We've been foster parents with this office for 6 years so far. We've had amazing communication and support by every worker we've had. Even when we end up working with someone from another office (like after hours emergency), they're supportive and helpful. There have been numerous times we've needed immediate support with a child in our care and we know they will respond quickly, if not immediately, and support us with whatever we need until we feel secure in the situation. They know us better than we know ourselves sometimes and are a blessing to us in our fostering journey. We would recommend Kidspeace without question.

The AMAZING staff at the Caron Foundation facility in Del Ray Beach truly saved my sons life. As of tomorrow, he will have been sober for one full year!! The treatment at Caron surpassed all of his and my expectations. He had been in several rehabs over many years, and they would assist in helping him to get sober but after 15 to 30 days, out he went. The reasons for his continued addiction was never addressed. At Caron, the program they offer is life changing. Not only did they help get him sober but FINALLY the reasons behind the addiction were brought out front and center. The staff's ability to guide and push when needed to help get at the root of the origin of his addiction was our answer. We know he will struggle each day but going from where he was, on the street, homeless, to where he is now, brought him back to his family. We truly went years not having the knowledge to help. The staff at Caron , not only helped my son , but helped me. We went to visit him a few times while he was in treatment and the staff were beyond accommodating, along with their kindness and compassion for what they do, with each patient. Caron is an outstanding place for substance recovery as well as mental health recovery. The staff was knowledgeable, professional and I truly felt they cared for my well being. (This is a long one) I’ve had my fair share of therapists before and each time it was a crash and burn situation. It never worked out for me, I always felt like it was too much. I pushed it off until it smacked me in the face. I can genuinely say EVERY SINGLE STAFF MEMBER DOWN TO THE RECEPTIONISTS ( especially Kaela, dr. Nelson, Greg & Nicole for me) welcomed me with opened arms at a time I needed it most. I never not once felt judged nor put down. I was held accountable each step of the way and able to express myself. Each one of them taught me a lot about my triggers, my attachment styles, my anger, the work I had to put in on my self and just the really understanding and loving the overall person I am. They taught me to identify why I was using bad habits to cope with my feelings.
I really don’t have the words to explain how much they have helped me. If so I would be here all day. Let me try to sum it up.
I had never been to therapy long term(some therapists just wouldn’t call back). I had never been on medication for my mental health(I would gas light myself and create bad habits to cope). I was in therapy for about a year and a half with kaela, Greg and dr Nelson. Some days I wish I had never left(I moved out the state). Dr. Nelson always listened to me, he helped me understand what was going on mentally. During my time he worked with me to find medications that helped me function daily. It wasn’t easy but he never gave up and he never pushed me to take anything I didn’t like or want to be on. Greg helped me to look within. He taught me not to bottle up my emotions and how to express what I’m feeling in a better way than I was. I have to give my props to Kaela for dealing with me the longest tho. Instantly I clicked with her. She really sets the bar high when it comes to a therapist for me. She listened to me yap on and on and she didn’t make me feel like I was a burden with my weekly visits. I actually looked forward to going to my visits.. even when I went back on my word. She didn’t make me feel ashamed of myself(No one there did) She always remembered everything, even when I didn’t. She made me hold myself accountable for my actions, as she did also. I loved that about her most. She didn’t let me slip. She helped me realize why I was doing certain things or why I was reacting the way I would and what they could’ve stemmed from. Other therapists didn’t do what they did for me mentally, even spiritually. Everyone at Caron is like a family to me at this point. I recommend everyone to come to Caron. All my friends, family, strangers. They made me realize therapy and asking for help wasn’t bad after all. If you needed a sign. This is it.

They're awesome. They are very organized for how busy they are, and they remembered me after one visit.

The first time I called I immediately got set up on a telehealth appointment and had medication sent to pharmacy same day. Every in-person appointment since then has been smooth. No problems ever.

Completing inpatient on the hill was a great experience. However, being at the outpatient building has been the best experience for me this far in my recovery.The staff is welcoming, understanding, and professional at all times. I have been attending regular groups since September, 2021. My groups consisted of ways to cope with my Mental Health and Addiction struggles.
The outpatient Supervisior, Erin L. assisted me in helping a family member into treatment. Her compassion to help others Is top priority. Her leadership with staff and clients are among the best. She is an authentic version of Servant Leadership.
The staff is organized and professional at all times. The therapists care Care for their clients. Every time I have interacted with the staff has been pleasant. They are easy to talk to about anything. They will assist you with anything you need. From the front desk to transportation they all should be recognized for their dedication.

I am a 2021 graduate. Before coming to Teen Challenge, I was homeless on the streets of Philadelphia. I came here for recovery, but I got a new life instead. It sounds weird to say about my time in rehab, but it was one of the best years of my life. After graduating, I interned here, eventually becoming a staff member. I wanted to work here because of what I saw in the staff as a student, their love for God and people, and servanthood. I wanted to bring that same love and servanthood to people who are sick and suffering, like they did for me. It is not just a job but a calling. I would recommend PAATC to anyone struggling with addiction, and I am eternally grateful to God for using it to give me a life and a purpose.

Dr. Jennifer Dailey (the Allentown VA Chiropractor) is absolutely THE BEST! I have seen over a dozen chiropractors since my service injury in 2012 and she is undoubtedly the one that has helped me regain quality of life, and reduce most of my pain. Dr. Dailey dug deep into my injuries with proper technique, she thinks outside the box to find solutions, she never cuts a corner when providing my adjustment, and she has supported me with at home tips and tricks to continue my healing. I used to have pain just walking and simply existing in my daily life, but because of her and her team, I am now able to become more active, have significantly less pain, and sleep uninterrupted throughout the night.
If you are a veteran in pain, do yourself a favor and ask for her. If you are an employee or supervisor at the VA, go shake her hand because she deserves it.

I had 15 sessions with Ana. She really knows what she is doing. She gave me some exercises I could use when my anxiety starts getting really bad. I am so happy to say that they really work. There was an problem someone else was having and it escalated where this man was yelling at the admin team. It made me feel so uncomfortable and they had no security. The one security guy that was working down stairs clearly wouldnt have been able to help. I hope they fix that issue.

I cannot even begin to express how phenomenal this office is. I’m honestly grateful that I didn’t look at the reviews until after my intake appointment, because I probably would have avoided the office entirely based on what others have said, and that would have been such a mistake.
I understand that people are more likely to post reviews when they’ve had a bad experience, but the feedback here is not an accurate reflection of this office at all. Every interaction I’ve had has been consistently pleasant, respectful, and professional. From the front desk staff to medical records, the nurses, therapists, and doctors. Everyone has been incredibly kind and genuinely committed to helping.
I recently had to take a hiatus from work to focus on my mental health, and this office has truly been a lifesaver. They were able to get me in for treatment two months sooner than any other place I contacted. They also helped me navigate my FMLA leave and completed all the necessary paperwork without hesitation. Whenever I’ve reached out, they’ve responded quickly, compassionately, and with real care.
I genuinely can’t recommend them enough. My experience has been overwhelmingly positive, and I’m deeply grateful for the support they’ve given me.

I loved it here n trust me when I first got here I wanted to leave so bad when I finished detox and went to the inpatient side I was trying to get other women to stat after detox, this placed saved my life and let me know it's possible! Dr kim sucks at listening, diagnosing, and scheduling. This man has cancelled more than 2 appointments just so he could go on vacation or have the day off and forget about his patients. I’ve been seeing him for over 5 years and this just really pissed me off

I love my providers, Doreen Storz (physician assistant) and Nichole (therapist). They are amazing and caring. I previously saw Allison (therapist) in January until she transferred me to Nichole in February. Only downside is the practice doesn’t use an EHR patient portal for patients to access their health information. Highly recommend this practice.

I’m not sure how to adequately put into words how thankful I am for this school. My son was diagnosed with autism in December 2023. To say I was scared and clueless, would be an understatement. Daycare couldn’t handle him and I was so lost. When I found First Children’s Services, it was as if the clouds parted to let the sun shine through. New Orefield facility is far, but there is a bus 5 out of 6 days and Sunday is closed so they supply a take home on Saturday as long as you have a lockbox.
The new facility is a HUGE step up! It's very clean, big and beautiful! All new staff seem amazing and the few older staff who stuck around were always amazing. This is the place you want to be if you're ready to get your life back. Don't forget 1 second think it's going to be easy though...

My son is in the federal program at Abraxas. His staff all treat him more than fair and I get the impression that all of the staff genuinely care about their role in my sons treatment. I am very thankful for all of the people at this facility and how well they take care of him and work with him. I have seen the “other side” of other programs and I’ll just say, I sleep much better at night knowing he is at ABRAXAS. I live over a 20 hour drive away from PA, so it’s good to know my son is in good hands. My son has mentioned a few names that I can’t remember, but I want to particularly thank Mr. Straubel and Mr. Burks. Thank you ABRAXAS.

Mary my sons threapist is the best. They both connect wonderfully and my son enjoys spending time one on one with his counselor. She always is helpful and friendly and is patient with my son. There’s always fun activities to do there that she does!
