Wonderful ladies that answer the phone! They are so friendly and so is the counselor she is worth 5 stars alone and so are the girls upfront…. Now, the reason for the 4 stars is because of the nurse practitioner here. She deserves nothing. No stars at all. She rushes you and on the very first visit has no idea who you are but will shove meds at you and demand you take them and not stop them no matter what they’re doing to you. I’ve never had someone sit down and not let me get a single word out. She’s the worst… but everyone else here is very pleasant!

I've been to multiple places for treatment and this place is BY FAR the best I've been to in 10 years. The appointment process does take a bit longer than most places but you can tell the people who work here genuinely care about you. They listen AND accommodate to your wants and needs. Great Clinic. I started at the New Castle Location when it was The Discovery House and then transferred to the Cranberry location when I moved, and then ended here at the Farrell location when I moved again back to Ohio. They accepted Ohio medicaid and I really didn't want to change clinics, so I stayed with Discovery House/Comprehensive Treatment Center. Each location was fantastic. By far my favorite clinics. Counselors and staff were 100% amazing and super caring, considerate and most importantly understanding and non judgemental. I really recommend this place.

I was referred here by my doctor for mental health.. I was terrified to go due to extreme anxiety.. But to my surprise the lady the registered me was super nice.. the lady they had me talking to was super nice even though I thought I was too broken she's was willing to help me.. they only thing I was a little disappointed with was I went in to get my meds straightened out and find a new one and it has taken me a month to be seen again bc they see so many people.. which isn't they're fault they're trying to help so many people.. it just sucks to have to wait and fight alone until the next appointment.

I had to write a review just for that girls tantrum about Sarah. I’ve seen her for 5 years and went from agoraphobia to social anxiety. Progress doesn’t happen over night therapy is a process and calling her a prissy princess is so embarrassing for you. You obviously need some healing and sorry this place wasn’t right for you. Sarah offers ranges of therapy that is effective if you stick to your treatment plan.

Well your people who work there have no clue on what they are doing I have had appointments there's multiple times and email an email let's confirming that I have an appointment but when I get there they say I don't and remind you I have to you use provide a ride to get to my appointment just to have them tell me I don't so I told my caseworker what was going on so she call,s scheduled, s me appointment for October 8th and at 8:30 and when I get there they tell me I don't have appointment and I told the my caseworker from children services made me the appointment then she tells I don't have you scheduled but I can get you in around 11:30 and I said I can't set here for 3 hours cause I have provide a ride picking me at9:30 I can't reschedule my ride that's not how that works and told her cause you people are incompetent and don't know what your doing how many have lost there kids because of your incompetent.

My experience at The Bluffs was honestly the best experience I've had for recovery! I have been to one other facility in the past and Yea alot is the same thing.. But there is something about the people there... Caring. Loving. Compassionate. Understanding. Heck even months after I was discharged from their care I still feel their care! Brandon reaches out almost like a good friend checking in! Kaitlyn my therapist there talked to me one day one the phone while I was going through some motions for almost 2 hours!!! Now if that doesn't speak words to move mountains I don't know what does! Even the friends I made there we are still in contact and talk almost daily! One person I definitely miss and appreciate also is Pastor Mike! (someone tell him I still think he smells nice)! Haha! He'll know what I'm talking about! If you need any sort of help with life and it's addictive sides please reach out to them! They save lives and keep them going! I would love to come back as a speaker and talk about my time there!

Lisa in the Physician and Medical Staff Credentialing Department went above and beyond to help with a very serious problem with one of the staff hospitalists. Jessica W. the nursing supervisor also went above and beyond trying to find this doctor to get resolve as did Sarah B the day before. Those three ladies took ownership trying to solve a problem and be helpful and kind - in this day and age that is very rare at such a large hospital. The Chief of Staff got involved as well. I came In as a new patient recently because I was experiencing aggressive, anxiety,anger mood swings. I saw Dr Richman and explained to him how I was feeling. Wouldn't you believe it he prescribes me wellbutrin, side effects are irration, aggression, anger. Now I'm sitting here feeling 10x worse, lost a day of work can't get ahold of anyone. " Did this doctor even hear a word I said"? I highly recommend staying away from Dr Richman thank God for the pharmist at genco that warned me about the side effects and advised me to stop immediately.

Wilson Hall and the entire staff are absolute angels on earth! If anyone has negative things to say about the staff or facilities their probably fighting themselves over getting sober and allowing the process to work. I am so not perfect or the "pillar of the community" but as the House Coordinator (for both extended stays) I saw miracles happen on a daily!! Mr Montgomery treated me like I was his son and family. They care about my fellow veterans struggling and are always there to answer a question or give you clarity on a thought or emotion. I love the staff and facility and own them more than any about of money can replace that! Need more of these facilities.

Not what it was 25yrs ago, what a good experience. Most individuals seeking counseling support, any form of adiction accredited counselors are available, very friendly experience, great support staff! No reason someone cant find the help he or she needs, very professional staff ready to figure our the best approach plan for every individual case!! If you need some help, do not be afraid to open up and be honest, they are very up on Hippa laws, and the gut feeling I got was they sincerely care about people!!!!!

The horizon house helped save my life. The staff here is absolutely incredible they were always there for me when I needed help or someone to talk to. Chris is an incredible caring man. Melissa and Tracy were always so sweet, kind, helpful and uplifting. The facilitators Rob, Shiann, Maddie, Charisma, Hazel were great teachers with alot of advice. Kristen the case manager was truly an inspiration along with a few others. The general staff were always there to talk to if needed. I will always have a place in my heart for this staff. A huge thank you to Ashlee, Keia, Sharon and Natalie yall were a big part of my success at the house and I will forever be thankful to have met you all. If you need help with addiction do not be afraid to reach out to townhall 2 and get the help you need. These negative comments are probably people who didnt truly want the help. The people that work there are great!! Always trying to help the best they can, trying to build community with amazing events and really showing what a good institution this is. I've been going for over 6 months now and I have to say that everyone is so nice. My counselor has literally saved my life and helped me work through my anxiety.

The people here have saved my life. They actually care and want you to get better. I have to talk about Erin the nurse though. She has been such a great influence on my life. She has always been there to help and encourage me to succeed but never ever have I felt judged by her for my previous mistakes. I’ve seen some people get mad and say horrible things about her because they lost their privileges, only to later come and tell her thank you for holding them accountable and helping them to really get back on track. When you’re an addict you place blame on others so much because it’s the only way you can live with yourself, but then you come to realize that it’s us who did wrong, they realized Erin didn’t take their privileges they took them from themselves, and the same people have come around and told me she saved their lives as well. She is an incredible nurse. She cares so much and sets an excellent example. I hope that Foundations realize just how blessed they are to have someone like her. She’s a treasure and a beautiful soul. One reason I’ve been clean for so long is I couldn’t stand to let her down. When I say she’s saved my life I mean it. Cherish her. Always!

I cannot say enough good about foundations and their staff. The nurses Erin and Edie are God sends. These people have helped save my life and I have many years clean and sober because of their help. People have preconceived notions and judgments about medication assisted recovery but you don’t know how it really is. These people care. They don’t want you stuck there. They saved my life over and over and I will forever be grateful. I’m going on 19 years clean because of their help and services. If you or a loved one needs help, there’s no better help out there than foundations. ADDED…. I was reading the other reviews and I’d love to address the one who says the nurses are horrible human beings. ABSOLUTELY NOT. When you don’t follow the rules that are out there for your safety you lose privileges. The nurses are not being mean by having to tell you that you failed a drug test or you didn’t show up to group so you can’t have the same privileges as those who do what’s right.. YOU DID THAT TO YOURSELF. And then he stated someone should burn it down!? If anyone did something so heinous because they can’t comply.. you’d be totally destroying so many peoples future. Not only would you take innocent peoples jobs but you’d crush single moms in recovery and other people trying to make it! How incredibly horrible! If anyone out there wants to get their lives back these people will bend over backwards to help you. Please don’t be turned off by a rant from someone who destroyed his own experience by not doing what’s right. Part of recovery is taking responsibility for your mistakes. No one can ruin your recovery but you. Foundations is amazing and they care. Especially the AMAZING NURSES! I want to add about my counselor Sydney. I have never in my life felt more advocated for. She is absolutely amazing. The people here truly care and want to see people get better. The only people who have problems are the ones who are completely out of line and disrespectful. They’re mad because they don’t get privileges but they forget they are the ones who ruin it for themselves. The nurses didn’t make you give a positive urinalysis. You did that. I have maintained my privileges for over a decade by simply allowing myself to live a normal life. And I wouldn’t have this chance if it wasn’t for the help of these great people. Thank you foundation’s staff for helping to save my life. My son who I got clean for in the first place is now on his way to becoming a state trooper. If you listen to them and do what you’re supposed to do. You will have your life back!
