My name is Lucio Torcivia. I am a client at Morris County aftercare. I just wanna say this is the best clinic that has helped me so much. My counselor Regina is the best. She’s always there and ready to help me in any situation all the counselors one specifically Betsy, who’s been there for very long time she’s always at the middle window with a smile on her face to greet me or anybody in that case And the head nurse I forgot his name. He’s a great man too. Everybody, everybody in that clinic will always open their arms to help you trust me. I’ve been there for almost 8 years now and I wouldn’t wanna go anywhere else and thank God I’m starting to do good in life. It took a while, but nobody ever gave up on me especially Regina. She never gave up on me and now I’m finally I can say that I’m clean one day at a time I would like to thank everyone at Morris County after care for the smiles the warm welcomes and all the help that I’ve needed through my course in life. I’ve never have been in a clinic better than Morris County aftercare in Denville. They are aces in my book. Seriously the best clinic ever! I recently switched due to moving and it’s the biggest regret I’ve had yet in my 8 years of sobriety. I had no idea how lucky I was going to MCAC. They truly love you and treat you with respect. I’d give anything to go back here over where I’m at now. Complete 180. I went from the best clinic to the worst and regret it. If you don’t have to leave here, don’t do it. If you’re looking to get clean, go here! I promise. If you’re willing to do the work, this place WILL help! I have 8 years of sobriety thanks to them. The staff at MCAC is exceptional. From the intake process to the regular meetings with counselors, everyone is incredibly supportive and knowledgeable. The clinic’s counselors truly listen and work with patients to create individualized treatment plans. They are always available for guidance, and genuinely care about their patients progress. The nurses and medical staff ensure that dosing is properly managed, safely administered and adequate to sustain recovery. The medical staff is thorough and they check- in to monitor health and progress. The facility is state of the art, clean and inviting and leadership is invested in ensuring that all patients receive quality care in line with the mission.

I called for HR 3 times and the receptionist hung up on me 3 times- time to find a new receptionist!!!!!!!

I been a client since 2022 and I would like to leave a 5 review to my counselor Mr RahJohn Rouse . He has been my counselor for almost a year and what a great guy he is. Very easy to talk to and a guy who really cares about his clients recovery and would go the extra step to make you feel comfortable. I would also like to leave another 5 star review to the staff member who whe front window Mr Sadiq Rouses he is very pleasant person and a great guy to talk to he makes the morning very easy since he knows ever client by name he will never have to ask for your number he knows ever one by face and have you checked in and tell you what you need to do before you go to the window.. It's been a year later and MR Rouse is still the man if you come here try and request him if you can. He is a amazing counselor and person

I REALLY appreciate the kindness and compassion that literally greets you at the door... I've only been on the program for a couple of months and I haven't met any staff member or supportive staff member(i.e. nursing, admissions) that have not been respectful and helpful... Ms. Smith is so-oo down to earth and knowledgeable, she makes it easy to identify and address my issues...I'm so glad that I chose Lennard as the foundation for my recovery... I am feeling like I'm gonna be a success... So if, like myself, your issues got issues, come to Lennard, open up to one of their awesome counselors,(like Ms. Smith and/or Rajahn) find yourself, and reach for the stars🌠...

I went to this facility for a planned same-day surgery. The facility is very clean and modern appearing. The staff were all very kind and knowledgeable. I was rather anxious leading up to the procedure and the nurses were excellent with thoroughly explaining what to expect. This, coupled with excellent bedside manner helped to calm my nerves. This was my first time at this facility but based on my experience, I would highly recommend!

We unfortunately, had to take my daughter into the emergency room Saturday night to get stitches put in. She is only three years old.Leah and The team of nurses were excellent they took care of my daughter, and they supported me as a parent. The best decision was to take her there and I am so grateful my daughter is recovering amazingly. They did everything right. I am beyond grateful for them.

I went in for an outpatient procedure on 10/27 and the staff was very kind and accommodating. PreOP RN Tori C made that moment in time less intimidating and provides all the care and comfort I needed.

Greater Essex has a great staff that doesn't turn their back on you or condemn you for your mistakes. Its the only place that helped me be willing to get sober. Combined with the reading the bible, I feel like all these things changed my life.

I was admitted to the emergency room Tuesday afternoon. I was hospitalized that night. I underwent gallbladder surgery on Wednesday afternoon. I was discharged Thursday afternoon. All my nurses were nice. All the doctors I spoke to were nice. My food tasted fine. The housekeeper cleaned the room. They forgot to write down the diagnostic code for my prescription and we were forced to come back, but they gave us the code and a number so we could reach them if there was an issue. I liked this place. I'd come back.

Absolutely amazing hospital. My wife was in excellent hands even though our baby was premature, the staff made us feel so at ease. Huge thank you to Dr Peace.

I visited the hospital for my yearly mammogram that went well over all I will plan on doing it again next year. There was a minor issue with my insurance but it was quickly fixed.

I recently had the pleasure of interfacing with Ashley, a case manager at Summit Oaks Hospital and her counterpart Claire. From time to time as a psychotherapist, my clients need in-patient/crisis care, and I have to collaborate with staff at local facilities. In my experience it is extremely rare to find such a caring, competent social worker as Ashley in these cases. She was a compassionate and determined advocate for the patient and showed great diligence in keeping me updated and "in the loop." Ashley and Claire make a strong team, and I could rest easy knowing our mutual patient was in good hands and was not going to "fall through the cracks." Sadly, this is often not the case and in writing this review, I feel that Ashley and Claire at Summit Oaks deserve both my gratitude as well as recognition for their excellence!

I went to this mental hospital at April first ! It’s very good , staff cares about u , friends in there . I made a lot of friends and they support you! , they are really kind and care about your health but they are strict rules that I don’t understand , like I get it . Hugging + touching isn’t allowed which I am a really touchy friend and I love being hugged at and this mental hospital is great again ! I made a few friends in here even though the rules said that you’re here to be better , not to make friends .. but it’s still great!! , this hospital helped me a lot through my hard rough times at my own thoughts !! :3 i would give it as a 4★ because it’s great experience , have fun in there , make new friends , listen to the rules in the mental hospital . It can be scary first but I’ve been there , but one of the staffs were really rude to this guy that was friends with forest (preferred name I think) and they told him to shut up while he was singing in the shower .. that’s one problem I had with this hospital .. but it’s still a great mental hospital , it’s just one of the staffs need to improve their behavior more.. But here is the actual story I had and experience I got pulled out of a stretcher and some girl (an adult) took a photo of me signing I was here for help . My parents had to sign a signature for me to stay here untill I got better , I had to wait a full Hour to order to get asked by questions , I had to answer 29 QUESTIONS such as suicide , self harm , etc , or did I get graped . Later I had a lot of friends complementing me about my hair and looking cute , I smiled and appreciate it. But the rules were “You’re here to get better not make friends , no touching “ blah blah wtver some stuff , then we have rooms . The staff would tell us to go back to our rooms if we got out , we either just hang out or take a shower. We get snacks at the room time when we get hungry . We also have orders and have koolaid drinks , the meals are awesome and the drink . We have to drink koolaid 24/7 in the mental hospital . Some of the teachers of there are wonderful ( yes we have classes in the mental hospitals and teachers can send us homework + work in the mental hospital ) people are rlly nice and friendly and all of that stuff and I got used to it being here and I just had to recover from my suicidal thoughts from my bullying (it’s back in 5th grade) and my mom emailed I was in the mental hospital when I was out ) blades , something sharp to cut your self , they will take it away from you , including hairbrush , my hairbrush took away because it had a rope in the end?? It was very small and it didn’t made sense because that rope was small , I had to borrow the mental hospitals brush in order to brush my hair ?? , it sucked because I wouldn’t have my OWN brush to brush my hair , it completely sucked , I enjoyed with my friend as my roommate , I had forest as my friend and the other girl as my roommate , she was really kind and she had a weird thing for bananas but I really didn’t care much because anyone can be what they want to be ..

Summit Oaks is a wonderful place. Staff is awesome, professional, knowledgeable and extremely caring. The facility goes above and beyond to ensure patients receive the best care. As a professional I will continue to refer my patients to this facility.

I was referred to Dr. David J. Berler , MD by my gastroenterologist after many years of treatment for gastrointestinal issues. A HIDA scan 4 years prior showed a borderline function of my gallbladder but no stones. A second HIDA scan this October showed my gallbladder was barely functioning although no stones were visible. I met with Dr. Berler and his excellent team to set up an appointment for removal of my gallbladder with the hope that it would relieve some of my symptoms. Dr. Berler was very clear that removal of my gallbladder was not a guarantee that all my symptoms would go away because of my unusual symptoms , but we could eliminate that issue. I felt very comfortable making that decision because every single issue was addressed and I felt very confident with his opinion. Dr. Berler has a compassionate and reassuring manner, he listens and makes sure he understands what the patient is saying. His staff is beyond helpful as well and made sure I felt comfortable and understood everything that was discussed. About two weeks ago my surgery was completed and I saw him again yesterday for a follow up . Once again he reassured me that my healing was progressing as expected and I updated him on my wellbeing and positive changes I’ve noticed. The day of surgery was made less stressful because the entire staff was beyond professional, they were supportive and kind and we even laughed. The nurse who stayed with me till I was discharged ( wish I could remember her name) was excellent and we even hugged as I left the room. Anesthesia interferes with memory and details , but what remains is a feeling of having been taken care of with respect and kindness. My husband who is a retired physician and was by my side the entire time, was very impressed with the care I received . We are still trying to understand how the hospital has trained EVERY employee to be so informed and incredibly kind to the patients who come in stressed. At my follow up yesterday we were even escorted by a woman who saw we were trying to understand the instructions to the doctor’s office. From the reception area of the hospital to his office every single person is excellent at their jobs. Whatever training they are receiving is beyond professional and we highly recommend the hospital for the care and expertise we received. Dr. David Berler will be our family’s surgeon if we ever need one and St. Barnabas our preferred hospital.

My experience with this hospital was extremely unprofessional and upsetting from start to finish. Every person I spoke to over the phone was rude, dismissive, and showed absolutely no willingness to help me. I was desperately trying to locate my loved one, and instead of assisting me, they kept transferring me over and over again to different departments as if no one wanted to take responsibility. When I finally reached the correct unit, I was told that my loved one wasn’t even there anymore. I panicked and called back, and the woman on the phone spoke to me with a rude, condescending tone, telling me to “calm down she’s here,” as if my concerns were an inconvenience. When I asked for the update I had been promised by the doctor I spoke with in person earlier, she provided no helpful information at all. I called again to speak with someone in charge, and another woman immediately cut me off, spoke abruptly, and refused to let me finish my sentence. She already knew who I was calling about and said, “Yeah, she’s in the unit upstairs,” followed by a rude, “What else can I help you with?” as if I was bothering her. The lack of empathy and compassion was unbelievable. My friend was having a severe episode, and instead of caring for her, the staff treated her like she was a burden. They told her she “wasn’t listening” and “was wasting their time,” and they even talked about her right in front of her, saying they had other patients to deal with. This is the worst hospital experience I’ve ever witnessed. The staff’s behavior was unprofessional, insensitive, and completely unacceptable. I will never return here, and I truly hope this facility reevaluates the way they treat patients and their families.

I started IOP at NewLife back in January & just recently graduated this month. The positive impact it had & made on me .. I honestly don’t think I could’ve done it without my counselor Sam & the owner Bert! From the rip they made me feel super comfortable & not judged. As soon as you walk in they’re nothing but super helpful & supportive. It’s an awesome/wonderful environment & very welcoming with skilled staff. When I started I recently just had given birth & I was super nervous thinking it would be impossible to make it to groups 3 times a week but they gave me the option of doing it through ZOOM which not many places do, right there that was like a huge weight lifted off my shoulders. My counselor Sam created a truly supportive and safe place that helped me focus on my recovery and help make positive changes for me in my life. Highly recommend!!!

I had the best experience here. my counselor Samantha truly cares so much for her patients and was always available whenever I needed to talk to her. and these are not just words, she truly truly cares for each and everyone of her patients. The group meetings were extremely helpful. No session was ever the same. This place truly turned my life around and I highly recommend anyone looking to check this place out. Integrity House was very challenging and very rewarding. I was forced to face a lot of childish behavior I had been holding on to and actually work to change it. My sense of intitalment, my selfishness and to many more to list honestly. The staff there is great, always professional and compassionate. I'd really like to give a special shout out to my counselor Andres Ortega. He helped me replace so many bad traits through the application of spiritual principles. My gratitude, patience, forgiveness and understanding are at levels I never thought they could be and Andres was a huge part of that transformation. I've accepted that life isn't all roses, and that's ok. It's helped me focus on what's good and be in control of my feelings. Andres really challenged me to take a look at the role I played and play in my family and my relationship with my daughter and mother has been so much better as a result. I just called spoke with a female not sure of her name but when I asked if I can make an appointment for Mental Health she said they do not do that there. Got my a lil upset bc a lots of people and other agencies had spoke of this place not to highly tho but still it is very close to my home. Know have to hustle another place to go and deal with GREIF Guilt, Shame, Resentment n everyone's favorite Self Forgiveness.

Veronica and Lesly both are great counselors. For years, I’ve had a hard time managing my anger. But Veronica’s women empowerment group has given me a different outlook. I’m not easily angered or triggered as I used to be. I’m able to walk away.

I came here for about about year. The staff has always met me with nothing but positivity and support. Chris was my councilor and even after graduating I still call him to check in and talk because he is truly helpful and cares about his clients. After being through several cookie cutter programs and a mommy and me the was shut down by the state, it’s nice to see a program that actually cares about their clients. They’re willing work with and connect with people as individuals, not just addicts.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff - would recommend!!

First let me start by saying that I never leave reviews but I’m left speechless! my 2 year old has been getting consistent blood work since she was born and we have gone through many phlebotomist that have had to poke her multiple times in order to get a successful blood draw. This has lead to much stress and many tears and trauma. We came in for our routine bloodwork and Francis did an excellent job ! He had such a gentle hand my daughter didn’t even flinch, he was able to get a successful blood draw within the first try (which has never happened with anyone else) I would definitely recommend to ask for him if you have littles in need of blood work.
