I'm currently in mental health groups also ,therapy sessions there at the Denville ,Nj location ;and I can say that the staff in the wellness office are very professional and polite and helpful in any information or concerns I ask or have. The therapist there is awesome and understanding, but he recently left to a other job besides that I forgot to mention it's a no judgment zone at groups.I will continue to update this in future post to see if feel the same.
Update things are still going well ,but the downside about the place is sometimes the communication about transportation( pick ups ) are especially unpredictable may forget to pick you up sometimes because of lack of drivers or communication/weather ;and sometimes group's time are changing every month and people leave for vacation or which jobs. My old therapist move to a different job so they replaced me with someone else. I'm still attending my mental health groups and I see a psychiatrist for my medication. I will update you guys soon take care always.

New Pathway has been the best experience in my recovery. The way the program is run is different than any other iop. The counselors train you physically, mentally, and emotionally. With the soarfit workout, the yoga/meditation and groups, I always feel great when I leave. And when you graduate, alumni can come back and continue with the workouts! East Coast Recovery is amazing! It’s amazing because the people that work there are incredible and they care very much about seeing clients succeed. I initially planned on being at East Coast on a week to week basis, not knowing how it was going to be before I got there. By far the best place around. If your serious about your recovery, this is the place. It’s not just all about the medication, it’s about the staff as well. My counselor, Sharece T saved my life. She goes above and beyond the call of duty and treats people as an individual, not a group, because we’re all different. She really took the time to get to know me and get to the root of the problem and checks up regularly to see if everything’s going well. I’ve been to many places, doctors, meetings and rehabs. No one has ever understood me better, witch is very important in recovery so you can be treated accordingly. I finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. I’m extremely grateful and blessed for my counselor Sharece. A huge thanks to this organization and most importantly, my counselor.

Best facility for treatment of Dual Diagnoses and mental health. 10/10 reviews - very receptive, caring, kind, intellectual, capable and grounding staff.
I’ve been here just 3 weeks and I can already tell the difference. I’m more grounded, mindful and feel more calm and peaceful.
GenPsych teaches you skills to deal with life. CBT, DBT, mindfulness, coping skills and much more. The entire staff is nice, knows exactly what they’re doing and they personalize treatment as much possible. Best thing that’s happened to me in the past 2.5 years ❤️

Going to the Livingston GenPsych was one of the best things I have ever done for myself - if not the best thing I have ever done for myself. The therapists there are incredible - Julie, Charlotte, Mike, Kayla, Eric are all fantastic, incredible people who have changed so many lives including my own. They truly care. The office receptionist, Provy, is a queen and a kind, friendly face who instantly makes you feel safe and the security guard, Max, is a gem as well. It is such a great, loving place and it is what you make it. The DBT program saved my life - it is hard, but give yourself up to it. :)

I don't understand the negative reviews for this place. We found getting registered and placed with someone easy and accommodating. Kelly is AMAZING! I have not had positive experiences in the past with therapists, but she is the absolute best. She's "real," she listens, she is amazing at planning a session but also pivoting if necessary. I can't say enough good things about her!

I had the best experience ever at Summit Overlook Labor and Delivery! All of the doctors and nurses were incredibly supportive, kind, and full of great advice. My baby was born on 10/27, and the entire experience was amazing. During delivery, the nurses were cheering me on, it was such an empowering moment surrounded by strong, encouraging women.
Later, when I had a tough evening with my newborn, the nurses were right there for me teaching me how to latch, showing me the 5 “S’s,” staying up with me as I rocked her to sleep, and even making me an ice pack. I’m just overwhelmed with gratitude and so pleased with how the entire team treated me. I can’t thank them enough!

I can’t say enough to convey how wonderful this Hospital is , it’s the STAFF that made the experience a wow ! The hospital has been there for 150 years and could use some updates but the old adage you Can’t judge a book by its cover is true . We unfortunately, had to take my daughter into the emergency room Saturday night to get stitches put in. She is only three years old.Leah and The team of nurses were excellent they took care of my daughter, and they supported me as a parent. The therapists and groups provided me with the necessary foundation I needed to start my recovery. I particularly looked forward to groups led by Ashley, the Alumni Coordinator, she was relatable and allowed us to feel comfortable sharing about ourselves. Better late than never!
I was a patient here 13 years ago, and still clean to this day. I am currently attending school to become an addiction counselor, and I couldn’t help but think about my out patient counselor from so many years ago :) This process was by far not easy, but I just had to come here and give high praise to my counselor Jim. I don’t know if he is still there but he was amazing and saved my life. He was kind and patient and relatable… the three things we all really need when getting ourselves and our lives back together during a difficult time. I wasnt sure at first cause every place is different but this one actually worked for me. The staff were cool and they explained stuff clearly so I could follow along. Some things felt a bit slow but overall I left feeling like I had real progress and tools to keep going.

Yeah, so, my life was a bit of a dumpster fire before I showed up here at Paterson Recovery. 🔥🤷♀️ Seriously, like a bad reality TV show. But these guys? They helped me grab the extinguisher and actually put that thing out. They've got this cool way of making you face your stuff without making you feel like a total screw-up. It's tough work, no lie, but you'll probably chuckle a little along the way. Who knew getting your life back could be kinda fun? Highly recommend for anyone whose life needs a serious reboot.

Paterson Recovery had a calm, steady vibe that made the hard stuff feel doable. The staff was serious about helping, but they weren’t pushy — they explained everything clearly and made sure I felt supported through each step.The setup was clean, the schedule made sense, and I never felt lost or like just another number. I appreciated how they balanced structure with care. It gave me space to breathe, but also enough of a push to keep going. By the time I left, I felt more in control — like I had a grip on myself again.

UPDATE: I want to update my review after staying there. Let me start with the positive.... a HUGE thank you to the nurses in Pediatrics who help with surgical recovery. They are amazing and will go the extra mile to help patients. Im very grateful to them. I found all staff to be kind. What I would say is some areas of the hospital need updating. The OR looks dated and is extremely cold while the Pediatric until has rooms that are too hot. There seems to be poor temp regulation. But again, tell staff and they do their best to adjust things for you. Another suggestion is the food in recovery. I was given post op foods that had red dye 40, high fructose corn syrup and gluten...even though I explained I had a gluten sensitivity and didnt want anything with that. These are not good recovery foods to help a body. They create inflammation and issues. Whole clean foods is the way to go when a body needs to recover from trauma. Our country is antiquated in this area. Lastly, it would be nice to have warm blankets available right as someone is transitioning out of anesthesia. Those are my honest suggestions.
I will update this review as needed. During my first experience at Hoboken, I found the hospital to be dated and a bit dingy which gave me reservations about scheduling a surgery there. Then I reviewed the reviews and I have to say, I grew even more concerned about the level of care provided while in the recovery rooms. I dont know if this has changed but I seriously hope the hospital takes these reviews onto consideration and does something to improve patient experiences. The reviews in conjunction with the dated appearance are going to prevent people from selecting this hospital for a surgical preference which wont be good for the hospital. Also, does the staff feel appreciated? If not, this trickles down to patient care.
