I didn't want to go at first, I read the reviews here, on day 3 I was finally settled in and knew I couldn't have been at a better place. The staff is exceptional!! It is a very intense program, but it's wonderful. Classes are 7 days a week, 8am-7pm, lots of breaks in between, plus lunch and dinner breaks. The food was exceptional! You definitely will not go hungry here!! When it was my day to go, part of me didn't want to leave, I had made great friends there and this place had become my safe place. I highly recommend this place to anyone needing help. This place will save your life if you let them!! Edit to add, 6 months post treatment, still sober (237 days). My brother is now a resident there, he's on day 4 today. This place is amazing!! Update: 09/09/25, still sober!! 802 days!! Still recommending this place to people!!! I have been admitted several times with dangerously low blood sugar with seizures and have been in the ICU many times. Exceptional care in the ER, ICU and even in the regular rooms. I was just there this past weekend. I drove myself from Cabot with severe chest pains, dizziness and shortness of breath ECT... (The nurse and Dr. Got on to me for doing that) I wasn't sure how to get to the ER and I accidentally went to the front of the hospital. There was an amazing young lady taking out a patient... her name was Stephanie she saw me and the condition I was in put me in a wheelchair and rushed me to the ER. I received excellent care in the ER. I was admitted and still received excellent care in my room. The aids and nurses we're all amazing, I can't think them enough! I didn't see anyone from housekeeping but since it was Saturday to Sunday they may have been off. Thank you all and God bless! My therapist was really good to me and I would suggest anyone to go here if given the chance; I still talk to the guys that were in my cluster even though a couple of them passed away since we graduated. This place has had such a positive impact on me. The staff there are absolutely amazing and care for you so deeply. They do their best to understand where you are at. This program has helped me get into healthy routines like working out daily, taking care of my puppy, And having a healthy schedule in general! I have zero bad things to say about this place. I was having a lot of trouble or with withdrawal symptoms and wanted to make sure I was tapering the correct way. I met with Brian a couple times and he was very nice. The only negative I have is he did a drug test on me without disclosing that I would get a bill. Now I have a $180 bill to test for drugs that I was prescribed. It would have been nice if the fact that I would have to pay so much for a drug test was disclosed before taking it, and if I had been given an option to opt out. Meagan Jackson 1 year ago I would just like to share my experience about Natural State and the guy Michael who manages the sober living houses. If it was not for him my son would be dead. He told me from the beginning that if my son was willing to go to any lengths to change his life then he would have a chance. I almost enabled my son to his grave by not listening to Michael and taking his suggestions. Today my son has a little over a year sober and is a new person. He also suggested that I go to Alanon meetings which I have been for a year and the relief that I get from these meetings are priceless. Today though, I had an appointment and the hospital was very dirty. I was disappointed. Paper towel all over the floor in the bathroom. Bath floors and hallways very filthy. The elevator doors had a dried liquid spilled all over. Trash cans were full everywhere. The AC vent register was hanging out of the drop ceiling. (Neurology Rest-room) Something beeping in there cause out of product. Mirrors were filthy. Truly disheartening. It’s an old building but generally clean. It was obvious that she felt the only difference between her and us was that she had the keys. Very kind and compassionate while still maintaining boundaries. I couldn’t have asked for a better nurse. She really seemed to love what she does. The doctor I had was condescending and stated that a NP should not be treating me and didn’t know what she was doing, however my NP has never dangerously overmedicated me as he did. I was in the ER the day after leaving with lithium toxicity. I could barely talk or walk. Zero coordination. Shaking. Blurred vision. Near syncope, nausea/vomiting, hot flashes. I was in the Autumn unit. All of the staff, nurses, and techs did everything in their power to make sure I was comfortable and taken care of. The doctors came to do wellness checks everyday. I was able to fully open up and be completely honest without fear of being judged or ridiculed. The first morning I was there I had a panic attack and Laila held my hands and walked me through it. She even cut up my food into small pieces so I could eat since I had recently had a dental surgery. Nurse Brooke came and sat in my room with me when I said I was scared to be alone and tried to redirect my brain from the anxiety by talking to me about family and offering to play whatever music I wanted. Carol was bubbly and positive with a smile on her face while trying to take care of all the patients requests and needs. Tyrek was incredible each and everyday, making me laugh with his positive and funny attitude even after a 13 hour shift. Stephen was amazing and busted his butt everyday, staying late when other staff didn't show up for shifts while keeping a smile on his face along with making everyone around him smile. I don't think I even saw Stephen sit down at all. Destiny was amazing and held a music therapy group for the clients that was so much fun. The dietician Rebekah was so helpful with any questions I had even when she was overwhelmed with the workload she had. Rhonda and Griselda are two of the sweetest women I've ever met, being patient, caring and kind while gathering and administering each patient's medications. Shi'nez and Iesha were so sweet and supportive. Abby was amazing and so great at showing the patients new coping skills. Shaq and Derek were awesome and hilarious, making the days more enjoyable. Dr. Downes checked in on me everyday, along with Nurse Reid, and they both made me feel heard, validated, and valued. I could feel how much they understood the battle that was going on in my brain and that they genuinely cared and worked fast and hard to help correct the chemical imbalance from the medications I was on. If I could give a 6th star, I absolutely would. I 1000% recommend Conway wellness center if you are struggling and need help. They truly care and listen and do whatever they can to help you get back to feeling like yourself. I left the facility feeling like I had my spark back and have continued treatment in the outpatient facility next door, which is also absolutely incredible. I truly love each and every one of the staff members from the Autumn unit and the outpatient therapy facility. They absolutely made a huge impact on my life and I am grateful to each and every one of them. If I could go back just to visit with the staff, I totally would because they are just that amazing. When I was 12 I was having bad anger issues and suicidal thoughts to the point I was scared of the harm I was causing to not only myself but others. I came here and I asked a staff member the fastest way to get out of there cuz I was scared. He told me to just cooperate with the doctors and therapists and tell them exactly how I feel so they could help me. I seen and did some crazy shit while in there, but all in all I came out as a complete bettered version of myself and I wish I could tell the kids in there the same thing I was told.
