This place saved my life! Everyone was so nice and understanding. I highly recommend them for detox and those interested in recovery. 5 years sober update.. I saw that I had written a review and thought it would might be helpful to give an updated recommendation. It’s been close to 5 1:2 years since I left Swift River the last time.. my life has completely changed! I’m working in the recovery field working on my counseling credentials, buying a second home! Going on a summer vacations and lost over 100lbs!! .Just a few things that would never have come if I hadn’t decided to make a change and call Swift River. I spent years in and out of treatment.. never give up!!!

This place is amazing! They are respectful, polite, and go out of the way to help you. Clients I take care of in the community have nothing but great things to say ! Went to nauseous Due to taking my regular medication on an empty stomach today and gave me crackers, water, and went out of their way to handle insurance company! Huge shout out to the ladies at the front desk and what I assume is the MA Doing labs? She’s the one who went out of her way to make sure I was not nauseous today - very sweet people who care !

On Saturdays it says that the clinic is open at 5:30 AM. This is incorrect. The clinic opens at 7 AM on Saturdays closed on Sunday. Just wanted to make this public so that people can see it.

This clinic is NOT like the others. They are fast, friendly and more helpful and accommodating than other clinics. A few things could be tweaked a little bit, but most can be addressed with your counselor if needed. Office Staff, Security, and the Medical Staff are TOP NOTCH! At this clinic there is NO REASON NOT TO GET HELP!!

I've been to a few methadone clinics due to moving. And this one is by far the best one yet. They are fair and they are consistent. They don't let you get away with more or less than anyplace else, they are just easier to get take homes and to work with.

I miss HCRC Westfield and Liz!!! I don't know if she's still there but I'd love to say hi. Did the clinic move from the brick building on N Elm St? I ask only bc when I just Googled HCRC Westfield it was in a different location! Anyways, I am currently 3 years clean from illicit substances. HCRC is a lifesaver the whole entire staff is always so empathetic from the smiles you get from the front desk to the Nurses always asking how are you doing not to the mention the amazing medical staff who took me out of really bad situation because all they want to do is help. The Dr is so willing to hear you out and make things better on top of that Nick my counselor he's just amazing he pulls you out of your head and you don't even realize he did it's just a natural thing for him and one other person would be Kristen she runs that place so smoothly but with a heart that matches the smile she gives every single time when she asks if you're ok and that's why HCRC Westfield is the best!!! The counselors are compassionate, knowledgeable, and genuinely care about your well-being. They take the time to listen and tailor the sessions to your needs rather than just following a script. The medication-assisted treatment has been life-changing for me. The medical staff is attentive and explains everything clearly, making sure I always felt informed and comfortable with my treatment plan. Appointments are well-organized, and I rarely had to wait long. Communication was smooth, and I always felt like I could ask questions or express concerns without judgment. Exceptional care from beginning to end. I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience at Holyoke Medical Center. My son underwent a major orthopedic procedure, and from the moment we arrived, the entire staff treated us with professionalism, kindness, patience, and genuine compassion. Dr. Noah Epstein was exceptional. As a mother, handing your child over for surgery is never easy, regardless of how old they are. Dr. Epstein gave me confidence that my son was in capable hands. He took the time to communicate with us, and I especially appreciated him coming to speak with me personally after the surgery. That meant more than he probably realizes. The nurses, surgical team, recovery staff, and everyone we encountered were attentive and caring. We never felt like just another patient or family coming through the hospital. They made a stressful and emotional day feel manageable because we knew my son was being well cared for. I left Holyoke Medical Center incredibly grateful. Five stars are not enough for Dr. Epstein and this wonderful team. Thank you for taking such excellent care of my son and for taking care of this worried mom, too. I've got to say I'm a driver that takes people to healthcare centers and resource centers the one in Chicopee is the most words I've ever seen they lock the doors before 5:00 not to mention sometimes I have people that have canes and walkers they'd be going up the ramp and he still has the audacity to lock the door in front of their face with a smile after this comment here I will be calling the administration because something needs to be done.

Carlson was the right place at the right time for me to bring a friend of mine who had finally decided to detox and go into an aftercare program, from addiction. The place was well organized, seemed to be run well and plenty of patient supervision, from the point that my friend made it through the complete admission process, she was able to reach out to myself and her sister, and her mother, and then transition to the Hope house in Springfield. I strongly encourage anyone battling with addiction and / or dual diagnosis as well, to call Carlson for bed availability and go through the program. A lot has changed in this field over the past five years, but most notably over the past two years, and there is help and there is hope, if you know somebody who’s struggling out there, they are somebody’s daughter they are somebody’s son. They could also be somebody’s spouse and they could also be somebody’s parent as well, try to do what you can to help them as long as it’s within your cable tow. God bless.

I think the Carlson center was awesome. They medicate you so you are really comfortable. Their food is incredible and you can get seconds too which is helpful when you are starving and coming off alcohol. Every time I relapsed I went there because I knew they would give me another chance. You should go to groups but yes you can sleep if you’re tired. I remember the first time I went there. I was in serious alcohol withdrawal. I had the best sleep after being medicated. Their staff is great too. They saved my life. They wake you up for vitals early but you may need medication. They have punch in the tv room which I drank like no tomorrow. Snacks too. I’ve been there like 7 times and they always treat me great. I wish I could say my name but can’t. You will always get a second chance there

After 30 years and 38 surgeries as well as being hit from behind a 55 miles plus per hour walking my dog October 18th 2024 the only option besides fentanyl the doctors would give me were more narcotics with an adrenal issue cancer and unresolved Medical issues. Stay away from the community health center of Franklin County if you value to the your life and the life of your loved ones. You only get one life. The Behavioral Health Network and Greenfield are a true lifesaver. When I showed up at their door at the beginning of June 2025 before my 40th birthday I was literally being stalked by the Grim Reaper. Every particle of this breakfast is hands down phenomenal. From the first stone you drive over in the parking lot to the security overseer Adam in the waiting room. I've been nothing but helped and heard. I am very proud of this facility and Alexander getting involved with helping others get their life back whether it be for the same reasons as me or other. And the difference between the behavioral health network and hcrc at energy Park is that the behavioral health network is a not-for-profit practice. Meaning they put the patient and the patient's needs first. Hcrc the energy Park in Greenfield is for profit, meaning they work off meeting there deadline and they do not seem to care how people feel about the medications or anything they don't seem to understand that not all people want take home medications and if you're so desperate for takeovers and it's likely not exactly cuz you're dying to have your medication as I learned considering as I walked out of hcrc in the middle of my intake appointment knowing it was the complete wrong place for me I was asked on my way out to the car if I had any bottles I would sell. I had no idea what that meant and was actually terrified being something very intimidating and new full of uncertainty with plenty of terminal illnesses and other service medical issues on board. The practice went above and beyond to make sure that I felt comfortable from picking up the paperwork to be getting treatment through my treatment and I wanted therapeutic services or had any needs they were usually addressed immediately or I were able to be put on providers

This BHN facility has its ups and downs to it. From May 2018, to current day! I have experienced so much over the years. From being a Co-Ed Detox up until 2022. My last time being in this building in 2021, I'm now a resident of Connections. My caseworker Alex is very reasonable and understanding. The program director Jen is a wonderfully kind and cooperative person. This is a locked facility, where you have to be let on or off the unit. The different paths in recovery are accepted. There is from a structured guidance program here. 3 beds in each room, 3 meals provided daily, and staff (Recovery Specialists & Clinical Counselors) that will provide help/assistance/resources. I've been here in this new program for a week now and have adjusted very well. My future here will be very conducive to my recovery, I also believe that I can and will be very successful. The downsides here are only, grievance forms aren't responded to timely. Your not allowed to bring food or beverages on to unit. Very

Went in on Tuesday with my 2 1/2 year-old. She was having trouble breathing and didn’t seem like herself. She tested positive for RSV and the pediatric doctor there (red headed lovely woman) was super helpful in making the decision to get her helicoptered over to CCMC in Hartford. The staff is very knowledgeable and I appreciated them making quick decisions and getting us a transport that was safe and effective. My only complaint would be that my daughter seemed way worse often than anyone else in the waiting room and we still had to wait about 45 minutes to be seen. I went up once and explained like she’s actually struggling to breathe and then it was only about 10 minutes later that they saw her so they did act once I voiced my concern. I would recommend advocating for yourself at the urgent care check-in if you are really in distress.

Took my wife to ER yesterday. All around impressive experience with all the staff. Triage staff were thorough and patient. Nurses equally excellent. Doctors were calm, reassuring and knowledgeable with great bedside manner. Continual checking in on us while in the room. Not your typical ER experience. Thank you to all. I was very happy to have learned of this establishment. Many insurances are accepted like Medicaid and Medicare, although certain counselors accept certain insurances. The scheduling coordinators are very friendly and work with you to receive the help you need. It is also worth noting that services are offered for kids and even toddlers, with referalls offered as well.

I went to swift river back in March. When discharging from rehab I had a hard time finding a place that took my insurance. I had a quick intake on the phone with compass and they took me right away right as I discharged from rehab. All the counselors were very welcoming and super nice. What’s nice about compass is all the counselors have been through the same experience as the patients there. They are very relatable and supportive and that makes the experience 100 times easier. I’m so glad out of all the places in the area I picked compass if I didn’t go through with this program with the structure they gave me. I would have been so lost with going through early recovery alone. They are the perfect place to get you started on the path to recovery. Will forever be grateful for compass!

Cleanslate is magnificent!! They don't judge you and they make you feel welcomed as a person and not make you feel you anything less.
