Was closed for a short while due to water damage but opened again. Only downside was the grant terms for testing for HIV were changed so I'll have to get that done elsewhere otherwise a clean place with polite staff.

Nice facilities

I took my son to the emergency room this morning at 2:30am. We sat for 2 hours in the lobby with my child in incredible pain which I thought might be an appendicitis while waiting for a room. There was no sense of urgency, no help for my child. Once we got back to the room, the nurse put in an IV which they didn't even use. My child felt better and we were just going to leave when a doctor convinced me to continue with the CT scan. The CT scan took another 4 hours! We were at the EMERGENCY room for 6 hours! This is not emergency medicine if it takes this long. Its a complete contradiction. I pay a ton of money to have healthcare and insurance and if this is the care my son gets, then it should be free. What a complete waste of time, money, and effort. I will never go to this hospital again.

I love this organization, the location I visit has a chapel for anyone, it's a beautiful little room to pray or just meditate. They have a food pantry and free community meals are served seven days a week. It's a good place for those in need of nutrition, money help in dire situations, and those people staffing the offices are understanding persons. They never look down on people who need help, no matter the reason.

God has many ways to manifest in your life and to guide you on the path of good. I thank God and the Holy Spirit for this second opportunity to improve my life.

Great organization on many levels

Goodmans is a top notch place, I had to get an assessment there and went heavenly, The staff there is warm and welcoming. Barbara is an angel, this place is a beacon of what places should be in this field. My word is my honor and I make this statement honestly. Thank You Goodmans

Ambulance woke me up at 4:10 am in the morning. This hospital generates an insufferable amount of noise pollution for residents nearby.

This was by far the best ER/hospital experience I have ever had. The staff were kind, attentive, and seemed to genuinely care. All of the doctors had great bedside manner, the nurses were kind and attentive, it was clean, not over crowded, and they overall took great care of me. I will without a doubt be going out of my way to go here above any other hospital or ER going forward. Thank you for making me feel humanized in a really vulnerable and extremely painful moment of my life. I will not forget the care I received here. It gave me hope in getting the care I deserve as someone who has had horrible experiences with hospitals and doctors.

My therapist Julia has made such a significant impact on my healing. She has helped me in humanizing my emotions to my trauma. Without judgment, she has brought to me self-awareness of how I can make positive changes to build upon my strengths. Seeking mental help has changed my life. Lea McIntosh is an amazing therapist! I've been seeing her regularly for over 2 years now and I'm always happy with our sessions. She is kind, listens well, easy to talk to and has helpful advice and resources. 5 stars for Lea! ★★★★★ I've seen Dan Goodnature once (before meeting Lea) but he gave bad advice for my OCD. I asked him if the advice he provided might make the problem worse and offered my reasoning why and then he agreed and told me not to follow that advice. He was very nice though so I'd give him 3 stars. ★★★ I would give Ronald May negative stars if possible. He was rude, arrogant, argumentative, unprofessional and unhelpful. He ended my couple's therapy session early after yelling at my boyfriend. -★

I've been going here for psychiatry and counseling for years. I get early morning appts, and if I have a concern I get a call back within 24 hours. Excellent care, highly recommended!

I have come to PSSC for the last 7 years. There are some very talented people who work there, its just a matter of getting one. Mental health care is hard to find and its been my experience with PSSC that they will try to help people get in and they "get it". There's always going to be bad experiences but when we are talking mental health care, ya take what you can get right now and for what it is, Psychiatric Services puts its best foot forward. They're not trying to be UWHealth. They are trying to serve the under served. Which is admirable. Old school.

Vickie Mason is a wonderfully skilled Substance Abuse Counselor. I have been seeing her since I was 13 when my mother was an alcoholic. I am now 26-years-old and continue to see Vickie for my own struggles. She has helped me through the toughest battles throughout my life. I leave her office feeling as though my soul is renewed.

They will help those willing to help themselves. 100% the place to go when you’re ready to get your life together.

My 16 year old daughter spent 4 months at Midwest Center for Youth and Families in 2025 due to multiple suicide attempts, self harm, and borderline traits along with Bipolar and Oppositional Defiant Disorder. She was transferred there directly from a psychiatric hospital in Pittsburgh PA. It was not an easy decision and the last thing she said to me as we left her two states away was "I'm your daughter, how could you do this to me?". I'm here to tell you that my daughter would likely not be alive today if it weren't for the staff at Midwest Center for Youth and Families. Everyone I dealt with, from Mama D at reception, to the BSWs (Kate, Sydney, Ahr, Sarah, Sam), her therapist Jeannette and her supervisor Val (and shout out to Tres, who was the weekend counselor we saw during our visits), Nurses Mo and Alexis, to Dr Jarvis, cared about my child and our family. They all practice and live DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy, which is very important for kids with BPD). The weekend parenting classes, weekly family sessions, and nightly updates were so important in helping us learn how to best communicate with our child. K didn't like the structure and the points system at first, and she was a challenge because she is very intelligent and resourceful. The staff stuck with her and helped her learn the skills she needed to learn to regulate herself emotionally and control the thoughts in her brain that were not healthy for her. After a month or so, she began to utilize the skills they taught her - she made friends, developed trusting affirming relationships with the staff, and really turned her outlook around. It was hard being apart from her for those four months. We had 10 minute daily calls with her, weekly family video sessions, and visits as often as we could. By the time she was ready to leave, she was tearful to be leaving. The cook gave her a special treat for her discharge going away meal. Her counselor and many of the staff came by to say goodbye while we did paperwork. The discharge process was very efficient - nurses did a medical transition with med plans, the counselor reviewed her safety and discharge plan, the discharge planner had arranged her aftercare, the teachers gave us an academic update and provided documents to the school and her care providers at home. She told her friends, teachers, and family that being at Midwest Center saved her life and really helped her. She has called to check in when she has had some struggles during the transition and staff has been wonderful. She even received a sweet card in the mail from the staff that was both encouraging and inspirational. As I read some of these other reviews, I can't help but question if this was even the same place! Our experience here was definitely a positive one for both our family and our daughter. I would encourage anyone who has questions to reach out to them or even to me for our experience. I can solidly recommend Midwest Center for Youth and Families to anyone with a child with mental health issues. We are so grateful for their expertise and guidance.

If you care about your child at all do not send them here. I was admitted when I was 14 due to severe depression on the girls unit. The staff is abusive and even so much as back talking will get you “put up to Jesus” (the nickname given by the patients. Imagine the exact position Jesus was crucified in, with arms stretched out, chest pushed into the wall where you can’t breathe and the push you up onto your toes so you can’t push back but it’s agonizingly painful while you’re struggling to catch your breath). Medications are not properly managed, and they will over prescribe medications if a child isn’t acting the way they expect. At any given time the staff may place a child on SI precautions regardless if the child completes an assessment or shows any change in behavior. At one point this happened to me, and when I refused to take off my long sleeves because I was cold I was held down and my crew neck was forcibly cut off. During med pass the children sit on cold concrete for an hour+ regardless of medical conditions or if they are in pain. Strip searches happen way to often and are traumatizing. The staff often threatened to keep the girls until they were 18 and would lie about their behavior. I was only there for 3 months, but there were a few girls who had been there up to 2+ years. It’s taken years for me to feel comfortable enough to write this review but this place should truly be shut down.

I was an urgent care pt. I was taken in a timely manner. Sarah the nurse practioner was great as was Dr Ann. Issue was resolved quickly.

I was seen by a doctor in a minimum amount of wait time. Diagnosis of my condition was also expedited.

My trip to urgent care was very positive! The receptionist was very attentive, and made sure I did not wait too long. Maria, medical assistant student, was very personable and helpful. Mary, PA, was professional and knowledgeable, and very caring. I would highly recommend ProHealth located at Discovery Dr. in Brookfield.

Overall I felt that it was a good experience. At first I didn't understand why they called an ambulance for me. But I complied with them and I went to the hospital. I assumed that they knew what was best for me and them because earlier I had informed them that I have been thinking about checking out of this life. Also I hadn't taken my medication for that last 3 days. I am now taking my medication on time daily. I believe that Rosecrance is a very good place for anyone who needs help and hopefully they will accept me now that I am medication compliant.

Rosecrance Mulberry Center was a great 14 day program to help me reset and get some of my mental health in order. They provide great group therapies, very informative on how to handle and live with Depression and other mental health issues. Having 1 on 1 discussions with a counselor really helped me and I gained a lot of confidence with sharing and expressing my emotions.
