I Have been a patient at three previous clinics, the VA hosp in Pittsburgh, pyramid in altoona, and RHJ in Vandergrift, this is by far the place that has had the most heart. My experience with 3 counselors over 3 years was wonderful. It has been a much more personal experience, a give and take that was different from past places. With 2 of them they had been previous addicts, but all have had wisdom and encouragement. At other places it was just be me telling my life story and them bieng very gaurded about any personal details which made it less likely for me to be totally honest and not make progress in the counseling sessions. . The nurses are very kindly people as well and, unlike other clincs will accommodate me as a 40 year old man they will find another man to supervise the urinalysis instead of making me pee with a beautiful young nurse standing next to me, which I feel is inappropriate. I can say everyone is very friendly since a surly old bird of a nurse left 2 yrs ago. Maybe I just have an exceptionally good attitude or drank too much of the syzurp, but I feel if you put forth any effort in your recovery, these people will more than meet you halfway. You can improve yourself, pursue your dreams and goals or dream life away, at the Jtwn methadone clinic, you decide. everydays a blast! So come join the party today!

If you do what you're supposed to do, this could save your life. Don't listen to people who think methadone is a miracle cure, or think they should walk away without tapering properly. Get to a dose you feel comfortable at physically and then wait a while before slowly decreasing. This could be 6 months, 10 years, or a lifetime... .The Doctors,Nurses and my Previous to my current Counselor whom is Courtney , which I had the pass few years are a blessing.My Experience has always been positive.I went to a Clinic in New Jersey in 2006 after I was discharged from the Army, And I had a addiction to my pain medicine from a combat injury.The New Jersey clinic was a terrible experience, Drug infested, they literally sold narcotics and the take home bottles in front of the door.Noone was clean including many staff members.Medmark is 5 star location for opioid treatment.It works if you work it.And the staff there want you to succeed.They are what makes it 5 stars, because they care.Thank you to the great staff ,I have my Life back for a decade after being lost for the prior 10 years.

This VA outreach place did such an excellent job on the recent Covid shots. I got my first a few Saturdays ago then got my second on the 13th of March. They could not have been better in any way. Just started treatment there and everyone was very professional during my initial visit. The doctor was very detailed concerning my treatment as I was on pain pills for 10yrs. The oxycodone caused me to get gastroparesis where the stomach don't empty resulting in a major operation in my stomach. My visit with Crossroads is getting me on track to be opioid free.

I have been through partial 4 days a week currently in IOP there. The counselors are great if you are actually trying to help yourself. If you screw around though it’s a different story. Don’t let the people at the front desk scare you away, they aren’t the most pleasant to deal with but you never have to talk to them accept when you first signing up for your evaluation. I’ve had classes with counselors Kristen, Jamie, Barb, Sarah Alex and Shawn and all of them are very experienced and educated in what they do. This place helped me fix my life.

Good nursing and doctor staff, I have a good experience when I go unless it gets really busy and it has sometimes been a longer wait time. Best to arrive at your scheduled appointment times cause they run every 15 min for appointment times and you shouldn't have a long wait unless you're early.

I thank God for Peniel Ministries,a program that dramatically changed my life! I was one of many who was strung out on crack cocain. The teaching and counseling I received from Dr. Marion Spellman, the staff and councilors,the Bible based teaching that I received changed me Spiritually,physically, I was able to return home to New York fully recovered and drug free and have not touched drugs of any kind since. I was at a Susan’s place, and I was there for almost 8 months and for what I can say and what I’ve seen I love it there.. they have helped me become to beautiful bright young lady I am and I’m so grateful that I was put into Susan’s place because without the help of Morgan, Allison and Josh and the rest of the people I had with me through my journey I don’t know where I would be right now. But I am so glad that they helped me and showed me what it was like to be different from myself when I was on the out’s then inside.

As a resident who has discharged today I would like the deeply say thank you. Yes adelphoi did get annoying sometimes and seem frustrating, the lessons I have learned there, the lessons everyone learns their won't ever compare. Adelphoi has helped me renew myself and become the best version of myself I never thought I had in me. Not all times is being sent away going to be great and hollyjolly but what you can do is make the best of that situation. That place can really open your eyes to many things, you have to just internalize it. So if your a parent or a youth wonder if its a place to get help, I would say yes. Adelphoi has never gaven up on me or many people in their community but they did start a new life for them to change their ways. So adelphoi thank you , thank you for everything!
