Listen, I am a total mess most of the time due to my catastrophizing things. I make everything start at worst case scenario hoping it doesn't stay there but unfortunately it sometimes does. Im not going to give you a play by play or some incredible testimony because my story is still going strong but I've come a very long way and I 💯 give my counselor, Susan, alot of credit for sticking by me even bk in the beginning when I would be nasty and childish towards her and ill never forget when she told me that she was just waiting for me to be ready. * full disclosure im a garbage head and at the time I needed rehab terribly. And she was so patient and calm n it drove me nuts. Until one day, I walked into her office and said im ready. And from that chair in her office I left for rehab right away thanks to a combined effort of the staff, Will a former employee but mainly through her approach over months. I've had several wonderful things happen since then but most importantly I finally won my 3 year battle with CPS and gained joint custody of my son back. Now, don't get it twisted, I am far from a shiney happy person now. I've got major struggles right now but ever since that day she can't get rid of me off her caseload. Mainly because secretly im her favorite.😄 but i won't let them switch me because Susan really does care about her clients and I am sure of it for many reasons. If Susan isn't you're counselor you're missing out. And because of her this center gets a 5 star 🌟 rating from me. Which, btw, NEVER happens.

Just got here two days ago. Very warm, welcoming and friendly staff. Relevant and very helpful recovery education. House for women is beautiful. Very clean and pleasant house members. Everyone really is working hard on their recovery here and it shows. Wonderful and caring house manager. In just two days, I feel like I am at home and I feel very safe and comfortable. The director personally took his time to meet with me and the other new girls. He is a very nice man. Thank you sobriety solutions. I would recommend this rehab to anyone!!Especially coming from someone who is not a first time winner and has been to many other centers. Very appreciative and grateful for this place!!!

Today's marks my 4 year sober anniversary and it all started with Seabrook. I went when COVID was everywhere and unfortunately after a week about half of the staff was out due to testing positive. Even with half of the staff gone, the rest of the staff did everything and anything they could to help those who truly accepted it. You're able to see people from all walks of life, different backgrounds and of all ages struggle to find peace within themselves and know you're not alone. The speakers who come are extremely powerful with their raw true stories about addiction BUT also more importantly about how they're recovering and kept fighting for themselves. I had no idea what to expect when I went as it was my first time getting help and even acknowledging I needed it. Going to Seabrook and getting sober was the absolute best thing I ever did for myself. Life can be hard but it's not attacking you personally. Once you start to heal yourself, you see more of the beauty in the world and in people. There's way and I mean way more good people than bad. They want to see you succeed and just be happy. Those people are everywhere and once you clear the fog(drugs) from your mind and body you will find them. You then become those who helped you and you get to help others just by staying sober and showing it can happen. I know you guys will be open once again to help those who need it. I have so much love for all of you and thank you for never giving up on us even when it's hard. I am a recovering alcoholic and today I have 4 years sober. I have a new career, an amazing fiance and my life is just beginning. Never give up and know you're not alone. Zoom meetings are 24/7 and they're tons of communities online. You got this! 😀❤️

I went to this detox and rehab several times and they always accepted me back and let me keep trying to get myself clean a year and a half ago I went to their pemberton campus which is not the best of places but I made due and I’ve been clean a little over 18 months now so I don’t think it’s ever the rehab because I’ve been literally everywhere just has to do with if the persons willing to put in the work to make the best of the place they can get in get as much out of it and not go back out and use so you don’t ever have to be in an uncomfortable place like detox and rehab rehab and detox isn’t supposed to be comfortable and with how a lot of these places are they make it so comfortable people want to keep coming back but this place not only was my counselor great but the techs were great and went above and beyond to make sure that I was fed if I was too sick to get up and go to any meal and made sure I was up for my smoke break I owe Merryville my life because I’d probably be dead if they didn’t get me extensions and set me up for my mat treatment for when I left. I would like to thank the entire staff at the Williamstown location for being there! This experience was very hard for me and even harder to stay and complete. However, I did complete, Thankfully! This place was and still is a blessing for me. This was my first time in a place like this and it was a very positive experience. I can not say enough positive things about the cit's and Maryville in a whole. I was treated with respect from everyone there. I feel as though they go above and beyond for there clients. They give you all the tools you need to be successful apone leaving and I'm very thankful for that. It is how anything is in life you will only get out of it what you put in to it and that being said I got more than words can say out of it, but that is because I chose to make it that way. I want to thank Maryville and all the cit's / counslers there you guys have saved my life and I will forever be thankful to you all. Big shout out to a few people who deserve honorable mentions as they went above and beyond for me and everyone around them. First is Derek and Tay they work over night and we're always a ray of sunshine when they came in. Mr E is the most down to earth man and super understanding. He is very protective of his clients and it shows in his all around character. Also the cit June bug ( Jesus) he has a great grasp on recovery he helped me in more ways then I can say. Last but far from least is the A team of nurses barb and Julie these two nurses gave me all the respect a man can ask for. I love Maryville! This is where I got clean from heroin. I was a user for 20 sum years and never thought I would be able to make it a day without it. All you need to want to do is try, go even if it's just for detox. You could always stay longer, just like I did. The counselors there are cool as hell. The nurses are great and they never let you feel uncomfortable. The food there is great as well. I highly recommend you going there. I'm 9months 7 days clean and I love it. All thanks to Maryville.

Bianca engaged clients to open up and say what’s on their minds, even if they sometimes don’t open up, she seemed to be able to make everyone feel comfortable enough to open up and express how they’re feeling. I've been coming here since 2013 and it's great. Kim and John are the best. This place helps with drug addiction, homelessness, runs groups including AA and NA groups, has summer barbecues on the holidays, goes on trips, has Halloween and Thanksgiving parties for those who have no place to go during the holidays, goes on trips, runs self help groups, has a food pantry and a clothing drive, does arts and crafts, has a free printer and fax machine, has free Wawa food on Thurs and Fri. And much more. The staff is very friendly and the building is very clean. I luv this place. I definitely recommend it to ppl who are struggling.

Updated 2024 - Still grateful for ARS. The nursing & front window staff is incredible. 🖤 THEY are who holds this place together & keeps it running smoothly. But since my original review, owners have taken on even MORE patients. I have gotten to a place where I only go 2 xs a month. So doesn't affect me as much as it will newer patients. But still wanted to make a note of it.
I have to start out saying ARS is what you make of it. I have been on this program for many years (that is MY journey, maybe not yours) but i have YET to have ANY issues with staff abusing power. A legit 10 + years and not ONCE has anyone abused their power w me.
👉*IF YOU*
• Come and do what you are SUPPOSED to.
• LEAVE when u are done.
• Stop using (u have time to adjust.)
• Give clean drug tests.
• Dont cause chaos & drama.
•Treat everyone how YOU like to be treated.
👉You should NOT have any problems.
👉*But...If you*
•Befriend all the slackers w no jobs doing nothing w their lives still.
• Chill in parking lot for an hour (or until kicked out by security.).
• Make BFFs w other patients that are STILL living dirty.
• Find yerself a boyfriend or girlfriend that is still using OR new in recovery also.
👉 Basically if you treat this place A SOCIAL EVENT/ dating app - Yes, you WILL have issues & time there WILL suck.
I do agree w/ one of the posters before me...it WAS better in Sommers Point. When we moved locations they took on WAY too many patients. When I started there was a little over 200, now there is 3 TIMES PLUS that. Staff doesnt have the time they need & have WAY too much on their caseloads. Granted, Dr.Roth is a SUPERHERO. He will gonabove and beyond for you if he knows you are doing the right thing.
But for a PRIVATE (aka for profit) facility, I DO expect to get what I NEED out of it. At OVER $100 a week per patient + payouts for things we accomplish (i.e. groups, sessions, ect) it would be nice to have the community feel we once had here. It was SUCH a great place when the staff wasnt overloaded. And I mean GREAT. I understand this IS FOR PROFIT clinic but it's started to get that "state funded" feel. 😞 I mean, obvi this IS a BUSINESS, but still. There has to be a line drawn somewhere. I have moved many times for work in life so have been to 5 diff clinics. State funded AND private. I picked this place BACAUSE it was privately owned.
It's STILL a great place, and i am grateful for it. Don't get me wrong... but if u knew how much better it was run BEFORE the move -
you'd understand.
Again-Stay away from the slackers & drama queens/kings. Do what you are supposed to do. Give clean drug tests, Go to at least 1 group OR see yr councelor for alternate ways if u have a career/work days. GET A JOB or go to school & make something of yourself. Nothing will change if YOU don't.

Great place for recovery! They have child care if you need it and possible transportation. They also have services for domestic violence. I wish I would have came sooner. Best counseling I've ever gotten. 💖🌠 If you need help I highly recommend them.

i usually hate calling anywhere to make appointments because whoever answers the phone sounds like they just want to hurry up and rush to do whatever they need to do or just don’t have very pleasant attitudes. Donna answered my call and set up my appointment and she was very sweet and helpful! I’ve been nervous about going back to therapy but she made that first step very easy for me. She was amazing!

Although sending my loved one to treatment is never easy, I found Daytop Staff to be patience and helpful. The therapist, Case Management staff and the Clinical Director were very professional and helpful. During my son's stay we participated in the family association and this support was very helpful. In the end it takes a team of good people to make recovery work and I feel that Daytop Staff helped not only my son but us as a whole. When I see reviews I get worried and was able to take a tour and se the program for myself. I am glad I selectee Daytop for my child and am pleased to report he is doing well.

I went here two years ago I was broken mentally and physically, I’m also handicapped with one leg and I was treated exceptional. I’ve had horrible experiences at other places, but the BHT‘s counselors and medical staff treated me with the proper amount of care compassion and love in order for me to get my life back together. It’s been two years. I have my own apartment a car. I’m living a life beyond my wildest dreams I found happiness and I’m not lying. I owe this place tremendously. I never even knew I could have a life like this. There’s phenomenal people that work here that really care like Krissy Alexis, Jordan, Beatrice and many more I give this place 10 stars if I could save my life and gave me back to my family

I’ve been to Pyramid multiple times and I felt welcomed and comfortable this time around. I had great groups with staff and it motivated me more in my recovery. I had a great detox counselor (Jen) who really helped me and encouraged me to continue into the short-term program.

I’m 3 years clean and my journey started at Pyramid detox along with 30 days inpatient. At the time I wasn’t sure about staying clean but being there helped me make a decision that has changed my life. I remember a few of the staff that helped me tremendously. Christy was one of them. I met her right away , she did my intake. I laugh at it today because she searched me and found a bag of heroine that I didn’t know I had. She threw it out for me and took the time to talk to me and get to know me as a person first. I will never forget her. She went above and beyond to help me make this decision. 3 years later and I am forever grateful.

The front desk ladies were so kind and helpful. The case manager (I think that’s who she was lol) was so helpful and understand. Also Dr.A was very easy to talk to and even with my situation he still commended me for my part in my recovery.

I came into sjrr about 3 years ago. I came straight from Camden county jail because nobody else wanted me around. I was hopeless, poor, had no sense of direction, and was just gradually slipping away due to drugs. But honestly, getting in touch with Sjrr was by far the best decision I ever made. Sjrr is a family whom can be trusted, and I learned that almost immediately after moving in. Being able to trust in someone, for me, was huge and gave me the ability to put trust back into other people as well.
They have beautiful, structured homes equipped with everything you need to live a happy sober life. Also as time has gone on, they have upgraded tremendously. I’m so grateful I found sjrr, I feel like without them, I wouldn’t be anywhere near where I’m at now.
If you’re thinking about getting into a sober living, south jersey recovery residences is by far the best choice. Once you’re apart of the Sjrr family, you’re apart of this family forever!
