My experience with Engage has been nothing but the best! The staff made me feel supported and understood from my first day there, and they truly care about each person’s individual recovery journey. The staff and group sessions helped me open up, learn healthy coping skills, and rebuild my self-confidence. This program gave me the tools and support I really needed to stay sober and start building a better future for myself. Thank you all!!!!!!

I was a little bit put off with the intake process. The woman was kind of rude. BUT....it was worth it. They got my son in to see someone in a week which is amazing. The counseling thus far has been a great success. The person he is working with is amazing and is very good at connecting with him which can be hard with teenagers. I have seen nothing but positive changes with him since we started coming here. I would definitely recommend it. Don't let the initial process scare you off!

Green Mountain Treatment Center saved my life. I was sick and scared when I arrived, but the transformation that occurred for me during the 80 days I spent on the mountain was nothing short of a miracle. I quickly recognized that hard work on my part needed to be done, or I'd be miserable and missing out on the gifts of the program. Thankfully, there is an incredible staff in place who walked with me through the introspection I had to do and showed me that recovery was possible. I marked 5 months sober yesterday and I truly believe that God removed my alcoholic obsession while I was on the mountain. Everyone's experience is different and I can only speak of my own, but I personally could not see myself succeeding as I did in any other facility. I'll be thankful to Green Mountain for the rest of my life.

My experience at Mayflower Recovery was exceptional from start to finish. The staff is compassionate, knowledgeable, and truly dedicated to helping people begin their journey to recovery. From the moment I arrived, I felt supported, respected, and cared for on a personal level. The facility is clean, comfortable, and designed to create a peaceful environment that makes healing feel possible. The clinical team provides individualized treatment plans, and the counselors genuinely listen and help you work through the underlying issues—not just the symptoms. The group sessions were meaningful, the one-on-one support was outstanding, and the medical staff was attentive and professional. What stood out the most was the sense of community. You never feel alone here—everyone works together to lift each other up. I left Mayflower with tools, confidence, and hope for the future. What a life changing experience! I have too many good things to say to list them all here. The buildings and the grounds are new and well maintained. The staff are all wonderful and go above and beyond for every client. I got to see first hand how hard everyone, frome the cleaning staff on up to the directors how hard they work for us and how much they care. The clinical staff are so knowledgeable and caring. I felt like everyone there was working on all my issues with such a drive and the highest level of competency. The recovery specialists do a food job of fostering a positive and safe group culture. I was especially impressed with Katie, who's commitment to the clients was demonstrated daily by her caring, upbeat, positive nature and willingness to go above and beyond for every client, all day, everyday. A big thank you to Katie and to Rose, Erin, Nikki and all the others who helped me change my life so drastically for the better in such a short 28 days. There are recovery centers out there doing good work and recovery centers doing great work. This place is doing phenomenal work. They help people make lasting changes in their lives. Thank you all!

This is a wonderful detox and treatment center! They will get you sober and give you the tools and resources that you’ll need to stay sober. Kind, caring, knowledgeable people (Case Managers, Recovery Specialists, nurses, food service staff, cleaning staff), nice, clean facilities, good food! Couldn’t ask for more. The folks at NERC truly care about you and your recovery. Special shout-out to Case Managers Sara, Tara, Brittany, Grace and Diana, as well as Recovery Specialists Pam, Gretchen, Danny, Nikki, Nikyrah, Esmeralda, Lauren, and all others whom I haven’t mentioned by name. Rose is an amazing family therapist. There are a lot of great, caring folks working here who truly want to help you! They also offer free, confidential family support through their Magnolia program. I highly recommend New England Recovery Center for detox and Clinical Stabilization Service (CSS).

I’m currently in blue hills care and have been since may. I was very resistant in the beginning but they are the first PHP program to break down my stubborn walls and help me become open minded to recovering and choosing to improve my mental health for myself. Jodi the clinical director takes time out her to talk to every single client no matter the time. All of the staff that work here have the clients best heart at interest. I relasped and blue hills took me back and I’m better than ever. I’m applying for a job and getting my life back from domestic violence and 22 years of mental illness. I came into this program as an older woman, scared and unsure of what to expect. This was my very first time in treatment, and after coming from an inpatient program where I honestly felt like I was treated more like an animal than a person, I didn’t know what I was walking into. From the first day, the staff and clients made me feel welcome and safe. I wasn’t seen as just a diagnosis here, I was seen as a human being. That meant everything to me. The groups were supportive, the staff truly cared, and I felt like my voice mattered. This program gave me hope and reminded me that healing is possible at any age. I’m grateful I came here and would recommend it to anyone who feels nervous about starting treatment.

If you are ready to accept help & want to make a positive change in your life you should definitely call them. I go to the Peabody clinic & it has been a great experience. Honestly I had no expectations I think except maybe I was just another number walking through the door & that has been the furthest thing from the truth. Everyone, I mean Everyone has been amazing. They care, I honestly believe that. They want to see you succeed in your recovery. When you walk in they remember you name, they are all very pleasant, which helps me so much going to a place that have a great staff. The security staff always smile & remember peoples names (incredible), the front desk are great, they are welcoming & funny, the nurses are always very pleasant & interact with you. I have the best counselor. She is amazing & so easy to talk to. She has been a rock for me in my recovery, I can’t say enough about her. I have interacted a bit with the head counselor too & she has gone out of her way to help me when she was slammed with work & it’s when I was new to the clinic. I really appreciated that. I just want to mention the director. She has been wonderful wherever I have interacted when her. She has been pleasant, calls me by my name which is impressive to me anyway because I don’t see her much, but she remembers my name just the same. That says a lot to me about the type of person that leads the clinic. As you can tell I am a big fan of the place. They have helped me tremendously in getting over this mountain that I have been struggling with for a decade or so. When I see some of these negative reviews I don’t think it’s how 99.99% of the people going there feel. Most people only write reviews to complain. This clinic has i believe over 600 patients. Honestly if you are having a bad situation where you are not happy it’s most likely because you messed up and are paying the consequences for your own actions. We are in this clinic to begin with because of bad decisions, bad roads we chose to take. The rules won’t change from the day you decide to join to your last day after you complete the program. If you take care of your end of the deal they will live up to their end. Even if you relapse they will be there to pick you back up, encourage you and stick by you as long as it takes. I give a ton of credit & really appreciate the work that these people do. If you want help, call .. they will help you like they have everyone else.

META changed my life, hands down. I was so skeptical going into the program, especially with a mental health focus instead of addiction. Now I wish I never had to leave! The staff instantly make you feel like you belong and you’re exactly where you need to be. I built my confidence back up and learned so many skill! The DBT approach was more helpful to me than any 1:1 therapy I had tried before. Building community and support in the group model was also very powerful. If you’re not sure about going, I’m here to say you should give it a try. You won’t regret it! -R!

I was at a near breaking point with my mental health when I found Meta for a mental health IOP program. I've always been hesitant about seeking care with outpatient programs due to seeing friends who said the care made them feel worse. My psychiatric NP was worried because most facilities near me had waitlists of up to a month. I was drowning. Desperate, I reached out to one of their facilities who directed me to Meta, who took my insurance. When they say they can see if your insurance covers the care within an hour, they absolutely mean it. When beginning the intake process the staff was nothing but encouraging. By the end of the day, I already had the intake process started. Beginning the program was fast as I was able to start immediately. Their NP team was so helpful with helping me file for PFML. You can attend in person or join on Zoom. This was such a relief as Meta is an hour and a half away from me. Meta provides the most accessible mental health program I have seen. I also can't say enough about the care team. There's a blend of advice from people who want to see you grow. Groups are the best with Kayla's sharp insight and Liz's gentle guidance. Not only am I able to connect with my therapists, but others who are also seeking support. I'll be taking friendships with me when my time with Meta comes to a close. If you are on the fence about reaching out for professional support, come to Meta. It truly has been a wonderful experience.

I've struggled with my mental health for most of my life and always kept afloat one way or another, but Meta was the biggest turning point for me. I've felt so supported everyday while given an environment I felt safe in to heal. They've given me knowledge and coping skills that I will carry with me throughout my life. I'm very grateful to the Meta team and everyone I've met through them. For the first time since I was a kid I feel like I'm living and not just holding on.

Title: Exceptional Care and Support During Challenging Times I recently had the privilege of experiencing the exemplary service provided by Spectrum Medical during a particularly challenging period of illness. From the moment I initiated contact, their intake process demonstrated efficiency and compassion, alleviating much of the stress associated with seeking medical assistance while unwell. In particular, Brooke, a member of their team, exhibited an exceptional level of professionalism, attentiveness, and support throughout our interactions. Her dedication to ensuring my needs were met was evident, as she promptly scheduled appointments and provided invaluable assistance with navigating MA insurance, easing the burden of administrative tasks during a time of vulnerability. For individuals grappling with dependency issues, I wholeheartedly recommend Spectrum and their outstanding team. Their commitment to excellence in care, coupled with a compassionate approach, undoubtedly makes them a beacon of hope for those in need of support and guidance during challenging times. With love and respect 🫡 I.D

The place saved my life and gave me the opportunity to stop and take 6 months and do what I had to live a new way. I fell down a few times after leaving but Nov 8 will be 6 years clean and I owe alot to the Channing House and my Channing Brothers. RIP JUSTIN

Channing House, which is a Halfway House now operated by Advocates, is probably the most successful men's substance abuse house in Worcester County and probably one of the 5 best or most successful programs in Massachusetts. It is a fully accredited 6 month substance abuse residential program. However, they let me stay for 8 1/2 months because the staff agreed with me that I wasn't ready yet. I've been to well over 25 halfway houses and at least 15 different sober houses...and Channing House is by far the best and most successful program in Worcester County.

This past summer I attended HRI's Women's Ascend program, and my experience was nothing short of being such an incredibly healing environment that instilled a newfound sense of hope at a time when I felt the complete opposite. Vivian, my assigned Nurse Practitioner, played such an instrumental role in my healing journey, and I am so incredibly grateful to have had the opportunity to have her as my Nurse Practitioner. She truly raised the bar of my expectations in terms of medication management as well as the clinical aspects of my mental health treatment. Being in her care allowed me to be a witness to a level of professionalism, advocacy, and empathy towards mine (and other patient’s) mental health recovery in ways that I hadn’t experienced with any NP/PHMP I’ve worked with before. In addition, HRI's Ascend Program simply wouldn't be the healing space it is for women of color without the continuous arduous efforts of Alexandria as well!! On a daily basis, Vivian and Alex brought forth a level of representation that is so essential in successfully fostering a safe and encouraging environment for all the women of color at Ascend. I personally always felt so seen, so heard, and so cared for. I truly believe the progress I’ve made this summer serves as a testament to all of the hard Vivian, Alex (and the wonderful summer interns) had put in, day in and day out this summer. I am incredibly grateful, and for anyone - especially women of color - are looking for a healing space to truly dedicate healing towards your mental health- you've found the right place!!

The Ascend program was a wonderful, massively helpful space to receive support and care. I found community with people who have lived through and could validate some of my own experiences, and we learned from each other every day in ways that I never anticipated. We built concrete skills to help us manage our mental health needs, but we also met human beings who were cheering s on every step of our journey. I've very highly recommend this program to femmes of color who need support. You won't find a better group of people to guide you back to what it means to stand on your own two feet in this very complicated, very painful world. This program would not exist without the massively incredible leadership of Alexandria. She is the most incredible clinician I have every encountered. She cares about the Ascend program and making sure that it is a space for for participants to learn skills, build community, and grow. She's an empathetic clinician both for the clients on her individual roster and the large group sessions as a whole. She knows the DBT skills backwards, forwards, upside down, with eyes closed, and with her hands tied behind her back. She has the ability to explain these skills in ways that are accessible for all types of learners and make sure that the cohort finds concrete ways to translate the skills into their personal life experiences. She's also able to do all of this while being an absolute tech wizard on the computer to make sure that community guidelines are followed on zoom, slides are shared, and validate the thoughts of feelings that participants share with the group all at the same time. There's no one else like Alexandria. She is the reason the Ascend program exists. And HRI is EXTREMELY lucky to have her on their staff. But more than that, the Ascend program participants have the privilege of knowing her. Vivian is an incredible nurse practitioner who helps run the program. She maintains the culture of firm but empathetic care for the Ascend participants. She listens to everyone's daily challenges in addition to the chronic trauma experienced by her patients. When people need someone to listen to them 1-1 or check in about some of the group content they're learning and struggling with, her door is always open for a chat during breaks or over lunch. She's a wiz when it comes to thinking of medications at the drop of a hat that may help treat certain symptoms or support a patients' current medication regiment. And if a prescription isn't working, she's quick to think of other medications that can help. She cares so much about the wellbeing of everyone who walks in her office, and they are better off for it.

Great, great place for young men to get back on there feet and a fresh start! The whole program is amazing, staff, facility, especially the food with their own chef cooking! Teachers are exceptional and have experience with special education services. I had been involved with several other facilities before our family got to Center point for young men and was very unhappy with what we went thru, but when we got here this place was 100 percent different and I just don't have enough time for all the good things I can say and the changes it has made in my child's life.

Centerpoint changed our lives for the better! Our families experience at Centerpoint was nothing but positive. We were referred to Centerpoint by the Department of Mental Health after 18 ART/CBAT admissions. I have to admit at first I was hesitant as the program is long term and, no one wants their child away from home for that long. After much deliberation and thought we agreed to the admission. It’s not easy to agree to this level of care, often times heart breaking but, we knew our son was suffering and no other treatment seemed to be effective for longer than a few months. It’s hard work and you are asked to participate in weekly family therapy where you have to be open and honest and tackle all of the issue which lead to this level of care. My son, my husband and I committed ourselves to this and boy did it work. It wasn’t easy, it was emotionally challenging and having to drag up things from the past was less than desirable. We learned how to effectively communicate with each other which was the foundation of our son getting better. If you and your child embrace the program it works! The staff was always very accommodating, kind, caring and well trained. You can tell that they are experts in their field. Each child is different and they made it their mission to learn our sons behaviors and personality so they could make him feel comfortable, safe and that he could trust them. Since discharge our son has thrived socially, emotionally and academically. He has learned to use the skills that were taught at Centerpoint which has effectively ended the vicious cycle of short term hospitalization. When considering an IRTP I would strongly recommend Centerpoint!!

This 5 star review is for the anesthesiologist who did my procedure in the endoscopy unit Dr. Catherine Buzney. I wanted to give a heartfelt shout-out to her, she was absolutely wonderful—she had an incredible bedside manner. I was so nervous going in, and she instantly put me at ease. We even shared a few laughs, and she made me feel truly cared for. Her kindness made all the difference. The hospital itself is beautiful inside and I appreciated how peaceful the atmosphere was—none of the chaotic feeling that some hospitals can have.

Wow, what a completely different experience than I have been used to! I am new to the area and I am accustomed to UMass Memorial and University campuses in Worcester. I was a amazed by the doctor and staff at the Concord ER. I saw Dr Curcio almost immediately, with frequent check-ins. At UMass I would be lucky to see the doctor until discharge! He checked out some extras" that popped up, one being gall stones, that were unrelated to the visit. Well...I was just in ICU/Acute @ UMass for a minute and nothing was EVER said about gallstones, even though I was in for the same reason and had a repeat of the same tests! I am truly floored and amazed at the wonderful care I received on a Friday afternoon. I have told everyone to only come here! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
