I got on medications to help with the mood symptoms that I was using alcohol to self-medicate for, and I got naltrexone to help with my physical cravings. People out there need to know Yvonne is a genuine person who cares. It's so important to have a plan in place, failure to plan = planning to fail. There is shadow journaling work to be done with past trauma, which is not what happened but what happened to your body as a result. There are clear trailheads/guideposts where I can pause and make good decisions or bad decisions, it is up to me. Group settings can be helpful even for an introvert. there is always something to learn in any situation and every week I have learned both from the teaching and from my peers. Things I learned from AA meetings: I had a preconceived notion about what AA meetings would look like and how I fit into them, but attending normalized the process for me. these are just regular people coming together to choose sobriety and support each other in that process. I can see how alcohol can rob a person of themselves, not all at once, but slipping away a little bit every day. important to stay focused on maintenance to live fully. Surrender. Not my strength as a type-A leo but I have learned how to surrender to those with more wisdom… god, sober friends, AA groups, sponsor, therapy, wednesday nights with Dr. Renee… allowing myself to surrender has been helpful in learning without defensiveness and finding peace. What I liked about this treatment program: I enjoyed how each week was on a discreet topic but over time the information came together like a puzzle. I also liked that group had people in all stages of treatment, from different backgrounds, with different relationships to alcohol/substances, yet we were there to learn the same things, together. If you have the money for the “beach houses” (housing fee) you’re in for a great time. Some people, mostly women, get blessed with the beach house if their insurance is good. I got blessed with two weeks at the beach with no money before they sent me to the inland housing which… everything is the same… you just can’t walk the beach whenever you want. Clinical runs the show. It’s actually very fun. There’s two women who carry the burden of PHP but it was so much fun. Silly stuff but like…I’m a persecuting peacock who views addiction as a disease model and I thrive in community. This may not make sense to you but it does to me. They blessed me with free housing for 4 weeks if I did IOP. I was able to move into my own place… yesterday… ten minutes from my job. For me I needed a safe place after PHP to re enter society… Danny at the Largo house had a huge heart and helped shepherd me around to meetings to get plugged in. And the gym. And protein powder. Sergio and I had a great time watching movies and going to meetings! I’ve never done detox to rez to PHP to IOP to “real world” But I did it. Old one had an issue two days later so they got me a loaner and sent that in for repair too (7 years old). They have been really accommodating. My PCP is Dr Ana. So far this is the best doctor I've had at my time with the VA here and in North Carolina and I am really happy she's my Dr. She listens and is receptive to providing info about lifestyle changes paired with medications instead of just handing me a combat bottle of pills and sending me out the door. But they aren't twisting your arm after 12 years the most I went was to 115 during pregnancy and I'm back down to 60 MG by dropping 5 MG a week so I dropped 55 MG pretty fast. But I'm ok I didn't need to be that high I don't think any one does I think they just search for that high they used to get so they go up and up and up. I have, and will continue, to recommend Groups Recover Together! If you're ready to change your life for the better; Groups make it easy! With various days/times to choose from, Intake is quick & private, the Counselor genuinely cares about you, the office manager will handle pharmacy issues, the Dr. knows not everyone's situation is not the same.If you don't have a sitter/car/feeling horrible from detoxing - (one of) THE BEST PART - you can talk, cry or just sit and listen from the privacy of your own home! And for someone like me, who suffers from social anxiety, even picking up the phone to make a Dr. appt can be challenging. I've been attending groups since 2022 when I relapsed after 8 years. And if the day comes where I am off the medication, I would still attend bc it's about more than just sobriety.. it's being there for people when they need someone.

I have been struggling with one form of addiction or another for over half my life. I thought it was a losing battle until one day a simple Google search I found groups recover together. It's like God put this group of people together to help folks deal with it. Everyone and I mean everyone from office manager, providers and counselors are amazing! If you are struggling and think that there's no help. Stop call groups recover together and work with them. They are there for you! I promise it will change your life. I'm going to fight the fight and I have the best help there is thanks to this company! Good luck

Absolutely incredible physicians and staff. I went through their detox program and HIGHLY recommend it. Dr. Rhyne saved my life and got me back on track back in July. The groups were excellent; I got a referral for inpatient therapy right away. I got on medications to help with the mood symptoms that I was using alcohol to self-medicate for, and I got naltrexone to help with my physical cravings. I know the rest is up to me, but this facility and those doctors and therapists really set me up for success.

A lot of us think Centerstone gets a bad rap I have never been there impatient I dealt with Yvonne to figure out how to keep me and my dog together and get the help I need and for that I am forever grateful if you need help and you know you do but you keep putting it off and off it will only get worse until you are broken you do not want to get there you know that you need help get it right away so it'll be easier to get back to your life versus everything being scattered and you lost your mind anybody out there with behavioral health problems or mental illness step ahead of it before it swallows you

From the minute I walked in the door I felt cared for.. The staff here is amazing, I couldn't of asked for nicer people.. for me it's been very easy to stay clean with all the support that you get from this place.. Even the jokes and little comments during class helped make a difficult process feel a little easier. This experience has taught me that asking for help is not a weakness. Program attended: Affordable Counseling Group - Wednesdays 7 pm Counselor's name: Dr. Renee Things I learned from group: Whether or not it is legal, alcohol is a toxin and robs you of experiencing the full spectrum of human emotion which is necessary to process life. It's so important to have a plan in place, failure to plan = planning to fail. There is shadow journaling work to be done with past trauma, which is not what happened but what happened to your body as a result. There are clear trailheads/guideposts where I can pause and make good decisions or bad decisions, it is up to me. Group settings can be helpful even for an introvert. there is always something to learn in any situation and every week I have learned both from the teaching and from my peers. Things I learned from AA meetings: I had a preconceived notion about what AA meetings would look like and how I fit into them, but attending normalized the process for me. these are just regular people coming together to choose sobriety and support each other in that process. I can see how alcohol can rob a person of themselves, not all at once, but slipping away a little bit every day. important to stay focused on maintenance to live fully. Surrender. Not my strength as a type-A leo but I have learned how to surrender to those with more wisdom… god, sober friends, AA groups, sponsor, therapy, wednesday nights with Dr. Renee… allowing myself to surrender has been helpful in learning without defensiveness and finding peace. What I liked about this treatment program: I enjoyed how each week was on a discreet topic but over time the information came together like a puzzle. I also liked that group had people in all stages of treatment, from different backgrounds, with different relationships to alcohol/substances, yet we were there to learn the same things, together. I enjoyed the discussion + video format and I enjoyed Dr. Renee's approachable yet no-nonsense approach. She truly is the best.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Kaley O., the admissions coordinator who helped us through the admission process. From the very beginning, Kaley was incredibly helpful, responsive, compassionate, and efficient. This was an extremely stressful and emotional process for me, and she made me feel like I wasn’t doing it alone. She answered my questions, kept me informed, helped me understand what needed to be done, and worked incredibly hard to help make the admission happen. There were so many moving pieces, paperwork, records, and insurance authorization involved, and Kaley was on top of everything. She went above and beyond to help us get through the process and never made me feel like I was just another admission. Footprints can either go one of two ways. You either feel blessed or you abuse the privileges and coast. Bougie rehab. If you have the money for the “beach houses” (housing fee) you’re in for a great time. Some people, mostly women, get blessed with the beach house if their insurance is good. I got blessed with two weeks at the beach with no money before they sent me to the inland housing which… everything is the same… you just can’t walk the beach whenever you want. Clinical runs the show. It’s actually very fun. There’s two women who carry the burden of PHP but it was so much fun. Silly stuff but like…I’m a persecuting peacock who views addiction as a disease model and I thrive in community. This may not make sense to you but it does to me. They blessed me with free housing for 4 weeks if I did IOP. I was able to move into my own place… yesterday… ten minutes from my job. For me I needed a safe place after PHP to re enter society… Danny at the Largo house had a huge heart and helped shepherd me around to meetings to get plugged in. And the gym. And protein powder. Sergio and I had a great time watching movies and going to meetings! I’ve never done detox to rez to PHP to IOP to “real world” But I did it. And Footprints held my hand until I jumped… And I landed just fine. Jesus is Lord. God Bless Footprints. And action!

June 2023, I attended Transformations and had a wonderful and very healing experience. I recently have celebrated 600 days sober from alcohol, which is what I went into rehab for. The staff was knowledgeable, respectful, and supportive. The living accommodations were top notch! It was a true home away from home feeling. I would not be where I am today without Transformations!

I live in another state now. I came into this place homeless after having been on a 1 year drinking binge, facing 70 years in two states. Initially, I was only here to "hide-out", and then I began seeing all these people come through who had the hope of sobriety. After staying here for one month, I was sober, had hope and turned myself in, that was the start of my current 9 years of sobriety. This is not a facility that is here to make money, it is hardcore and no frills, but looking back it was the best rehab I ever went to, all these places with millions of dollar budgets should take lessons from Turning Point, I will never forget it.

This is a “no-frills”, last stop for someone who is desperate to make it to tomorrow. If you want sobriety, are out of options and are willing to go to any lengths to get it, Turning Point might work for you. Your success rate is commensurate with the amount of effort you are willing to expend, your ability to follow instructions, and the degree to which you are honest with yourself. This place saved my life.

It's August 2026 and I have visited four times. So far I've been greeted and attended to upon arrival. The staff have been so friendly, respectful and helpful. I've read negative reviews about this place so I was concerned visiting here but me personally I have had a great experience. Twice I came here without an appointment for hearing aid issues and was seen within 5 minutes both times. They repaired my old backup set on the spot and mailed the new ones off for repair. Old one had an issue two days later so they got me a loaner and sent that in for repair too (7 years old). They have been really accommodating. My PCP is Dr Ana. So far this is the best doctor I've had at my time with the VA here and in North Carolina and I am really happy she's my Dr. She listens and is receptive to providing info about lifestyle changes paired with medications instead of just handing me a combat bottle of pills and sending me out the door.

UPDATE : 3/24/26. Stan from new seasons contacted me after this post and apologized for the confusion and straightened everything out within a day. The program director and the counselors at the Sarasota New season treatment center very helpful and very pleasant I have one Problem I had to pay out-of-pocket for my first three dosing because I was told by Elise that she wasn’t sure Medicare will pay even though they accepted Medicare, Well Medicare paid them and and this person Elise will not return my phone calls so I don’t know how to get my refund I left messages on her office phone and her cell phone I call almost every day for the last three weeks so if anyone has Medicare be careful of the new season treatment center donewtx Wc she will not return my calls so if anyone has Medicare be careful of the new season treatment center

I just became a patient of New Seasons, After asking my pain management doctor for help he dropped me and I was pretty much left to my own devices, I found new seasons I was able to get an appointment the next day, the staff was extremely kind supportive loving understanding, I am a Christian and I was praying for help and I just know that God was in the details sending me to this facility, they were not judgmental they welcomed me with open arms, they provide many services and I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of help getting off opiates, and my case it was an addiction that started because I’m prescribed oxycodone for my back I’ve been in Pain Management for years, they don’t care they will help you no matter what the circumstances, if you need help and you’re afraid or ashamed to ask please reach out to this clinic you will not be sorry

For anyone struggling with personal demons, let me just say that New Seasons Sarasota has been nothing but helpful, kind, and cooperative in my treatment. From the day I started, I felt like a tremendous weight had been lifted from my shoulders. Not that it disappeared; but the clinic helped me by taking some of that weight! I first attended the Bradenton clinic have been attending par for 12 years and yes it seems they try to get you to go up in your dose because they are always asking how your feeling are you stable blah blah blah. But they aren't twisting your arm after 12 years the most I went was to 115 during pregnancy and I'm back down to 60 MG by dropping 5 MG a week so I dropped 55 MG pretty fast. But I'm ok I didn't need to be that high I don't think any one does I think they just search for that high they used to get so they go up and up and up. I totally recommend this comic and the Bradenton one nurse's extremely friendly front counter girls amazing! They saved my life
