This place was great I went here the staff went above and. Beyond to help me get to the place I choose for further treatment they also got me multiple things I needed like clothes and cosmetics literature for the 12 step program I do! The groups were good. The clinical staff was very good to me and made me feel at home! Also there's tvs in the room so that was cool when I had nothing going on and the smoke breaks were just enough. And spaced very good! If have to go any where again its gonna be here!

This place is definitely worth looking into.. i stayed at the residential program long enough to make my lifes choices the right ones...the first few months isnt a picnic but it does get better and its worth your life so if your looking to better your life being sober this one is definitely worth it ....

Despite the challenges that psych wards face trying to help a wide range of mental health patients with various behaviors and diagnoses, the staff was very supportive and uplifting. I can't name everyone but Tristan, Abigail, Frank and Akilis were very patient with tough situations that constantly needed to be deescalated and the medical staff was diligent as well. However this stay wouldn't have been as tolerable if it wasn't for the amazing personalities of the non medical staff members. A big thank you to my clinician who spoke wisdom and provided great solace with her approach.

This time last year, I was in a place I had never found myself in before in this life. To say that times were dark and the outlook seemingly bleak and increasingly hopeless is an understatement. Then I did something I'm not typically accustomed to doing, I reached out for help. And to my surprise, someone picked up the phone on the other end and was there for me to listen, to offer solutions, and to help me begin the process of recovery. No judgment, no lectures, no cynicism, just a purely honest willingness to help up their fellow man. Regardless of my state of being, they were there with knowledge and encouragement and compassion and motivation and a true desire to provide you with the tools, skills, and abilities to not only help yourself, but to succeed beyond expectations and be fruitful in the process. I know because fast forward to now, my life couldn't be more of a polar opposite than it was at this time last year. My most heartfelt thanks and gratitude will forever go out to Jesse, Alyssia, Chuck, and the many many others in the Perennial Recovery family who have impacted my life in one positive way or another. I am extremely grateful to have had the courage to go through the process, stay the course, successfully graduate, become an alumni and have earned the privilege of helping others when and where I can. I have to say when I first got to perennial I was one very angry angry individual due to being in seven comas and suffering traumatic brain injury ADHD PTSD trauma abandonment issues and drug and alcohol this place has given me I'm feeling of self-confidence being able to attend positive goals being able to look itself deal with self process my issues.... Every single individual that works there goes above and beyond .... Being from the streets since I was 14 years old now I'm 50 I've had some serious trust issues the feeling they give me is like family orientated with tough love they make it comfortable to deal with some serious personal feelings that I was never being able to talk to anyone about they help me break down my walls and build up positive ones having Alyssa as a case manager was just like having Wonder woman in my corner she worked with me and knocked it out of the park she never made me feel uncomfortable when I didn't understand something she showed me and guided me through it all so I could do it myself the next time nevermind all the tools to shimmy shake through the negativity and the tools to help me stay away from wanting to just avoid it and run to alcohol and drugs... I will forever be a better person than I was yesterday for the guidance and strength perennial has given me

My experience at The Washburn House in Worcester is something I will always be grateful for. ❤️ Going through detox and CSS was not an easy journey, but the staff were there for me during some of the hardest moments. Their kindness, patience, support, and encouragement helped me feel that I was not alone. They treated me with compassion and respect and helped me take things one day at a time. I truly appreciate every staff member who took the time to listen, encourage me, and believe in me when I was struggling to believe in myself. The support I received gave me the strength and hope to keep moving forward in my recovery. I know recovery is a journey, and I still have work to do, but I am leaving with lessons, memories, and gratitude that I will carry with me. I have been in IOP since May 25th and have abstained from use of anything mind altering. Overall, this is one of the nicest mental health facilities you can go to. The facility itself is exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The staff and therapists truly care about their work and are generally very solid and helpful once you get to connect with them. However, the program isn't as intensive as some might need — I only saw my therapist twice in a two-week span, including intake. Organizationally, things can sometimes fall through the cracks (like belongings, medication, and laundry). Your experience will also heavily depend on the other residents, which can be a wild card. Despite a few operational hiccups, the caring nature of the staff and the quality of the environment make it a solid choice for treatment.

Could not have been happier with my time at recovery team newton. The facility is clean and welcoming. The staff was EXCEPTIONAL. Case managers who would do anything to help you, clinicians and therapists and the people in charge of them were kind, engaging and knowledgeable and genuinely want to help you. I've been at Merrick Street for nearly a year, and my experince has been truly amazing. Spectrum staff members are caring, well-educated and passionate about helping each client on an individual basis. The level of care far exceeds that of other programs. I started my 'journey' at Sisters of Providence in Holyoke, and (apart from my clinician -- who was amazing!), it felt like conveyor-belt-style care. Now, that was a 2-hour round-trip commute every morning, but Information about Spectrum (20 minutes away) was hidden from me (despite my inquiries) for months because it was a separate organization and they likely didn't want to lose me as a paycheck -- I mean patient. Spectrum is the total opposite. It has changed my life. I wasted years fearing a program, and the stigma attached. But I realized-- since I was already dealing with the stigma of having fibromyalgia and chronic pain, it made no difference, and I needed to try -- for me. Since entering, I have met so many incredible people, shared and heard many incredible stories, and in a way, I am proud to be part of something so positive.

Great place to get sober. They had the best staff helping me to receive comprehensive care. I ended up staying with them 7months, I found it that helpful. Definitely not my first program, but they stand out from the rest. Perfect place for aftercare for people who have detoxed or done residential treatment. They work well with various sober living houses. They are also very flexible with the different levels of care that they offer.

This institution is affiliated with Harvard and one of the best in the entire nation. I was at the Betty Ford before this, and it was absolute garbage in comparison, both in quality of care and quality of the property. Every single staff member at fernside absolutely cares about patients and the staff outnumber and patients - which is extremely rare. Betty Ford was something like four patients per staff member. Here there’s typically 3MD’s, 3-4 nurses, multiple therapists, and an amazing private chef. At fernside you have industry leading experts with resources directly from Harvard meeting as a team to diagnose, underlying health conditions, and treat various addictions. You meet with them all individually multiple times per week and they speak with each other to discuss mental health, medications, etc. It’s like the show house. They have the time to do so because there are typically 4-6 patients and a maximum of 9. If you want a full breakdown and evaluation with individualized care, this is the place for you. I cannot say enough, kind things about this place; The only con is that it is $70,000 a month and they do not accept insurance.
