Highly recommended.Caring services has been a blessing to me in so many ways. They provide food, counseling. They not only provide shelter and IOP classes, they also get me to medical appointments that I've neglected to go to for years. I truly was saved by this service and am forever thankful for their care. After 2 successful months, I got into a verbal argument with my housemate and we were both discharged so if you go, be careful and follow every rule to the T.Despite the disappointing ending, I still highly recommend caring services!

I was on the fence deciding if I wanted to try therapy again. I had some bad experiences in the past. I finally decided to give it a try and I am so glad I did. Allison is amazing. She is so warm and friendly. I immediately felt comfortable with her. She has helped me understand my emotions and even to the point of why I feel the way I do during certain times. She listens and does not judge or stereotype me. Allison really cares about her clients. I have a long road of recovery ahead of me and she assured me she'd be there every step of the way. Thank you Allison! I highly recommend Daymark in king and Allison! At Daymark I also have a care manager. Her name is Carol.I absolutely love Carol. She is so amazing. She calls to check on me on a weekly basis. She is always happy to hear about my day/week.Carol is warm and loving. She has given me so many resources to deal with different problems I have. And her advice helps me everytime. I can call Carol at anytime she's always there for me. Every phone call I have with Carol she shows her love for me. This program works if you work it. The staff, from the doctor all the way down to the receptionists, are kind, knowledgeable, helpful and professional. This is the only clinic I've been to that met me where I was at in my recovery and didn't make me feel less than. Then to top it off they used a grant to help me get my car legal, so that I could make my appointments and continue in my recovery. I highly recommend this clinic, no matter how many unsuccessful treatments and clinics you've had in the past. And good luck in your journey to a successful sobriety. God bless

Mr. Ringer is the man and this entire community is lucky to have him. Not only is he plethora of great information and experiences, even more importantly he genuinely cares from the bottom of his heart about people and their overall success. If you enter with an open mind and heart you will find a place where you will feel at home and have an opportunity to reach your goals. After reading some of the negative reviews, they blow my mind and I feel that those troubled souls had other issues going on that did not allow them to see Dr. Ringer s true intentions and spirit. Keep in mind he is in a very tough business, opening his doors to some very troubled individuals. I m very grateful for having the opportunity to learn from him and have a seat inside his four walls. Until the day you decide to call it quits everyone that walks through your doors will be better off when they walk out. With gratitude and respect I leave this review.

Everyone was super nice when I went :) I voluntarily committed myself and was there for 3 days and all of the nurses were super nice to me and told me I had a positive attitude. The bed was comparable to sleeping in my dorm bed so no qualms there. The doctors seemed to really listen to me. I never want to go to a psych ward again, but I am glad that I was at this one.

I was a patient with this facility and what can I say, JOB WELL-DONE EVERYONE!!! I have a gift that I identify to be good. I m bipolar, schizophrenia, and I have a personality Disorder. All of these I have identified are considered good to me. It all depends on how you experience the gift you have. I just left yesterday and my stay has been amazing there!!! The staff is so warm and welcoming. They fill you up with so much love and care. I was on the 500 hall and it was good to be apart of their lives for 11 days. I am going to miss everyone but I know I must attend the world with a new and better me with the gift I have. No disorder or condition, it s a gift. It may sometimes feel like a curse but it s a good one because anything that GOD created is GOOD!!!Also, to Ms. Lisa (The Custodian) I appreciate her so much for making my room so clean and it smelled so good each day she cleaned my room. She has a warm heart and a peaceful mind!!! I didn t have to ask or want for anything. She made sure she checked everything before leaving to go to the next room. I truly enjoyed her as well. She always had a smile on her face and I just loved it!!Thank you again to everyone on the 500 Hall for not judging my experience or gift but making me feel normal and welcomed. To the cafeteria!!! You re the reason I didn t really want to leave!!! The food is very good and tasteful and you can get seconds!!! Lawd, it can t get no better than that!!!

I am a 2018 graduate, on May 18th I will be 2 years sober after being in addiction for 11 years. Before coming to Freedom House my children told my mom that they didn’t want to live with me anymore and so my mom took them firom me (Thank God!!). My life was useless and I was on a quick one way street to death!! My heart was soo heavy and I literally had no hope left - I felt so worthless and carried so much shame!! It makes me cry thinking about it - But Praise GOD!!! I have been redeemed and my life has been completely transformed in a way I cannot describe — Not only is the chain of addiction broken but the chains of shame and worthlessness are gone as well!!! I now have strong, growing relationship with my children and a job that allows me to take care of my kids independently! I can’t fully describe the amount of freedom I have received from Christ through Freedom House!! They were my only hope and boy did they come through!!! <3

I am so grateful to Insight for helping my son, and helping our whole family. Stephanie and Mike have changed our lives forever for the better. It s a real gift to be relatable to young people and be able to guide them to a life of integrity. My son was completely lost before coming to Insight. He has been living a sober life and working a twelve step program and has a relationship with God. I can see that he is working through his issues and learning to deal with daily life as it is. Our family is changing and growing, and I see him for the brave person he is. He has a strong support system and plenty of sober friends to have fun with. The Insight Program is forever in my heart.

In light of a number of reviewers that have decided to detail their experience in ways that proclaim their victimhood, I'd like to preface my review by saying that the Insight Program is a voluntary program. Meaning that the recipient of the service must consent to any services provided and that he/she/they has the option to relieve themselves of said service at any given time. For any newcomers brought here by word of mouth, referral, or perhaps a desperate search for hope, I'd like to caution you from extracting truth from reviews that presume the contrary. You'll find a common theme in reviews such as these: unsubstantiated blame and an absolute shamelessness to be seen as the victim. While these words might appear to come from a place of bitterness and resentment, I assure you it's the opposite. Many of those reviewers, and their beneficiaries, represent some of my first friends when I was lucky enough to join the program.I was 18, trying my hand at college, struggling to maintain a romantic relationship, overwhelmed by life outside of home and pretending that taking Xanax and synthetic opiates for breakfast was normal (among other peculiar justifications). I had struggled with drugs and alcohol abuse prior to this, but I hadn't yet experienced loneliness and stress to this extent. Shortly after my second semester at school I overdosed and was sent to a behavioral health unit. My parents were as supportive and afraid as they were distraught. After deciding to return to Greensboro, my mom, the hero in this story, reached out to an old friend who was a parent involved in the parent group of the program. My first 2 months of IOP services were unbearable. I won't parrot my resentful friends and suggest it was because of the staff, the hours, the meetings, the suggestions or some form of unholy, sadistic indoctrination of cult-like ideology; my level of misery was in direct proportion to my unwillingness to take responsibility for the man I chose to be and the life I chose to create. The more it was "your" fault, the worse I felt. With that being said, not only do I understand the place from which the malice found in these negative reviews was born, I was another couple years of victimization and unwillingness to confront my reality from writing my own hate-filled review.Today I have 8 years sober, approaching 9. My experience with Insight has been absolutely wonderful in every way. It would be nave to suggest that I was incapable of getting sober anywhere else, but from where I stand now, I have a very difficult time imagining anywhere better than the Insight Program. Here are a few things I'm lucky enough to have in my life today that I wouldn't have without my recovery. I have an absolutely incredible relationship with my parents that I thought was never possible (mostly thanks to the Parent Program at Insight). I laugh a lot. I have goals and aspirations. I have a group of friends that I would do anything for, and I know the feeling is mutual. I'm still learning how to budget... I haven't sincerely considered taking a drink or using a drug in a very, very long time. And I genuinely love my life today. However, I don't want to create the impression that this has been "easy" or that as soon as I got sober my problems melted away. I have plenty of feelings that I still respond poorly to, I have a host of character traits that aren't pretty when brought to the light of day, sometimes I let fear dictate my actions and I still need help. The quality of my recovery, and lack thereof, is 100% up to me and the results aren't without work. However, what's abundantly clear to me is that the work is worth it. I'm eternally grateful for all of the people at Insight who made my experience so wonderful.

My father was recently admitted into Forsyth where he received excellent care. The stand out is Katherine Simerson, my dad's Nurse Practitioner during his stay. She reached out to us sometimes three times a day with clear and honest updates on my dad's health progress, providing us with photos, and was patient with all of our questions. My dad really liked her and felt she took great care of him.Katherine seems to be someone who loves her job as an NP, very competent and a real care giver, not just in title but in practice. You'll be in excellent hands with her.
