went beyond their job was Simone and Melissa I felt very safe and comfortable w them and they are some of the most compassionate, caring staff I have come across I truly believe they are at their job not only for a paycheck but to help. Thank you to all the residential staff. The clinical team here is beyond amazing I am actually lost for words how much the team does. They are all very passionate about their job and they make u feel welcomed and safe . I honestly believe if you are willing to chose recovery Chrysalis House will and can help 💯

From the moment I got on the phone with them, I felt like someone actually heard me . They didn’t push me or judge me—just straight up helped me figure out what I needed. The place had a super chill energy, kind of like a breath of fresh air after all the chaos I’d been through .What hit different was the way they blended structure with real understanding. It wasn’t just "do this, follow that"—they actually asked what worked for me. Big win. I got my head clear, my heart a little lighter, and finally feel like I’m not stuck anymore 🎧.

The enhancements the current leadership team - Quinn, Amber, Ashley - have made to programming, facilities, client services, and most importantly the parent support model have been first class. The work the team does is hard work; hard work is good work and I can attest they are truly the experts. The clinical and nursing leadership are the best in the business and I’ve worked with many. The Sandstone team has done some great work in developing brand new recreational spaces (the Kickback house) and experiential opportunities to supplement what has always been great clinical delivery. The full team - led by Dr Yolanda Rogers and inclusive of the chefs and facilities maintenance team - are an all star care team. Encourage parents who are in need (or even just curious to learn more about the program) to contact the admissions team who are there to help. They may also be able to connect you with others who navigated this difficult experience before from a similar perspective. As a parent or caregiver, it takes bravery to be here and evaluating what to do at this point - think it’s worth reaching out to see if this team can help.

out of all the rehabs i been to this the only one that worked. i’m cali sober, meaning i still smoke and drink, but i don’t do anything else anymore. the only “negative” is that the food sucked but even then we were able to have our parents bring us food. not to add i went in 2023 so i am more than positive they upgraded. all of their staff genuinely care about the patients coming in and out. if you’re considering sending your child to this facility, this is their best option, coming from an individual who spent her life in and out of hospitals and residentials. this is the best place you will ever find.

I stayed inpatient here back in 2018 and the people who worked here helped shape my recovery story today. I didn't realize it then because I was fresh off the street and detoxing but today I can say with much gratitude that its the people who care and work tirelessly to help the patients that make Hope House what it is.

Excellent!!!
I could not have been in a better recovery treatment facility.
With apprehension upon admission, that feeling left as soon as I walked in the door.
The really take their time with you, and help you through every lesson.
I met the most amazing staff members, who treat you with dignity, and compassion.
I completed my recovery and went on to the next phase.
Thanks for everything!

My son has been here before. He is no longer a younger man, n has been to many rehabs. He states this is the best in state of Md. The staff is respectful of the patients needs. Although I can't contact him for encouragement, his counselor makes sure he gets a chance to call home.
