I've heard great things from anyone who has ever gone to Mountain Lakes. I decided to go there a while ago and I confirmed everything they told me. All of the staff I've met are very nice and always willing to help me. It's also done me a lot of good to talk to someone about my issues.

The person I took to this facility DID NOT want to go but he needed help so he dealt with it, and he was glad he did by the time he was released. The counselors were knowledgeable and guided them from experience instead of preaching about things they had no clue about. Thank you Cedar Lakes for what you are doing to help people with nothing left in them.

To start, I am someone who has to live everyday by working to manage my several diagnoses... I will always need psychiatric medication and that's ok! I was facing new and extreme insurance issues that prevented me from getting very important psychiatric medication that I've been on for years. Mountain Lakes went above and beyond. In a very scary time for me...)pay $700/mo for one rx which was unfeasible..or be checked into the hospital)... They picked me up and took me to my appts and worked with the insurance company for months until they got my medicine covered! I also felt I wasn't heard during my psych eval and felt I had an additional diagnosis. After a year of therapy and psychiatrist appts, they did amend my diagnosis..they listened to me and had evidence to back their diagnosis. They did right by me. Sarah Dettweiler is the psychiatrist I have been seeing and she's very good at what she does..she's calm and very nice..not intimidating and listens! Brenda..I had an episode at her when I was waiting for my medicine and this sweet lady was always very very nice. Also I had a few counselors I wasn't happy with and they switched me to Brittany...she's truly the best I've ever had. I feel my care is safe in their hands and I trust them!

I had an extremely abusive childhood. It takes a lot for me to learn to open up. I’d been hospitalized over 20 times in 3 years for hurting myself. I never thought I’d be able to get even slightly better. I was told I was going to live in a facility for the mentally ill and disabled. But i have one last try here! I’m harm free for over a year! I have job, car, and house. I’ve succeeded. Thanks to everyone here. And you can too. 💕

This is the first place that's ever truly helped me. They actually seem to care and want to get you help as soon as possible each time. They know they are working with mentally ill patients and are extremely understanding of circumstances in your life. They deserve every bit of 5*

A good place to go for recovery from drugs and alcohol the women down there are more than welcome to help you if you're willing to help yourself really polite and really nice

They have friendly staff, my therapists were always open to many different situations and help with ways to achieve your goals. I've been receiving their services for more than 10 years, I highly recommend this place for many reasons, but one of them is the excellent service provided by the nurses who work as close as possible to get medication good for the client's needs.

Took my son with Autism’they have been good to him and his therapist melody treats him with love and passion ‘never gets aggressive or aggravated at him’don’t base your decision on this place by google reviews‘most reviews are those mad for different reasons’

I had a thyroid biopsy done at DeKalb regional by Dr. Phillips. The procedure went smoothly with only a local anesthetic. Dr. Phillips and his staff were both friendly, professional, and informative during the procedure. I would highly recommend them

I'm a bit late posting due to being very busy with a newborn. I gave birth here on Monday November 17th with the assistance of Dr. Weemes and staff. I had a good experience here during my stay, and most of the staff were very personable and friendly. There was one nurse in particular for the night shift on Monday that I was a tad uneasy with because her demeanor seemed annoyed and cold towards me. I didn't ask for much assistance once I was transferred to my room after delivery. The staff did not bombard me while being there and it was pleasant. I greatly appreciate you guys at DRMC for the love and care you gave me and my lil family. When things settle more on my end I'll be back up there to give ya'll a thank you gift. I do hope more people provide positive reviews on this hospital because the staff were awesome, and so was my care.

The counselors are very attentive toward the patient's needs, the setting is discreet and pleasant. All the people who work in Alabama Psychological Services Center are professionals dedicated to improving the life to the people who are suffering. They really do care about the patients.

This is the only clinic I've been to that seems to care about their patients all the way through-- the doctors, the therapists, and the front desk always are extremely courteous and considerate. Concerns you voice are taken seriously, and your input is considered regarding your own treatment. I don't want to name any one person, because legitimately, everyone here has been extremely good to me. I'd recommend them.

I have had such a pleasant experiences here. I was tested and evaluated by Dr. Hirsh in 2021. She was extremely kind and very professional. She cares a lot for her job and her patients. I recently have had to get my youngest daughter tested for autism and adhd and so far our experiences have been pleasant. When we couldn't make it to the office, due to sickness, Dr. Hirsh was kind enough to let us keep our appointment and do our appointment through video call. We will have her testing done here soon and I'm sure that will go just as pleasantly as the rest of our visits here.

This facility is great. The staff go above and beyond. They show great compassion and patience for their patients. You or your loved ones will be well taken care of.
