This place was great I went here the staff went above and. Beyond to help me get to the place I choose for further treatment they also got me multiple things I needed like clothes and cosmetics literature for the 12 step program I do! The groups were good. The clinical staff was very good to me and made me feel at home! Also there's tvs in the room so that was cool when I had nothing going on and the smoke breaks were just enough. And spaced very good! If have to go any where again its gonna be here!

I've been at Merrick Street for nearly a year, and my experince has been truly amazing. Spectrum staff members are caring, well-educated and passionate about helping each client on an individual basis. The level of care far exceeds that of other programs. I started my 'journey' at Sisters of Providence in Holyoke, and (apart from my clinician -- who was amazing!), it felt like conveyor-belt-style care. Now, that was a 2-hour round-trip commute every morning, but Information about Spectrum (20 minutes away) was hidden from me (despite my inquiries) for months because it was a separate organization and they likely didn't want to lose me as a paycheck -- I mean patient. Spectrum is the total opposite. It has changed my life. I wasted years fearing a program, and the stigma attached. But I realized-- since I was already dealing with the stigma of having fibromyalgia and chronic pain, it made no difference, and I needed to try -- for me. Since entering, I have met so many incredible people, shared and heard many incredible stories, and in a way, I am proud to be part of something so positive.

Blue Hills gave me a solid foundation to step down from treatment facility to PHP and IOP that prepared me for my next steps in my recovery journey. I have had an opiate dependence from the age of 18 after a severe accident i have struggled for 25 years i never have had such a pleasant experience with such a professional helpful staff that didnt judge me first time in 20 years there intake almost brought me ro tears i was so grateful completely different than any other dosing clinic and i have used them from mass to California even Tijuana i highly recommend this place and i am so grateful to have luckily picked this clinic in order to avoid everyone i know so i dont have any screw ups in my recovery nothing has ever worked or felt comfortable im amazed by ther professionalism amazing

This institution is affiliated with Harvard and one of the best in the entire nation. I was at the Betty Ford before this, and it was absolute garbage in comparison, both in quality of care and quality of the property. Every single staff member at fernside absolutely cares about patients and the staff outnumber and patients - which is extremely rare. Betty Ford was something like four patients per staff member. Here there’s typically 3MD’s, 3-4 nurses, multiple therapists, and an amazing private chef. At fernside you have industry leading experts with resources directly from Harvard meeting as a team to diagnose, underlying health conditions, and treat various addictions. You meet with them all individually multiple times per week and they speak with each other to discuss mental health, medications, etc. It’s like the show house. They have the time to do so because there are typically 4-6 patients and a maximum of 9. If you want a full breakdown and evaluation with individualized care, this is the place for you. I cannot say enough, kind things about this place; The only con is that it is $70,000 a month and they do not accept insurance.

Spectrum Health Services' PAVE Program, an IPAEP/CBP for domestic violence abusers, is a phenomenal program that helps domestic violence abusers on how to cope and better manage with various techniques on how to deal with anger management issues, violent tendencies and how to have & build better relationships with their partners/victims and all those affected by domestic violence. I highly and fully recommend to all who have been a domestic violence abuser, past or present, to partake in this vital & crucial program. If interested (and if not already court ordered), contact Maureen Casey here @ Spectrum to learn more about PAVE and other programs Spectrum has (specifically for anger management is one example). Mike & Faith administer the PAVE Program on a weekly basis. My group sessions are every Wednesday, from 430 to 630 pm for 40 weeks, start to finish. Channing House, which is a Halfway House now operated by Advocates, is probably the most successful men's substance abuse house in Worcester County and probably one of the 5 best or most successful programs in Massachusetts. It is a fully accredited 6 month substance abuse residential program. However, they let me stay for 8 1/2 months because the staff agreed with me that I wasn't ready yet. I've been to well over 25 halfway houses and at least 15 different sober houses...and Channing House is by far the best and most successful program in Worcester County.

Since I started going here about 4 years ago I got a great therapist named Justin Mertz. We hit it off on day one and had a great professional relationship up to his untimely death. I was assigned a new therapist named Lindsay Fox. Her and I hit it off great. Lindsay and I are working hard on my care just like I had with Justin. We do a 50/50 conversation. Also I had very good interactions with the Nurse Practitioners at New Beginnings. They all are great and good resources for psychiatric medications. Thank you all at New Beginnings. In the past I have visited Haywood Hospital at the Gardner MA location for Xrays, ultrasound and CT imaging. Heywood Hospital in my opinion is a Gem. Unlike other hospitals, Heywood is perfectly located away from chaotic traffic and congested busy streets. Including one-way streets as is the case in Boston or Worcester. In addition, Heywood provides plenty of free parking with cover for it's patients. The hospital is very clean, updated, and well maintained inside and out. The restrooms appear to be cleaned on a regular. The staff here have always been polite, professional, courteous and willing to help. Today I had an Xray scheduled and while at the patient registration I met Alice H. Alice has been working here for fifty-five years and was so friendly, kind, and helpful. Instead of given me verbal directions to the Xray department (It's been a while since my last visit) Alice H got up from her desk and accompanied me to the Xray area. Great lady I wish all staff were as kind and helpful as Alice H. I would also like to note the gentleman who preformed my Xray was equally as nice. 30 seconds to a minute and the entire process was complete. Conclusion: In the event someone needs imaging I highly recommend visiting Heywood in Gardner MA.

Amazing customer service. My insurance company was fighting with me about seeing my PCP who I've been seeing for two years and continuing medication that I am currently stable on and have been on for two years. The company (CHC) does take my insurance and I was unsure why they would not allow me to see a specific dr in the same clinic but allowed other ones. Doug the call reprisentative, agreed and confirmed the company does take that insurance he took it to the manager of community health connections and got things handled for me, CHC delt with the insurance company directly. And I have the most amazing provider there, she fought for me to be covered on the medication that I am currently on and it is working amazingly. Shout out to Krystina Bonilla.
