Doctor, Annie, Rodriguez resident, and Dr Mark McQueeney ER Are two of the best doctors I’ve ever had to take care of me, they went above and beyond the call of duty to find out what’s going on with me even with the extreme heavy load that they had. Dr. McQueen he left his ER post for a quick five minutes to come and examine me as he Had the knowledge to do and special eye exam due to the pressure that I had behind my eye. Dr. Rodriguez physically went down to the emergency room to find a Doctor Who had the experience to do this test and Dr. McQueeney was the one she found, and both were more than willing to do whatever they had to do to find out what was going on with me and how they Could help me…… thank you, Dr. McQueeney and thank you Dr. Rodriguez for all the caring and above and beyond medical treatment that I received!! Choicepoint has been a really wonderful option for me after waiting to seek treatment for a long time. Since being in the program for 2 1/2 months, I can already see a lot of changes in myself that I didn't anticipate happening so quickly. The team is very knowledgeable and good at explaining medical terminology around addiction into easily understandable language that was easy for me to digest. The group sessions were particularly helpful as they provided an opportunity to share time with others who are going through the same experience, which is not something I have in my "real" life. I had Darien and Sam for group, and both are very kind and good at creating a safe and friendly atmosphere where people that start as strangers feel comfortable sharing private things about themselves. Darien took time out of his day to help advise me once on natural remedies for anxiety, and Sam has a great candor and humor which makes group a pleasant experience - something I never would have expected going into the program. Joanna, the nurse at Choicepoint, is very kind and takes time to explain to you different options for MAT without pushing you in one direction - she explains everything so well that you feel very confident in whichever option you choose. Gina, who I had as a counselor, also helped me process how I make decisions and the behavior behind my actions, which has helped me to understand myself better. It's been a great thing for me and I really recommend it to anyone.

If it wasn’t for Jesus Christ I would not be sober today. He receives all the credit for my rest, peace, restoration, rehabilitation, recovery and sobriety. I credit MM with convincing me to enter recovery. When I second guessed attending MM, from director down to intake coordinators they shared the benefits and advantages of the programs. I especially thank Irma for her encouraging personality and experience in the real world. The intake staff played a big role in getting me out of Michigan; where I felt unsafe and incapable of defeating the disease of alcohol and addiction. They called me 2-4 times a day, 7 days a week, for 1 month. They didn’t know me, but it felt as if they did. I finally had a friend or somewhat like a loved one that actually care about me living.
Two therapist stood out to me; Meagan and Jesse! They were amazing. They obviously put not only their minds to their clinical groups, but they pour their energy and hearts into their therapy. I truly wish that one of them was my personal therapist while I was in the program. Jesse mastered bring clients/patients together. Meagan was unbelievable, her therapy and meditation tactics enhanced my relationship with Christ. It allowed me to focus in on my praying, conversational skills, praise and listening skills with Christ personally. In 2022, my father died and under the influence of my disease, I decided to not complete my MA in CMHC although I was only four classes away. Meagan’s expertise and compassion has changed my mind. I’m going to finish my Masters!!!!
She was amazing!
I also enjoyed specific staff members whom compassion and care was beyond genuine. Those staff members were two different Dans, Olivia, Victoria, Bill, Nick and Maryam.
The highlight of my experience at MM were MY PEOPLE! Those who were just like me. Race didn’t matter, gender was no factor, and we all were blinded to anyone’s lifestyle preferences. We loved each other, taught each other, hugged each other, shared together, and encouraged one another. We all shared the same desire to be free. Not just free of addiction, but free in life alone. I encouraged everyone in my path to hate! Yes, I said it, “Hate”! I encouraged to hate drugs and alcohol. And I also loudly and proudly shared the name of my Higher Power. I will once again, if your searching for a Higher Power, I like to recommend mine. His name is Jesus! He has freed me in life.
If you are ready for a new journey of sobriety, I strongly recommend MM of Randolph, NJ. This facility may require you to detox first, and two hours away I had an even greater experience at Enlightened Recovery located in Atlantic City, NJ.

I would like to start off by saying my case manager Jill has went above and beyond for me. Any question I had or anything I needed she made sure to get it figured out. Than Chris was one of my first staff I’ve met and since than he’s been my rock. He can notice the slightest chance in my mood and will hop right into action with whatever he needs to do. A couple other staff members that I’ve clung to because they’ve made it so safe are, Brooke, Dashon, Shaneequa and Rachel, they take there jobs so seriously and truely do just want the best for each and everyone of us. We’re not just people detoxing to them. They become our friends, supporters. Nurse katrina and nurse Alex have been my saving grace, taking care of me phychially but even emotionally. Our little talks while they do my vitals goes a whole long way with me. And last but not least the entire kitchen staff, they feed us but also keep us feeling humanized as they serve us this delicious food they’ve spent all day making. This is such a well oiled machine from every which way and I’m glad to have gotten help here and I’m forever thankful for them all & for blue crest.

I've had multiple services done at New Bridge (ultrasounds, bloodwork, and CT scan) and had a great experience with them. The staff were friendly and the services were completed quickly and accurately. They sent the results to my other doctors as needed both within the New Bridge system and out (my a long time cardiologist in NYC). I also know that they provide a ton of community services to the local Bergen county area and beyond, and though I haven't personally needed it, their ER frequently has very quick waiting times compared to other hospitals I have experienced. Additionally, my primary care provider, Mellie Belvis, is part of New Bridge as well, and she is outstanding in terms of care, attentiveness, and skill. Highly recommended for healthcare services!

I'm truly astonished at the ungrateful and entitled people who are leaving these bad reviews.
They expect Club Med, for FREE no less, as someone holds their hand for 24 hours a day and sings them to sleep.
Unbelievable.
I arrived at Bergen New Bridge as many others have, sick, terrified and defeated. I had been absolutely abandoned by my pain management doctor of 15 years when my regular monthly Methadone prescriptions suddenly become impossible to fill as I had been doing for a decade and a half. New DEA rules or some such nonsense.......I won't get into specifics as to how badly my dr screwed me and how he just didn't care that I was about to enter hell, but he did and I was completely out of options.
After finding nothing on the internet that wasn't 30 to 50 thousand dollars, I found New Bridge. I couldn't believe that they took me right in with no insurance or money.
They got me through five really hard days......coming off of 80 MG of methadone a day for 15 plus years was no joke......but the doctors gave me meds that made it entirely bearable, I was actually amazed that I didn't get a lot sicker. The staff are all caring and attentive. Sure, its old but its clean. A bed and a TV and 3 meals a day (food was OK, sure could have been a lot worse) what more do you want for free for god's sake?
I would recommend this place to anyone needing help with nowhere else to turn.
Dr Accurso deserves a special shout out, he is amazing.

All of them have dual licenses in su | Treatments Programs Payment Options | Going to the Livingston GenPsych was one of the best things I have ever done for myself - if not the best thing I have ever done for myself. The therapists there are incredible - Julie, Charlotte, Mike, Kayla, Eric are all fantastic, incredible people who have changed so many lives including my own. They truly care. The office receptionist, Provy, is a queen and a kind, friendly face who instantly makes you feel safe and the security guard, Max, is a gem as well. It is such a great, loving place and it is what you make it. The DBT program saved my life - it is hard, but give yourself up to it. :)

This is a throwaway account for my own privacy. I did the PHP and IOP program at GenPsych in Livingston after I got out of the hospital. I am indebted to the staff, counselors, and fellow clients. I was at my lowest point and am able to say now that I am the healthiest I've ever been, and it's in part because of this program. One drawback I noticed is that they did have high turnover while I was there and seemed to have a lot of newer counselors who were not as experienced, but the DBT program is something that can be administered by anyone. If you're hesitating about doing this, I'd recommend it.

So I attended the intensive outpatient DBT program here for several months, and it was a challenging, emotional and also wonderful, rewarding experience. My therapist, Kayla, was incredible - very relatable and down-to-earth, compassionate and yet still held me accountable. The front desk staff and other DBT session leaders were great too - shout-out to Provi! If you've made it this far into my review and are debating whether or not to try the DBT program: DO IT. Commit, do the homework, participate in the groups, and it will be the first (big) step towards a better life.

2025: Went here for a second opinion from Dr. John Halperin -- Neuroscience. He reviewed the previous results and performed some additional testing. Thus far we are impressed with his opinion. Will update after the test results are in and he renders his final opinion.

I can just speak to the job of emergency services. The entire medcal staff was top notch- kind, understanding and professional. I cannot say enough positive about the security staff! They helped us maneuver in and out of the building and were the nicest most helpful in every aspect! Ten stars for them if I could! Overall a most positive experience during a difficult time.
