I cannot say enough good about Aware Recovery Care going back to February 2023. My first involvement was with their In-Home Detox team consisting of RN Jenn Aguire and nurses Tabitha and Krystal who came to my home for at least seven straight days to get me detoxed. This was critical to me as at the time I was unwilling to enter in residence detox having had a negative experience in the past. I credit them with saving my life. Their kind and compassionate care showed me that there was indeed some hope for me going forward. Following detox Aware counselors Sam Hayes and Amber Gelinas continued home visits working very closely with me in keeping me on the road to sobriety. I also received monthly assessments by an RN and a session with a Psychiatrist. After six months my insurance lapsed but thankfully I was eligible to enter their Alumni Program consisting of multiple Zoom meetings during the week with Aware professionals. In addition they also host various events in different locations with other Alumni of the program. You always feel that Aware is right there with you every step of the way. I could carry on much longer but let me finish by saying that I consider the Aware professionals I have dealt with to be more than just counselors but as friends as well. I am welcome back in the lives of my children and most importantly my Grandchildren. On November 24 I will be collecting my Nine Month sobriety chip at my AA Home Group. I credit a great deal of my success on Aware Recovery.

I had such a great experience with New Hampshire Hypnosis! I originally went because I have a very strong vasovagal reaction to blood and related things, which was something I was really worried about because I’m going into ultrasound. I wanted to work on this before starting my program, and I’m glad I decided to give hypnotherapy a try.
The whole experience was comfortable, welcoming, and much easier than I expected. I felt like I was really listened to, and the sessions gave me a completely different way of approaching something that had always caused such a strong reaction for me. I’ve already noticed a difference, and I feel much more confident going into the next step of my education.
I would absolutely recommend New Hampshire Hypnosis to anyone who is dealing with a fear or reaction that is getting in the way of something important to them. I’m so grateful I found them and decided to give this a chance!

I know that I will look back on this summer as being one of the most important, life-changing summers of my life!
I am so very grateful for the care, kindness and sincerity that I found At New Hampshire hypnosis. I am very grateful that David took the time to teach me and listen.
I admit that when I first started this journey, I did not fully believe in hypnosis working.
And even during the process, I was constantly amazed that I still wasn’t smoking!
Quitting smoking is difficult. But with Hypnosis on your side it’s like sitting down to a game of poker, knowing that you’ve got a handful of aces and you’re gonna win.

Where do I start with reviewing Avenues and my experience in it? My 90-day journey at Avenues Recovery completely transformed my life.
From the moment I arrived, I was met with warmth and genuine acceptance. Walking through those doors in the thick of addiction is terrifying, but the staff and community created an atmosphere centered entirely on healing and positive growth. Through every tough moment, the support never wavered. For the first time in years, I was guided to truly understand myself, confront the root of my struggles, and rebuild my life from the inside out.
The fellowship I found here showed me that I never have to navigate this path alone. Beyond the emotional and clinical care, Avenues helped me construct a concrete, well-defined recovery plan—not just to stay grounded while I was in the facility, but to keep moving forward and upward once I stepped back into the world.
Avenues helped me give myself the greatest gift possible: my recovery, my self-worth, and a future with purpose. I will carry lifelong gratitude for the people here and the foundation they helped me build. If you or someone you care about is looking for hope and a real way out, this place will help you find it.

Avenues Recovery saved my life! I don’t know where I would be without ever coming here. The staff, the facility, everything was amazing at Avenues Concord. I was 1000% supported in every way imaginable. Avenues Corcoran does recovery exceptionally well in all “avenues” lol. From playing volley and whale watching with the community here, to one on one sessions with my councilor and staff, everything hit for me. The atmosphere was welcoming and I’d tell anyone considering coming here to do it now rather than later! Your recovery matters and Avenues can help. Not only did they help me currently with my life struggles, they continue to give you the care and tools you need after treatment! I can call right now and they’d answer the phone! If you’re thinking about it, just do it already! You won’t regret it and you can finally live a real life where you are truly happy! Thank you for EVERYTHING Avenues you truly helped me become the person I’ve always wanted to be!

I'm over 5 years sober now and I've been working in the Substance Use Disorder field for over 3 years now. I'm actually creating an updated resource sheet, which is why I ended up on here haha. But I figured while Im here, I should post a review about my own experience.
I went to Granite House back around 2020. My experience was great, I definitely had some ups and downs however the downs were 100% self induced. Although the staff and the group of people I was within were all incredible- I just wasn't ready yet at that time. I went to about half a dozen treatment programs throughout my addiction, but to this day I tell people "if you have medicaid and you're looking to go to rehab in NH - Granite House the best place to go." It is my first choice for referral out of all the treatment centers in the state!
Its obviously been a while since I was there, 7 years or so, but I have had clients tell me about their recent experiences and they all say the same thing " Its like a big family. " I couldn't agree more!
Thank you Granite House for your continued dedication to those who are in need of a safe, caring and trustworthy treatment center during their most vulnerable days. New Hampshire has lost a lot of good, helpful, and solid places over the past several years but to see you still standing and providing people with treatment is truly deeply appreciated!!!
* If you're reading this - and are trying to figure out if this is the right choice... as someone who statistically was not supposed to and never should have made it out... my advice is ;
Ask yourself what do you have to loose by trying? By showing up and giving yourself the chance? Compared to ... if you stay..? And don't even give it a try? We do recover - It takes time and its not easy - but nothing in life worth having, ever comes easy! You are more than worth it, so take the chance 🫶

I think the staff does a great job at New Season Concord, N. H. I constantly hear people talking bad about the clinic, and just putting it down. My thoughts would be that more then likely they probably would never open such a place of there wasn't proof of it working. Or should I say, if the success rate wasn't there. But anyways, in all reality, it honestly is what you make of it. You basically figure out how you want your goal of sobriety to go, with the help needed from the Doctor, Nurses, and the rest of the staff. And at the end of the day, you just continue to reach for the stars and never give up! Thank You again,

I went to Antrim House about five months ago, and I can honestly say it changed my life. When I arrived, I was in a really unstable place and didn’t know what my future would look like. The staff treated me with respect, patience, and real compassion from day one.
What stood out most was how much they genuinely cared — not just about getting me through the program, but about helping me build a foundation for long-term sobriety. The structure, accountability, and support made a huge difference for me. I learned how to be honest, how to take responsibility, and how to start creating stability in my life.
Today I’m five months sober, and a big part of that is because of the tools and support I received there. If you’re on the fence about getting help, this place can truly be a turning point.
I’m grateful for the staff here and for everything Antrim House did for me.

The medical care at that hospital is excellent, and the best part is that you don't have to trave🚙l all the way to the city of Boston. I had both my children there; my second child had some complications, but the doctors♥️🫂 really helped the baby—with God's help🙏. Now they say they’re going to close the maternity😭 ward. It makes me so sad because there will be fewer hospitals in this area. You wonder why they take so much out of your paycheck for tax💵.. yet they shut down services—even though the government🙃 wants women to have more children. Who can understand them? Politicians are always chasing 🤷after our votes, but when it really counts, they don't think about people like us who pay tax💵 and need hospitals and healthcare services nearby—especially maternity care.My English isn't good, but I wanted to give my opinion.😓😟😥

As far as Christian recovery goes His mansion stands out above the others that I’ve seen/been to. There is a unique level of care and involvement from the staff that goes unprecedented in the recovery scene as a whole. If you want to get sober and actually live a life worth living, you gotta radically submit your beliefs and live for the Lord.

His Mansion is a work based, live-in program that teaches how to overcome addictions by fully relying on God. I commited myself to growth and change and I have been clean and sober since becoming a resident on November 20, 2023.
During the year, I learned to cast all my worries upon the Lord and rely on Him to give me strength. I faced the hurts of my past, rededicated my life to Christ, and was baptized in June of 2024. Before graduating in October of 2024, I learned patience and received joy that no one can take from me.
The staff and servant leaders truly care for each of the residents and pour out their love in all that they do. Their time and energy is truly dedicated to seeing broken lives be restored through the hope of Jesus Christ!

I personally was in the program and it changed my life not just physically mentally and emotionally but most importantly spiritually with my relationship with Christ. The program taught me great discipline how to follow God on the deeper in another level. I have great family restitution because of that program the staff are great. The food is phenomenal there a resident for his program so if there is an issue, they’re really good at addressing it. I’m now an ultra marathon runner because of the discipline that I learned from that program I trust in God with every step that I take every mile that I go never in my life would I think that I’d be closer with Christ and run miles that make no sense but the same man who had upon a cross, died and resurrected himself three days later is the same man that gives me the power to do hard endurance sports, but most importantly to be a follower of Christ I recommend it not just to people who are struggling with addiction, but people who are hurt it’s just known for helping people with addiction, but they taking anybody great program.

Adult & Teen Challenge NH has been a true blessing for my brother and our entire family. After struggling for years and trying other programs, this was the first place where we saw a real change. The staff is incredible, supportive, and truly cares. My brother is doing better than we’ve seen him in years and has been able to rebuild his life and his family relationships. We are so grateful for everything they’ve done!
