My Journey to this point has consisted of 3 rehabs(not court ordered), 2 DUIs, as well as LOTS of good times, lots of travel, the best Friends and Family! A valuable life worth living! A true Alcoholic that should never ever hold or pick up a drink! Unfortunately now I'm plagued with Kidney and Liver Disease. Initially the mere thought of having a 3 hour meeting with a Therapist and small group was the LAST thing in my Vision. However I need this service for 3 months to possibly get on the Kidney Transplant List. I have grown to truly enjoy Kyle's IOP group. I look forward to it and miss it on Wednesdays and Fridays. Kyle has opened my eyes and nudged me to attend meetings. My answer turned from NO thank you, to I will give AA meetings a go. Keep in mind that I have been in and out of the Program for 20+ years. Guess what? I am enjoying AA meetings now! I dreaded them before. I am grateful to Kyle and his group for pushing me to my next step in Recovery. Such a blessing!! I would highly recommend Key Recovery and Kyle! -Juanita S.

I had come and make a review. I was in distress and full of Anxiety (that I diagnosed myself with lol) trying to find my son an appointment in order for him to be discharged. I googled several places who did not accept his insurance. I felt defeated and said a prayer than I googled some more and found Provive Wellness. Not only was Tommy very knowledgeable, patient, and reached out to the social worker right away. My son was scheduled in no time. This is what I call superb customer service. And the best part of all I have no out of pocket cost, everything is covered by the insurance.

Victory Bay seems to be a great spot for those in search of a place to start their recovery process. They have hooked me up with all types of resources to help me start my journey. The group meetings are always insightful, the staff are always supportive, and they all seem to be there because they want to help all of the members get through these difficult times in whatever way they need, because recovery is a different process for each individual. I would highly or un-highly (pun intended) recommend seeking treatment here if you are looking to start your own recovery journey 🤙

All In Solutions is a special place that sets itself apart from other treatment centers in the industry. I gained a wealth of benefits from working with my counselor awesome Rashini, who always kept a positive attitude and encouraged real growth in many aspects of my life. Groups with Mark, Chris, Kristen, Tom, Haylee (my incredible case manager) were all extremely beneficial and truly made All-In Solutions stand apart from other drug and alcohol treatments I've been to. My medical team, Ross and Leslie were amazing, they attentively listened to me and got me hooked up with a mental health regimen that has literally changed my life for the better. From housing Abe, Justin, Ray, Johnny, Jeff, Schmitty, Nick, Edwin, Ash all went out of their way to make my home away from home as comfortable as possible. Erica T. And Kristen greeted me with a smile on their faces and were shoulders to lean during times of stress. Kristen's nutrition classes were eye opening and have made a huge difference in the way I take care of myself (lost 25 pounds of fat since my intake and generally eat healthier and am more active). Lauren G and Miranda S coordinated activities that kept my time here fun and fresh. Kat made my intake a breeze and her caring attitude and love for our people made me feel welcome! Mark and Chris's 12 Step groups are the meat and potosi of what sets this place apart. Because of them i have a new perspective on recovery that I never received from any facility I've been to in the past. The people who work here are all made this experience extremely special and I will never forget them. You can truly tell that they care. I could go on but I think its important to convey what Ive gained through this program, a new relationship with my family and loved ones, including my daughter. I have a program of recovery that I work daily, a sponsor, a recovery support network and most importantly a relationship with a loving and caring higher power who guides me in this new life. None of these things would be possible without the help of those mentioned above and more, they held my hand through some of the darkest times and I cannot wait to experience what this new life has in store for me. Thank you All In Solutions, you helped me salvage this wonderful adventure we call life from the gutter, you will forever be in my heart 🖤🖤🖤

I cannot speak highly enough of Ms. Karen and the positive impact she has had on my life. From our very first session, she created a safe, welcoming, and non-judgmental space that allowed me to open up and truly begin the process of healing. Her empathy, insight, and professionalism are unmatched. Ms. Karen listens deeply, asks thoughtful questions, and provides guidance that feels both compassionate and practical. She’s helped me gain clarity, build healthier coping strategies, and better understand myself on a deeper level. I always leave our sessions feeling heard, empowered, and supported. If you’re looking for a therapist who is genuinely invested in your well-being and personal growth, I wholeheartedly recommend Ms. Karen. She’s a truly gifted professional who brings warmth, wisdom, and care into every session.

I can’t say enough good things about our house manager, Val. She truly went above and beyond every single day to make sure we were cared for and supported. Her dedication, patience, and compassion never went unnoticed. She didn’t just do her job—she genuinely cared, and you could feel it in everything she did. Whether it was checking in on us individually, handling things behind the scenes, or just being there with a kind word or a listening ear, she made a real difference in our lives. I am a client at the moment, I am going to be honest with you and you can do whatever you want to with the information, I have been on methadone for about 21 years now and I have not ever had been blessed with my take home bottles for good condition and being sober, I am not sure what they do that is so much better than any other clinics I have been blessed to have been saved by. I think the difference is that you are not there to get up with all of your get high buddies and if you do bring them on they'll be better than they came

Amazing staff who make sure you’re are well taken care of and comfortable. The chef made incredible food for every meal and stocked the fridge every day with fresh food that we could eat at anytime as well. They also kept the freezer stocked with ice cream and water ice. The facility is cozy and kept very clean. There is a smart tv in every room as well as in the lounge/common area which is set up like a living room. I found the groups helpful. There are 3 hour long groups you can attend but don’t have to and either an AA or NA speakers that comes every night for an hour long meeting. I liked that Sunrise is a smaller facility, having room for about 20 patients. This made it easier to open up and share. I went to sunrise 6/7 for the first time ever and I don’t regret a single thing about. Never been to detox before but the people who work there actually care about you and want you to get better. It only works if you are ready though. The food was amazing everyday, the counselors are there to help you, and the doctors/nurses want what’s best for you. I will 100% be going back there one day to speak to the patients to show them that recovery is possible. They also help you with finding resources after being discharged. I was recommended tk a doctor for the sublocade shot and had it done within two weeks of leaving sunrise. It’s a smaller operation but I found it to be better.

It is how anything is in life you will only get out of it what you put in to it and that being said I got more than words can say out of it, but that is because I chose to make it that way. I want to thank Maryville and all the cit's / counslers there you guys have saved my life and I will forever be thankful to you all. Big shout out to a few people who deserve honorable mentions as they went above and beyond for me and everyone around them. I spent a little over a month there. It wasn't under the best circumstances, and I was scared, nervous, and unsure about everything that was happening to me. Everyone that I dealt with there was incredibly kind, sympathetic, helpful, reassuring, and professional. The staff there made what could have been a very stressful and trying time bearable and easy to go through. They absolutely deserve these 5 stars.

I signed up for outpatient treatment and the staff was very friendly very helpful and my therapistMr. Derek) a good dude, very understanding never looked down on me because of my alcohol and powdered cocaine addiction. Unfortunately, my addictions got the best of me and I relapsed and didn't return.I was so ashamed of myself I didn't want to show my face and went back to boozing and now thankfully I'm finally getting help that I need. I was admitted to Jefferson Hospital suffering from severe alcohol withdrawal syndrome, borderline experiencing auditory hallucinations. I was also suffering from gait abnormality and balance and coordination issues so they transferred me to Wyndmoor Hills for Physical therapy and once I'm discharged well before I'm discharged, I'll pick a rehab facility for inpatient treatment.Wish me luck.

I myself had an amazing experience at Gaudenzia from the moment I walked in the door everyone was very welcoming and extremely concerned for my overall well being not just my detox but also my mental state seeing that detoxing from Fentanyl and opiates takes a definite toll on my mental health as well. I found ALL the nurses to be extremely efficient and very well trained and the nurses at Gaudenzia actually really cared about how I was feeling mentally, emotionally and physically and took the time to talk to me about how I was feeling and if I was feeling safe and cared for in their family setting. My Social worker was Ms. Carnita Washington and when I was asked NOT TOLD to go and speak with her I was still experiencing withdrawal seeing it was only my second day and after sitting and talking with her I felt emotionally and physically SO much better! I've sat with many Social workers and have never felt that even one cared at all about what I was going through until a few seconds into speaking with Ms. Washington, she really cared and was very encouraging about my detox and my recovery.. The house managers were amazing as well! Each one took the time to make sure I was eating and getting on well and when I wasn't feeling confident about myself and my recovery they could just tell and took their time to talk with me and to remind me that I do have the strength to continue with what I started. I felt not only cared for but actually loved, yes I said loved! When no other facility would take me they did and all I had to do was ring the bell at the front door, oh and it was 3 am when they welcomed me in and fed me and made sure I had everything that I needed ❤️ made me very well aware of my rights as a client (which had never happened before) and after my completion staff personally walked me out, hugged me and told me that they're there if I needed them again and again ❤️ Between their professionalism and real concern and care I give Gaudenzia a five star review! I've had a rough go through addiction and have been to many detox facilities throughout the last 20 plus years and can honestly say that I found Gaudenzia to be the absolute best! If it's either you or a loved one who wants to detox and get their life back this is the place to find firm grounding into recovery! YOU can do it, you'd be very surprised to find out just how strong you really are when you have amazing people in your life. All you need to do is dig deep and find yourself again, you're still in there, I promise you ❤️ Gaudenzia will personally help you in every way, just go and do it! I cannot thank them all enough for helping me reclaim my life❤️

Blueview Recovery offers far more than just clinical services—they offer hope. Their PHP program is ideal for individuals needing structure without full-time inpatient care. I’ve seen the difference their addiction treatment makes, especially for those looking for a rehab near Philadelphia.

I love Maryville! This is where I got clean from heroin. I was a user for 20 sum years and never thought I would be able to make it a day without it. All you need to want to do is try, go even if it's just for detox. You could always stay longer, just like I did. The counselors there are cool as hell. The nurses are great and they never let you feel uncomfortable. The food there is great as well. I highly recommend you going there. I'm 9months 7 days clean and I love it. All thanks to Maryville. Thank you Bianca!l Bianca at Maryville Turnersville.. There is so many positive things to say about her as a counselor.. Caring and thoughtful is what first comes to mind. Very thoughtful and caring. Bianca engaged clients to open up and say what’s on their minds, even if they sometimes don’t open up, she seemed to be able to make everyone feel comfortable enough to open up and express how they’re feeling. Very positive feedback. I have heard Bianca give so many clients resources for whatever they need. Thank you much for being apart of my recovery Bianca!! The resources that you have given me and other clients have made us move forward in such a positive way I can’t even put into words of how much gratitude I have for your sessions.

Starting Point is an alcohol and drug rehab center for adults in Haddon Township, New Jersey. They provide mental health and addiction recovery services through outpatient programs including education, referrals and community resources. Something unique about this facility is that their recovery treatment is based on a series of support group meeti
Rethinking the Role of Traditional Recovery Programs For years, Starting Point has primarily served as a conduit for channeling donations and clients into its system—often labeling individuals for life without providing a genuine path toward recovery. This mirrors a troubling pattern seen in parts of the medical industry, where the focus is less on healing and more on sustaining business operations. After working with Vince D. for over three decades, it’s become evident that the organization’s true priority has been extracting value from clients—whether through their time, financial contributions, or billable services. As a nonprofit, conversations tend to center around what's considered the "standard of care," a framework that may protect from liability but falls short of fostering real, individualized growth. Much like hospital systems that pressure doctors to bill every possible insurance code to appease accountants—or risk termination—this model emphasizes financial survival over human transformation. Vince, now more than 20 years past his expected retirement, seems more invested in building intergenerational wealth than in helping clients reach sustainable healing or independence. Your well-being often becomes secondary to what you can offer the organization. There Are Alternatives—And They're Empowering You have the power to pursue meaningful, self-directed growth. Explore AI-powered therapy platforms and free online tools designed to build emotional resilience, self-discipline, and life skills. These resources often deliver what traditional models fail to: true empowerment and lasting change. For motivation and mindset development, turn to the timeless teachings of Jim Rohn—available for free on YouTube. He was the mentor behind Tony Robbins’ early success, offering foundational insights without the inflated costs and marketing hype. Consider reading or watching "The Pleasure Trap" by Dr. Doug Lisle, which explores the psychology of behavior change and the hidden forces shaping your decisions. It’s a must-read for anyone seeking long-term transformation. If you're currently under psychiatric care, be informed: many psychiatric medications are known to blunt emotional range and clarity—sometimes referred to as a "chemical lobotomy." Always weigh the risks and benefits carefully and seek second opinions when needed. Lastly, examine how nutrition impacts both mental and physical health. Documentaries like "The Game Changers" highlight the benefits of a plant-based diet and its potential to enhance energy, mood, and overall well-being. The path to recovery doesn't need to be paved with dependency. You deserve tools, not just treatment—growth, not just management.

Angela Baxter is the single greatest asset this facility has on hand. She is the most personable, down to Earth, and overall amazing therapist I've ever had the pleasure of working with, and I've been in and out of therapy like people are in and out of their local Wawa (s). She has a unique ability to put her clients at ease with humor. She utilizes laughter and good vibes to ensure that everyone she works with feels safe and at home. Her talents know no bounds. Have you ever seen her type? Roadrunner, take note 📝 I cannot say enough good about this saintly woman. Before I worked with her, I was lost. After I worked with Angela Baxter, I was found. Go to this place just for her alone. - Ryan Hosey I'm proud to say I'm a former client of Mrs. Baxter's.

I can't say enough good things about New Horizons. They genuinely care about their patients and foster an incredible environment that makes a difficult process way more enjoyable (if that's even possible). I was extremely nervous and hesitant opening up throughout my recovery journey, but NH made those fears go away almost immediately, especially after meeting the entire staff and other clients. I'm not usually one to post reviews, but I wanted to share my experience in case you or your loved one are struggling with addiction/mental health and are looking for a place to heal/grow. Thank you to New Horizons and everyone I have met along the way, and thank you for reading. :)
