Loved my experience at RIO. They saved my life and helped prepare me for the next step of my journey. I’ve never seen a treatment staff be such a family among themselves as well as with clients, I miss them everyday. Made some true friends while I was there that go back with me to visit. It was truly an educational experience and I wish other treatment centers had such beneficial material and educated facilitators, I couldn’t be happier with my experience; they’re head and shoulders above the other treatment centers I’ve dealt with. If you or a loved one need help with recovery from addiction, this is the place to go!

The Recovery Institute of Ohio helped me turn my life around. The staff truly care and get it — they know what you’re going through and are open and receptive to your personal care and situation. The program teaches you how to rebuild your life and believe in yourself again, and there’s an amazing recovery community built around it that continues to support you long after treatment. I’m forever grateful for the compassion and understanding I found here.
If I could give this place a million stars, I would. I have 60 days clean today (in an IOP program now) but I couldn’t have done it without the first 30 days being here. I wanted to give shout out to outstanding staff members here, but I realized the list grew too long and every member of staff was amazing. This isn’t a five star resort, but they have the most caring staff and your care is truly individualized. You don’t go without anything, but it’s not a day spa. It’s not overcrowded, so you don’t feel like just a number. If you truly want to work to recover, this is THE place. Very helpful in many areas concerning mental health.
Having an outside ear to bend is at times easier than talking to someone in your circle.
Have learned to deal with my Anxiety, PTSD, and associative disorder.
Some things that those close to me just really couldn’t understand.
Have been to some of the group sessions and those have been very helpful on many levels.
I have recommended this place to others. I don’t know if any of them have taken that first step or not.

I had a small (HUGE) problem with Bayshore a few years back that even resulted in policy change but since then with staffing upgrades the place is awesome. My therapist Chelsea is hands down the best in the industry. I've been in therapy for over 30 years and never made the personal growth I have experienced with my team at Bayshore. They. Eat the other local option, Firelands, alive.
I would have given 5 stars but I hold resentments for my incident there, but I'll add that to the list of things I need to work on.
I have been going here for the past few years for my mammograms. Recently I had to have an ultrasound and biopsy done. The entire staff at the Women’s Health Center is top notch. Not only with their knowledge and professionalism, but their bed side manner is phenomenal. I have severe anxiety and the entire experience went smoothly and I was made to feel very comfortable. Shout out to: Cathy Fior, Dr. Babu, Allison and Olivia.

From the moment I arrived at Mercy Health Lorain, I was treated with kindness, professionalism, and genuine compassion. Dr. Timothy O'Donnell was outstanding—skilled, calm, and reassuring. I felt completely confident in his care and in every part of the surgical process.
The anesthesiologists were especially attentive, taking exceptional care with my special allergy needs. They listened closely, double-checked everything, and made sure I felt safe and protected the entire time. That level of diligence and compassion meant more to me than I can express.
Every staff member I encountered was supportive, patient, and truly went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and well-being. It’s rare to find a medical team that combines such high-level expertise with such genuine human care.
I am deeply grateful for the exceptional treatment I received and would highly recommend Mercy Health Lorain, Dr. O’Donnell, and the entire surgical and anesthesia team to anyone needing care. Thank you all for making what could have been a frightening experience feel calm, safe, and well cared for.

**Whomever is in charge of allowing Therapist to have Telehealth option, please take this into consideration. When some patients have bad anxiety days or bad pain days, this option would make their lives much easier, while being able to continue therapy.

Good facility and kind, helpful people. Staff are always friendly and appointments begin on time. Abby, Stacy, and Catherine are wonderful! Stacey is very conscientious and caring, and she helped me adjust my prescriptions to find what works great for me. I did have to wait a month to get my first appointment as their office is popular, but once I got in I was able to schedule regularly.
If the Far West center reads this, please consider introducing a telehealth option! It is convenient and helpful for people with anxiety or transportation issues. I think your patients would really benefit. Thanks for all you do.

Everyone on the third floor is incredible !!!!! From therapy to legal advice they go above and beyond to help - I had a very difficult time in my life and was left with NOTHING - received therapy and the advocates attempted court with me since I had nobody and I simply needed someone in my corner.
The second floor on the other hand isn’t really kind and act more like a bother when you have questions.

I'm positive this place saved my life. They have the best staff in the world. You can't find a more caring staff any place. They go above and beyond what is required of them. I learned so much here in just the short 45 days I was here. I have over a year of sobriety, that's something I hadn't achieved in over 20 years. Highly recommend this place!!

Anyone who enters has to feel better when they leave
I have been going for almost 5 years now. I do love my therapist Lindsey very much, you guys are very understanding when it comes to me missing appointments.
My only complaint is that most of the time when I call, no one answers.

My therapists help me more than they will probably ever know. Mental health is so important ..we need to end the stigma and maybe more people would have healthy minds not just bodies.

They saw my son with the school services he had two different counselors through the year, they were wonderful, kept in contact and gave updates, and started first with talking with the parent, their methods are great and I felt comfortable with them from day one!

I was scared I’d be the youngest one there, but they actually had a group just for people my age. It wasn’t fancy, but it worked. I’m back at school now and doing better. Grateful, honestly... So happy I saw it through.
Charak Center for Health and Wellness in Medina, Ohio has an amazing, helpful and caring staff who go out of their way to assist both new and existing clients. In addition, my provider Angal, is patient, knowledgeable and compassionate with my needs. I'd been with a therapist in Las Vegas for over 9 years and thought she was top-notch; however, Angal and the Medina office far surpass my prior Nevada experience.

I have a bit of a story to tell but I want to start it by saying I found Applegate recovery by accident. It was the single best accident of my life I was sober or clean whichever you use and had been since 2016 when I started seeing Applegate in 2018. This place performs miracles. I am living proof. I have a life that I can take part in and enjoy now and Applegate recovery is why I have that luxury. If you're thinking about a place please just call, I am so glad I did. These people truly care about every single patient they know you by name they know your backstory they don't forget your backstory and I will say that the best change I've seen over the years started with Applegate and that is it is a forgiving program that works. Please understand I am telling you, these people save lives. I pray for you now not even knowing your name that you are successful however you approach your addiction. They care about me.

Dr. Lana is a very knowledgeable & empathetic doctor with a heart of gold, who always goes the extra mile. She really genuinely cares about her patients. I do groups at Edna House and absolutely luv it there! I have told the women several times I’m moving in just not as a client (yet, right?) these women support one another and are somehow able to put differences aside, plus it always floors me that everytime I walk in that kitchen is spotless!

The Edna House for Women is the best! It is a safe place to heal and to grow while living in a supportive and structured environment. The recent renovations have turned an already very special home into a beautiful place to live while beginning a new life in sobriety. They offer all of this without requiring money or having health insurance to get into the program. This house saves lives!!!
