What a life changing experience! I have too many good things to say to list them all here. The buildings and the grounds are new and well maintained. The staff are all wonderful and go above and beyond for every client. I got to see first hand how hard everyone, frome the cleaning staff on up to the directors how hard they work for us and how much they care. The clinical staff are so knowledgeable and caring. I felt like everyone there was working on all my issues with such a drive and the highest level of competency. The recovery specialists do a food job of fostering a positive and safe group culture. I was especially impressed with Katie, who's commitment to the clients was demonstrated daily by her caring, upbeat, positive nature and willingness to go above and beyond for every client, all day, everyday. A big thank you to Katie and to Rose, Erin, Nikki and all the others who helped me change my life so drastically for the better in such a short 28 days. There are recovery centers out there doing good work and recovery centers doing great work. This place is doing phenomenal work. They help people make lasting changes in their lives. Thank you all!

This is a wonderful detox and treatment center! They will get you sober and give you the tools and resources that you’ll need to stay sober. Kind, caring, knowledgeable people (Case Managers, Recovery Specialists, nurses, food service staff, cleaning staff), nice, clean facilities, good food! Couldn’t ask for more. The folks at NERC truly care about you and your recovery. Special shout-out to Case Managers Sara, Tara, Brittany, Grace and Diana, as well as Recovery Specialists Pam, Gretchen, Danny, Nikki, Nikyrah, Esmeralda, Lauren, and all others whom I haven’t mentioned by name. Rose is an amazing family therapist. There are a lot of great, caring folks working here who truly want to help you! They also offer free, confidential family support through their Magnolia program. Clean, and Safe Facility
This place is very clean and well taken care of. You can really tell they prioritize safety and comfort for everyone there. There are always plenty of staff around, which helps things run smoothly and gives a sense of security. I also love that they have spaces for group activities, a gym area, and even outdoor spots where people can relax and get some fresh air. It feels like a place that truly cares about both mental and physical wellbeing.

WBH has been wonderful, we've been to others but this time around it has made a difference. Everyone is kind, professional and understanding. My daughter still wants to go to the group meetings on Thursday without difficulty. She also looked forward to going to the outpatient program as well and she can be quite picky and stubborn.

RCA Westminster was a truly transformative experience for me. I went into inpatient somewhat unwillingly, but because of the wonderful RSS staff, medical staff, counselors, and group leaders I quickly became truly committed to my sobriety. The fellowship that was fostered there was so important to so many of us in the men's unit. I want to specifically thank Kyle, Niana, Calee, JoJo, Angel, Peter, Mike, Bella, Seth, and Katie for all the caring and work that they put in everyday. After inpatient I did IOP which has been essential to continuing my recovery as I move forward. Thanks again to Peter and Kyle, and also to Mark who has been a great help in transitioning back into real life. I will never forget what the people at RCA Westminster did for me.
Also, a huge shout out to the custodial staff that have to deal with some truly horrendous situations! they are incredible, and I am sure do not get paid nearly enough for what they do.

Being a client at Paramount Recovery Centers, makes me feel dignified and like I have hope. The staff here are absolutely amazing and are willing to go to any length to help in any way they can. Rockland Recovery PHP/IOP is by far the best treatment program in Massachusetts. From start to finish, they truly go above and beyond. If you need detox or residential first, they handle everything — they check your insurance and place you in the most appropriate luxury detox and residential program before you even begin with them.
Once you step down to their PHP/IOP, the support gets even better. They offer both men’s-only and women’s-only sober living, plus transportation to and from treatment every day. If you prefer to drive, they even allow you to keep your car during the first week. The sober living homes are clean, quiet, and extremely accommodating — nothing like a typical halfway house. Living together, going to AA/NA meetings as a community, and even having an in-house Sunday speaker meeting from alumni truly strengthens recovery.
They operate two addiction co-occurring facilities and one mental health facility, and the staff at all locations are incredibly accepting and supportive. At Rockland Recovery Braintree (where I attended), the program focuses on AA-based coursework, not the same repetitive classes most rehabs offer. Every day brings new information, and over 75% of the staff are either in recovery themselves or have a loved one who is, which makes a huge difference. Every facilitator is licensed and genuinely knowledgeable.
If you’re considering PHP/IOP in Boston or Greater Boston, this is the place. They also have the largest alumni program in the state, with monthly events for both current and former clients. Their weekly AA speaker meeting in Milton is the best around (previously held in Quincy).
My only suggestion: I wish they offered a Zoom option for the Tuesday alumni meeting for people who can’t make it in person. If they streamed it online, attendance would definitely triple.
Other than that, Rockland Recovery is exceptional in every way. Highly recommend!

I came to this hospital with my husband, who has a heart condition. His surgery hasn't been scheduled yet, but I don't know how to thank everyone I've met here. They were wonderful, professional, and humble. Even Dr. Stanley is fantastic; he's so patient and takes the time to talk to his patients and explain their condition so they feel reassured and completely at ease. I thank God that we are in this hospital; it's like being in a five-star hotel. Even the food and the people who serve it are excellent. As for Emily, what a loss! She said goodbye to me like a loving sister, saying she had finished her work here. She is a real loss to the hospital; she left a wonderful impression on me. Her care for us was exceptional. I came into this program as an older woman, scared and unsure of what to expect. This was my very first time in treatment, and after coming from an inpatient program where I honestly felt like I was treated more like an animal than a person, I didn’t know what I was walking into. From the first day, the staff and clients made me feel welcome and safe. I wasn’t seen as just a diagnosis here, I was seen as a human being. That meant everything to me. The groups were supportive, the staff truly cared, and I felt like my voice mattered. This program gave me hope and reminded me that healing is possible at any age. I’m grateful I came here and would recommend it to anyone who feels nervous about starting treatment.

I attended this IOP for dual diagnosis, and I can’t say enough good things. All the staff were incredible, from the director to the techs. The groups and therapists were supportive and truly helpful. I was there during a time when they were short-staffed, and they never missed a beat always making sure clients’ needs were met. Huge shoutout to Nick and Jodi, who really hold the place together and make it feel safe and welcoming. I’d recommend BHR to any family or friends struggling, this program truly makes a difference

Came off 170 mgs of methadone without any major problems. I slept, ate, and was overall content. Nursing and tech staff made the stay what it should be. I’m not really a taker but sometimes a smile from a random staff would get me out of the funk. They reduced my methadone 10mg a day from 170 until 20mg. I thought I would feel awful at 20 but the only problem I had was high blood pressure and sweating. All symptoms I could deal with. It’s detox! You’re not going to like everything about it!
Atlanta, Mark, Christine, Joe, JAMIE! No techs or nurses ever made me feel like I was a bother. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to get off a substance. Especially methadone, in I feel 1000 times better without that crap in my body. I live in NJ, only one place would take my ins. The rest would only detox from methadone of a 30-40mg dose. Sunrise did not rush me and kept their word I wouldn’t receive surprise bills. They even didn’t bill me for things they should have. Shortly before I went there I was on a ventilator. I am Doing the work but this place helped get me across the line. If you complain here it’s your addiction talking. Has your addiction ever been correct with advice? Great place!

I have had an opiate dependence from the age of 18 after a severe accident i have struggled for 25 years i never have had such a pleasant experience with such a professional helpful staff that didnt judge me first time in 20 years there intake almost brought me ro tears i was so grateful completely different than any other dosing clinic and i have used them from mass to California even Tijuana i highly recommend this place and i am so grateful to have luckily picked this clinic in order to avoid everyone i know so i dont have any screw ups in my recovery nothing has ever worked or felt comfortable im amazed by ther professionalism amazing

I came to this hospital with my husband, who has a heart condition. His surgery hasn't been scheduled yet, but I don't know how to thank everyone I've met here. They were wonderful, professional, and humble. Even Dr. Stanley is fantastic; he's so patient and takes the time to talk to his patients and explain their condition so they feel reassured and completely at ease. I thank God that we are in this hospital; it's like being in a five-star hotel. Even the food and the people who serve it are excellent. As for Emily, what a loss! She said goodbye to me like a loving sister, saying she had finished her work here. She is a real loss to the hospital; she left a wonderful impression on me. Her care for us was exceptional. I've been at Merrick Street for nearly a year, and my experince has been truly amazing. Spectrum staff members are caring, well-educated and passionate about helping each client on an individual basis. The level of care far exceeds that of other programs. I started my 'journey' at Sisters of Providence in Holyoke, and (apart from my clinician -- who was amazing!), it felt like conveyor-belt-style care. Now, that was a 2-hour round-trip commute every morning, but Information about Spectrum (20 minutes away) was hidden from me (despite my inquiries) for months because it was a separate organization and they likely didn't want to lose me as a paycheck -- I mean patient.
Spectrum is the total opposite. It has changed my life. I wasted years fearing a program, and the stigma attached. But I realized-- since I was already dealing with the stigma of having fibromyalgia and chronic pain, it made no difference, and I needed to try -- for me. Since entering, I have met so many incredible people, shared and heard many incredible stories, and in a way, I am proud to be part of something so positive.

The care @ this hospital has always been excellent in all the years I've been going to the West Roxbury VA. In my last visit my wife was with me and she was having trouble with her legs I just want to thank the 2 separate nurses that noticed my wife's struggles within 5 and asked her if she needed help, before I found a wheel chair for her...thank you. To the fool who rated this VA hospital 2 stars based off his/ her experience in the cafeteria..go to a restaurant if you want good food. Because today you'll be minus $50 or more and still probably won't be happy with the food...get real, this is a hospital!

Visiting from Dallas-Fort Worth area. Needed emergency care for one leg. While the facility is aged and, I’m sure, always in need of service, they seem to keep up with that pretty well. Clinical care was too notch, informed, appropriate, and highest quality. As a Vet, I felt wonderfully talented care of.
