I have been involved over 10 years very pleased with all the staff very easy-going willing to work with you involving payment matters. Definitely will get you headed in the right direction. Yes I would recommend a friend. Take note nobody can offer their services for free. So if you are planning their services make sure you can afford their treatment or have the proper insurance.

The staff are all pretty friendly. Definitely a place I would recommend to a friend or family member. Not what I was expecting at all!

I've been there years ago and went back to the pain clinic after a few months because of the cost.That's the only kicker.If I could get it for free or a discount it would be great.I have a great Counselor Casey and hope everyone that gos there has a good time.I just wish I was poor so I could get it for free like most people.Any suggestion would help.take care.Jim Getz

My therapist is amazing. I have been to several other places and have not been able to find anyone who understands me, they always just want me to take medication and they just listen to what my family tells them. I am normal and I have normal feelings. I am not over sensitive or neurotic.

I have such an amazing counselor, when I leave after speaking with Gavin I feel 99% better and our meeting will carry me through the week till I get to see him again and we tackle whatever was affecting me that week!!!I was so nervous the 1st time I came in to talk but he made me feel so comfortable and he seems to actually care!!So thank you Gavin I have been a real support for me and I appreciate it so much!!!Till Thursday u all have a great week!

We have been coming to Dr. Mather & Karen for many years. They always listen and provide professional care.

I m not saying that the whole place is bad but my experience there wasn t very good. It might ve been my fault but I didn t feel like it was. I didn t feel comfortable in my counselor was very judgmental. I don t know how I was supposed to open up and tell my problems to a counselor that was judging me, but I did find somewhere to go that didn t judge me so just be careful when you do go there and pick your person carefully.

I ve been working with Dr Mathurs for the past few years to address lately discovered mental health concerns. I ve found that Dr. M and his staff have been attentive, empathic and supportive throughout the years. Coming from a strict religious background it is such a relief to be in a nonjudgmental environment addressing real MH symptoms previously unknown and untreated from childhood.This industry is a Godsend and needs to be celebrated. Culture, religion, socioeconomic status or political views should never influence how a person is treated or viewed. .Thank you and keep up the good work.

Over 15 years ago, my husband and I were faced with what would turn out to be one of the most important choices in our lives. When new regulations drastically reduced availability to oxycodone, our options seemed bleak. I absolutely love the staff here. They do not get enough credit for what they go through. They deal with a lot, but they are always so kind, hart warming, and helpful. They truly care if you need extra help with resources, and Dr. Jen is the best. I've been to a few of the crossroad clinics and many of them are great, but this is my favorite. They don't judge if you just need help. If you are struggling and need help with your addiction, this is the place to go. If you aren't ready to wean off, the doctor will not even think about forcing you to. My life is very chaotic at times and I can say, I've never felt more safe in my recovery than at crossroads with the staff and Dr. Jen.

Thank you for finally giving me my real father. Greg Enold was such an amazing man. I am forever grateful for you giving him the tools to better himself and find god. Even though his life was cut short you will never understand how grateful and thankful I am for none of you ever giving up on him.

For many years,decades in fact, I've heard alot about Teen Challenge. I've heard how wonderful and successful they are with people both young and old who are struggling with alcoholism and drug addiction, where traditional treatment centers and 12 step programs failed these people Teen Challenge successfully turned their lives around with this totally and complete Faith Based approach. Clients/Residents are encouraged to completely stay away from all secular activities and music and totally focus on the Jesus, the Bible, Church, Faith, Prayer and everything else associated with dedication to a Christian way of life. I've spoken to several people in the past who have successfully completed the Teen Challenge Program and they all said that their lives were completely turned around leaving alcohol, drugs, homelessness and crime behind them and now today, still devoted to Christianity are living productive and fulfilling lives.

She has a very warm and bubbly personality which is very helpful especially when just calling a new place can be stressful. The entire staff is very helpful and friendly and I recommend this company to those in need.

Hello back in 2012 this facility was amazing they cared and they helped with everything the rooms where nice food was great and staff was great some had attitude but it was like what I ve been reading in these reviews I am so hurt that this facility has turned into this is a disappointment to me this place saved my life I read a lot of the reviews and man everyone is saying the same things I m going to pray for this place and the people who need this help it s not fair at all wow I am shocked and sad man

Great Staff that truly cares. They have a continuum of care including detox, inpatient/residential, intensive outpatient and aftercare.

Going on 3 years of being sober thanks to the staff at Neil Kennedy. I was a junkie for 8 years before entering the program. Now I'm living good and drug free. They gave me the mind tools I needed to get off and stay off the heroin. Thank you to everyone there.

This place honestly saved my life!

I was a resident at highland house from December 23rd 2019 - June 1st 2020 I must say this place is awesome compared to other half way house's. I came to highland house not knowing what to expect, because it was a new area that I have never been to. This place has slot of things to offer but most importantly they give you multiple opportunity at different resources and my advice to anyone who may decide to go to this place is take advantage of every resource that you can it really is a stepping stone to changing your life around if I ever need to go back to a half way house I would most certainly choose highland house again the staff is amazing and went out of their way to accommodate any needs we may needed if they were able to. Highland house saved my life why not let it save yours too.

I had a amazing experience at this house. Learned so much and accomplished a lot being here. The staff are great and helpful, excellent environment to grow in. I appreciate everything the highland house has done for me. Mario Joseph

I see a therapist and his name is Alex(Every one goes by first names) and he has made me more outspoken. I'm am a really shy person when it comes to people I don't know.I also have a psychiatrist named Fabian, and compared to the psychiatrists I had before he is really good. He actually listens to me and is very understanding. He doesn't give me just any medicine. He takes his job seriously and I love that because I had doctor that didn't care about his job and prescribed me the wrong meds and refused to change it once I told him I don't feel like myself taking these medications.

I would rather go to Coleman s then anywhere else because at least they help with your problems or anything you need they are there to help

My experience at Preferred Care Counseling has been truly life-changing. I had been through three other therapists before discovering Preferred Care. They have top-notch practitioners who CARE. I recommend them to anyone I talk to when it comes up in conversation. Ru and Larry are amazing!!!

My therapist has been insightful, helpful, and great at helping me set goals for myself, and deal with both long term and more urgent issues.

I spent a few years in counseling with Joe. It was one of the best decisions I ever made. I see there are several 1 star reviews and I am sure they have valid complaints, but I don t believe that s a good representation of this institution. I know there are many people they have helped. Often times people only point out the bad you do while the good goes unnoticed. I have highly recommended this place to my family and friends. You always have to be careful about who you trust. But I believe this is good place to look for help.

It's been years but when I got out of a State hospital they saw me at the 5 th floor and came to Edison manor nursing home for 10 years had a lot of up and down moment but I'm making it's ty all for being there for me a lot of people count on you

Unfortunately you get what you get with state insurance. We are just numbers in the grand scheme of things and that s just how it works in America. You need quality health insurance or have to pay out of pocket for quality healthcare. Honestly, When I lived in CT the state healthcare wasn t bad but PA is a joke. With all that being said, I feel for the people on here that have had terrible experiences bc i have as well my whole life trying to find a therapist that s right for me. Maybe I m just lucky but I have miss Palmer as a therapist and she is great. She listens, gives me great food for thought every time I leave , I don t have a single complaint. She doesn t try to force medication on me, she s very intelligent and she honestly helps me put the pieces together that rattle around in my head all day with my neurotic thinking and self analysis. I am grateful to have her unbiased support in my life right now and I don t wake up in the morning and dread my appointment.i feel comfortable , seen and heard. There are good ones out there, just have to keep trying til you find one I guess.

Upon visiting my loved one they were happy and had a smile on their face which I had not seen in quite some time. My loved one was not nervous and actually feared they would have to leave there. The other houseguest all appear to be happy and taken care of. Very relaxed atmosphere and I finally felt that my loved one was in a safe loving place after two other homes
