Truly an amazing program with great staff. If you need help, they will give you the resources you need and bend over backwards to help you. Being LGBTQ+, our community faces a number of hardships that can really make sobriety a challenge. Recovery Centers of America understands this and many other special situations and accommodates accordingly. They truly are great people. My grandfather is there at the long term care home facility nothing but great care and service there for him there so far he’s been there since September

I have been receiving medical treatment at Lyons and East Orange for over 12 years.. and have interacted with many medical professionals and staff.. in any large hospital setting, you will encounter dedicated people and sometimes, some that are just not smart enough to gargle. I recently had shoulder surgery and I rate it 5 stars 110%. Drs, nurses, staff were outstanding and the scheduling was perfect. God Bless all those who take care of us veterans at both hospitals.

I called up there about my dad and I was transferred to a Nursing supervisor by the name of Gwen Martin. Ms. Martin was so professional and she answered all my questions. She took it upon herself to go checkup on my dad. She reassured me that my dad would be taken care of and she even called me back to make sure that all my concerns were addressed.

Overall a great clinical program. The sober living that is linked is clean and up to date. Very helpful program. Plenty of resources to help me recover.

Relevance Treatment Center was a necessary step in my recovery to secure sobriety and live a life worth living. Their PHP, IOP programs helped me to regain tools and skills to support my mental & physical health. I have been struggling very much and when I arrived, I was met with the upmost respect, care, support and kindness. It is a comfortable & safe environment for those struggling with mental health issues, substance addictions, etc. and it is all owed to the loving staff. In their own respective manners, the amazingly sweet receptionist LeaAnn made the environment feel warm and friendly from the very beginning, she always said good morning and how is your day, truly caring about how you felt and being honest, it was hard for her not to make your day better. The technician and maintenance team involving the hilarious and comforting Joe & Rob would always find a solution to any of our needs and make us priority #1, yet would always have some time to talk and joke around with us during our groups in between groups. They are tremendous and I thank them for making rough days better. Words cannot describe the level of care and effort put by the clinical team, but Chelsea, Gracie, Henry, Monika, Josh, Julie & Victoria (Both case managers who helped individual clients with housing, financial, income, etc.) were monumental in my recovery and ability to cope with my issues in life. I am grateful for the work they do and their passion behind every intent. I felt validated everyday and I cannot thank them enough. The medical team including Dr. Paul Gazzara, nurse practitioner Latifah Oparison & Nurse Patty were incredibly helpful and understanding in the medications that were necessary for me in my beginning stages of recovery. Everyone in the admissions team including John, Gina, Dan & Tabitha made the initial steps very easy to grasp and helped throughout the way. They helped majorly ease any financial burden. Clinical directors Jess & Melanie deal with a lot of work and not often did I see them, yet they always made time for anyone to come and talk about any issues or just to have a conversation with them. They are incredibly kind and amazing at their field of work, they care and I am very grateful. Would definitely recommend for those who have or are currently with mental health/substance abuse. In my experience of rehab centers, detox, sober living, this has been one of the greatest.

Despite after reading some negative reviews, both my daughter, Elizabeth, and I cannot say enough about Relavance ! From the first phone call I received from Gina, & completing my intake with Leah Ryan, on 2/10/25, both my daughter, and I knew, this was the solution for me to get better.❤️‍🩹 From day one, everyone in this facility made me feel welcomed, important, and not to mention , safe enough to open up, share my heartaches, without being judge or embarrassed. I have learned so much about myself, and for the first time, in a very long time, not only am I “Worthy,” but I am “Important,” and I don’t need a supplement of any kind to achieve this. When people say, “First impressions mean the most,” what I experienced on my first day. It made all the difference to my world. I'm writing this review to express my sincere appreciation for Chris Vallecillo, a clinician who truly made a difference in my treatment at Relevance. I worked with Chris for a significant period, and his approach to therapy was incredibly effective for me. Chris has a unique ability to connect with you on a personal level while maintaining a professional and insightful demeanor. He created a comfortable and trusting environment where I felt safe to openly discuss my challenges. His guidance was always practical and actionable, helping me develop coping mechanisms and strategies that genuinely improved my well-being. I particularly valued his ability to listen intently and offer perspectives that I hadn't considered, which was crucial for my progress. I was genuinely disappointed to learn that Chris is no longer working at Relevance. His departure is a significant loss for the facility, as his expertise and compassionate approach are truly exceptional. For anyone seeking a clinician who is not only highly skilled but also deeply committed to their patients' success, Chris Vallecillo is, in my experience, outstanding. Soba saved my life. Through the detox into residential, staff was attentive and showed they cared about us clients and even at the higher level Mike C. made sure we were all taken care of and even went out of his way to set up snack/movie nights and ordered take out once a week which was always good. Anyone looking for a rehabilitation center should check out Soba in New Brunswick. Ill be back to flaunt my sobriety for alumni nights!

Counselor Danielle is extremely competent and is the personification of integrity. Banyan's counselors are progressive, humane, and highly skilled. The psychiatric nurse ("Judy in the sky"), is exceptional. Kudos all the way around and "hats off" to BANYAN management for such superb personnel selections! No one comes close to knowing all there is to know in the realms of the human heart, mind, and/or collective soul. However, it is easy for this (once) PHRP Certified Researcher to realize that our counselors' attempts to help us are being made with compassion and care. We are beyond grateful for the incredible care and support our son received at High Focus in Freehold—especially from Tim and Nurse Practitioner Natalie. Tim has been nothing short of amazing. From the start, he connected with our teen in a way that was both compassionate and effective. He created a safe, trusting space that allowed our son to begin working through his anxiety and emotional struggles. Week by week, we saw real growth—not just in how our son managed tough emotions, but in how he began to view himself and the world around him. What truly stood out was how available and supportive Tim has been—not just for our son, but for us as parents. He was always willing to take the time to talk, listen, and guide us through how best to support our child at home. His dedication and empathy made such a difference for our entire family. We’re also incredibly thankful for Natalie, the nurse practitioner who worked one-on-one with our son and gave him so much thoughtful, personalized attention. One of the best outpatient centers in NJ. The environment is very welcoming, clean, and well organized. The staff are friendly and helpful in all aspects. Would 100% recommend this place to anyone whose considering it.

Good Afternoon, I was a Discovery Institute in 2022 and enjoyed the services that they have provided to me and the staff tremendous on point In helping those who wanted to be helped and that alone I appuled the staff who has reached me in so many ways and as of today I have 3yrs of my sobriety and it feels wonderful keeping what was I told stay sober one day at a time. And To God Be The Glory!! 🙏

Discovery's expert care started me on my current five months of sobriety.

Ive been to multiple rehabs and have never completed, always left AMA, pyramid was the first rehab i have ever been able to complete. I love it there. The staff is amazing. It is a facilty that allows you to smoke. Alaina is the Life Skills specialist - she always has the girls' back. Listens to you and tries (and pretty much always succeeds) to get things done for you. She took us to the park multiple times, movie night (she got us all popcorn and soda and even used her own hot spot and her bf's Amazon Prime account so we could watch the movie lol), took us to outside meetings, etc. Miss Louise has been there for years, she is like the house Mom... Paris and Dave are also awesome ...Christina and Sam (supervisors) are awesome...there are so many staff members who genuiniely care about you, I could go on and on. Hands down , best rehab I have ever been to. I hope I never need to go back but if I did I would not go anywhere else. It is worth the wait if you have to wait for a bed. The animals and scenery are beautiful.

Pyramid is a life saver..literally! They have always been there for me whenever I needed the help. I’m not too proud to say it, but it’s been more than once…4xs…and each time they welcomed me back with open arms. All the staff have been so supportive, respectful, and always lend an ear to listen whenever I was struggling, or just needed to vent. This place feels more like a home to me than my home has lately. Rehab can be depressing and hard, but they do all they can to try and make you feel comfortable, loved, and safe. I wanna shout out Alaina, the life skills specialist; John, the counselor (was my counselor 3 out of the 4xs); Ms. Louise, the BHT, Ashley H, BHT; Tina, front desk receptionist; Nadine, the clinical director; Mrs. Kelly, the director; Dylan, case manager; Toby, case manager; and Carl, the kitchen manager.

I’m at the Pyramid in Langhorne and being in one house with 14 woman in recovery isn’t the easiest at times but Alaina, the recovery specialist, has made our time so much better. Taking us to Tyler state park for a “hike” when we needed it most, made sure we got the fishing poles from the boys and time to fish the following week, she genuinely cared to listen when expressed our self and then put action behind it. She’s amazing.

Amazing place really made a difference in my life.I’ve been here since February recently turned 20 in August and it’s just a great place all around they actually care about you and want you to truly do good ,it’s a blessing to have other people who are there for u mentally and care for you and your recovery process!

By far the best place around. If your serious about your recovery, this is the place. It’s not just all about the medication, it’s about the staff as well. My counselor, Sharece T saved my life. She goes above and beyond the call of duty and treats people as an individual, not a group, because we’re all different. She really took the time to get to know me and get to the root of the problem and checks up regularly to see if everything’s going well. I’ve been to many places, doctors, meetings and rehabs. No one has ever understood me better, witch is very important in recovery so you can be treated accordingly. I finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. I’m extremely grateful and blessed for my counselor Sharece. A huge thanks to this organization and most importantly, my counselor.

My son droped me here after years of strugglin... Now look at me. One year clean. God bless them folks at the recovery cnt. They care like family.

SHOUT OUT to the staff here..I have been to many many rehabs, and there is something different about these people, and this place..they are in my opinion, Earth Angels. No judgement, they really just want to help and are good humans! Also, the way they go about treatment, I felt really cared about , from the 1st day. I need a higher level of treatment but I will be going to Outpatient there after.. I can't recommend this place enough. They have no hard chairs that your ass goes numb from sitting in for hours, they have leather, lazy boy chairs, in the entire place, they have a quite room where you can rest if you are detoxing or dont feel good, they feed you great food, they have snacks and sodas and I was literally told "think of this place as your home away from home" and from the clinical staff, the nursing staff, the Dr., they're all special people. xoxoxoxo

This is a great place the clinical staff was very knowledgeable, warm and friendly, well trained. It was a great experience and I learned a lot. Special shoutout to my personal clinician Isabel M. Mora, for her keen insight and easy flow style in getting me to open up and express my thoughts, feelings and emotions. I’ve never opened up to anyone like that before. I have been coming to Stress Care for several years now and at first it was a little rocky but about six months ago I was assigned to Christina. I cannot recommend Christina highly enough. She is an incredibly compassionate, skilled, and insightful therapist who creates a safe and supportive space for real growth and healing. From the very first session, I felt truly heard and understood. Christina has a unique ability to ask the right questions, offer meaningful perspectives, and guide me toward clarity in ways that feel empowering rather than overwhelming. Her warmth, professionalism, and genuine care shine through in every interaction. I’ve noticed so many positive changes in my life thanks to her guidance, and I feel more confident, grounded, and hopeful than I have in years. If you are looking for a therapist who is both deeply empathetic and highly effective, Christina is truly exceptional. I leave every session feeling a million times better. She truly tells me what I need to hear instead of what I want to hear, which is something I have never been able to receive through many therapists in the past. I have since loved going to Stress Care and look forward to going to my sessions, instead of feeling like it was a chore.

Such a sweetheart helped me with my forms for 45 minutes straight and did not leave my side until they were complete. Definitely knows his way around the office.
