I was a resident of Berkshire Farms from August 25th 1995 to August 25th of 1996. I was in pole hahn cottage. I remember Mr Daniels, Mr Pinkston, Matt the overnight guy Dell. We loved out because he used to smoke cigarettes and could never smell if we were smoking because he was so old and always fell asleep in the chair at night. Mr Burke. I remember Lonis he was in a strong man competition or tough man fighting competition or something like that. Remember black guy Mr Evans he was a good friend of Mike Tyson. I remember Vinny from naughty by nature serving us food one day in the chow hall. Lot of memories from that place From there I was shipped to the Schrader house group home in Yaphank on Long Island. It has now been taken over by The game farm.

Berkshire farms was the best Experience I have ever had,even though I was a long way from family,I got into dancing classes and acting in theater there....Not to mention some of the most famous DJs and rappers we all were the together... The best time of our lives.

I use to come here for years and then I moved and have been guest dosing - my husband and I - and there’s no clinic available in the area not even Kingston. My home clinics still Binghamton - I emailed and emailed and no response a whenever i go in their busy. They know me, They were both my counselors before I left. I just need to have my insurance cover bc it’s expensive and taking from my kids and I cannot keep borrowing. Please 🙏 just let us be patients there or help us set up a can every day 4 hours a day to get to Binghamton. But doing that will affect me working. Idk im just fed up and I wish I wasn’t on the dose I am or I’d just stop. Yet id still give 5 stars bc everyone is just really sweet.

My experience here has been pleasant. I have been taken care of in two departments, and the service is excellent, I have no complaints. Both doctors and staff show commitment to us veterans, you can feel the love.

I was treated with ptst in 1979 after being hospitalized at scott air force base. The staff did a wonderfull job and acted very proffessional as well as being kind and understanding.

I've posted a few comments what's important is that the program works they now let u smoke bud also something alot of us worried about for take-homes but things WILL NOT always go your way I guess my advice to myself and others is simply keep going even if it gets rough and feels hard keep going even if you know your clean and a test says otherwise false positives or whatever they might be, just know that in the long run it is saving your life!!

They took me in very last minute. I was comfortable while staying there. The staff seemed very eager to help me and i actually cried when I left bc it was the calmest I've felt in years.

Best experience with the Pomeroy house and their staff

The Clinic has moved to 78 Center St, in the second floor of the CONTE building.

Everyone here always tries to assist me with great respect whenever I have been in need. It is truly appreciated.

This Clinic is outstanding, no problems with anything. Staff and Doctors are great people to work with.

Hospitality House, drastically changed my life. I wouldn't be the person, I am today, if it hadn't been for the staff and the other clients. My experience took place back in the late 80s.

This place saved my life. I was very comfortable while I was staying there and all the staff really care about you and want to see you succeed.

I went in 2007 and received the best help I needed but didn't use it.

I was just there for 8 moths I gave birth to my son there 6 days after I got there n that was 12/15/22 n we just left on 08/18/2023 it’s a good program I advise it if u need to get somewhere quick before cps takes the kids they get u right in

Saved my life. Really care about the children

I stumbled upon hope house accidentally. I was new to the city of Albany. I ended up in a rough situation and was kicked on the streets pregnant with 3 children. It was freezing cold and my children and I were not dressed correctly to be on the streets in the winter weather. I was having a panic attack and needed help. I thought this place was an apartment building and began knocking and ringing the bell frantically. The staff and women there were so supportive and loving to me and my children. They had no reason to open the door and let us get warm. They had no reason to offer my children a bite to eat. Instead they did those thing and then sat there with me for the entire day making phone call after phone call when the police failed to help me. I will forever be grateful for there assistance, love and kindness that day. I was only there for a day as I waited to find a DV shelter as my situation wasn’t quite what hope house is there for but the kindness and love I felt from every single person in that building was something I’ll never forget. If your struggling with addiction I KNOW they will welcome you and your babies with loving arms and support.

Provides excellent clinical recovery services

Its a good place for recovery. And they have a program called the Red Door. I strong recommend it if you're serious about your recovery

I’m someone who used to live there for some years, helped me learn a lot as a person, staff are great met some great people there loved it now that I look back on how much they helped me, recommend if it’s needed

They have really great therapist doctors and counselors they have Helped me cope with many different issues and provide me with The best coping skills and have a wonderful staff very friendly caring supportive.

Was nervous at first but wow... they actually respected my identity here. Therapy wasn’t cookie-cutter, it felt personal and healing. I wish there was more art-based stuff but still, I found space to process. Staff were affirming, even when things got rough. This place helped me feel like I deserve to heal!

We’ve tried places before, but this one felt different. The staff really took time to explain things to us as a family. My son felt seen and not judged. I wish they had more faith-based options, but overall it helped us take the next step forward.

Honestly this place gave me the reset I needed. I liked being around ppl my age who actually got it. The groups were helpful but a little slow at times. They helped me stay focused and made going back to school feel possible. Worth it for sure.

Addicts are pretty picky people, understand that when you read reviews. I was here for a year to complete a DWI Court program. I graduated here, and have fond memories. Rehab in general can save your life and make YOU, YOU again. That being said, some counselors are better than others. Some of these counselors party still, so dont be surprised if your counselor is occasionally hungover and whiny and easily irritated by you. Be prepared for textbook diagnosis from 1978 rather than firsthand experience. But all in all, start with art therapy, you wont regret it. Paul, Amelia, Amanda were my favorites.
