I was 1 of the 1st 10 people when they opened 1970. It was pretty powerful. I remember the meetings the meals., the day my parents came to visit. I remember when I turned 18 they told me I had to leave.??? I The Black Panthers Angela Davis etc..

Washington VA Medical Center delivers respectful, specialized care for veterans. Staff are knowledgeable and supportive, though wait times can vary. Services are comprehensive and reliable.

I just started going here a couple months ago. Dr. Edmonds has been thorough and very helpful to me. Dr. Jordan was very helpful as well. The administrative staff, nurses, and techs have all been polite, professional and helpful. With phone calls, on site appointments, referrals, etc. I think these folks at the Southern PG county clinic are doing a great job helping veterans. Thanks everyone!

I go here, I have since December so it's been 6 months now. And while I like it here and everyone is so nice and kind. Everything moves slow. I understand they have other people and other paperwork being pushed through, I've just personally never been to a clinic that is this slow with process paperwork. Like every 30 days you're eligible for phasing up if you're doing good and everything looks good clean urines etc I've had clean Urines for almost 2 1/2 years and been here 6 months and STILL coming in twice a week. The last clinic I was at I had already gotten 2 weeks take homes by the time I was going on my 3rd month! So if paperwork could get processed faster this place would be great! So for that reason I'm only giving 4 starts!

I've been a client here for awhile....I just read some of the reviews left by former clients & employees... most if not all of the problems they listed either have been dealt with.... or did not occur in suite 201....now suite 101....I don't go there so I can't say... but wait times have improved significantly upstairs, I'm very happy with my current counselor, Ms Betty...and hope things stay this way.

I been at med mark 5 years and I really love the treatment they provide. Thanks for the professional work your staffs do to keep me healthy and updated with my treatment..such as both Ms.Tiffanys starting at the front desk to the medical assistant office.Also the Dispensing nurse's ms.kelsci, Ms mia and Ms.Deneen.

Had my first Audiology appt today. It was very pleasant. Everyone was very nice and helpful.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. What this place needs to understand is that some people going through detox are not able to eat the same food as others. I was fine for the first few days and the last dinner I had really messed up my stomach, and I mean BAD. I'm 100% sure that I got food poisoning. I was throwing up all night and all day, not to mention I threw up my detox medicine. I know my body and I know one simple ginger ale Would have done the trick. It always helps my stomach when I'm throwing up. Everyone and their mother knows ginger calms your stomach. This place has 0 ginger ale or crackers for people who can't hold down food. They'll feed you old chicken and cheeseburgers and pasta salad all day though. I'm not ungrateful but something so small as a ginger ale would have kept me in treatment. There was no compassion at all. Just everyone telling you to wait a second which turns into hours. I left early, went home and had a ginger ale and felt better in 20 minutes. It's a shame. There were plenty of girls that had ginger ale and a staff could have easily asked if one of the new girls could have one because she was sick and I'm sure they would have complied. I was new so I didn't know anyone on that level. All they give for you to drink is some koolaide with a thousand pounds of sugar in it. Thanks for trying I guess. Mike was nice and so was Hayworth along with a couple others but some staff was just very rude and mean. You think they would have more compassion working in the field that they are working in. I'm going to Arms Acres upstate and hopefully I'll have a better experience .

Sasha was amazing 👏 she did the intake for a family member that has medical ailments and addiction. They are accommodating my cousins medications and treating her alcoholism. I am so grateful 🙏

Well- very good methadone program. You are assigned a counselor. You attend groups to help keep you sober. They do drug test with surprise drug test weekly monthly depending on how long you have been with the program and if your urine are clean. They understand relapses happen. My favorite part is if you give clean urines-see your counselor-go to groups-report to recalls- you do earn take homes. You start out coming to medmark 6 days a week. But you can earn take homes after a few months and only have to come in every 2 weeks or once a month. Best decision of my life.

I'm a patient with Dr Liang who works for the Center for Transgender and expansive health and let me just say that the magic she worked on my phalloplasty is beyond what I expected! She is amazing, listens well and will provide all the information she can if you have any questions. She will even break down medical terms and explain it if need be. I HIGHLY recommend her to any one looking into getting surgery.
