They offer residential care providing long term support for addiction recovery, as well as flexible outpatient addiction therapy | Treatments Programs Payment Options | This hospital has done a complete turn around as far as quality of health care that used to be subpar at times in the past. Now under the management of Albany medical center you can be more confident of the care you will receive here. Recently my father had to stay here for a week following a new cardiac diagnosis at the ER and at first we were skeptical of staying here because of past experiences but after our exponential the ER here we felt confident enough to stay here. While in the ER after diagnosis he was admitted pretty much instantly to a room and it was a private room and updated and the care he received was comforting . He doesn’t like staying at hospitals …who does but we were surprised and many things we expected to be typical of our past experiences but he was very satisfied with the attentiveness of the staff and even wise the food was good and hot. He was here a wrk and discharged with follow up appointments . With his new cardiac doctor. it’s nice to see that they have worked out the past kinks and turned this place around and you have a local hospital that you trust will give you decent care when the time arrives and not have to worry about going hours away to receive good healthcare.

I had a very bad fall. At this hospital I received efficient, thorough emergency care. It was a busy Saturday morning, yet they still managed to make me feel like I was getting individualized attention. I was in and out in a little under four hours, despite it being busy enough to require getting all my care in a hallway. They are hard workers, and it shows.

I am a two time alum of High Watch and I owe the place so much. The first time I went in July 2023 was the first time I ever tried to get sober - I was terrified to enter treatment, didn’t want the help, was angry and frankly wasn’t ready to get sober. High Watch nonetheless showed me so much love, support and encouragement during my 28 day stay, and in the months following my discharge. They met me where I was and didn’t give up trying to help me. This stay at High Watch was the first time in my life I felt like I belonged somewhere.
I came back 6 months later in February 2024 and this time stayed for 4.5 months - completed the regular 28 day program and also the 3 month extended guest program. I am still sober today. If it hadn’t been for my extremely positive experience during round 1, I would never have returned. The staff at High Watch genuinely care about every single guest there, the therapists and group sessions are great, and the campus is beautiful. There are quite a lot of rules / a rigid daily schedule, which was sometimes tough but for me I needed this kind of structure. What’s also cool is that so many (I think the majority) of staff members are in recovery themselves and many have gone through High Watch so they get what it’s like to be in treatment and how hard it is, especially at the beginning. High Watch also helps set you up with plans after your discharge and have great connections with sober livings and IOPs to help with your aftercare plans. For what it’s worth, the food is also amazing 😊

I can’t even express how much I love this place! I have been going to therapy for a very long time and have never been to one where both therapist and Psychiatrist go out of their way for true emergencies. Carolyn is my therapist for and the first time EVER since I have been in therapy she has offered/ allowing me to call her the day before and day after for a brief phone appointment (which isn’t usually allowed) because I am pressing criminal charges against my brother who rapped me throughout my whole childhood. From the child victims act passing my statues of limitations are now lifted. I was on the brink of suicide and I have to say from both her and Dr Dilullo I have to thank for still being here to even write this review. Dr Dilullo is absolutely amazing as well. He knows his stuff and will go out of his way for severe emergencies which is sometimes why he runs late once 1:30/2 pm hits so if you don’t want to wait I suggest making an early appointment. Not many people understand why the wait is long for him and get mad until they are one of those people. He will fit a patient to make sure they are safe. People who work in mental health are manufacturers of hope and boy these 2 manufacture extremely high quality of hope. 💝 Thank you for saving my life and helping me fight through these hard times.

They offer flexible outpatient addiction therapy allowing patients to live at home | Treatments Programs Payment Options | BlueCrest has absolutely been a life-changing program for me. Going in, I was skeptical and unsure—my only frame of reference for rehab was what I’d seen in movies. I couldn’t have been more wrong.
From the moment I walked through the doors, I was met with compassion, authenticity, and unwavering support. The staff at BlueCrest truly care—not just in a professional sense, but with a genuine, heartfelt commitment to helping every single client who comes through.
One of the most powerful and unique aspects of this program is how they approach the Big Book and the 12 Steps. Rather than just skimming the surface, they teach it—really teach it—in a way that’s both accessible and deeply meaningful. I gained insights into recovery and into myself that I never imagined possible.
This isn’t just a rehab facility—it’s a place where lives are rebuilt, where hope is restored, and where real transformation happens. I will forever be grateful for my time at BlueCrest. If you’re considering taking that first step, don’t hesitate—this place is the real deal.

This place was not so good… got a pair of diamond & opal earrings, plus a Tiffanys rose gold n onyx necklace stolen from me… no one could find them so they blamed the hospital. The hospital had no record of me wearing them. I’m pretty sure they were taken off at the rehab center. But nothing was resolved nor was there Compensation Discussed. The necklace and earrings were very sentimental to me. In addition, you could never find a nurse when you need one. At times I had to wait over an hour for a nurse to come back to the station. They were short staffed, but always had four nurses in detox and they were the best nurses. Meds on time and always had a smile on. Furniture def doesn’t look like the pictures, they are run down and should be thrown away. There were coils sticking out or completely broken and you just sunk into the couch. They were peeling nasty and dirty. Not sure when the last time they were cleaned. Therapists were pretty good but def could have used more one to one time. I don’t think I would recommend this place to anyone.

Literally saved my life. I've had severe mental health issues my whole life and have been hospitalized, I've been to nearly a dozen therapists and psychiatrists, and I'm only 24 now. Months after I got out of the hospital several years ago and endless therapy sessions I really had given up. I had tried everything I could think of. I couldn't function. I did my best and it wasn't enough. Suicide seemed inevitable. My dear sweet mom was the one that googled up WCMHN and got me to do an intake. I didn't think anything different would happen, but quickly realized that I was being taken very seriously. The therapist I had been seeing told me I would never qualify to get into WCMHN because my condition wasn't "serious enough", but the person doing intake strongly disagreed. They set me up with an actual team of professionals: a therapist, a therapy group, a case manager, a psychiatrist, and a very kind nurse, all in the same place. They even gave me rides to appointments when I needed them. That was two years ago and I'm still a client here in recovery but the improvement I've experienced is nothing I ever thought that ME of all people could even hope for. They are all so kind and respectful and they understand that mental illness is as serious as any other illness. If you have lost all hope, give this a shot. I'm not saying it will be easy, but you will have a huge support team behind you and the resources you need to learn how to be happy and healthy. They deal with all types of serious chronic illnesses and addictions of all kinds. They can help you find housing and a job, and teach you to be independent. They even have free picnics, art classes, etc. for clients. Start with getting more information and see where it takes you. Really could not be more appreciative...I wish everyone knew about Western CT Mental Health.
