I just started going here a couple months ago. Dr. Edmonds has been thorough and very helpful to me. Dr. Jordan was very helpful as well. The administrative staff, nurses, and techs have all been polite, professional and helpful. With phone calls, on site appointments, referrals, etc. I think these folks at the Southern PG county clinic are doing a great job helping veterans. Thanks everyone!

Getting help for your substance use is very personal and personalized. Everybody is gonna have different experiences. While asking for help and following through is not easy or necessarily fun, the team you work with is going to help you a lot. Sandstone helped me with the building blocks I needed to be alive today. This was my first time in treatment. Honestly, it completely changed my life. The bonds that I ve made in this place, the sober network I ve built, getting my psych meds right, the entire staff and facilitators- have all been such an extraordinary experience for me. I never understood the difference between just being sober/clean versus actually working a program/recovery. RU has helped me to understand that recovery goes beyond clean time- and it s about changing who you are for the better and continuing to progress as a person overall. They definitely were able to reach the root of my alcohol addiction and help put forth a plan for my continued success. I am almost 3 months sober and truly haven't felt better in my life. My son has been here before. He is no longer a younger man, n has been to many rehabs. He states this is the best in state of Md. The staff is respectful of the patients needs. Although I can't contact him for encouragement, his counselor makes sure he gets a chance to call home.

I went in for an ear procedure; I had a Sebaceous cyst removal, and the staff was incredibly friendly and efficient from the moment I met with Dr. Deng and her staff, and it felt like home - they're the best. No exaggeration, everyone is extremely professional and nice. It's quite a comfortable experience. I was pleasantly at ease. They handled me with the care as if I were a loved one. Dr. Deng and her staff were so informative, explaining everything to me. I was so impressed with my entire experience.

Had a great experience at the DC VA hospital. I went to the ER for a foreign object in my eye. They were amazing I ended up getting an emergency appointment with a MD optometrist two hrs later I was heading home with object removed and antibiotics in hand. Top notch ER doctor and optometrist Doctor.

I have taken several program participants to various medical and mental health appointments over the years both in Virginia and in Maryland and was hands down super impressed with the staff at the CSB juvenile, adult, and emergency services. There was quite a wait for emergency services but each department communicated with each other and was so polite. Brian Stewart is one of the few names that we caught but he was phenomenal. The staff checked on us, fed us, and gave us blankets. We saw them touching base with some individuals who were clearly in crisis and they were just so patient and caring. Dr. Smith was our emergency services doc and I wish he could see people regularly because he was funny and he made my program participant feel heard. I have been with an individual to the primary care as well and enjoyed the collaboration with DO Pristell.
