Was ghosted by Michelle. It’s been a couple weeks since she never showed up for our appointment. I tried calling and even told the office what happened they tried to reschedule me for when I wasn’t available and I told them I couldn’t do that and haven’t heard anything more from them, but I still haven’t been able to talk to Michelle. I have a lot of anxiety showing up for her appointments because she is either 1/2 to an hour late or never shows up. Thank goodness I found someone to fill my medications. (Side note I really enjoy my therapist there, but the psychiatrist side is an absolute mess).

Hello So I am a graduate of the program from 2001. When I first got to the program I thought it was horrible and staff sucked. Well after sticking out and going thru it I realized what a great place it was. It taught me how to be a mother to my daughter it taught me how to budget money it taught me life skills that i didnt have. I faught every rule and I even broke them. However I realized after thd fact I was being a stubborn girl from the city of Lowell. And so we are clear I was court ordered to there So that made it worst. However after being there and getting the help i needed I realized it wasnt the program it was me. Because as any good addict we know whats best for us. All these years later I wish I could go back in there. It was a safe nurturing place. I thought they stole food stamps and turned them in to cash some how. They didnt they used it for the house and food. I think the reviews on here are sad and isnt accurate. I think some of these people were like me and just ended up getting kicked out and got mad. If you need to do this for whatever reasons please please stick it out. It saved my life! And my daughter's. It also taught me how to stay sober witch is a great huge challenge all in its self. Just like anything if you work it it will be worth it!

Hello my name is Megan novaco, this place was absolutely awful, I am a graduate of this program due to my strength and desire to be clean and involved in my daughter's life, I have watched woman get targeted over stuff that had nothing to do with them, iv watched the whole house get shut down and introuble over one person's mistake, the directer is very racist to white woman, even some whom are staff, rude, uneducated, woman whom never cared to offend you, punish you ,target you and treated every woman very disrespectfully. The directer had very uneducated staff working there, staff whom were very arrogant to girls, including myself. Im a woman who graduated, because I wanted my life, my child,a healthy pregnancy but it was the hardest thing I ever went through in my life and I felt targeted, tormented, put down, offended, scared and helpless every second of my time there. There is a specific staff EMILY whom is awful, she calls girls junkies, she watched Netflix movies on her phone while transporting woman and their children places in the company van, and yes she did it to me and I reported it and instead of it being on her as a staff, I got reprimanded for talking about my feeling towards the incident with clients as if I had done something wrong, following the report Emily treating me with utmost disrespect and I was told by Lisa the directer she is human. Haha she's a staff.Emily refers to us as junkies, screams, slams doors on a day to day basis, punches gates, she sleeps on shift and refused to give medication on many occasions. That place needs to be investigated without them being told your comeing because every time you have given them a heads up they turned us into slaves, girls get to scared to tell the truth when they are residents on how the program truly is because if they report something bad the director most deff would find any reason to throw her out.. That place is filthy ,bad staff, uneducated, staff who act trashy and talk about their drug and alcohol use on the weekends.. IF I HAD ALL THE MONEY IN THO WORLD I WOULD PAY ANY AMOUNT TO HAVE THE GRACE HOUSE SHUT DOWN.I do not recommend any woman to attend tilt program, again if your sobriety is everything to you and your strong then of coarse you can get through it like I did, but I cried every single day. I walked everywere ,to appointments at nine months pregnant,iv had passes taken away due to other woman's actions.. We get screamed at instead of talked to and nothing is ever tho staffs fault and if it is, there is absolutely no way they will take responsibility for it. They have giveing out my liveing arrangements and private info to people they did NOT HAVE RELEASES TO DO SO. please look for anywere else but here, but if it's your only option just keep your chin up, mine your business, take every action and word with a grain of salt and keep it moveing, even staff leave because it's so hard to be an employee there,
Two of my favorite left, due to many reasons in the house and personal in sure.
I WANT IT TO BE KNOWS THAT THERE ARE SOME SOME SOME AMAZING STAFF.
JESSICA THE CHILD CARE
JENN SHE'S MY FAVORITE
ROSA
CLARA
SUZETTE
MELANIE
AND I PROMISE YOU THOES ARE THE ONLY ONES WHO CARE ABOUT FORCE AND DON'T LIE ARE NOT RACIST THEY TREAT US WITH RESPECT AND ARE AMAZING AND HELPFUL PEOPLE.
THE REST ARE AWFUL PEOPLE.. EMILY IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST STAFF SHE IS JUST ALL AROUND A TERRIBLE PERSON AND IS IMMATURE, RUDE, RACIST, VIOLENT, JUDGMENTAL, ANGY, DOES NOT DO HER JOB AND WHEN SHE DOES IT'S ON HER TERMS AND SAME GOES FOR THE DIRECTER. THEY ARE TWO PEAS IN A POD AND SHOULD NEVER BE ALLOWED TO WORK IN SUCH A PLACE WERE IT'S ABOUT PEOPLE'S LIFE. IT'S LIFE OR DEATH FOR US. AND THEY JUST DO NOT CARE

I entered the Grace House in October of 2020, literally on the brink of losing my three beautiful daughters forever. I was born into a very dysfunctional family, was a victim of domestic violence almost my entire life, and eventually became a substance abuser. I barely survived two unintentional overdoses during the summer and still my life continued to spiral further down than it ever had before. Finally, I accepted the fact that I needed to enter treatment not only for the chance to get my children back but also just to stay alive. When I walked in the door I felt completely defeated, overwhelmed, and anxious yet I knew I was in the right place. Slowly, with the help of the caring staff and hard work from all involved, each day became a little bit easier. They advocated for me when it came to having my children placed with me in the program. The support and encouragement my girls and I received was second to none. We were given the tools we'd always needed to live a better life. The staff as well as the other women and children in the program became "our family". Because of the work I was able to do on myself and the insight i gained from therapy and daily groups I was able to take my voice back and set clear boundaries, something I had never successfully done throughout my life. My girls also learned so many important things such as it's okay to feel, you can restart your day at any point, you are unique, communication is key, laughter is the best medicine, help others, be grateful, and so many more. I graduated in June and moved into my own apartment in July with my three girls. Life is still life, there are still good days and bad days but thanks to this program I am better equipped to handle those not so good days. This program is a life changer if you are willing to put in the work,

One of my favorite things about | Treatments Programs Payment Options | This BHN facility has its ups and downs to it. From May 2018, to current day! I have experienced so much over the years. From being a Co-Ed Detox up until 2022. My last time being in this building in 2021, I'm now a resident of Connections. My caseworker Alex is very reasonable and understanding. The program director Jen is a wonderfully kind and cooperative person. This is a locked facility, where you have to be let on or off the unit. The different paths in recovery are accepted. There is from a structured guidance program here. 3 beds in each room, 3 meals provided daily, and staff (Recovery Specialists & Clinical Counselors) that will provide help/assistance/resources. I've been here in this new program for a week now and have adjusted very well. My future here will be very conducive to my recovery, I also believe that I can and will be very successful.
The downsides here are only, grievance forms aren't responded to timely. Your not allowed to bring food or beverages on to unit. Very

Okay then!!! Where should I start..Me Personally I will say that I like the staff there I mean some days are good and some days are not Good 👍, I learned that you Just have to be Patient, because it's not gonna get any faster getting your dose, because eventually you will get it and then you move on with your Day, I mean that I really like the nurses, whoever is working that day, I've had some 😞 difficult days and I will have a conversation with the nurses and they always have something positive to say and make me feel better ☺️, My Counselor she's the best because she understands me, and I'm not One to really put my self out there but she's very patient with me 🥺, and I love ❤️ that, The Security guard is also Great 👍, he treats you with respect, and does his Job well and I respect that..with that being said, I really like this program because you get treated with respect and responsibility for your action,
Takin it One day at a time, like I'm doing,, I'm grateful to be here because I can still remember those rough days..but I'm 😊 good now thanks to everyone that helped me in HCRC..it works if you let it work, I'm tryin my best ❤️, sometimes it just takes a while longer for me, but I ain't mad at you, my time will come...Ty 4 helping me too remember what it was. Like to 💕 love myself..I learned that whatever you focus on grows...AMEN..If you focus on the negative, it's gonna continue being negative and it's gonna show, with that being said, There's so many things to be grateful for, your Character determines your faith... I have dealt with the CSO Program of 1 Federal Street Building 102 Springfield, Massachusetts 01109. When in this program I was placed with 2 different roommates per the program. The first roommate was a decent human being but the 2nd was a nightmare. The woman was moved from 3 previous residences due to not being able to get along with the other tenants. The Collage Street in Springfield, MA. was her 4th and final move. I was attacked twice by this woman and the CSO Program, Springfield Police Officers, and The District Attorney none of them listened or attempted to help or deal with the issues that were happening. On April 8th, 2021 I was diagnosed with incurable Multiple Sclerosis and there are 3 metal pins in my right hip and 1 metal pin in my left hip. The metal pins in my hips give me the ability to walk. Both the program and my attacker were aware of this but she still attacked me anyway. I have lost my job of almost 10 years, the ability to financially support myself, become homeless again, and have a criminal record which prevents stable housing. Due to my Multiple Sclerosis I am unsure if I will ever be able to work again. I am warning anyone that is thinking about letting CSO Program lie to you and tell you they want to help you or assist you to get back on your feet. I trusted these people that call themselves counselors but they are far from that.

I'm not sure people understand the difficulties with making a program like this work. You have lots of mentally disabled people giving one star because they can't color the picture they want or couldn't speak with their med doc right this very second. Considering the constraints and low pay the clinicians go through to just try to help people, the added digital slaps aren't really necessary. I've had no issues and have had no complaints in dealing with Dan or the staff here.

The actions undertaken by Kathy F Pickett and the CEO of Arbour Counseling Services can be characterized as unethical and potentially criminal in nature from a moral perspective. Involuntarily dismissing a patient without following protocols and fraudulently billing for services not rendered is unethical and potentially criminal because it goes against the principles of patient-centered care and violates the trust placed in healthcare providers.
When a patient seeks treatment, they are in a vulnerable position, relying on healthcare professionals to provide appropriate care and support. Involuntarily dismissing a patient without following proper protocols disregards their well-being and can cause harm by interrupting their treatment plan and potentially exacerbating their condition.
Fraudulently billing for services not rendered is fraudulent behavior that can lead to financial harm for both the patient and the healthcare system. It also erodes trust in the healthcare industry and undermines the integrity of the billing process.
Sectioning a patient under false pretenses is a serious violation of the rights of the individual. Sectioning refers to the involuntary detention of a person under mental health legislation. Doing so under false pretenses deprives the patient of their autonomy and may subject them to unnecessary psychiatric intervention or confinement.
These behaviors pose significant dangers to the patient. They can result in a disruption of their treatment, emotional distress, financial harm, and a loss of trust in the healthcare system. It is crucial that healthcare providers adhere to ethical standards and follow protocols to ensure the safety, well-being, and rights of their patients.

I’m the partner in the previous review, yes mountainside did very good things for me I was ready to go in and was willing to do what was needed to be done to help me make a start on my journey, the staff was great and very nice, they all made me feel welcome. Once I started to feel better physically it was a great experience, give it time it gets easier!

My partner got sober at MtnSide 5 years ago. The commitment the staff has to their patients is incredible. He was able to get sober and use the tools he was given in treatment to continue to stay sober even after he discharged. Through the support he received and the relationships he has built as a result of doing LONG TERM (more than 28 days, yes) treatment he has been able to change his life and the lives of others for the better. Getting sober can be one of the most difficult things for an addict or alcoholic to do but it will prove to be the most worthwhile.
