This place is definitely worth looking into.. i stayed at the residential program long enough to make my lifes choices the right ones...the first few months isnt a picnic but it does get better and its worth your life so if your looking to better your life being sober this one is definitely worth it ....

This is an organization that helps the Family & Friends of people who drink too much. They learn to stay calm in the chaos of life, by attending mtgs. Al-anon does not treat the alcoholic person. That organization is called AA (Alcoholics Anonymous).

This is a top notch diner. The food is excellent plus they have an awesome selection to choose from. I had Jake’s Benedict and was very pleased. The service is courteous and fast. Prices are unbeatable. You must try this quaint little spot.

I cannot say enough good things about the lead doctor here Dr. B he is amazing and so kind and understanding. I’ve been on many different clinics and I’ve never been treated in such a humanizing way by a doctor. The clinic is good and I’ve never had any problems with the nursing or any of the staff.

The place saved my life and gave me the opportunity to stop and take 6 months and do what I had to live a new way. I fell down a few times after leaving but Nov 8 will be 6 years clean and I owe alot to the Channing House and my Channing Brothers. RIP JUSTIN

Channing House, which is a Halfway House now operated by Advocates, is probably the most successful men's substance abuse house in Worcester County and probably one of the 5 best or most successful programs in Massachusetts. It is a fully accredited 6 month substance abuse residential program. However, they let me stay for 8 1/2 months because the staff agreed with me that I wasn't ready yet. I've been to well over 25 halfway houses and at least 15 different sober houses...and Channing House is by far the best and most successful program in Worcester County.

Teen challenge is the place to go if you truly want to change your life for the better. The staff at then Worcester campus care about every guy that walks into the doors and will walk along side them as they go through the program.

There are no words to express my gratitude to Teen Challenge, it’s a piece of heaven on earth where God can work in people’s lives in miracles ways. Thank you Teen Challenge Team, specially Pastor Anthony for all his patience and dedication to the mission.

This program is nothing short of amazing! The staff tell my care fir, love, and respect the men who walk through those does looking for help. Those men truly want the help and they work hard for it. God is so present through it all and you can see the light of the Lord in the faces of all! God bless the men past, present, and future, who have walked the walk and come out better for it on the other end and God bless the men who work to help them and also those behind the scenes who help with building and creating the spaces that matter so much in their recoveries!

I had a surgical procedure at the Clough Center in October. The nurses and medical staff were outstanding. The care I was given was top notch, 6 stars!

This 5 star review is for the anesthesiologist who did my procedure in the endoscopy unit Dr. Catherine Buzney. I wanted to give a heartfelt shout-out to her, she was absolutely wonderful—she had an incredible bedside manner. I was so nervous going in, and she instantly put me at ease. We even shared a few laughs, and she made me feel truly cared for. Her kindness made all the difference. The hospital itself is beautiful inside and I appreciated how peaceful the atmosphere was—none of the chaotic feeling that some hospitals can have.

Wow, what a completely different experience than I have been used to! I am new to the area and I am accustomed to UMass Memorial and University campuses in Worcester. I was a amazed by the doctor and staff at the Concord ER. I saw Dr Curcio almost immediately, with frequent check-ins. At UMass I would be lucky to see the doctor until discharge! He checked out some extras" that popped up, one being gall stones, that were unrelated to the visit. Well...I was just in ICU/Acute @ UMass for a minute and nothing was EVER said about gallstones, even though I was in for the same reason and had a repeat of the same tests! I am truly floored and amazed at the wonderful care I received on a Friday afternoon. I have told everyone to only come here! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Well everyone is friendly, the children are nice and parents are attentive, staff are great. I like how they help with addiction recovery, it would be great to have more staff on board.

this program saved my life 2 years ago. if i hadn’t gone here, i would’ve not seen any reasoning to getting sober/clean. i cannot say enough amazing things about MYR. the staff are all very understanding and helpful with everything as they are also most in recovery. they are very kind and the structure with events that are done is amazing. i have such incredible memories here and absolutely phenomenal people i was able to meet and create friendships with outside of MYR. i wish some of the staff could see me now! i am not the same person i was going in there and they are to thank for that. i personally, Cheyanne Benoit, thank the staff from December of 2022. you made my life worth living and showed me a reason and coping mechanisms and how to use them. without you, i wouldn’t have the amazing little boy i do now or the family i am a part of. i cannot commend you enough. you helped me more than you know. <3 (photos of me and my boy) i wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for this program or these people. if any of you happen to see this, this is us now. thank you for helping me achieve my dream of being sober, clean, and i finally was able to become a mother quickly after leaving the program, which is all i’ve ever wanted.

Hands down this program saved my child's life...... I could go on and on about all of the staff and how amazing they are very caring and professional ! I am an overbearing mom who needs to have the answers, I call. 10 times a day to check on my child.And never once did I ever feel like I was being pushed to the side because I can get annoying.... Which Is the best feeling ever because i'm trusting the care of my precious child To a bunch of strangers. Some of the reviews on here could be pretty scary for a parent trying to find their child some help.But I'm telling you from one parent to another.If it wasn't for this program I don't know where my daughter would be or us as a family.Thank you so much MYR For everything you've done for us and saving my child's life! Again if there's any parents out there questioning This program or it's treatment approach , please don't. Trust them they are amazing

My grandson just spend 11 days in this program. Their trauma informed approach is apparent in staff. They are really caring, patient and professional. I am very grateful my grandson got to experience this program.

New Beginnings Wellness Center is truly a beacon of light for the Worcester community. The staff are incredibly supportive, friendly, and knowledgeable, and they genuinely care about the people they serve. They go above and beyond to help individuals build effective coping skills and emotional regulation techniques. It’s clear that everyone here is dedicated to making a real difference in people’s lives. Worcester is lucky to have such an extraordinary team of professionals who bring hope and healing to the community.

Since I started going here about 4 years ago I got a great therapist named Justin Mertz. We hit it off on day one and had a great professional relationship up to his untimely death. I was assigned a new therapist named Lindsay Fox. Her and I hit it off great. Lindsay and I are working hard on my care just like I had with Justin. We do a 50/50 conversation. Also I had very good interactions with the Nurse Practitioners at New Beginnings. They all are great and good resources for psychiatric medications. Thank you all at New Beginnings. I have had an excellent experience with Dana Behavioral. My therapist Elie Bosco is excellent. I can’t recommend her enough. The intake was easy and thorough. And I’m appreciative they take Harvard pilgrim. Thank you.

I love it here. My therapist and pshyciatrist are the best- they are helping me get through my depression, anxiety, and PTSD attacks. I'm doing better now.

Five stars for our psychiatric nurse practitioner, Sharon Curtin. She has been wonderful from day one and has prescribed with insight and care and helped our child become himself again. Loss of star for the company policy - it is difficult to communicate with the provider between visits due to the company changing policy and providers no longer having a direct extension. Also, there is zero grace if you miss an appointment. Even though we had made every single appointment for a year and a half, we were billed $100 for the first (unintentional) no-show. It's the written policy, but some grace would be appreciated with a track record of reliability. The staff that manages refills and medication questions is great. They are responsive and communicative. Overall, recommend, especially Sharon. Just make sure you don't miss your appointment ever, and ask all your questions when you're with your provider.

I have been receiving services from Wayside Youth since 2016 for me and my children on and off. I appreciate they hard work and support every time we need. Their workers are professionals, attentive, kind, and helpful. Thank you Darlene Florencio, Demeisha Daniels, Bruna Moraes Leite, and Gerlane Cardoso. You guys are the best!!

Riverside has changed my life I cannot speak for no one else but Riverside has became my family, I was lost. I still make mistakes but riverside never gave up on me even when I did! It’s hard work but like they say you can bring a horse to the water but can’t make him drank it! You have to want to change. After almost 4 years of trial, error going to hospitals. It added up and I have a beautiful apartment, a good head on my shoulders, and the power to know that I can change tomorrow there is hope. That is what I’ve learned from them, for not giving up on me that life is hard, stressful!! But you are stronger because you been through all that and still here. Thank you riverside I’m so grateful even though your probably tired of hearing me say it all the time. Thank you so much! The love from you guys is overwhelming it’s Foreign to me because I never experienced that feeling. I just want to share my story! ❤️

Doing innovative care giving

Last I heard Derrick C was there he was doing very well but I think he may have fell into the wrong people such as Elena he has stopped making contact and his family has been calling me looking for him. He needs to stay focused and away from her!! He has stopped taking his medication as well so we are a bit worried about him. He was doing amazing until he met her she dragged him back down

God Bless Eamonn, the owner, he does his best to help a growing demographic of men who have drug and alcohol addictions. The clientele there are good people just trying to recover and get their lives back together. There's more structure than some houses-and less structure than others. It's all what you put into it, and many men have had full and complete recoveries, and lasting sobriety by finding/staying at the Association for Sober Living in North Attleboro. Great comradery and opportunity to develop new friendships here-with other men who are struggling also. If you put in the time and effort, you too can discover a new way of living CLEAN and SOBER. Definitely consider the ASL if you want to live a life without drugs and alcohol, and find healing, hope, and sobriety for your future, yourself, and for your family-by the Grace of God.
