I can’t say enough good things about this facility/program. I did my IOP here and from day one, I felt supported, understood, and genuinely cared for. Courtney and Mika are incredibly knowledgeable and compassionate—they don’t just go through the motions; they truly invest in your growth and wellbeing.
The groups were meaningful, engaging, and actually useful in real life, not just “textbook recovery.” I learned tools that helped me rebuild structure, confidence, and balance in my life. The environment felt safe, nonjudgmental, and motivating, and I always walked out feeling better than when I walked in... they even have recliner "lay down and share" chairs oh and the Coffee is top notch
This facility played a huge role in my progress, and I’m grateful for every counselor, staff member, and peer who helped me along the way. If you’re looking for an IOP that truly cares and makes a real impact, this is the place. Highly recommend.

My experience at Steps to Recovery has been great for the most part, the people and the environment are very welcoming and comforting. I have had some issues that have come up, but they usually get resolved. My only main gripe is with some of the other clients at the community living house fail to clean up after themselves, and some do not know self control. But, the staff here is very professional and easy to talk to. I find that the opportunities here for my recovery journey are pretty good, although I'd like access to more holistic therapy resources. I've actually personally facilitated a Dharma meeting and will facilitate more in the future. I appreciate my time here at STR and am excited for the future with them.
I went to RCA three years ago, and I can honestly say they saved my life. When I arrived, I was completely consumed by my addictions and had no idea how to climb out. This place gave me the tools, structure, and support I needed to rebuild myself from the inside out.
The staff truly cares. They don’t just treat you, they teach you. I learned coping skills, accountability, and how to face life without numbing everything. They helped me understand my patterns, break them, and replace them with healthier habits. Even now, years later, I still use what I learned there.
I walked in broken and walked out with hope, clarity, and a future. If you’re struggling and you’re ready for real change, this is the place that can give you your life back. I’m forever grateful.

The great outweigh the frustrations.
The staff in the building are capable, competent, compassionate, patient, and truly wonderful! They helped me unlock so much in my recovery, and I left my 30 day treatment feeling like a truly new man. I feel like Im a version of myself that I didn’t know existed. I have such supreme admiration for the boots on the ground: Marguerite, Kelly, Sheets, and Jeff, to the case managers (shoutout Maggie), to the group leaders like Betty, Scott, Nick, Donald, Kevin, Rob, Ben, to the nursing and RSS staff, the cleaning staff, and kitchen staff. They all contributed in saving my life.
The frustrations stem from the negligence at the top levels of this company. There were several situations, and altercations that put the patients hygeine, safety, and ultimately, sobriety in jeopardy due to extreme budget cuts. The “interim ceo” peacocks around the hallways, and when directly adressed by patients with issues about patients concerns, he smugly passes the buck and ignores said issues. If it werent for these frustrations, this place could be the gold standard for recovery.
For these reasons, I give the staff a 9 out of 5, and the pencil pushers a resounding 0 out of 5.

My grandfather is there at the long term care home facility nothing but great care and service there for him there so far he’s been there since September
Through my recovery journey I have been to a number of treatment programs and facilities both php/iop-residential and have done well at most of them, but Footprints stands out as one of my favorites, by far, and the one I have made the most growth and progress at. I came in with a positive mindset, open to any and everything they had to offer and was able to really take advantage of it all. One thing I am most grateful for is the environment and community that grew my positive energy. Everyone from my APN, Dee, my therapist, Michael who I have learned so much from. Jose, my case manager who has always went above and beyond to facilitate any other needs I had. And for Melvin who always was a leader and ready with a smile and positivity. I always felt comfortable and connected. It was always easy for everyone and myself yo be able to engage in group settings and that is a credit to the vibe and energy of each one of the therapists who ran each session. If this is your first time coming to treatment, Footprints gets an A++ from me. Its always tough to take that first step, but they do an amazing job of walking with you the rest of the way. I'm writing this review to express my sincere appreciation for Chris Vallecillo, a clinician who truly made a difference in my treatment at Relevance. I worked with Chris for a significant period, and his approach to therapy was incredibly effective for me.
Chris has a unique ability to connect with you on a personal level while maintaining a professional and insightful demeanor. He created a comfortable and trusting environment where I felt safe to openly discuss my challenges. His guidance was always practical and actionable, helping me develop coping mechanisms and strategies that genuinely improved my well-being. I particularly valued his ability to listen intently and offer perspectives that I hadn't considered, which was crucial for my progress.
I was genuinely disappointed to learn that Chris is no longer working at Relevance. His departure is a significant loss for the facility, as his expertise and compassionate approach are truly exceptional. For anyone seeking a clinician who is not only highly skilled but also deeply committed to their patients' success, Chris Vallecillo is, in my experience, outstanding. my experience at relevance was great and thoroughly helped me in my mental health journey. the community of people that is built here helps you grow so much as a person and the clinicians/staff are incredible. All of the clinicians are so knowledgeable and helpful in managing anything you’re going through and it’s a beautiful environment to learn new skills to regulate your emotions and thoughts. I can to Relevance feeling discouraged and hopeless. Throughout my time here I’ve learned a lot about my self and my ability to overcome. I am so grateful for Relevance! I am actually in a good place in my life. When I first got here I did not think I could be happy but I am. The staff is great. They truly care about me and my success. I would definitely recommend this program to someone struggling with mental health or addiction.

This was the best decision I could have ever made for myself and the best place to have had it. The care I received while going through detox was absolutely incredible. This facility has onsite medical professionals 24/7 to help assist you with whatever needs your facing. The staff are all great people and the director Mike is such a good person. If you’re ready to have a fresh start and get you back then this is the place to go.

College Recovery's long term model, and slow integration back into society are what make it stand out from other treatment centers. They don't through throw you out to the street after 30 days like many treatment centers, they will carry you until you learn to carry yourself.

People were amazing, food was DELICIOUS, and my foundation for recovery was built correctly. Great place to get the help you need.
Of course every place has their flaws, however I've never met a staff that truly cared so much for the patients. This isn't a job to them its a way of life. From the techs, to clincial staff, therapist and the higher ups. Nothing during my time there fell on deaf ears. Id advise anyone coming to treatment there to swallow your pride and be open and listen. A brief background of myself, im very opinionated and strong willed so of course I knew everything or at least I thought I did. The staff here really did everything they could to reassure me over and over that I can get better. I just needed to get out of my own way. They were 100% correct. The techs always made me feel like this wasn't a house it was my home. People like Andy, Melanie, Leigh Ann, Amethyst, Jose, Stan and of course my OG Allison have always shown me that mine and my fellow housemates best interest was always top priority. Their stories and generosity is truly inspiring. I never felt judged or unwelcome They really care about each and everyone of us. They may be on the ground floor regarding job titles but they definitely are the foundation that keeps this facitly standing. The clinical staff such as Max, Morgan, Curtis, Michelle, MK, their doors are always open when needed. Whether they're running groups or plugging away in their offices they are always willing to stop and listen in the time of need. They too along with the techs are going to be your biggest cheerleaders towards a better life a sober life. While you will notice vast differences in some of their approaches PLEASE keep your ears open because they all reached me in different ways even though I didn't see the value they offered right away. Collectively, its a excellent group to learn from. While my time with Alex a therapist was limited it was very insightful and gave me a different way to see things that definitely resignated with me. As for my personal therapist Jackie, she was amazing. Her door was always open whether it was to pop in an say hi when I needed to vent or just shoot the breeze. Our sessions together allowed me to open up to a point I never had before. Even during her groups she may come off fun and playful, but there is a method to everything. Last but certainly not least, listen to your peers in those rooms. They come from all different backgrounds, gender, race age etc. They offer true wisdom and real life experiences. I personally never met a sober addict that didn't light up a room. These people will teach you more than you could imagine if youre willing to listen and do the work. Ill leave you with this, all of the above comes from someone who has been to 2 detox, 3 other rehabs, never lasting more than 6 total days. Banyan and their staff and clients made me feel at home while I battled through and not for a second did I ever feel alone while I was there. My goal now is to get my life back and whether it happens or not is upto me and me alone but Banyan gave me the tools I need to have a fighting chance, so thank you.

High Focus came into my life at the right time. I was really hurting and dealing with major depression due to some tough life circumstances. High Focus gave me my life back. Their staff was so welcoming and kind. My clinician Taylor was so incredibly helpful and challenged me in all the right ways to get the growth I needed out of the programs. The groups were educational, foundational, and very easy to understand. I leaned so much in my time there. I couldn't recommend High Focus enough to anyone struggling. If you put in the work, High Focus can work for you! :)

I just want to say that if you have any trauma, anxiety, depression or addiction issues please do yourself the favor and look into high focus for the mental health your seeking they are all amazing and the clients are all supportive and make you feel like your not alone... High Focus has been pivotal to my success in understanding, as well as coping with my mental health. I have gone through the program twice in 5 years and this time around was fantastic. Kellie my clinician was excellent, she was compassionate, understanding, and really pushed me when I desperately needed to be pushed. All the clinicians who ran the groups were fantastic, Karyn, Ashley, Taylor, Kellie, Kendall, you all have made such positive impacts on my life. I can’t recommend high focus enough to those out there who are struggling mentally. I’ve been through Princeton house prior, and High Focus is far and away the best program around.

The positive impact on my life and recovery has been a HUGE BLESSING on my life and recovery.I have been at the facility now 30 days, I talked to my counselor Jess about long term stay because I feel that is what I need, she was right on top of it and got me approved. SO GREATFUL!! Also have been in the re-entry program with Alaina, who runs the group. I had the most eye opening experience at an outside AA meeting. For the 1st time ever, I raised my hand and shared at the meeting!! I cant tell you how super greatful I am to her for giving me that opportunity. It helped me to realize it really isn't that scary at all, to share at a meeting even being the new guy there. So thank you all so much for ALL THE POSITIVE EXPERIENCES!!

I have worked with Discocery institute for years. I personally referred a dear friend recently and from their outreach team, to their clinical team to their nursing staff, everyone was so compassionate and helpful. Every experience I have ever had with them I left feeling so supported. If you are thinking of going to Discocery or looking into it for someone you love look no further.

I am a volunteer with a nonprofit sober living. A lot of our residents have been to Discovery Institute and maintained sobriety. A common thing I hear them say about Discovery is how cared for they felt. They were treated like humans. Highly recommend.

By far the best place around. If your serious about your recovery, this is the place. It’s not just all about the medication, it’s about the staff as well. My counselor, Sharece T saved my life. She goes above and beyond the call of duty and treats people as an individual, not a group, because we’re all different. She really took the time to get to know me and get to the root of the problem and checks up regularly to see if everything’s going well. I’ve been to many places, doctors, meetings and rehabs. No one has ever understood me better, witch is very important in recovery so you can be treated accordingly. I finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. I’m extremely grateful and blessed for my counselor Sharece. A huge thanks to this organization and most importantly, my counselor.

SHOUT OUT to the staff here..I have been to many many rehabs, and there is something different about these people, and this place..they are in my opinion, Earth Angels. No judgement, they really just want to help and are good humans! Also, the way they go about treatment, I felt really cared about , from the 1st day. I need a higher level of treatment but I will be going to Outpatient there after..
I can't recommend this place enough. They have no hard chairs that your ass goes numb from sitting in for hours, they have leather, lazy boy chairs, in the entire place, they have a quite room where you can rest if you are detoxing or dont feel good, they feed you great food, they have snacks and sodas and I was literally told "think of this place as your home away from home" and from the clinical staff, the nursing staff, the Dr., they're all special people. xoxoxoxo

My man did well but he was stalked by a mentally unstable alcoholic female. This is edited I'm. She was ill and suffering from substance use disorder. He did not fear her but tried to help her be safe, dual diagnosis,she did not enter facility.

I have been going to Stress Care for a long time and they have helped me tremendously! My therapist is the best, she listens to my concerns, teaches me how to cope, gives me "key" words when I need them (to help with my depression and anxiety) and never ever puts me down for what I say. I find her very easy to confide in, sometimes I talk so much but she is very patient and listens until I finish. My doctor is also great! He also listens attentively, always asks how I am doing, any problems and I can ask him anything without being embarrassed. The receptionist always calls beforehand to remind me and confirm my appointments. Overall, this is a great place if you are serious about getting some mental help!

I came to Stress Care after the loss of my baby boy at 25 weeks pregnant. Nicole has helped me tremendously with my depression and anxiety. The book she suggested me to read is an easy read and is very insightful in coping and dealing with my terrible loss.
Today I would like to spend a little time complementing your professionalism and your great care. I was discharged yesterday and fell well taken care of in tower 4 room 50. No problem was to big for your nurses and staff. The smile and honesty made me feel externally secure. The instruction were very thorough and understanding. The nursing director always avaliable to answer any questions. Keep up the great work. Thank Robert Wood Johnson hospital.

Was brought in via EMS, admitted for 2 nights and 3 days in the adolescent unit. The hospital staff are incredible, caring and always smiling at all hours. The night neuro team came in while I was having an episode, instead of just making sure I was medically stable they held my hand and reassured me that they were right next to me and I'd be ok- all at 3 in the morning! Shout out to Nurses Kim, Sam, Heather; all the rest of the nurses in Adolescents; Doctor Sarah Yavelberg and the Peds team; and Art Therapist Christiana and Child Life Specialist Jasdeep 🩷🩷! I definitely felt safe, taken care of, listened to, validated and understood during my hospitalization.
Additionally, the place is very clean, aesthetically appealing, and well-designed. There was a bed with a separate curtain, light and tv for parent to stay overnight. Meals can be ordered from an extensive menu and are delivered to rooms. They changed sheets as often as requested, even multiple times a day.
People ask why I insist on traveling the hour distance to New Brunswick for emergencies, and this is why! If there was an option to give more than five stars, RWJ New Brunswick would definitely get it!

My son talks to a therapist here. Its online due to covid but his therapist is great. Im now about to call and get my daughter services. Covid has mentally strained our kids
My son was struggling with anxiety and his mental health and a friend of his referred him to High Focus. I am so glad that he went there and was able to get the help that he needed. He has completed the program and is in a much better place. I am grateful for everyone there who was an excellent source of support for him.

I can honestly and sincerely say that the intensive outpatient program at High Focus legitimately changed my life.
The science-backed, evidence-based multi-faceted program has provided me with the tools & strategies I need in my day to day life to handle intense emotions as well as process trauma in healthy and adaptive ways through anger management, emotional regulation, DBT, CBT, grounding & mindfulness techniques.
Almost every day I find myself utilizing at least one of the techniques that I was taught at High Focus, whether that is Opposite Action, distress tolerance, STOP, boxed breathing, TIPP, HALT, cope ahead statements, etc. etc.
I have truly grown, changed, improved and bettered myself as a person. The anger, outbursts, explosions, toxicity and inability to properly regulate my emotions have been replaced by properly applying the core principles if what I learned in IOP.
Its not about never making mistakes. Its not about there never being steps backwards. Its about learning from the mistakes, not making the same ones and always talking the steps forward.
I am able to do that now thanks to everything I learned at High Focus and I want to sincerely thank all of the staff there for helping me to do that.
For anyone reading this, please know that it is 1000% possible for you to change your life TODAY. YOU have that power and YOU have that capability. Do not listen to what anyone else has to say -- YOU have the ability to CHANGE as a person. You just have to apply yourself. It's that simple and it's that hard.
If you're considering High Focus, I highly encourage you to make that change today. It honestly changed my life.

High Focus saved my life. When I first walked in, I was struggling with depression, anxiety, panic attacks, guilt, shame, relationship issues, unhealthy coping strategies, trauma, battling with thoughts of giving up and abandonment – honestly, the list goes on. I felt completely lost and was stuck living in survival mode. But with the help of the caring and supportive staff, I was able to uncover strengths I didn’t even know I had, and rediscover the confident, beautiful person beneath all the pain. If you’re feeling lost or unsure where to turn, walking through those doors could change your life. The program works, but you get out of it what you’re willing to put in. Let it work for you. I miss all the staff and amazing friends I’ve met during my journey.

Pro act is a pretty amazing place with great people. They have resources for you to succeed. Can’t do all the work for you, but if you have the willingness to want to change your life, this is a great place. Volunteer opportunities this is a great start and it’s really good to get back to people who are trying to change their lives.
Some of the things I learned here were life skills and how to cope with life's ups & downs. I was able to bond with staff and the rest of the residents, they became my second family. You can really feel the presence of God in this place

My wife and I used to teach at Good News Home. I have nothing but good to say about this organization. They show the love of God. Yes there are strict rules but the patients that go there must learn boundaries, what they can do and can't do. By doing good, you will learn to receive the Love of God and the Word.

I must start the review with giving honor to God, for God ordered my steps here to Good News Home for Woman, here I found a reconnect with God. In the program you find out a lot about yourself and the traumas that caused you to make some horrible choices. You also find out ways to deal with real life issues. I've been dealing with something from a DUI from 2012. I lost my job. I had to move. I cannot get anybody to help me and I've been sober now for many years. I haven't drank in many many years and for almost 7 months my license has been suspended. After it was reinstated from 2012, I renewed it four times. This is the fifth time I went to renew it. Mind you, I live in New Jersey. This happened in Pennsylvania and they were saying that they don't have all my paperwork. My old lawyer wouldn't even help me out. They said they have more important things to do. I paid some other company 300 bucks. I've spent hours and hours and hours trying to get this resolved. Titling companies bucks county courthouse Doylestown courthouse Court of clerks I got nowhere absolutely nowhere except frustration and anger again. I was making sometimes three phone calls a day trying to get through to PennDOT and always getting a different answer. They wanted stuff from 2012. You don't even have to keep medical or tax records for that long so to speak.
The one place over in Pennsylvania said I would have to go back and do IOP and they wanted a 5-month update on how I was doing. I've graduated IOP and I've been sober ever since
Unfortunately, I did not find out about this place till about a month ago. Unfortunately I moved from Jersey to Michigan so it's been a little bit of a pain
I was dealing with one of the other places regarding DUIs common law places in Pennsylvania that the court basically works with, but absolutely one of the worst experience in my life.
But again it wasn't till almost the 7th month of dealing with this that I was told I could go and try to deal with another facility
However, livinggren has been beyond helpful beyond sympathetic to my situation. They are absolutely trying to help me.
HELEN and JAMIE, are absolutely amazing! Everyone that I've spoken to there has been absolutely amazing, but these two women in particular that have been trying to help me are just absolutely god sense. So I'm sure that everyone else at that facility is just absolutely amazing as well. I only wish I found this place when I needed help with my substance abuse but better late than never they say!!
One of the best outpatient centers in NJ. The environment is very welcoming, clean, and well organized. The staff are friendly and helpful in all aspects. Would 100% recommend this place to anyone whose considering it.
