Overall great experience. I have been to other detoxes before but Princeton detox was hands down the best. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful, especially Denise. Hopefully I never have to come back but if I ever do this is 100% where I will be. Rooms are nice and cleans, food is delicious and groups were very informative.

I would like to thank all the wonderful people I met at Soba.. from the nurses "Julie" and all the techs staff. They are an amazing group of people.. this place really knows how to do it. It's so clean and the food is something that I can't explain how good it was. I mean we had lamb chops for lunch full salad bar with a gourmet chef. I banged head alittle with clinical staff only to realize they were trying to help me. To which I am truly sorry about. I spent 4 weeks there and even the other patience became like family was truly a wonderful group that made all the difference. I'm not going to say it was all fun but through bouts of depression and PTSD! Things can really get dark... And I really want to thank Mike C for helping through my darkest period.. He sat with me and talked to me about what I need to do and how to get through what I was dealing with and I never had someone to help me like that before. I was all alone. "Thanks Mike "I can't really get into it here but he gave me advice that I will carry always. I'm so glad that I went to soba. It was exactly what I needed to get my life back in order and I can't thank them enough. If you or a loved one need help with this Disease. One of the best decisions I've made in my life was enrolling in SOBA'S Drug & Alchohol treatment facility located at 104 Bayard street in New Brunswick, NJ. I was only doing detox for 7 days but after experiencing the kind of care provided I decided to move up to residencial for 19 more days. The staff, from technicians, clinicians, nurses, doctors, maintenance and kitchen, are all experienced professionals that took their time with each client to make us all feel welcomed, comfortable and safe. They all thrive in a very stressful environment and always go the extra mile to meet all our needs. From group interactions to one on one therapy to administrative work, all areas are covered so as clients, we don't have to worry about the outside world. They give us the tools to beat addiction and become a better version of ourselves. They create an environment of camaraderie were all are rowing in the same direction. Mike, the director of the facility, makes you feel like an old friend and he's always available to make sure one gets the best treatment possible. Residential clients have daily access to a state of the art gym facility with pools, saunas and steam rooms. The food provided is outstanding and there's more than enough snacks available at all times. We have daily meeting from members of different fellowships like NA, AA and Smart Recovery. It was really hard to say goodbye as I move on to the next phase of my journey in sobriety. I'll never forget this experience and was the right place to take my first steps towards achieving sober living for the rest of my life. Can't thank all of them enough.

Great place. Spent several months at Soba, first at Duke Street, then here for sober living. All the clinical staff and the techs were outstanding. Best of all is the environment at Soba, which was always positive and encouraging. Soba was a great resource for me in a difficult time. I would recommend this place to anyone seeking treatment in New Jersey.

Sunrise cherry hill was a godsend. The nurse Sydney is absolutely the sweetest person you'll ever meet. I went there over a year ago and and she remembered me and made sure my stay there was comfortable. Unfortunately I've stayed at quite a few other facilities and NEVER was treated with such respect and kindness that she treated me with. She deserves a raise lol!
On the other hand..I made a very good friend in my time staying there..we kept in touch and we were both struggling. I was trying to be a good girlfriend and put my own health aside waiting waiting for him. I now know know that I need further assistance than just detox . He's not even. Being a decent human being/and/or being nice about it. I tried called the Sterling location 5 times where my friend is. She told me there is in IN FACT beds available but the person on the phone wasnt so friendly..almost demeaning. He said "just because there's beds available doesn't mean there's beds available". I was very confused...almost like he didn't want to help me save my life. And he was just annoyed to be answering the phone. He told me over and over in an annoyed and stern voice as I was in tears to call back at 9am. Im just lucky im not someone who is WAY more fragile and sensitive amd nothing terrible happened 🥺

High Focus came into my life at the right time. I was really hurting and dealing with major depression due to some tough life circumstances. High Focus gave me my life back. Their staff was so welcoming and kind. My clinician Taylor was so incredibly helpful and challenged me in all the right ways to get the growth I needed out of the programs. Kellie my clinician was excellent, she was compassionate, understanding, and really pushed me when I desperately needed to be pushed. All the clinicians who ran the groups were fantastic, Karyn, Ashley, Taylor, Kellie, Kendall, you all have made such positive impacts on my life. I can’t recommend high focus enough to those out there who are struggling mentally. I’ve been through Princeton house prior, and High Focus is far and away the best program around.

My experience at Wellbridge was beyond expectations. The staff (case managers, nurses, support team, kitchen aides, etc.) went above the call of duty and were easy to work with. I only completed the program today, but High Focus was the best experience of my life, truly, and I cannot recommend and speak more highly of it enough. The clinicians are amazing at their jobs and they truly care about the work they are doing and about the group members. The lessons are extremely helpful, especially if you really take them in and High Focus provides all of the tools you need to learn distress tolerance, emotional regulation, coping skills, etc. Jade, Caryn, Taylor, Kellie, Kendall, Ashley, and Cassidy are all absolutely amazing clinicians and I cannot thank them enough for all they have done for me and the impact High Focus has made on my life. If you, or anyone you know, is struggling, I absolutely recommend contacting the Freehold location to schedule an intake. I am truly not just saying this, but if I did not find High Focus, I am not sure where I would be at mentally and emotionally right now. Even the APN is absolutely fantastic and will help get you stabilized if medication is needed, and Donna at the front desk is fantastic, too! The entire staff here are absolute angels and in comparison to other PHP/IOP programs available, High Focus is the best around! If you are struggling with just mental health, there is a track for that, but also if you are struggling with substance use/mental health, there is also a track for that which I think sets HF apart from any other program. I cannot thank the team enough for the impact they’ve made on my life, which I will always be grateful for, and for the confidence I have gained from attending here and knowing that I CAN continue on this path, but also knowing that they are always there if I need more support in the future. :)

I have been receiving medical treatment at Lyons and East Orange for over 12 years.. and have interacted with many medical professionals and staff.. in any large hospital setting, you will encounter dedicated people and sometimes, some that are just not smart enough to gargle.
I recently had shoulder surgery and I rate it 5 stars 110%. Drs, nurses, staff were outstanding and the scheduling was perfect.

Kristine Aguilar has been my therapist for 1.5 years and within that timeframe, my anger, depressed mood, and anxiety have decreased substantially. She is excellent at explaining DBT and helping me to use its skills in my life. She questions me gently, never afraid to ask me the hard questions so that I have greater insight into my feelings and behaviors. I feel unafraid about being 100% honest with her. My quality of life has improved 200%. I recommend her wholeheartedly to anyone who is unafraid to change their life. ps--I don't know why some other reviews are complaining about the "overcharging," or being charged if clients don't give 24 hours notice to cancel an appointment; their policy is very clear. I find that to be a very fair policy, if you don't like it, then go to another therapist center in the first place. And I bet they all have a policy like that.

This is a safe sanctuary where I did not want to go. I went in and felt cautious, but was welcomed with open arms. I was treated with respect even when I felt I did not deserve it. My counselor Lora believed in me and saved me when I was at the lowest point of my life. Social recovery center. Man.. my life before social recovery center was pure madness , no hope and lost. I was refered to social recovery center by the rehab I was in, I didn’t know what IOP was , I just knew I needed something to guide me in the right direction. Once I walked in those doors , the smiles followed by a warm welcoming hit me. It was all so new to me. The information I’ve learned about myself from the counselors and what I have to deal with is life saving. Once I heard that information , I couldn’t unknow it. The other stories , struggles or whatever that I heard really stuck with me. The way I’ve identified and realized , damn they have it worse. It feels good to be around people that understand my struggle. The support I’ve recived from my counselors and peers were more support than I’ve ever recived from anyone. Acenda IH is an incredible community focused program. They helped me naglvigate the challanges of single parenthood while being dissabled and homeless. Because of them I could have a safe place to stabilize my mental health whole gathering community resources and leaning into the knowledge of their professionals and advocates to help me get through the myriad of things that pop up when youre trying to settle down.
