Just went in for my first initial visit today. All of the staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and very empathetic. The front desk ladies were so nice and awesome to chat with. Dominic, the man who did my evaluation questionnaire, was incredibly kind, empathetic, so thoughtful, and so helpful. There were times during the evaluation where I was very tearful and upset about my situation, and he was an amazing listener and gave great support. This is an incredible resource for mental health in Jackson County. I ve utilized their services and despite some communication issues, they are always so kind and accommodating. Many negative experiences I see are from people already dealing with a lot of stress outside of this facility, and aren t patient going into it.Like other bureaucratic services, it helps going into this place with a mindful and patient attitude, if you can.

The front reception desk team is friendly , attentive and helpful. I have never felt so seen , welcomed and accepted. The NP I saw was so down to earth and understanding. My therapist was genuine and I truly felt heard. After a horrible experience with another facility with Burrell I came here, and I m so glad I did. Courtney , Hannah and Tanner are all amazing team members here. I m very sad to be moving again, and leaving their care. But I won t forget the kindness and generosity I experienced here. Thank you all so much for what you do. I wish I could send everyone here.So warm , welcoming and inviting. Snacks , water and charging stations and vending machines in the lobby really make a difference for people who are waiting on rides or waiting in between appointments. I can t say enough good things. Current Inpatient resident who would like to say I came with much trepidation and anxiety. All of which I was able to shed easily on account of the staff and friendly fellow residents. Not in any small part because of Kerry (think I spelled that right) in detox, because she is @$$@ ing hilarious, and made me feel a lot better. I mean, guys, it s rehab.. ;) But this is a very good rehab. Admins listen.EDIT: It took guys.. It really took this time. I shed the $&!t colored goggles. And the world is vivid.. bright.. and while i honestly believed I'd be dead by now... In reality I'm happier than I think I ever have been. I couldn't see it back then.
