Arrowwood has been a great experience. The people here make all the difference. Jamie is EXCELLENT at what he does as an alumni coordinator. He does amazing peer support work. Keegan, Jess, Ms. T, and Ajai are phenomenal group facilitators. Uschell, Joel, Suge, Quan, Claud, Crystal, and Tracy are amazing BHT's. Everyone is so supportive. The facility is great, very clean, and lots of things to do here. I would recommend to a friend.

I just want to take a moment to thank Arrowwood and their entire team. I’ve had several friends—and even family members—go through their program, and every single one of them has had nothing but great things to say. They always mention how beautiful the facility is, but more importantly, how genuinely kind, caring, and supportive the staff are on a personal level. Thank you all for the amazing work you do—please keep it up!

I have been with this program for over eight years. There are so many opportunities offered in the program now it is amazing! Patients learn tools through the comprehensive education of our core groups of drug education, relapse prevention, coping skills, dual diagnosis, life skills, mindfulness, etc. Patients also have the opportunities of learning how to use a computer, build their resumes, get tutoring for the GED, take the GED test, go to Driver's Education, take college courses and the list is building everyday. The staff is a great team of hardworking individuals that put their hearts and souls into what they do.

Had a great experience both times I was hospitalized! The doctors, PAs, nurses, lab folks, housecleaning , food staff were very accommodating, thoughtful, and caring. I like the fact that they do a very thorough job to ensure you are well before they release you. I didn t feel like I was a number or just someone occupying a bed. this is one of the best hospital I ve been to. My daughter lives in Fairfax and asked me to take her to the hospital. I told her I would drive her to Mary Washington before I would take her to the hospital in Fairfax. That is just how confident I am in the care. I know Mary Washington provides to its patients.PS: i ve had family members stay here who were from out of town. The doctors at Mary Washington were able to find things that my family members doctors missed. As a result, my family members were able to get the care they needed.

I spent time at MW hospital recently and another local hospital about three months ago. The other hospital wanted to send me home even though I was in AFib... Also, the communication with the nursing staff and doctors at that other hospital was really bad.... The time I was at MW hospital the staff from the nurses to the CA was great... The only issue I had was with the doctor that I first dealt with and he was the one tgat ordered my medication. He mad it a bit confusing. He didn't understand my needs completely... The doctor that was there after I was admitted she was great and made sure I understood everything that was to take place with my care. All in all the staff made sure I was care for and mad the stay bearable.... Thanks!

The groups and the therapists (even if at first believe they aren't worth your time) are absolutely amazing!!!Katie Fields is the best therapist i have ever had. Katie and Kylie facilitate the DBT groups and without the DBT skills i learned i would have never been able to stay sober (after years of constant relapse). I also was in Danielle's Thursday night S.A. group was also extremely helpful in my journey in sobriety. Every therapist has different approaches, but every single one of them will never give-up on you even when you want to give-up on yourself. Long story short i LOVE Lighthouse Counseling and would recommend it to anyone!!!

Everyone was very kind and helpful even with me being in so much pain I could barely walk and so much anxiety. I can t speak highly enough of my experience. WMTC is a great place and they provide a great service. If you can get past some of the stupidity of some program statements/practices you will do great. An example is I had 5 take homes per week which meant I only had to go in 2 days a week, but when I started to taper down by 3 mgs a week (my dose was only adjust once a week) they took my take homes....it was clear they wanted to keep me strung out on methadone! I went down to 10 mgs and quit and have been doing great for over a year...….so I appreciate them getting me off heroin but it is clear places like this want to keep your payment coming in !!!
