I love all the workers and the way they treated me I learned a lot there I love to go down to the lake and water ski thats where I learned I was there in the middle 70s we had to go to school right there at the school I believe we were in the mountains it sure was beautiful

I was there from 1983 until June 1985..upper campus..McLane cottage..I still remember miss t and miss baily..Mr gaston..and kojack..are night guy..by the time I got there I had already been through 20 other places..some ruff joints like industry..monroe county children's center..ect...so birkshire was a walk in the park for me..I still have a couple close friends from there I'm in contact with today..I would like to say being there taught me everything I needed to know to change my life but 2 months after release I was locked up and ready to go to and adult facility..after getting out of that in 1991 I never looked back..I raised 4 successful kids and changed up my whole life..I still think about some of what I learned there and think some of it helped me and were actually good years of my life there..I live in upstate ny..elmira and its like 4 or 5 hours from me or I would be visiting to se e the changes over the years..if anyone reads this I'm mike coats..little man..McLean cottage 83-85 hit me up.

They are very supportive, they are honest with you and want you to recover in an effective way, so they help you find the right center.

This place saved my life .. I don t even know where to start. They welcomed me in with open arms in a judgement free zone, made sure I had everything I needed for food, hygiene, meds, and general support. EVERY SINGLE STAFF member was caring and attentive to my needs from check in to check out. I can t thank and recommend this place enough .. huge specific shout outs to little Kayla, Jim, Rodger, Dave, and I forgot her name but the lady that does the meditation! And from the bottom of my heart thank you all again you are literally life savers !

I needed help, but was scared to go inpatient. This place was just what I needed.

The Clinic has moved to 78 Center St, in the second floor of the CONTE building.

Everyone here always tries to assist me with great respect whenever I have been in need. It is truly appreciated.

This Clinic is outstanding, no problems with anything. Staff and Doctors are great people to work with.

Provides excellent clinical recovery services

Its a good place for recovery. And they have a program called the Red Door. I strong recommend it if you're serious about your recovery

Great counsilers, the downside is you'll be waiting forever to be seen.

I went in 2007 and received the best help I needed but didn't use it.

I am writing this review as a mother to other mothers. My son s journey here has started a change in his life and his way of thinking. He told me constantly the staff, the nurses, counselors, his counselor Bonnie and the Director Linda were amazing. My family is so grateful to them. Their knowledge and kindness s is like no other treatment center.

If you have a negative comment about this program.... You're doing it wrong and/or are not ready.

Dr. Sandra Horn was the only provider that was phenomenal!! She provided therapy for my post partum stage and after. She has moved on to pursue other goals and she is definitely missed!!!

This is a wonderful place to go to. I have been going there for about five years. I have had 2 Drs., but the one I have now is better and more caring. Why I have to see a Dr for an anti-deppresant , I don't know, but they are great. The nurse's are outstanding!! I have never had a problem there. They always address your issues.

Wonderfully helpful. Whenever I have a appointment, I ve never had to wait.

900 Lark Dr. in Albany Whitney Young Dental I was in a lot of pain. I got in fast with an emergency appointment. Everyone there is very nice. Pleasant answered all my questions did not rush me very clean. They were very thorough with my tooth extraction. They took an x-ray after to make sure there is nothing left behind. I will be going back special thanks to Tracy and Liz. They helped me a lot. Thank you so much.

Martin loudin not sure why you fell you got lied to. Its a 6 to 9 month program and im sure nobody told you he would be in for 31 days when its a long term program. I was not in this house i was at hope house bette center. I can tell you first hand its not about the money. I did 16 months and enjoyed the fruits that i got out of the program. These people care.

I love hope hose this was my home and family whoever can graduate this place is truly strong.Noo master why you would find yourself here you will surely come out a better person. Love you all .

I had a great experience with right choice. Candace was a great provider and she cares for her patients. Marisol was great and kind too. I am moving but I will miss the Right choice people and their kindness.

service is good overall but the front doorbell does Not work at all and you have to shake the door to try and get someone to answer it. very frustrating especially if no one can hear you at the front desk. it's been this way for months and the employees just say it won't be fixed. clearly an error on SUNY management's part

Addicts are pretty picky people, understand that when you read reviews. I was here for a year to complete a DWI Court program.I graduated here, and have fond memories. Rehab in general can save your life and make YOU, YOU again. That being said, some counselors are better than others. Some of these counselors party still, so dont be surprised if your counselor is occasionally hungover and whiny and easily irritated by you. Be prepared for textbook diagnosis from 1978 rather than firsthand experience. But all in all, start with art therapy, you wont regret it.Paul, Amelia, Amanda were my favorites.

Evidence based recovery. Where lives are changed. When you have the courage to change yourself, this is the place to be. Or, if you are scared, frightened, confused, and don't know what to do.. Come here. The treatment and support you receive is wonderful . And it doesn't stop. If you haven't been there in a little bit, they will call you. Because they care. About you.They really, really do. I am so PROUD that this place and these people have been a part of my life. The Promises do come true . Don't let your eyes fool you. This is the most BEAUTIFUL building in the whole wide world.

I spent a year in recovery an if your serious about walking another path they will back you sometimes tough love but there passionate about your recovery

If you are truly interested in staying clean and sober, the folks here actually want to help and will take the time to be honest and forthcoming. However, if your just looking for some prescriptions, some suboxen, or are just trying to get yourself out of trouble and aren't really interested in recovery, this probably isn't the place for you.
