I have been to several treatment facilities and this one is by far the best one i have been to. Not only is the facility clean and well kept, the faculty that works there have amazing hearts. This is the only treatment facility that i have been to where the staff actually genuinely care for you and your recovery/well being. They have a unique treatment plan that works. Unlike many places I have been to instead of boring you to death, they actually make recovery fun, which in my experience has a lot to do with being able to succeed in recovery. I have recommended multiple friends and family members to go here when they are struggling with addiction and will continue to recommend Steps to Recovery to anyone who asks how i got clean and remained clean. I owe my life and my recovery to these people and they will always have a special place in my heart.Just a little update, celebrating 10 years clean in a few months

I recently graduated from STR. I was in programming between May to September, originally PHP and then in the IOP mental health program. While in PHP I was in housing as well. There are family sessions offered too, but I did not utilize that service while at STR.While the house I was at was not perfect, administration tried their best to accommodate every concern clients had with the house. It was overall a clean and safe environment to live in. If there are any concerns advocate for yourself and ask a tech to call a house meeting if it is an interpersonal issue within the house. If you have a different issue communicate that to the director and it will most likely be handled promptly.The PHP (partial hospitalization program) for mental health is six days a week, 9am-1:30 Monday-Friday and 9am-12pm Saturdays. The program changes as needs change. When I first began there process groups were three hours long, but when I left they were two hours long with an additional hour of psych ed. While the day may seem long, everyone gets a break between noon and 12:30. Afternoon there are different types of therapy everyday like art therapy, DBT, CBT.IOP (intensive outpatient program) is only 9am-12pm three days a week, usually Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. The director is accommodating though so if for any reason you need to not go on a Monday, you could always go on a Saturday if you advocate for yourself.You ll have one individual session a week with one of the clinicians. I had Ashley and she is phenomenal. While the staff really do care about the clients, Ashley definitely cares about clients and it shows in her work.You ll also have a session with either Dr. Newman or Monique once a week to go over medications they are both amazing!STR is shaped not just by the staff, but clientele too. I have reinforced and grew my support system while being at STR. And while I was in the mental health program, I have substance use disorder as well, I d recommend Steps to recovery struggling with their mental health or substance use. It may take a couple of weeks to really settle into the program, but continue to do the work since you are worth it and advocate for yourself if something isn t working for you.STR is also a great facility if you re part of the LGBTQ+ community. The staff here are not just accepting, but affirming. There is an optional LGBTQ+ group once a week with Christian, which was my favorite part of the week.

The staff were all very nice for the most part. I had some great moments. STR helped me out while I was in a rough position and for that I am grateful. I appreciate that they go out of there way to help people with extenuating circumstances. There are a lot of personalities and that can frustrating. However, I would recommend this place to a friend in need. Overall, it s a good place.

RCA changed my life. The best part is the people who work there- most of who are in recovery themselves. They are so educated, relatable, easy to talk to, and understanding. I created some relationships that I will hold on to for the rest of my life. The group therapy is also very helpful- you get out as much as you put in! I highly recommend going to RCA for a fresh start to recovery.

I attended a 30 day program at RCA and it truly changed my life. The staff was compassionate, knowledgeable and supportive every step of the way. The therapy sessions, group support, and structured environment helped me understand my addiction and gave me the tools to move forward. The facility was clean and comforting, and the sense of community made all the difference. I left feeling stronger, more confident, and ready for a fresh start. I spent six months at Footprints to Recovery, and the experience was truly transformative. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with open arms and treated with respect and understanding. The staff at this facility is nothing short of extraordinary their dedication to each individual s recovery journey is evident in everything they do.During my stay, I participated in a variety of therapy sessions, including individual counseling, group therapy, and specialized workshops. These sessions were instrumental in helping me understand the root causes of my addiction and provided me with the tools and strategies I needed to manage my triggers and cravings. The therapists and counselors were compassionate, knowledgeable, and always available to offer support and guidance.One of the most valuable aspects of my time at Footprints to Recovery was the emphasis on education and skill-building. I attended several classes that covered topics such as stress management, mindfulness, and healthy coping mechanisms. Supportive and non judgement staff at Brentwood location. Very clean and group sessions were great. They truly make you feel like a human being a person. I would absolutely recommend this place.

Absolutely the best facility and most caring people I ve ever come across. Shout out to everyone at the nurses station for holding it down for me when I was at my lowest. I was real nervous to come here at first, but the staff made it real comfortable for me real fast! Clara is a godsend and such a beautiful soul kept checking in on me every time she came in for her shift kept telling me you can do this, one day at a time Jen and Glen the nurses were amazing, also all the techs were real cool def made you feel good, if you need any help def check out sunrise in stirling! You won t be disappointed, thanks again guys you changed my life love you all!

Soba is easily the best recovery center in New Jersey. The love and support is felt from entire staff. I don't know if I'd still be here without Soba. I'd like to give special thanks to Mike for making my journey as comfortable as possible and for being a great role model. Two years ago I was at the lowest point in my life. Calling SOBA for help was the smartest decision I ever made. SOBA in New Brunswick is an amazing, intimate facility that gave me a second chance and my life back. I am eternally grateful to Mike C. and the entire staff. Counselor Danielle is extremely competent and is the personification of integrity. Banyan's counselors are progressive, humane, and highly skilled. The psychiatric nurse ("Judy in the sky"), is exceptional. Kudos all the way around and "hats off" to BANYAN management for such superb personnel selections!No one comes close to knowing all there is to know in the realms of the human heart, mind, and/or collective soul. However, it is easy for this (once) PHRP Certified Researcher to realize that our counselors' attempts to help us are being made with compassion and care. I have been receiving medical treatment at Lyons and East Orange for over 12 years.. and have interacted with many medical professionals and staff.. in any large hospital setting, you will encounter dedicated people and sometimes, some that are just not smart enough to gargle.I recently had shoulder surgery and I rate it 5 stars 110%. Drs, nurses, staff were outstanding and the scheduling was perfect.God Bless all those who take care of us veterans at both hospitals.

I called up there about my dad and I was transferred to a Nursing supervisor by the name of Gwen Martin. Ms. Martin was so professional and she answered all my questions. She took it upon herself to go checkup on my dad. She reassured me that my dad would be taken care of and she even called me back to make sure that all my concerns were addressed.

Today, my boyfriend and I went to Lyons so he could enroll in the health program and get an ID card. We were helped by Venus. She was wonderful. She made everything so easy for us and was so welcoming. We were happy to have her help us and wanted everyone to know this.

A loved one went here and just got out today. The change in him is astonishing. He had nothing but good things to say about the treatment he received here and the people he met. And, a special thanks goes out to his counselor, Julia. She made a huge difference in his time there.

I am a middle aged alcoholic/addict and have been around the rehab scene for some time unfortunately. Discovery was a great experience for me and is the place to go if you want to get sober in NJ.First, my Counselor Christopher D was outstanding. The best I have ever had. I am so glad I had the opportunity to work with him. Danny, Bridget and Stacy were great back-ups when Chris wasn t available to me.The A-Team of Nurses including Samantha, Sarah, Nicole L and Katie and the others made my 4 weeks as painless both physically and mentally as possible.Hal and his staff of BETs were as good as it gets. Kevin B, Tony, Nick, Xavier, Anwar and the rest were all true pros. In particular, David and Harun overnight kept me sane on several nights of me not being able to sleep.Kyle my point man and his partners Trevor and Sarah in discharge planning were excellent and Kyle helped me get to the next stage in my recovery at one of the most sought after aftercare places in the state.Kyle M, the Director of Operations is a serious professional that runs a great organization.No matter what insurance you, this is the place if you want to get sober in NJ.Thank you Mr. B

Pyramid Langhorne is AMAZING!All of the staff from nursing to BHT's, kitchen, even the cleaning crew! The campus is beautiful and there's even wildlife. From gardening to nature walks in Tyler state Park. Outside meetings and every evening H&I meetings. Full support from all staff and a camaraderie with the other patients I've never experienced. This was a complete spiritual experience for me.

For the first time in a Rehab clinic and really help me understand that I'm not alone just give myself a break and talk about we're I'm at and what I'm going to do and keep moving forward.

My time at High Focus over several weeks was a truly positive experience. I came in with a few personal challenges to work through, and the staff treated me with the utmost care and professionalism. Grateful to the team of professionals and their prompt response. The staff and my daughter s clinician, Tim Collin s, were engaging and trustworthy providing a safe environment for her to process, reflect and adopt coping skills. If your child requires more intense therapeutic programs versus individual therapy, High Focus provides peer based support groups as well as individual therapy. Both indicative to self awareness and social skills.

Great experience despite the circumstances. High focus was definitely the right place for our daughter. Tim Collins was her clinician and I can t say enough good things about his commitment to not only our daughter but us as her parents as well. He was quick and decisive on everything we asked. Tim has a genuine soul and you could honestly feel his sincere concern for Addi! Thanks Tim!!!

By far the best place around. If your serious about your recovery, this is the place. It s not just all about the medication, it s about the staff as well. My counselor, Sharece T saved my life. She goes above and beyond the call of duty and treats people as an individual, not a group, because we re all different. She really took the time to get to know me and get to the root of the problem and checks up regularly to see if everything s going well. I ve been to many places, doctors, meetings and rehabs. No one has ever understood me better, witch is very important in recovery so you can be treated accordingly. I finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. I m extremely grateful and blessed for my counselor Sharece. A huge thanks to this organization and most importantly, my counselor.

Out of all the detox/residential facilities I've been to, this is, hands down, the best one. The food is great, the rooms are clean, and the staff cannot get sweeter. Recoverycnt changed my life view totally.

I can t thank this place enough I came in hesitant but they are so welcoming from intake to the counselors and the doctor . IOP and PHP are excellent and getting treated in an intense program dor my mental health issues without having to be hospitalized was wonderful. Hope I don t have to come back but if I do relapse or need more help this is the place I would come back to !!

My son has been in the PHP program for a month now and I can t say enough good things. Even though he came home the first day with all the reasons it was a waste and why he didn t ever want group therapy, the group therapy has proven to be the best thing since he s with peers in which he can relate. Even he will admit now how the program has helped. Such a blessing. Hang in there. It does get better.

In the program you find out a lot about yourself and the traumas that caused you to make some horrible choices. You also find out ways to deal with real life issues. This neuropsychiatric disease, that has become so pervasive, requires the Superpowers of this organization. I have witnessed first-hand how the Love, Caring, and Support offered daily in this Spiritual environment transforms lives from a feeling of hopelessness to lives of Vibrancy, Hopefulness, and a Thriving desire to internally reconnect with self, God, and loved ones. It is so palpable and amazing to watch!I am especially proud of the inexhaustible work that Bridget and Amanda are doing at the Adult & Teen Challenge, Lebanon NJ!
