I started out here on methadone, then left and came back on suboxine and now go there for the brixadi shot. All of the staff are so nice, easy to talk to and supportive. My counselor Jackie is the by far the best councelor I’ve ever sat down with in all my years in and out of addiction. She truly cares, and will go above and beyond to help you with anything you need. All the nurses are so great and easy to talk to. I highly recommend somerdale treatment center to anyone battling addiction and trying to work their way toward recovery. I didn’t even expect to be going to a sober house because you rarely find any that truly care but this one so does. i wouldn’t recommend any other but just stay in your own lane & you can’t really do social media there, that was so i misunderstood & i don’t want anyone else to run into that communication process the way i did. Haley who works at the front desk is the most sweetest, helpful, caring staff member I've ever had the pleasure of working with in regards to my sobriety and staff at a facility. She is always open and honest l. She's never guided me in the wrong direction. Honestly she works so hard in taking care of us clients and what we need that sometimes it feels like I'm not doing enough for my own recovery. If you're nervous about taking the next step in your recovery as I was never have been to a PHP before. She makes sure that it's a smooth transition. Honestly the only way you could think Haley or the rest of the staff isn't doing enough for you is if you're so lazy and aren't really serious about your recovery that you just expect everyone to do everything for you. I. That case you may need a higher level of care. Because I've never been so excited and felt like I had the help I need in my recovery as I do in sober solutions and working with Haley. High Focus Center managers called me following her report to CPS and told me the ****Jersey Spirit number and case number and had me handle explaining their mistake on my own so that they wouldn’t be reported for false reporting. That woman is a therapist there now, and it’s obviously because people are covering up her mistakes because the blonde woman managing the place told me she needed to “protect her employees”. I’ll never get over it. It’s been two years. The CPS lady told me they were shocked by their mistreatment of my case when they immediately dismissed my “case”. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS. NOT A SINGLE RESPONSE FROM PHONE OR EMAIL FROM THE COMPANY. Run for the hills… Carley Anne 4 months ago I was extremely disappointed by my time at High Focus. This was the second IOP I've done, and I know how helpful group therapy and IOP's in general can be when you are in your darkest moments. High Focus lacked structure, the therapists seem to lack training and lacked coordination with each other. One therapist literally said "Sounds like you have depression figured out"..??!!?!? The psychiatrists here also did not seem to care to get to know you, at all. Therapist Julianna was the only redeeming part of this place. Don't get me started on how much money I had to pay to be there either. There was no coordination helping me know whether it would be covered by my insurance or not, and I was certainly not in a place to be able to advocate for myself in that way. What I will say , take one day at a time , remember where your addiction took you . The person on people that gave it to you aren’t your “friends”. There drug acquaintances ! Being thankful that I wasn’t out on the streets buying it , or any form of entertainment to get it.
