I got lucky with the surgeon Dr Jordan and he realized this was my first broken bone ever so he took his time to explain the options and the implications and he put me at ease with his competence. We just completed one a few days ago on how great Dr Christopher Bernaise and his staff are and how much Angel loves him. Dr Bernaise’s rating is not just good, he is great. His rating is excellent on everything and my Down Syndrome daughter Angel loves him and looks forward to her visits with him.He really helps her on her everyday life and what she should do at home and when she has to go out. She has never had a psychiatrist that comes anywhere close to competing with Dr Christopher Bernaise. Please give him all of the praise and of course a great raise on what he does for Glenwood and his patients.

I have been to Edgefield 3 times and I will not go anywhere else for treatment for substance use disorder. The staff is caring and compassionate, attentive to the needs of the clients, and puts the client first. There was a new administrator this time I went, Mr. Bobby Rayford, who I highly commend on his hiring of the new staff. He is a delight to be around and even did my discharge plan for me. His concern for Edgefield being a top notch rehab facility really shows through. Good job on cutting back on the snacks, because many addicts in recovery struggle with weight gain. Thank you Edgefield for another beautiful stay. I will never forget the sunrises and sunsets I saw out there on the bayou. If you are looking for a rehab to meet all of your needs, look no further. This is the place.

Edgefield first caught my attention because of its location and history but upon arrival I was introduced to the compassionate staff that made me feel at home. The repuposed plantation house is such a charm with beautiful chandeliers, fireplaces, and paintings to gaze at between classes, meals, or in the afternoon. The staff was so caring and involved in my recovery process. They genuinely are concerned for the patients and it shines through all of the employees, from the physicians, techs, and lunch room employees. Being set on a quiet bayou with lots of wildlife to observe and appreciate. I recommend a volleyball game during your stay. The food was amazing and filling, so if you are on a diet I suggest passing on the 2 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches they offer as snack. Thank you for helping me so that I could help others.

Absolutely beautiful grounds and the most supportive, caring, and loving staff. From the moment I walked in at Intake I immediately felt welcomed. Was greeted by staff that also had personaly experienced the recovery journey. Having that in common made it easier for me to be able to start forgiving myself and focusing on my sobriety. The techs were able to guide me , answering all my questions and calming my anxiety. There was plenty of other clients to talk to. We enjoyed fishing, volley ball and basketball. Staff even played with us. My counselor was able to listen, be empathetic but also hold me accountable. Which I needed more than I knew at the time. The atmosphere was relaxing and perfect for my self healing. I can't thank Edgefield Recovery Center enough for giving me the opportunity to get my life back. One I am proud of. I would strongly recommend Edgefield to anyone ready to start their journey. We had nightly AA meetings, small groups, one on one counseling, mediation, yoga, gratitude, family meal's. If you are looking for a safe place to come to get help for your self or someone you love, to overcome an addiction problem, then the Wilderness Deliverance Camp is the place for you. The Wilderness Deliverance Camp is a faith based organization that helps you to overcome addictions and address the needs of the client. After a 30 day review to see if both the client and the organization is a fit for one another, the client enters into a one year contract where they live and work on the ranch. They are provided housing and food at no charge. While working on the ranch, they learn certain skills in dealing with animals and they learn to work together as a team. You are expected to attend all Bible studies and attend all church functions on site. There is a beautiful fully functional church on site. You will be taught first of all to love yourself and then how to love others in a Christ like manner. I personally have seen how successful this program is and would strongly encourage you to check them out. You won't regret it!

Ms. Michelle was/is a natural leader and mediator. Darren, " black counselor", and Mr. Fletcher remained level headed and firm with staff and clients. Mr. Marvin is very considerate and calming on your way to and from rayville. Oan: hope I never need to return (unless it's to take Darren's job😅😁😀) oh, and Ms. Karon is one of the most leveled headed, straight forward, counselors there. I enjoyed her group (even with the coffee restrictions she abides by😌😉)

Me and my mom came here every morning at 4-5:30 am she would be close to the front of the line her name was DEL LANGHELD SHE started around year 2000 or 2001 until she passed away in 2015 this clinic was amazing to he if sick they would dose at car if she couldn't come in or something we were there for a long time i hope they continue to do great work even though i live in Denver now and go to Denver methadone clinic my self i still miss coming there every morning

Been a patient for quite a while and have had many counselors,,, I would just like to say how Mrs. Selena has been by far the best one I've had. I have built a great relationship with her. I never feel like she judgeing me on who I was in the past and sitting in her office is like meeting with a friend and I think that's gotta be the way all patients can ask for in a counselor. She has went out of her way several times to make sure I was accommodated to what I needed and for that I am so grateful... I know without a doubt this woman is part of the success ive had in mmt &my personal life..For a long time I had the impression counselors were just out to make our day harder than it already is and were judging us because of our addiction but Ms Selena has me looking at counselors different. So again thank you Ms Selena,,, I wish I could do more to show you how much you've impacted me ,,,I owe her big time,

Been going here 8 years even before it was baarts but since it's changed company its been even better i had some doubts lately and so I had a site down with my councilor and she cleared up all my doubts she does care they all do it's not their fault this happened I apologize for being so upset im staying at my home clinic the medicine just is better I gueessed dosed atba sister clinic last week and i think the red liquid they have the dye in it does something to me and effects me bad so I'm staying home where I started my treatment this place saved my life and I need to say that just when you think they don't care they do sometimes being human is making mistakes and getting upset but this place is good they care about not just the recovery but they care about the person's wellbeing and how they are doing. The Dr. Is real understanding down to earth but doesnt play which he shouldnt i like that he is serious but makes you comfortable, he makes me feel like not only have I came so fare from when we first started my treament but as a adult and human One of the best Dr I've ever had and there only been a couple to a few good ones so thank you Dr. Also the director Ms. Melissa is amazing and also so understanding and carew about us all. I don't know the other councilors but I'm sure they care mine does I know that now and the Head nurse Great at her job and so kind! So are the dosing nurses so kind and very nice . As is thr check-in receptionist there is 2 but they are bow awesome . Thank you everyone from Baarts in Alexandria Louisiana for all you do for not just me but everyone else.
