I can't say enough good things about this facility and its incredible staff. My experience here was truly life changing. From the very beginning I felt welcomed, understood, and supported in a way I honestly wasn't prepared for. It was my first time seeking therapy for addiction so I wasn't entirely sure what it would look like- but now 6 months sober I can say with confidence this facility goes above and beyond. What truly stood out for me was the therapy. Every day felt different which kept things engaging and meaningful. It never felt like "one size fits all". Over my time there, it became more than just treatment- it felt like being surrounded by a close group of friends whole truly cared about each other's growth and healing. And I loved how much the facilitators were always so willing to pivot based on the group's needs. When the weather was nice, nature walks were awesome to clear my head... and group outings were so important in early recovery to start doing the "normal" things again, but with help ready at the standby. And when I say this was a judgement free zone, there was never even a second I felt uncomfortable sharing things I might not in a different setting. Recovery isn't easy, but being in an environment like this made a huge difference. This place helped me get my life back and I'm so incredibly grateful for the staff, the program and the connections I made along the way. If you are considering getting help, I could not recommend this facility more.

I was a little bit put off with the intake process. The woman was kind of rude. BUT....it was worth it. They got my son in to see someone in a week which is amazing. The counseling thus far has been a great success. The person he is working with is amazing and is very good at connecting with him which can be hard with teenagers. I have seen nothing but positive changes with him since we started coming here. I would definitely recommend it. Don't let the initial process scare you off!

I am truly grateful for Springhill Recovery. Immediately I was made to feel at ease, safe & secure. I quickly realized that I was in competent, caring hands with all of the staff that I met. I learned so much about myself here! I can see where I need to work on a few things and I now have some of the tools to do that, thanks to the amazing groups, clinicians, RS staff & case managers at Springhill. Its hard to put into words how much Paramount changed my life. Ive been in a few treatment facilities over the years but this one has a different feel to it. From day one I felt like I was in the right place because the staff made it a point to welcome me and made me feel comfortable. I found all the groups very beneficial and the focus of mental illness and addiction made a huge impact on me. After completion of treatment I know I'm on the right path. Its going to be a life long journey but Paramount gave me the tools I need to succeed. Much love and gratitude to all the Staff at paramount. I plan on keeping in Paramount in my life!

I really can't say enough about Paramount, I just finished my treatment there, and I have tremendous gratitude for all of the staff for being a part of my recovery journey. I was overwhelmed that first day right after detox with all that happened with initially getting clean, but the staff is obviously well practiced at putting their new clients at ease. Loved the groups and their curriculum, it's clear they continually evaluate what works well and they listen to feedback. I felt like I was extremely well matched to my therapist and I made a lot of headway into having insight to my addiction and issues surrounding my relapses. I feel very well equipped after finishing the program to continue with my recovery and get my life back

Been here twice if I'm honest. I can't recommend NFA enough. Sober since 6/10/25, the program works if you actually WANT to get better. The staff are nice, the food is good, the living situation does require patience but overall it is good. You will be accepted into a community and your case manager will help you out with resources. As long as you follow the rules (which isn't hard at all) you will get along fine here and even then you really have to go out of your way to get kicked out.

From the moment I walked through the doors, I was treated with genuine kindness and respect. What really sets this recovery center apart is the staff. They don’t make you feel like just another client. They make you feel like you’re one of their friends. Every conversation felt real, and it was obvious they truly cared about my well-being, both inside and outside of treatment. The staff created an environment where I felt comfortable opening up without fear of being judged. They were always there to listen, offer encouragement, and celebrate every step of progress, no matter how small. Their compassion, patience, and sense of humor made some of the hardest days much easier to get through. Recovery has never been easy, but having people who genuinely believe in you makes all the difference. The friendships and support I found here gave me hope when I needed it most. This is the best recovery program ever!!! Staff is top notch here. After leaving a 30 day rehab I entered this outpatient program and I can't say enough. I love everyone there, their professionalism and their passion. I would highly recommend anyone in need of help to go to Topsail.

I’m two and a half years clean thanks to this place. To keep it short, I left detox and went to another facility that was extremely strict about AA and pushed it in a way that didn’t work for me. When I expressed that, it became an issue, so I chose to leave.. leaving was difficulty the other facility made me walk miles and miles before allowing myself a cell phone and left my stranded in the middle of nowhere. I got the courage after leaving to find another facility and CHOOSE NOT TO GO BACK TO THE LIFESTYLE I ONCE HAD. Finding Mayflower made all the difference. I appreciated that they allowed a more balanced, normal routine outside of meetings—you could relax, watch TV, do crafts, play basketball, and still focus on recovery. They also offered a different approach to sobriety that felt more supportive and personalized. What really stood out was the medical staff—they were always there when I needed them and made me feel comfortable throughout the process. This was my first time getting sober, and I’ve stayed sober ever since because of this place.. great food as well. I’m so thankful for this place because without them I don’t know where I would be today. If one place isn’t a fit for you in recovery please find the next place and do not give up!

would get 5 stars if one bht didn’t make me feel uncomfortable and didn’t act so hostile towards me. when this bht was working i felt uncomfortable to talk to her, or even do anything in front of her because she made it show she didn’t like me. but besides that it was great.

The program itself is engaging, interactive, and thoughtfully designed. Rather than simply presenting information, the staff fosters meaningful discussions and provides practical tools and coping strategies that can be applied in everyday life. I am also grateful for the outstanding support provided by the entire team, including Zhenya, Noah, Kayla, Macy, Julia, Cecilia, Tony, Thespina, and Annemarie. Every staff member contributed to creating a welcoming, supportive, and recovery-focused environment. A special thank you to Caroline for organizing the outstanding Super Saturdays. When I decided that 48 years was enough of living in a bottle and a spoon, I began to research what exactly I needed to do to get to a stage where I could put my life on hold, hire enough of the right people to handle my affairs while I was away. After accomplishing that, I boarded a plane to Boston 04-19-26 and arrived at Hillside detox and recovery program safely where I was treated like royalty. After 30 days, they convinced me to further my experience, knowledge, and skills for a successful life of soberiety by going to Woburn Wellness. Honestly, it is one of the best decisions I've ever made. At Woburn, I attended the daily groups. At first I didn't understand how the groups could possibly help me go home to a wife that drinks, and remain sober. But the longer I not only attended, but actively participate in the program, the stronger I felt about my soberiety. I was also blessed to stay at the Sober House in Stoneham. The accommodations at these 2 blessings were nothing like the 10 star treatment I got used to at Hillside. But they were perfect for this stage in my journey because they were realistic for life in the real world. [ ] Jasmine was my go to for everything. She treated me like royalty. I'm not going to try and play favoritism with the staff at Woburn Wellness because they all are my favorites. I love and miss each of them. From Ray the Driver, for always getting me to put on my positive attitude, every morning, to Violet who made sure my meds were filled, to Jaun, my Rockstar, Sean, the Big dog who was also full of wisdom (and a little bit of bs.🤣). My Southern Belle, Laura, who is my Clinician, (she is vital to my soberiety by keeping me thinking, and giving me ideas, even now that I'm home). Caroline who always is high on happy pills, and we have a bonded agreement that we shook on, and It's something that I take very serious, and very rarely offer it, is special in her own ways. Noah is a beast, but a gentle giant that best not get anymore bad haircuts. Zhenya is the sweetest lady until you merge into a subject she doesn't approve of. But even her reprimands are done gently yet stern. I could go on praising the staff but I would be remiss if I don't talk about the group. Obviously I can't mention names or discussions we had. But I consider each one of them extremely lucky to be part of Woburn, especially myself. The staff and group members will always hold a very special place in my heart. [ ] Should I relapse, it would be solely for the purpose of going back to Hillside, then Woburn and the sober house, to spend time with my extended family. God bless each member of staff, the group members, everyone at Hillside and everyone at Stoneham Sober house. If you're serious about getting Clean and sober, then I strongly recommend you start at Hillside and then go to Woburn. You will leave a completely new person. I know I did. May Christ Jesus support you in you Soberiety and bless you with this program

This place was great I went here the staff went above and. Beyond to help me get to the place I choose for further treatment they also got me multiple things I needed like clothes and cosmetics literature for the 12 step program I do! The groups were good. The clinical staff was very good to me and made me feel at home! Also there's tvs in the room so that was cool when I had nothing going on and the smoke breaks were just enough. And spaced very good! If have to go any where again its gonna be here!

I've been at Merrick Street for nearly a year, and my experince has been truly amazing. Spectrum staff members are caring, well-educated and passionate about helping each client on an individual basis. The level of care far exceeds that of other programs. I started my 'journey' at Sisters of Providence in Holyoke, and (apart from my clinician -- who was amazing!), it felt like conveyor-belt-style care. Now, that was a 2-hour round-trip commute every morning, but Information about Spectrum (20 minutes away) was hidden from me (despite my inquiries) for months because it was a separate organization and they likely didn't want to lose me as a paycheck -- I mean patient. Spectrum is the total opposite. It has changed my life. I wasted years fearing a program, and the stigma attached. But I realized-- since I was already dealing with the stigma of having fibromyalgia and chronic pain, it made no difference, and I needed to try -- for me. Since entering, I have met so many incredible people, shared and heard many incredible stories, and in a way, I am proud to be part of something so positive.
