Always made me feel welcome and part of a family. UPDATE 5 yrs later and Jarra will still answer her phone and help me, talk and remind me about the good qualities that I have.( 4 months later update) So this is my update October 2024 my daughter is at Resonance after she got out of prison and she loves it and is so proud of herself that I talked her into it so. I am so incredibly grateful for the CALM Center. I recently was impatient here and it truly changed my perspective on how I want to live out the rest of my life. I’ve struggled with my mental health for years and have been in and out facilities but let me tell you, the CALM center in the only one who had left an impact on me. If you or someone you love is going impatient please know that they are in safe hands and that they’ll feel truly loved and cared for while they are there. Shout out to Ms. Tabitha, Mr. Scott, and Mr. Jimmy for making the days feel less hard. You can tell they truly have a care for mental health and love their job. Also both therapists are amazing but Mr Spencer is one of the best therapist I’ve ever had. He showed me that their is more to life then what’s going on around me, and genuinely gave me hope for the future. I’ll forever be grateful for the Calm Center and the people who run it. ♥️

It was amazing the food is amazing the stuff for amazing like literally everything about it is amazing except for the beds the beds are a little bit uncomfortable but other than that it's amazing and it's also really short term which I like about that it's only 7 days which is actually not that bad so yeah the doctor really helpful the therapist really helpful everything's really helpful

I thank you for having a State Funded way to give people psychiatric drugs. When I was a kid I couldn't be trusted with things like Health Insurance. You guys gave my Wife and I pills that wouldn't have been feasible because we were just starting out. Your behavioral health doctors kept me in check where I didn't buy anything illegal all through my 20s. At a certain point I needed amphetamine to quit smoking. Especially for my Wife. When I first met her she had contributed less than 50 bucks to SSI. We lived together for 7 years before we got married. The whole time I did a Pharmacy Tech diploma through school I got zyprexa, lithium, and ambien here. Ambien made me loose control. At this point I can say I would have stayed out of trouble so much better if at that point in my life if my Dad trusted with money to go to a Pharmacy and buy something like zquil w/ acetaminophen.

This placed literally saved my life. I had been rapidly declining and was on the verge of completely breaking when I learned of Laureate. I walked into the building and told them I was there seeking help and they were kind from minute one. From intake with Diego and Anthony to being taken over to the senior area (MacDonald 2, I think?) everyone was professional, very kind and caring. Dr. O'Meilia was an absolute blessing. He listened, he cared, he understood and he helped me find my way back. I stayed five days and had follow-up via outpatient that started quickly after inpatient discharge. Everyone there has been kind and supportive. I've returned to work (very light schedule) and am feeling well again and I attribute all of this to Laureate, Dr. O'Meilia, Dr. Lawrence, the patient technicians who were so incredibly helpful, patient and kind. You clearly get out what you put in..... I was in a bad spot when I arrived, I could argue I have more issues that Time Magazine. I finally hit rock bottom and checked myself in. I can tell you in the week I was there, I saw the difference in the people and there were 2 types. Those looking to gain something, and those just doing whatever they could to get out. Just as an observer, those who tried to work the program and get something out of it, did. Was everyone perfect, no, but its a mental hospital. It wasn't an amusement park. Very structured, I don't miss the meals, but I was fed, and looked after. I hope you never need it, but as someone who did, it really helped me in ways I never experienced. If I ever need it again, I know where to go.....here.

Everyone was so nice, I was not just treated as another number. I really appreciated the attention and answers to my questions. Do wish that my medication prescriptions to be filled at Walgreens was sent to my Walgreens at 51st and Memorial and that no one except myself was requested to pay for them. I understand the efficiency taken but was very upset about asking my cousin to (who had brought me) Pay for them.

I absolutely love Grant. It’s not perfect but you get what you give in that program. If you had a bad experience then you might need to change your mindset because that place is a paradise no bills no worries. Some of these other reviews seem very misleading. It is my understanding that this hospital shares a name with the hospital in a video game? So that’s why some of the pictures on reviews are a video game characters. Regardless, it is my understanding. Also that Brookhaven no longer has a ward for just drug use or mental health. All patients have brain injuries. Our nephew was at Brookhaven for several months getting treatment for his brain injury and struggles with acting out and my family has nothing but the best to say about their care. His therapist called us regularly and listened to what we had to say and his treatment really worked. He’s not living somewhat independently with no problems and appreciate medicine. I think some of these very old reviews need to be taken down

First, the people who take the calls will lie and be super sweet to get you to be there, I was told I can bring particular things, and I was told i would have access (limited) to internet. Regardless, it is still probably one of the best rehabs in Oklahoma. The food is great, everything is new and you will want for nothing. You are allowed to bring a game emulator as long as it doesn't connect to the internet. There are some kinks in things such as rehab groups and pedagogy for the groups. Suggestions here, please read through all of them: 1. Not calling the patients' relatives, or anyone for that matter, about financial things or billing. That was an embarrassing breach of confidentiality. I personally felt like my HIPPA rights for violated. There are particular patients (I can not say who) now looking at that as a possible class action. 2. Have cooking classes or allowing particular residence to help in the kitchen. This may be a skill to keep patients on track for when they get out. To my chagrin this was just a personal thing after being spoiled by the food. 3. I highly suggest workbooks for the group teachers to hand out. 4. a box for cigarette/tobacco/nicotine orders with a time to turn them in on it, so we don't have to hunt down techs. 5. Keep detox and residential patients separate. It's not fair for detox patients and residential patients. They are both going through different things. I was lucky I had a cool roommate going through detox, but that won't be the same for everyone. 6. The checkups by techs are constant and they are out of sync with eachother. The techs should be on the same page, especially at night. Techs came in literally 2 minutes apart more nights than I can count and the light coming on was exhausting. I was just waiting for the line to go down. I don't need a mommy or daddy; I'm an adult. I know what the schedule is for the meals. 7. This is really important; it may be best not to infantilize with bribes when it comes to classes. It would be easier to simply note by merit who is going and "in 'secret' and good faith" reward those who attend. I'm not saying that because I know I was good with my attendance but it is a worthy note for adults who are getting the most out of the services provided. I could add more but I am hoping to one day make an alumni appearance to encourage others to make the fantastic change in their lives by attending one of the best facilities in the US.

All the staff are super caring and very respectful they make sure that we are feeling ok and they do not try to push anything on you they let you make the decision on if you want your dose highered or lowered. They treat us like family and they are always excited to see you. If I ever missed a day when I was going they would be like I noticed that you weren't here yesterday is everything ok. I've been to the location on Harvard. It's good for what it is. If you're in crisis, or you have an addiction issue go to Harvard Avenue. If you are dual diagnosis or you have just mental health I 110% recommend this location. Everybody here is absolutely wonderful. However, I don't have children so I cannot attest to a family going here. However, if you are just an adult and you are married without children or your children are grown. Go here, it is absolutely wonderful. There's an intake coordinator named Marianne. She is great! I went there today. I've been having a very hard time the last couple of weeks with my mental health. I used to abuse substances and I haven't in almost 4 years but I've been having a very hard time recently with mental health and they got me through it the last couple of days. I might have have ended up in the psych ward for the first time in many years if it wasn't for this place. So again I cannot attest to the children part of their title. But as far as families. They are solid at this place. They care.

Love them. Started just over a year ago, they set me up with an amazing counselor and worked around my schedule to make appointments. My care team was amazing and everyone was super helpful. I stopped going a few months ago and they reached out making sure I was alright and offered to help get me set up again if I wanted. I don’t currently need their services but if I ever do I will definitely go back.

I have had nothing but a good experience since starting 3 years or so ago. Myself and my family have used several different services, all of which were positive experiences. Ive had a care tem and they are the best. They have kept track of me and reached out routinely. I'm very grateful for their services. I just can't rave enough. If ever there was an issue as they too are human and suffer life as we do. Who knows what the reason, but I always treated everyone with kindness ( I think) and showed them understanding, knowing it's a high pressure job with difficult people struggling with life. For all the many who have been a part of all of our treatments, we thank you. 🙏
