I will rate Chrysalis House based on when I was there and when it was being ran by different staff and Mrs Carisaa was there. Other than that I can not speak for the program after Mrs. Carissa left. When I was there it was tough but it is what i needed. I have never been to a program that actually cared and literally internally got to me dug up some buried issues and I worked on them. Mrs. MELVINA was my counselor, she was amazing. Most of the staff had went through addiction. Mrs Denise was amazzziiinnggg i never felt uncomfortable, leaving my son with them during the day. The whole staff at that time was amazing. Yes, it was very strict, but they did it in a loving way because they did not want us to die. I know countless women That graduated the Chrysalis House and are still clean. I have ten fifteen, close lifelong friends that I had met at Chrysalis and that are still clean to this day. I have never went to a treatment that had this much success. Like I said, I cannot speak for the new staff, but it sounds like it is still a great program.While I was there and before I left, they were building on the new addition which was beautiful.It was finished before I left but was not open yet. A woman and children's program is needed and I hope that this one is ran as good as it was when I was there.I'm sure it is. I felt so safe with my children. I'll forever be grateful for Mrs. Carissa and all the staff.

I was someone who stayed here for so time almost a year. I know you can't please everyone but they did try to. Most of the residential staff was wonderful very attentive to the clients needs. The two that I felt that went beyond their job was Simone and Melissa I felt very safe and comfortable w them and they are some of the most compassionate, caring staff I have come across I truly believe they are at their job not only for a paycheck but to help. Thank you to all the residential staff. The clinical team here is beyond amazing I am actually lost for words how much the team does. They are all very passionate about their job and they make u feel welcomed and safe . I honestly believe if you are willing to chose recovery Chrysalis House will and can help 💯

From the moment I got on the phone with them, I felt like someone actually heard me . They didn’t push me or judge me—just straight up helped me figure out what I needed. The place had a super chill energy, kind of like a breath of fresh air after all the chaos I’d been through .What hit different was the way they blended structure with real understanding. Our family had a wonderful experience at Sandstone. Our teen was making terrible choices and nothing we were doing as parents was working. Sandstone’s whole of person concept of care was everything our family needed. The program provided a personal therapist for our teen; along with twice a day group therapy sessions; pet therapy; nature walks; and fun group outings. They also provided us a family therapist and offered voluntary group therapy sessions for all the parents who currently had teens in the program, which was a great resource and helped my husband and I feel less alone. From the intake to the out processing, my teen reported feeling safe and well cared for and my husband and I shared that sentiment. We were a little nervous going in because of the online reviews, but if your family is struggling with a teen with addiction, we highly recommend this place. Our teen did say that the food was terrible, but I’d rather the food be terrible and the program be excellent than the other way around. Our teen just started college and said the program was a great way to reset and get back on track.

Darlene is runs a tight ship but she goes above and beyond to help folks who oftentimes are too lost in their drug induced hazed to help themselves. People talk trash and put the administration and staff down. Bullshit. I heard so often "man...dis worser than jail man" again I call BULLSHIT! It gets boring true and people get cabin fever and start to go nuts from the boredom but recovery is what you make it and if you don't make it work it will work against you. Healthy habits include healthy self talk. I just want to say some of the biggest complaints made about Gaudenzia were made by the biggest complainers I ever met. If you or your loved ones want to get slearn how to live well then I suggest Gaudenzia Crownsville. I love you Ms.Denise! What's up Wade! My love to all the nurses! Seung Han. This was my 3rd time in rehab. Tranquility woods rehabilitation center helped me find myself and taught me so much about addiction and recovery. The staff at Tranquility woods were very kind and understanding. I was treated with respect and courtesy. The food was great. I have gained about 20 pounds while staying here. The amenities were great. They have salt water pool and gym. For someone who likes working out and needed structure and routine it was a great place for me to recover mentally, physically and also spiritually. They have outings on Saturdays which was great. Went bowling, and go karting. Also did volunteer work for the first time and it felt great. They take you to church on Sundays. I have met and made many friends here and If you are serious about recovery and want to get better I highly recommend Tranquility woods whether it’s your first time or multiple times. Thank you Tranquility woods!

Hands down my favorite recovery place. I've never had people care so much and offer so many different things beyond just classes. They really helped me get on my feet and get to the root of what my addiction stems from. It's a community and everyone feels like family there. My experience from day one, has been extremely positive. I have had support presently and in the past. All the Staff are very positive, supporting and fight for you, when you might need a little more extra help, due to some mental issues or physical, or emotional. They are there for you 100% . I want to mention My Counselor, Ms. D. Herrera... She is the Best, Most, Supportive, Positive, Strong and Caring Counselor-(Drug).... I have ever had. She has been a Drug Counselor and a Therapist for Me all in One. I Love Her with All My Heart!!!!! SHE IS FANTASTIC... THE BEST.. I'M SO BLESSED & GRATEFUL THAT SHE IS A PART... I can't recommend TruHealing enough. If you read negative reviews, take them with a grain of salt—recovery requires rules, and the structure they provide is the reality check most of us desperately need. What can I say im here every six months for routine check-ups. The staff are very friendly, and professional. Sometimes you may experience long wait times when seeing a doctor, however that has rarely happened to me personally. The pharmacy staff are awesome, and very efficient. There is usually minimal to no wait time for prescriptions that have been requested ahead of time, walk in requested prescriptions usually take about 30 mins to fill. There is plenty of seating in every area of the facility, and plenty of sercurity officers to make sure you have a safe and pleasant visit. This facility is wheelchair accessible, kid friendly, and always very clean. Oh also they offer free parking in the garage underneath the building.

CAM has by far been the best program I’ve been on. I was at another program (Cherryhill) for years & that place Hod change your whole energy. I would go in happy, come out in a horrible mood! There were a few good people there like Mrs. Hope & Nurse Michelle & a few good counselors, but at CAM, everyone has been amazing! From the beautiful woman at the front to the nurses & counselors, I am grateful for each one of them. I’ve been clean for 14 years & continue to be clean because of CAM.

I visited Arundel Lodge’s mental health Urgent Care during a mental health/domestic violence crisis where I was unhoused and very unwell. I had been discharged prematurely and without proper treatment by the AAMC ED twice, BWMC ED twice, and Harbor Hospital ED once, even with a ongoing case file from police and Crisis Response, as well as a petition for treatment by an Officer. I was exhausted, sick, diagnosed with ketoacidosis from lack of nutrition and just wanted genuine clinical answers/help and not discrimination. The lovely receptionist immediately treated me with kindness and sympathy when I walked in with my bags, taking them and I back to a room immediately. Dr. Julie Seaman was able to evaluate and prescribe medication for my situation, and for the first time in years, I feel as though I have been prescribed the proper medication regimen for my Bipolar 1. With this care and reassurance, I was able to gather myself and regain control of the situation. Thank you for all you do here at Arundel Lodge. Kindness and compassion goes a long, long way!

Went here as an adolescent and I'm glad to see it's still there and that mark and his adventure therapy is still a thing. I still remember the course. Thank you for helping me. Though I did sadly relapse a few years later. But I'm clean now and I have over ten years under my belt.
