Fort Supply, Oklahoma | Northwest Center for Behavioral Health is a certified community behavioral health clinic that helps with substance use and mental health issues. They also support community residents with co-occurring conditions. They’re located at East County Road in Fort Supply, Oklahoma. The location is easily accessible through State Highway 183 and nearby m | Treatments Programs Payment Options | This is a very old facility, in fact the oldest mental health facility in the state. If you’re struggling, but afraid to take that first step to help yourself, you’ve nothing to fear here. Yes, it is restrictive. No phones and no smoking, etc. However, those are measures that actually help you to cope with your mind and body, maybe for the first time in a long time. The staff of nurses, therapists, doctors and techs are the most loving people I’ve ever met. They saved my life. I had not eaten or slept for months, struggling to cope with a physical illness that is killing me, and a mind fracturing under the pressure of it all. I leaned into it all, and let them save me. And they did. Food I could tolerate, fresh and plentiful was served to me by kitchen staff that care and nurture, without judgment. I was given medication that helped me to finally sleep, really rest. I was given every opportunity to share and find comfort in my pain, both with the staff and with the other clients there, themselves as scared as I was. Today I am home and so grateful for my life and the VERY last line of people willing to stand up for and with me, and advocate for my physical and emotional worth. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. You are forever kept safely in it. Clint, Tyra, Moriam, Stephanie, Linda, Logan, Abby, Emily, Megan, Dr. Reeder and Dr. Cunningham, the intake and kitchen staff, and finally to Troy. Who watched me move and learn to be at peace with my body, in its weakened and depressed state. The sun is still on my face, the wind at my back now, thank you all.

It was very much a tough love facility, which is the only way to get through to me. I didn't have any problems personally with the staff (other than my big personality clashing with staff's big personalities at times), they were all very nice to me. But they don't take no shit either, so don't pick this place trying to stir up trouble. You will not get along well. The kitchen staff is SO loving, I wish I was able to eat more while I was there!! It always looked so delicious and had huge helpings. I like this facility out of all other 7 times I've been elsewhere, because it is a dual diagnosis. They really give you curriculum that helps you to understand why we think and are this way, rather than the basic curriculum. Thank you all staff for being a helpful stepping stone in my story.

Wichita Detox felt like the reset button I didn’t know I needed. The whole vibe there was calm but no-nonsense — they didn’t sugarcoat things, but they weren’t harsh either.
