A great program with great people i never felt like i was being judged or looked down at all in fact i was surprised by how friendly and kind everyone was and they not only made me feel like they care they proved they do when my partner had a medical issue and the staff handled it compassionately. My counselor is really chill and easy to talk to but also has the depths of knowledge to be able to have really substantive conversations basically a respectable amount of street smarts and book smarts and ability to know when to use which. I leave every appointment feeling really encouraged and hopeful. If anyone is thinking about trying maintenance therapy thia is the place to go you can actually find some hope here

I'm so happy a mutual friend recommended and referred Hilary to us. My 13 year old really enjoys seeing her. She doesn't like having to wake up early for things when school isn't in session. But you won't hear a complaint if she's rising early for an appt. to see Hilary.
Thank you ALL for everything you do, Daily, for every person who walks through them doors.

I've enjoyed my counciling here very professional staff. Girls up front are very nice. I like how quickly they get to me on the phone. That can agitate people. Justin Hutchenson has helped me decompress alot of stress in my life dealing with multiple deaths in my family and my own health tragedy. May God richly bless him for that and all your staff as we continue on this journey together.

The therapist my daughter saw at the Portage location was wonderful. Billing was always an issue - they would say we owed money, so we would pay it, then they could contact us and process a refund because we "overpaid". Otherwise, we were very pleased. However I have been trying to reach them for a week now. Website says they are available 24/7 - however I have called EVERY number on their website repeatedly, as well as the number the "owner" provided in these comments, and there is never an answer or option to leave a message. I also submitted an appointment request form through their website and have not received a response. Not sure what is going on here. UPDATE: apparently this is a cell phone issue - NOT pine rest. Despite using my phone daily and having no issues making calls, for whatever reason, I had to put my cell phone on then off airplane mode and suddenly I was able to make calls to them. Updated my review to correct for this.

SPA Women’s Ministry is truly amazing. A place you feel Gods presence and love!! A place you truly come as you are but will leave changed!! A place you face reality and truth; but with gentleness and compassion! You walk in welcomed and walk out transformed and feeling Jesus’s tangible love for you.
I volunteer once a month for a fun night and I truly am blessed beyond measure!! (Probably more than I can give). I go with the intention to give and to encourage and I leave more encouraged!! It’s an anointed place and I pray the Lord continues to move and transform through this ministry!
I am truly grateful to be a part of this ministry and beyond grateful to see how God works in the lives of the ladies that make the brave step of walking through the doors to make a change! May God get the glory forever!

I want to take a moment to express my gratitude to this rehab center and its staff. No, it’s not a luxury retreat or a spa-like setting—but neither is prison, or worse, the morgue. This place is about recovery, not comfort, and I believe they are doing exactly what they’re meant to do: helping people get their lives back.
The staff was kind, dedicated, and truly cared. My son's father recently completed treatment here, and while he shared that it was incredibly tough—physically, emotionally, and mentally—he also said it was nothing compared to the pain of being out on the streets, lost in his addiction. Recovery isn’t supposed to be easy. If it were, addiction wouldn’t be so hard to beat.
I’ve seen some reviews criticizing the center for not giving constant updates to family members. I get it—when someone we love is in pain, we want answers, we want involvement, we want to help. But part of the healing process means letting go of that need to control. We didn't have control when our loved ones were in active addiction, and recovery is no different. The program is designed to build independence, accountability, and internal strength. Constant calls, questions, and attempts to interfere, even with good intentions, can undermine that.
Trust the process. Let the professionals do their job. It’s not always comfortable—but neither is addiction. Discomfort is part of growth, and growth is what this place is all about.
If you're looking for somewhere that offers real recovery—not coddling, but healing—this is it. Let them work, and give your loved one the space to fight for their own life.

Don’t settle for just any generic treatment center. Indiana Center for Recovery has a reputation for the most advanced addiction and mental health care in the state — with 10 locations and hundreds of positive reviews online. The team is led by nationally recognized treatment professionals. The programs are built on a foundation of science | Treatments Programs Payment Options | Our son who has suffered from mental illness for many years has recently spent two months at ICFR. This option has never been available to us in the St. Louis area. Our past options have been mostly short-term hospitalization when conditions became severe. I can’t say enough good things about ICFR. The facility is very impressive and the staff is friendly, experienced and treat all residents with compassion and kindness. Partly because a good number of the staff have either themselves or their loved ones experienced different forms of mental illness/addiction at some point in their life and thus understand what the residents are going through. We also were very pleased with the periodic updates that were provided to us during his stay. We are so grateful to Danielle (therapist), Shayla (case worker), Dawn (nurse practitioner), staff that I had the pleasure meeting in person, and the rest of the healthcare workers team. While our son was very reluctant at the beginning and took a lot of convincing, at the end he was very pleased of the time he spent at ICFR (the above feedback we got from him). We wholeheartedly recommend ICFR with no reservation.

My time at ICfR has been a roller coaster in the best way. Recovery from addiction or mental health is never easy, but the staff at the Mishawaka location has made my journey as smooth as possible and I know I've made lifelong supports and friends here. I leave soon, and though I hope I'll never need to come back as a client, I pray I can come back and give the same experience I had to someone else that needs the help ICfR provides. No pool, though. :)
The entire staff in Sept 2025 is amazing. Raises all around, or at least free lunch. Love y'all; Billy Bob.

My personal recovery journey at ICFR has been great. The counselours, staff, med management and nurses were great. The admissons process could use some work on the information that is told to potential clients, that would resolve a lot of the problems I have witnessed clients have with the facility and a few of my own. But overall if you come in with an open mind, ready to put the work in and focus on your journey and not others you can and will have a great foundation for whatever recovery journey you're on.
