I have nothing but positive thoughts and love for Step Seven. I have been apart of the community for 15 months now and I can honestly say God and Step Seven saved my life. I was in a bad place and bad shape and didn’t think help existed. I gave the director a call when I got out of prison and was in a home that night. Over the 15 months I have watched my life transform. I have restored relationships, I have built a true foundation, I have real brothers who have my back, I am a brand new man. It’s not only me that this change has happened too. I truly couldn’t say a negative thing about Sandstone Care in Denver; they are amazing. I was in one of the lowest points of my life when I reached out to Sandstone admissions and even then, I received the best care right off the bat. My admissions coordinator, (Kevin Clark) was incredibly helpful and informative and even mentioned some of his own story to make me feel more comfortable and confident in starting this new journey in my life. I started the program in their PHP group and I first noticed that it felt different from the other treatment facilities I had ever been to. I felt comfortable, accepted, and safe. It was a new, but warm feeling. In the PHP group, I learned several /new/ ways of looking at the different issues I was going through. It didn’t feel like anyone was blaming me, but more like “these are things I am struggling with; okay, what can I do to make them feel less awful?” This is something that made Sandstone different for me - they actually helped me, as the individual, build new foundations and discover my values in life. After I finished up their PHP program, I stepped down to IOP and from there, I felt like a new person. I noticed that my self-esteem was growing and that when I was going through my lower moments of time, I could actually recognize what was happening and control the situation. Now this was huge considering I have been struggling with Anxiety/Major Depressive disorder since 5th grade. I could not figure out the words to describe the weight lifted off of my chest after completing my time at Sandstone Care. For anyone considering treatment for yourself or a loved one here, I would seriously recommend it. I was hesitant at first because of the question, “what if it’s just like every other mental health facility?” It’s not and I will die on that hill. During my time at Sandstone, I worked closely with the lead therapist, Sam, the program director, Mike, and the family therapist, Elliot. Each of these individuals made such a huge impact on my mental health journey and I am just so grateful for them. They really do make a difference.

I loved this place so much to say the least. Sometimes it can be frustrating and anxiety inducing trying to find a good place to get treatment, especially when dealing with insurance companies. When I first reached out, I made the call in the early afternoon and they had me in the very next morning to do the intake!! I participated in the Adult PHP program and enjoyed every second of it, made many new friends and found every reason to stay sober. Shout-out to Sam and Wyndi, they are the best there is!! ❤️

This place helped me save my own life. The therapists were all very helpful and they believed in me when I couldn't believe in myself. And they truly care about you . If your willing they will help you. But keep in mind, places like this aren't miracle workers, they can't snap there fingers and make your life all better. No where can do that for you ,that's all up to YOU. How bad do you want to change ? That's what you need to ask yourself , and then decide if your ready to do whatever it takes . I know in my heart these people will do whatever they can to walk beside you . but this is your journey and you gotta be willing.

Our family has had experience with many different inpatient, Outpatient and sober living and Mile High has by far been the best program. We were at our lowest point and going down the list of programs and feeling more and more hopeless with each call, until we called Mile High and spoke with Jill. Absolutely blown away by this facility. Detoxing IS intimidating!
I was not ready for what I was walking into, in a good way! The staff is the ABSOLUTE BEST! I felt welcomed, never judged, cared for and about! The staff was AMAZING... (in the order of appearance because I loved them all so much!) Wanda, Darian, Tess, Sadie, Paige, Shante, Frances & Kiki!! LOVE THEM! They made sure I had everything I needed to come down comfortably! The pictures of the rooms, that's what you get! A queen sized bed with a TV in your private room. Beds are comfy and the great lighting for whatever mood you're in! The entire facility is clean, really clean! The staff here really takes pride in what they do! The food, was amazing! They order in Door Dash for lunch and dinner from good places! Plus, they have things to eat in the kitchen as well as coffee, hot tea, Gold Peak teas, Gatorade, and way more! Fruits, toast, bagels! I could go on! I appreciated that they kept everything stocked. While there, they also helped me to line up what my next steps were, provided me resources on places/providers/therapists that were in network for me. I didn't expect that, but really appreciate not having to leave without a plan! Thank you lovely therapist Ali for all your hard work on that! I can't forget Dr. Welcher, she clearly knows what she's doing and how to handle this process! To barely feel any symptoms is unheard of! This is the way to go! No reason to be scared anymore!
One more shout out to the staff! I wouldn't be where I am today without all of them! I've been going through it pretty bad (like most people), but they were so kind, compassionate, attentive and truly have the biggest hearts! They also were fun to be around which made the time there so much easier! Thank you so much!!! I'm gonna send a card when I'm a year clean and enjoying life!

Just did a walk in intake so far. The staff member Ian was exceptionally helpful, and polite, and a very kind and professional man..my boyfriend and I showed up ad walk ins just after working on cars all.day we were a bit messy. Ian didn't change his behavior towards us though. He was still very professional and spoke.to us the same way he spoke to all the other clients

I have SO MUCH HEART for this place. I neva evvvaaa want to find myself back into detox let alone relapsing. But I can tell you this: No.1-BEST STAFF IN THE WORLD ... became my instant friends, people I looked up to. they went ABOVE & BEYOND for me!! Leia, went to where I stayed to get my stuff for me!!! Jordan went to her house to go get me some clothing. Aly, Veronica, Monica, Ryan, Conner. SHOUT OUT. (I'm forgetting some names, but you know if I met you at RMD, you made a difference to me) No.2- Meals to die for No.3- Waterbottle given upon entry. none of that dixie cup shit. lol No.4- Nice rooms with your own tv, netflix, bathroom, closet (ONE roommate- prob a dope one cuz lets face it, we all are going through the same BS) No.5- People coaching you if you want it... meetings.. if you want em.
Sadly, I have been in detox.. a lot. by far, hands down, the best place anyone could go to get a jump start back into LIFE.
I checked myself in on xmas eve. and it was the best decision I've made in a long ass time. Take step one like this girl & you might find a smile on your face too .. quicker than you think!

Knowing that this facility is in my community gives me so much peace of mind. If I had read the negative reviews before seeking help here myself, I likely would have been too scared to get help when I needed it. The staff and facility, while underfunded and understaffed showed me so much kindness, support, and understanding in my brief stay there. Thank you to everyone there ❤️

This place changed me for the better. My room and shower was way better than I expected, I felt comfortable in my room for my entire 6 day stay. The food was good. My daily schedule consisted of 4 groups a day, seeing a prescriber for medication and seeing a therapist to talk about my day. This daily routine helped me tremendously. Before I came here, I was crying at least one a day and my sleep schedule was messed up. The first night I was here, my sleep schedule was fixed in an instant and I only cried once during my 6 day stay. This place changed me and the other people who were there would tell you the exact same thing. Everyone I met was incredibly nice to me, the nurses, therapists, group leaders and especially the other people I met in there who we're trying to get their mental health together like me. I could comfortably talk about my state of mind without being judged. This place needs its praises. If you're struggling, please go here.

My 1st looney bin experience was a good one. The techs who were with us all the time were super amazing and kind. The nurses were hit or miss and the PA I was assigned to be was pretty good. The food was also great. They also made appts for me to see a psychiatrist and I made my own therapy appt. I hope to never go back, but I guess if I had to it would be here!

Highlands Behavioral Health saved my life. When I signed myself up to be apart of their inpatient program I was in psychosis, suicidal, and terrified of what could happen. I spent a week in inpatient and it was exactly what I needed to get my life back on track. A majority of the staff is so kind and trauma informed. If I’m ever in trouble again, this is the first place I’ll go.
I want to give a shoutout to Diane (RN), Blake (RN), Bre and Sarah (ET therapists), Matt (BHT), and Trevor (BHT). Lastly I want to thank Dr. Kosmach especially for meeting me where I was in recovery and being so kind and patient.

I’ve been to a few other clinics around denver the past few years and this one is by far the best! The counselors and nurses are top notch laid back atmosphere with supportive and productive staff that seem to really care about your well being safety and health. I’ve made more progress via this facility than I ever have at other clinics and will continue to sing the praises of this place.

Bicycle Health saved my life!!! It was a little rough in the beginning trying to find a pharmacy to fill the prescription, but my provider called around until she found one. It's great to not have to go daily to get your medicine, and the zoom meetings are super convenient. I've been a patient for a little over a year now, they are great people.

Bicycle health is hands down one of the best treatment options for anyone who needs Suboxone treatment. The providers are AMAZING they actually listen and care. They never make me feel judged or bad about myself. They are great at making you feel comfortable and respected. Also the rest of their team (those who answer msgs, do billing, answer any questions you have or get msg to your provider etc...) are just as great they are always patient with me and respond to my needs promptly and professionally. I know this review is long but these guys are worth it and I just had to share. If you need help...get ahold of them you won't regret it!!!
