The Promedica ER in Monroe and Toledo have top notch Doctors and very caring nurses. I have used the facility twice in the last couple weeks. Amazing care by Doctor Alvin Tran. Promedica Toledo Hospital geriatric surgery did a fantastic job and the 7th floor staff was great. Even the cleaning staff is polite and professional. The hospital has really hired top notch professionals. They were extremely busy and yes there is a wait but they take time to care and treat your issue.

I Love the staff and atmosphere, I ve been going here for some time and they offer all types of services. Some of the patients are kinda sketchy looking, but I don t talk to anyone who doesn t talk to me and I ve never once had a problem or felt uncomfortable in all my time here. I haven't used their services in person yet. Though I just spent a half an hour speaking with Tabbin doing a phone intake. He followed up with me after I called interested To go a few hours before. At this time I have called several places and went to one in real life. Tabbins customer's service skills put them all to shame including his resolve to follow up and even manipulate the situation in a positive maner to make sure I'm coming in the morning. It was a good conversation and he should be recognized for it. If the rest of Midwest experience is anything like the one I just had then I'm in good hands. Good luck everyone and it dose get better.

I was admitted to TCED in July 2024, I was at my lowest of rock bottoms. Suffering with an eating disorder and a few other mental health diagnosis. I was more than ready to give up the fight. From all the staff at TCED: Clinical staff, Nursing, Kitchen staff, RC's, etc they all are compassionate, transparent, encouraging and open minded. Not one of them gave up on me and for that I am forever grateful. I have developed many healthy coping skills and accepted a new way of thinking that has been beneficial to my recovery journey and my life. I did both residential and PHP at TCED, and can confidently say that all I ve learned has vastly improved my approach to recovery for the better. My first couple of weeks were rocky and I was planning on discharging early but I m glad I stayed, as they diligently worked to resolve issues in the milieu. I spent the holiday season there and they honestly made it one of the best I ve had in years and am grateful for all they did for us. Compared to places I ve been in the past, TCED does well at including and talking about all types of eating disorders and recognizing individual differences. I felt seen and understood for the first time, Kam is a terrific therapist and I got a lot out of our sessions. The dieticians are both amazing, and are there to support you when transitioning from residential to php (such as going grocery shopping with you, meal outings, challenge snacks etc.). I am from Michigan, so I stayed at the php house that they offer as an option for those who live outside of the area. Staff would pick up/drop off each day which was nice. Overall, TCED is an amazing facility and if I ever need help again I would go back in a heartbeat.

This place has helped me not only with my eating disorder but gave me the tools and skills to be able to help me with the feelings that come with taking this journey. Very good care, however you might have to wait several days to weeks for an appointment. The physical care department is very helpful, the psychiatric less so. I've tried twice to get a VA id, and copy of my DD-214, without luck. Adrian, Michigan has a much larger and better staffed facility.

I went to the farm and stayed for a little over 3 months. The treatment duration is determined by the therapists. The shortest duration I saw was 2 1/2 months. Longest I saw was 4 months but most do around 90 days. I had moments I really loved the farm, and others where I felt like I hated it. Their rules are really strict and you re there for a while. However, it did work for me. It was a long journey. I got yelled at for breaking rules, for sleeping in, and absolutely resented waking up early every morning to do work duties. Definitely cried a few times. By day 50 I was like get me the heck out of here but had months to go. But every time I got upset, I d sleep on it and always decided to stay. Now I m much better. I can wake up for an actual job early without a problem. I have more self control, more friends, more support, I try to follow the rules in real life situations, try to be a good person, and have a much more rewarding life overall. The Farm is really challenging but it does actually work if you listen to them and do what they tell you to do and don t fight it. It s hard to follow their schedule and rules every day for so long, but it just might change your life.

I have been coming to Unison for 10 years, when I first came here I was a complete mess, if it wasn t for my team Carol Krieger, Kim Growing, and I have to include my favorite receptionist Sara her smile and her care has got me through the door also I don t know her name she works beside Sarah, what can I say they are both great people , if it wasn t for them I wouldn t of made it this far so thank you Unisons for giving me a great team. If it wasn t for those two people helping me with my everyday life, I couldn t get through it, they are more then a councilor and a nurse practitioner, changed my life. Went to Unison for over a year, after being at another clinic for almost 12. They made a major difference in healing from my trauma, and gave me the skills to continue coping, not just covering the symptoms with medicines. Highly recommend their group therapy program if you are working through trauma. I "graduated" from individual therapy over 2 years ago, and haven't needed to go back. They didn't just help me heal the past, they gave me the skills to keep moving through the future. They were super respectful of my individual needs, as well as my religious beliefs.

Social workers are great, therapists are great, nurse practitioners are great, this review is more for HEGIRA in general but their psych doctors are all disrespectful.will talk down to you, judge you from the very beginning, at least that's my experience with each new doctor I see and location I go to. They see I am prescribed Suboxone (have been for 5 plus years) and try to take me off of my psych meds I've been on for five years or longer.yes, one is a controlled substance but ive heard so many reasons why they won't or can't continue me on my medicine that I know works because I've been told multiple times completely different stories.it took years to find the right cocktail that works for me.only by the prescribing doctors do I ever have anything to complain about.i don't usually leave reviews for anything unless it's something I love or it's a genuine problem.i know plenty of people who are prescribed incredibly unnecessary amounts of drugs, or people with the same or similar combination I am on and don't have the problem i am having. opioid crisis I get it but not everyone taking them is abusing them.is the only way I'm going to get the same meds I've always been on by going to a shrink where I have to pay? I've seen plenty of doctors who weren't psych doctors but would still give me my psych meds with my Suboxone, yes things are different now more strict, but over the last two and a half years of trying to find a shrink to get my stuff from the right doctor , I haven't had a psych prescribe my psych meds to me In almost three years. My PCP and my Suboxone doctor help me by writing them as long as I show them I am trying to get in somewhere. So if it's perfectly fine for the doctors who really shouldn't be giving benzos scripts to me (psych meds were originally started from actual psychiatrist in the beginning) why in the EFF will absolutely no one help me?!?

Dr. Cumbo, I don't know what kind of voodoo you did on my daughter. I have spent years trying to get to the bottom of my daughter's depression with multiple doctors offices, but she has never been able to open up to anyone. After the 30 minute VIDEO CHAT with you MEETING HER FOR THE FIRST TIME my daughter spilled her guts to me about everything and we are finally on the right track! I cannot thank you enough!!

My daughter sees Amanda Chagolla at the Sylvania location. Amanda is friendly, pleasant informed and doesn't waste time. Prior to knowing exactly what integrated care meant,I mistakenly gave her a low rating but I now understand more and take it back. she's only the physician, at harbor take advantage of other help available!There are case managers, case workers, counselors, etc.Numerous different positions, all a part of the same spectrum. I think Harbor is doing better..At the end of c0v!d everyone was rather discombobulated and Harbor was no exception. I'm happy to report that they seem to be running fairly smoothly again and I hope to continue on there. Thanks!
