In the 2nd and 3rd phase of recovery, I was treated by the Gaithersburg Freedom Center for PHP and IOP. Each set up a structure that enabled me to continue moving forward on my own once the processes were complete. The facilities were kept orderly and the staff were all professional and took the time to address the root cause of my personal issues.

Came to the site to do a tour of the facility. Met the clinical director for the tour, would have given 5 stars but the front desk area was very messy and had a strange odor. This should be addressed soon since it is the first thing you see as you enter.

This is a greatClinic. Very clean, neat and orderly. The staff is very hospitable and welcomes you with open arms. They’re easy to talk to and very friendly and make you feel like you’re talking to one of your closest friend(s) that you can share anything with. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone that has Teenagers that’s going through any kind of mental issues and need someone to talk to. If there were some kind of way to give them a 10 star rating I would.

As someone who goes to this place every week, I am happy to say that everyone that is in this organization is so kind and caring; they make me feel welcomed, and they do their best to help me if I am in need.

All of the staff is wonderful from the house monitors to the counselors to the managers and the owner I wanna point out Mrs Lopez and mr weaver they are wonderful and god sent for real everything that they do for us clients reflects upon our greatness I also wanna recognize Mrs Lakeya she is gods gift in conclusion this program is the best and I recommend anybody who is serious about their recovery and wanna get back on track look into it asap dr Campbell thanks for everything that u do and may god continue to bless u and bring u joy and happiness

Would HIGHLY recommend exploring treatment options with Kolmac if you’re ready to step into your recovery. ❤️‍🩹 I completed the 90(ish) day IOP program attending online group sessions three times a week for three hours in addition to individual medical appts/medication management and individual treatment plan planning. I had the incredible pleasure of working with Lisa S as my group counselor. She was professional, compassionate and understanding of the needs of her group members. She maintained a healthy and safe environment for us to all lean into the process at our own pace and found ways to relate to everyone regardless of situation. My medical/medication management was also all handled via telehealth. I felt heard when discussing my apprehension to some medications and was made to feel like the process to improve my health and the decisions being made around it were collaborative. Katelyn was my individual counselor and assisted me with developing my treatment plan. She is an absolute sweetheart and though early in her career was able to provide guidance and encouragement that felt beyond her years. I am actively transitioning to their continuing care program and look forward to seeing how far I can go with such a strong team behind me. 97 days!!!

I stayed inpatient here back in 2018 and the people who worked here helped shape my recovery story today. I didn't realize it then because I was fresh off the street and detoxing but today I can say with much gratitude that its the people who care and work tirelessly to help the patients that make Hope House what it is.

Excellent!!! I could not have been in a better recovery treatment facility. With apprehension upon admission, that feeling left as soon as I walked in the door. The really take their time with you, and help you through every lesson. I met the most amazing staff members, who treat you with dignity, and compassion. I completed my recovery and went on to the next phase. Thanks for everything!

So in my time at the Tuerk house programs so far I believe there is potential everywhere has its ups n downs but this place is definitely better than most of places I’ve been and I can’t count how many places I’ve been in the last 10 plus years

5 star recovery from Detox to coming into the Nilsson House. One thing I like about this place is the groups and the other gentlemen I get to do recovery with. I also like the activities. Also the preparation to be a very good member of society once I live this house place

Going to CFD McLean for ARFID treatment saved my life. When I entered the facility, I was a shell of myself and had zero 'safe' foods; with the support of all the staff, this number quickly grew to 50+. Specifically for ARFID, this facility is equipped and incredibly knowledgeable + understand the severity of this ED. They are also incredibly knowledgeable of Celiac disease and food allergies + sensitivities. The staff goes above and beyond to make the environment safe during meals, exposures, in the communal area and kitchen, group sessions, individual therapy, nutrionally, etc - anywhere where there is a potential trigger for ARFID. Exposures to 'new' foods are done safely and with support from the staff. I will call out that Specifically, Scott is phenomenal at supporting and guiding patients through food exposures. Anna (dietician) does everything in her power and more to assure that the care plan is tailored to needs and is balanced. She is also a master at collaborating with other care team members to make sure that patients are well supported. Kathy as a therapist truly understands ARFID and tailors all therapy to make sure that a patient is going to be able to meet goals and is supported through all the moments: highs, lows, amd everything in between. I need to credit Scott, a tech, for singlehandedly saving me. His care, willingness to support through all the moments, guidance, and consistent support is why I was able to get back on my feet - he is truly 1 in a million and CFD is the luckiest to have such a kind, passionate, and caring staff member on their team. Every single staff member at CFD cares and patients can literally feel it through their advocacy, support, guidance, and everything in between. Amanda, Kayla, Jennifer, Liz, Emily K, Emily R, Ona, Dr.Irving were also instrumental in getting me back on my feet. Highly recommend CFD McLean to anyone seeking residential ED treatment!

Center for Discovery has done everything under the sun for me. I was there for 8 weeks before being stepped to a psychiatric unit. The 8 weeks i spent there were rough for me, but the team did everything in their power to help me. As I neared the point of having to leave the facility, everyone truly did everything in their power to allow me to stay. Even though I do have to leave for the time being, I really do hope to return once I am able to. Amanda, Emily R, and Liz were all amazing and are some of the best people out there.
